金属成矿各论(二)
AN INTRODUCTION TO THE GENESIS OF ORE DEPOSITS (Ⅱ DISPERSED ELEMENTS)
-
Abstract: The enrichment of dispersed elements in the formation of ore deposits is controlled by three factors as the process of ore-forming of other metals: (1) formation of atoms, (2) migration of elements, (3) stability of elements under supergene conditions. For concentration of certain elements in a certain space, the atom-forming system is a fundamental process. Atom-forming processes are mainly as follows: 1. accumulation of products of positive-direction nuclear translation; 2. products of fission of heavy nucleus; 3. products of decay of the heavy radioactive nucleus and the splints of nuclear fission of those decayed elements. This paper deals with some elements of B group in the periodic table, namely Ga, Ge, Se, Cd, In, Te, Tl etc. According to associated systems, they may be classified as follows: (1) Bi——In, Sn, Sb, Te——As, Se (2) Pb——Ag, Cd, In——Cu, Zn, Ga, Ge, As (3) HgTl——Ag——Sb, Te——As, Se (4) Au——Ag, Cd, In——Cu——Ge, As, Se Since these dispersed elements arc associated with heavy metallic sulfides, they can be concentrated to form ore deposits commonly in slight acid rocks and acid rocks which are intruded in the middle or late stage of orogeny, and are enriched mainly by hydrothermal processes. Another group is formed during the crystallization of the components of basic rocks, it includes sulfide deposits of Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Ga, Ge, As, Se. These deposits are essentially accumulated from the products of positive-direction nuclear translation.
