Having top ten percent highly cited papers since 2007 to 2011 from the SCI E database of every year as the source of statistical analysis, we will make a bibliometrics study to the development status and trend of the earth science in the recent years from the general overview of the international earth science scientific papers, the main country and institutions, and the research focus, aiming at providing references for the related administrations to understand the development trend of the earth science research.
