Abstract:Based on the geological characteristics of Jiancaodi bauxite deposit in Sanmenxia, the ore-forming material sources, ore-controlling factors and metallogenic evolution model are analyzed. The Benxi Formation, as the ore-bearing layer of the deposit, was formed under the coupling processes of sedimentary discontinuity, sedimentary paleogeography and paleostructure, followed by uplift, denudation and local accumulation. Its metallogenic evolution model has typical prospecting significance in western Henan.
