| Abstract: | In this paper, the limitation of "Dominant Wavelength Theory" is discussed, and a modified theory applicable to the folds of single layer intercalated between limitedly and differently thick media is proposed. In addition, the modified "Dominant Wavelength Theory" is proved by the experimental folding in both elastic and viscous materials. |
