Abstract: | The basic principle of high density resistivity method is briefly illustrated in this paper. By using the high density resistivity method, the buried section of Dayingjiang fault is detected on the south side of the Yingjiang Basin. The results show that Dayingjiang fault dislocated into Holocene strata, and Dayingjiang fault is infered to be an active fault in Holocene. Combined with the results of trench excavation, the buried faults have been verified by high density resistivity method. We confirmed the trend, specific location, and active era of Dayingjiang fault. The research indicates the simpleness and feasibility of the high density resistivity method. It provides a basis for the engineering construction and the planning of earthquake prevention and disaster reduction of Yingjiang County. |
