对观测到的受星风或膨胀气壳包围的双星系统的PCyg谱线理论分析可精确测定其星风物质损失率,我们在计算这类星的理论谱线时,考虑了氢氦混合气体的多能级跃迁,轨道运动引起的密度非径向分布等因素,对轨道形状做了简化,所得结果是令人满意的。  相似文献

ζAur双星系统是一类特殊双星系统 ,由一颗晚型红巨星和一颗早型热星组成。红巨星有强大的星风物质损失 ,并在双星系统外部形成一向外膨胀的气壳 ;热星在星风气壳内作轨道运动。由于热星的紫外辐射可以激发星风物质而发光 ,星风物质的向外运动和双星的轨道运动使得ζAur型双星系统的光谱产生特殊周期性变化的PCyg谱线。近十多年来发展起来的、利用运动大气理论计算ζAur型双星系统的PCyg谱线形成 ,以确定这类双星系统中红巨星的星风物质损失率的方法是目前测定物质损失率方法中较为精确的方法。  相似文献

共生星双星是一颗有强大星风物质损失的红巨星与一颗早型热星组成的特殊双星系统。由于早型热星在充满红巨星的星风物质的空间中环绕运行,可以产生P—Cygni型谱线,通过对P—Cygni型谱线的理论分析可以精确测定共生星双星的星风物质损失率。文章介绍了国际上比较有代表意义的一些共生星双星的工作,其中的方法几乎都是近十年中发展起来的。同时,文章还介绍了作者的一些工作。在谱线形成计算中考虑了较多的因素,如氢—氦混合气体的多能级跃迁问题、轨道运动引起的密度非径向分布问题等,并在轨道形状方面做了一些简化。反映了共生星双星谱线形成关键的周期性相位变化的特征,取得了比较满意的结果,对这个方法存在的问题和改进方向进行了一些简要讨论,此外,还介绍了作者在线性化分离法求解Non-LTE大气模型中所做的工作。  相似文献

在年轻星体星周致密HII区非局部热动平衡模型基础上,本文主要计算了年轻星体红外氢谱线流量及流量比.计算发现在Pfγ/Brα与Brγ/Brα之间,Pa7/Brα与Brγ/Brα之间有很好的线性相关性,这一关系与星周物理参数基本无关.利用这一理论关系可以估计YSOs的前景消光.另外,我们认为只要合理地选择中央星及星风的物理参数,例如质量损失率及星风速度等,年轻恒星的谱线过量问题就可以得到合理的解释.文中给出了部分红外源的分析结果.  相似文献

用整个系统的角动量守恒条件代替切向动量守恒条件,推导出星风质量吸积及轨道参量变化方程.在新的轨道参量变化方程的基础上,计算了外赋AGB星系统的星风质量吸积及轨道参量的变化.将星风吸积模型同内禀AGB星核合成模型结合起来,通过逐次脉冲吸积质量和混合,自洽地计算外赋AGB星的重元素超丰,并给出计算结果与观测值的比较.对初始质量较大的Ba星(M2.0=2.5M⊙),当系统轨道周期大于1300天时,属于星风吸积,小于600天成为共同包层双星或灾变双星.对初始质量较小的Ba星(M2.0=13M⊙),当系统轨道周期大于1600天时,属于星风吸积,小于600天时成为灾变双星,由此可以解释Ba星的重元素超丰和轨道参量的观测事实,并有利于解释观测到的外赋S星轨道周期的600天下限.随着星风吸积过程的进行,轨道偏心率逐渐增大,这对解释Ba星轨道偏心率平均值大于外赋S星和CH星平均值的观测事实有利.  相似文献

本文对文章Ⅰ所建立的钡星形成的完备模型进行了MonteCarlo分析,并同观测结果作了比较.结果表明,大部分强钡星可能产生于星风吸积过程、星风暴露过程和稳定的洛希瓣物质交流过程,而大部分中等钡星可能产生于星风吸积过程和星风暴露过程.银河系中钡星的数量、轨道周期分布和质量函数分布在本文各种模型计算结果范围之内.模型还预言钡星轨道周期与污染因子相关.模型给出,银河系中钡星的诞生率为002/年左右,亮于10个星等的钡星大约有6000颗,强钡星的平均质量为18M⊙左右,而钡星的白矮星伴星平均质量为060M⊙.另外,结果还显示,星族IAGB星热脉动开始较早,星风有潮汐增强效应存在(B~500),s过程最大恒星质量为2M⊙左右.  相似文献

首先指出目前星风吸积模型中理论上的不自洽,考虑到δr≠0,重新推导轨道参量变化方程,消去了理论上的不自洽.提出一个新模型:首次将星风吸积同内禀AGB星核合成模型结合起来计算钡(Ba)星的重元素超丰,并将计算结果与观测值进行了比较.各参量按标准情况取值时,计算结果不太理想.取Bondihoyle吸积率的0.5倍或取较大的星风速率时,对于较长轨道周期(P>1000天)的Ba星,计算结果与观测值基本符合;而较短轨道周期(P<600天)的Ba星,其重元素超丰机制可能是盘吸积  相似文献

A novel method is presented for the wavelength calibration of the Large Sky Area Multi-Object Fiber Spectroscopic Telescope (LAMOST). The proposed method combines the arc lines and night sky lines, and can achieve high performance. Firstly, the initial wavelength calibration is performed by employing arc lines. Afterwards, the centroids of sky lines are calculated by the initial calibration results and adjusted by the gravity method iteratively. Finally, the ultimate wavelength calibration is obtained by fitting the centroids of arc lines and sky lines with their corresponding wavelengths. Experiments are performed on the data observed by LAMOST, and the results of the proposed method are more accurate than that of the calibration only by arc lines or sky lines. The calibration sky lines are dense in the red channel (5,700–9,000 Å) of LAMOST, but only a few ones are in the blue channel (3,700–5,900 Å). The new method achieves excellent results in the red channel as the substantial sky lines are employed, and the calibration accuracy of the blue channel is also enhanced in some degree by the scare sky lines.  相似文献

This paper elucidates the topological relationship between the distribution of polarity neutral lines on the solar surface and the interspersion of closed field lines among open field lines in the corona. The solar surface contains polarity neutral lines, that are spatially nested in a series-and-parallel hierarchy. The corona is partitioned by separatrix surfaces into a corresponding hierarchy of nested magnetic cells. The complexity of the magnetic structure of the corona consists in the embedding of magnetic cells of closed field lines amid open field lines.Polarity neutral lines lie necessarily on the foot surfaces of magnetic cells that are filled with closed field lines. There are two topologically distinct types of magnetic cells of closed field lines: closed and open. Only the open cells are overlain by current sheets. Each of the heliospheric current sheets separates the open field lines encircled by an open cells from the open field lines encircling the cell. Since closed cells have no images in the outer corona, the cell structure of the latter reflects those polarity neutral lines associated with the open cells in the lower corona. Accordingly, there are fewer heliospheric current sheets, as revealed by magnetic neutral lines on the source surface, in interplanetary space than polarity neutral lines on the solar surface.  相似文献

Observations made at the quiet Sun-centre with the Coronal Diagnostic Spectrometer (CDS) and Solar Ultraviolet Measurements of Emitted Radiation (SUMER) instruments on the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory ( SOHO ) have shown that the intensities of the resonance lines of He  i and He  ii are significantly larger than predicted by emission measure distributions found from other transition region lines. The intensities of the helium lines are observed to be lower in coronal holes than in the quiet Sun. Any theory proposed to account for the behaviour of the helium lines must explain the observations of both the quiet Sun and coronal holes. We use observations made with SOHO to find the physical conditions in a polar coronal hole. The electron pressure is found using the C  iii 1175-Å and N  iii 991.5-Å lines, as the C  iii line at 977.0 Å becomes optically thick in some regions at high latitudes. The mean electron pressure is a factor of ≃2 lower than that at the quiet Sun-centre. The mean coronal electron temperature is     . The helium lines are enhanced with respect to other transition region lines but by factors which are ≃ 30 per cent smaller than at the quiet Sun-centre. The mean ratios of the intensities of the He  i 537.0- and 584.3-Å lines and of the He  i and He  ii 303.8-Å lines vary little with the type of region studied. These ratios are compared with those predicted by models of the transition region, taking into account the radiative transfer in the helium lines. No significant variation is found in the relative abundances of carbon and silicon.  相似文献

The resonances that appear in the linear compressible MHD formulation of waves are studied for equilibrium states with flow. The conservation laws and the jump conditions across the resonance point are determined for 1D cylindrical plasmas. For equilibrium states with straight magnetic field lines and flow along the field lines the conserved quantity is the Eulerian perturbation of total pressure. Curvature of the magnetic field lines and/or velocity field lines leads to more complicated conservation laws. Rewritten in terms of the displacement components in the magnetic surfaces parallel and perpendicular to the magnetic field lines, the conservation laws simply state that the waves are dominated by the parallel motions for the modified slow resonance and by the perpendicular motions for the modified Alfvén resonance.The conservation laws and the jump conditions are then used for studying surface waves in cylindrical plasmas. These waves are characterized by resonances and have complex eigenfrequencies when the classic true discontinuity is replaced by a nonuniform layer. A thin non-uniform layer is considered here in an attempt to obtain analytical results. An important result related to earlier work by Hollweg et al. (1990) for incompressible planar plasmas is found for equilibrium states with straight magnetic field lines and straight velocity field lines. For these equilibrium states the incompressible and compressible surface waves have the same frequencies at least in the long wavelength limit and there is an exact correspondence with the planar case. As a consequence, the conclusions formulated by Hollweg et al. still hold for the straight cylindrical case. The effects of curvature are subsequently considered.  相似文献

Previous studies using observations made at low spatial and spectral resolution showed that the resonance lines of He  i and He  ii are anomalously strong in the quiet Sun when compared with other transition region lines formed at similar temperatures. Here, the higher spatial and spectral resolution provided by the Coronal Diagnostic Spectrometer ( cds ) instrument on board the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory ( SOHO ) is used to re-examine the behaviour of the He  i and He  ii lines and other transition region lines, in quiet regions near Sun centre. Supergranulation cell boundaries and cell interiors are examined separately. Near-simultaneous observations with the sumer instrument provide information on the lower transition region and the electron pressure. While the lines of He  i and He  ii have a common behaviour, as do the other transition region lines, the behaviour of the helium lines relative to the other transition region lines is significantly different. The emission measure distributions that account for all transition region lines, except those of helium, fail to produce sufficient emission in the He  i and He  ii resonance lines by around an order of magnitude, in both supergranulation cell boundary and cell interior regions. The electron pressure appears to be higher in the cell interiors than in the average cell boundaries, although the uncertainties are large. While the VAL-D model gives a closer match to the He  i 584.3-Å line, it does not successfully reproduce other transition region lines.  相似文献

In solar extreme ultraviolet spectra the He  i and He  ii resonance lines show unusual behaviour and have anomalously high intensities compared with other transition region lines. The formation of the helium resonance lines is investigated through extensive non-local thermal equilibrium radiative transfer calculations. The model atmospheres of Vernazza, Avrett & Loeser are found to provide reasonable matches to the helium resonance line intensities but significantly overestimate the intensities of other transition region lines. New model atmospheres have been developed from emission measure distributions derived by Macpherson & Jordan, which are consistent with SOHO observations of transition region lines other than those of helium. These models fail to reproduce the observed helium resonance line intensities by significant factors. The possibility that non-Maxwellian electron distributions in the transition region might lead to increased collisional excitation rates in the helium lines is studied. Collisional excitation and ionization rates are recomputed for distribution functions with power-law suprathermal tails that may form by the transport of fast electrons from high-temperature regions. Enhancements of the helium resonance line intensities are found, but many of the predictions of the models regarding line ratios are inconsistent with observations. These results suggest that any such departures from Maxwellian electron distributions are not responsible for the helium resonance line intensities.  相似文献

The topological structure of the coronal-interplanetary magnetic field is determined by the arrangement of the neutral lines at the coronal base. It is characterized by nested separatrices, which are interfaces between closed and open field lines or between oppositely directed open field lines, in the coronal-interplanetary space. In the neighborhoods of these separatrices there are important electric currents. We present new spectroscopic observations of the southern radio galaxy         . Despite the flat-spectrum character of the radio emission from this source, our optical spectra show no sign of the broad permitted lines and non-stellar continuum characteristic of quasar nuclei and broad-line radio galaxies. However, the high-ionization forbidden lines, including [O  iii ] λλ 5007, 4959, are unusually broad for a narrow-line radio galaxy     , and are blueshifted by 600 km s−1 relative to the low-ionization lines such as [O  ii ] λλ 3726,3729. The [O  ii ] lines are also considerably narrower     than the [O  iii ] lines, and have a redshift consistent with that of the recently detected H  i 21-cm absorption-line system. Whereas the kinematics of the [O  iii ] emission lines are consistent with outflow in an inner narrow-line region, the properties of the [O  ii ] emission lines suggest that they are emitted by a more extended and quiescent gaseous component. We argue that, given the radio properties of the source, our line of sight is likely to be lying close to the direction of bulk outflow of the radio jets. In this case it is probable that the quasar nucleus is entirely obscured at optical wavelengths by the material responsible for the H  i absorption-line system. The unusually broad [O  iii ] emission lines suggest that the radio source is intrinsically compact. Overall, our data are consistent the idea that     is a radio source in an early stage of evolution.  相似文献

We carried out spectroscopic observations of the candidate black hole binary GX 339−4 during its low–hard and high–soft X-ray states. We have found that the spectrum is dominated by emission lines of neutral elements with asymmetric, round-topped profiles in the low–hard state. In the high–soft state, however, the emission lines from both neutral and ionized elements have unambiguously resolved double-peaked profiles. The detection of double-peaked emission lines in the high–soft state, with a larger peak separation for higher ionization lines, indicates the presence of an irradiatively heated accretion disc. The round-topped lines in the low–hard state are probably caused by a dense matter outflow from an inflated non-Keplerian accretion disc. Our data do not show velocity modulations of the line centres caused by the orbital motion of the compact object, neither do the line basewidths show substantial variations in each observational epoch. There are no detectable absorption lines from the companion star. All these features are consistent with those of a system with a low-mass companion star and low orbital inclination.  相似文献

The results of a spectral study of the galaxy Kaz 17 are presented. 150 lines are identified in its spectrum, of which 21 are in emission while the rest are absorption lines. These lines belong to the following elements and ions:..... and FeI. Roughly 56% of the absorption lines belong to FeI. Of the absorption lines, 10 belonging to TiI and FeI are isolated. Because of the closeness of their wavelengths, the rest merge and form separate absorption bands. 10 lines, including 8 emission lines, are unidentified in the spectrum of Kaz 17. In all, 160 lines were observed in the spectrum of Kaz 17. In terms of the structure of the emission lines, Kaz 17 can be assigned to type Sy1, and in terms of the absorption lines, it more closely resembles a normal galaxy. __________ Translated from Astrofizika, Vol. 49, No. 4, pp. 541–551 (November 2006).  相似文献
