Submersible pressure hulls with fiber-reinforced multilayer-sandwich constructions have been developed in recent years as substitutes for classical metallic ring-stiffened pressure hulls. This study aims to optimize the design of filament-wound multilayer-sandwich submersible pressure hulls, taking into consideration the shell buckling strength constraint, the angle-ply laminated facing failure strength constraint and the low-density isotropic core yielding strength constraint under hydrostatic pressure using the hybrid genetic algorithm (HGA). The thickness of the facing, the thickness of the core layer, the orientation angle of the fibers in the facings and the shear modulus of the core material are taken as design variables. A sensitivity analysis is performed to study the effects of the operational depths and the hull shell geometry parameter, the length-to-diameter ratio (L/D), on the optimal design of filament-wound multilayer-sandwich submersible pressure hulls with graphite/epoxy, glass/epoxy and boron/epoxy composite facings. The results reveal that the optimal weight of various sandwich pressure hulls increases linearly with the operational depth, but it is almost unchanged as the geometry paramter. Furthermore, Graphite/Epoxy is the best choice for the material of the facings in a light-weight design. With reference to wall design, Boron/Epoxy is the best choice for the material of the facing at shallow depths, but Graphite/Epoxy is the best choice at extreme depths. Results of this study provide a valuable reference for designers of underwater vehicles.  相似文献

The multiple intersecting spheres (MIS) pressure hull is a logical derivative of the single unstiffened sphere, which is frequently used for deep operating, small submersibles because of its attractive low buoyancy factor. This paper investigates the optimum design of an MIS deep-submerged pressure hull subjected to hydrostatic pressure, using a powerful optimization procedure combined the extended interior penalty function method (EIPF) with the Davidon–Fletcher–Powell (DFP) method. In this study, the thickness of the shell, the width of the rib-ring, the inner radius of the rib-ring and the angle of intersection of the spherical shell are selected as design variables, and structural failure and human requirements are considered to minimize the buoyancy factor. Additionally, a sensitivity analysis is performed to study the influence of the design variables on the optimal structural strength design. The results reveal that the shell thickness is most important to lobar buckling strength, and that rib-ring width, rib-ring inner radius and spherical shell intersection angle are most important to rib-ring hoop strength. Optimization results may provide a valuable reference for designers.  相似文献

钢管脐带缆包含多种螺旋缠绕的功能单元,其在外力载荷下会发生相对运动,而且钢管的刚度较大对扭转平衡有重要影响,因此,相对于普通电缆,钢管脐带缆在扭转平衡设计时更加困难。根据扭转平衡理论公式,采用控制变量法,以第二层铠装钢丝的绞合角度为变量进行扭转平衡设计。首先建立脐带缆缆芯有限元模型,对其施加拉伸载荷,结果显示缆芯出现了扭转,这证明不能将脐带缆缆芯视为一实心圆柱。其次建立不同绞合角度的脐带缆有限元模型,设置各功能单元的材料属性和摩擦系数,分析模型在拉伸载荷下的扭转角度,并将相同拉伸载荷下的扭转角度拟合为直线,从而得到钢管脐带缆在扭转平衡状态时的最优绞合角度。最后,采用试验方法对实物钢管脐带缆进行扭转平衡测试,测试结果显示在拉伸载荷下脐带缆单位长度扭转角度十分微小,这表明缆是扭转平衡的。因此验证了使用的有限元方法在钢管脐带缆扭转平衡设计中的有效性。  相似文献

Sandwich pipes (SP), a composite structure consisting of two concentric steel tubes and a polymeric or cement-based core has been proposed to be well-insulated and withstand high installation and operational loads in deepwater oil and gas field. In the paper, the post-buckling responses and pressure capacity of sandwich pipes filled with the solid polypropylene annular were investigated. The degree of the inter-layer adhesion condition between the core layer and the surrounding pipes was modeled by the contact surfaces adopting different maximum shear strength values to allow the relative displacement between the layers. The effects such as inter-layer adhesion interactions, thickness-to-radius ratios, the core thickness, the material parameters, the relative initial ovality directions and the inelastic anisotropy on the collapse pressure of SPs were discussed. More than 2000 finite element (FE) models of the sandwich pipes with practical configurations were constructed and analyzed using the programming language Python within the FE software package ABAQUS. Based on the FE results, a simplified equation was developed and recommended for the collapse pressure calculation of sandwich pipes with the polypropylene annular.  相似文献

In the context of the Venetian Arsenale, the paper explores the difficulties which naval heritage may impose on waterfront revitalisation processes and planning. The rise and decline of this outstanding naval waterfront are outlined and the nature of the heritage legacy is reviewed. State-locality relations are shown to be central to slow regeneration progress to date, but it is demonstrated that revitalisation must overcome additional impediments: neglect and dereliction of the built environment, restoration resource constraints and the severity of the regulatory regime for conservation. Isolation from the city, the adoption of a flexible approach to heritage definition, and the need to assess competing futures are also shown to be relevant challenges. While the Arsenale is considered unique, the conclusion employs the implications of the analysis to propose a research agenda for historic naval waterfronts in general.  相似文献

The paper examines naval waterfront decline, the potential heritage legacy of that decline, and the challenges which that legacy poses for urban and coastal zone planning and management. An initial analysis of decline processes is juxtaposed with exploration of the state's changing role in the abandonment of naval waterfronts. The range of potential heritage resources likely to be released by naval retreat is assessed, and it is shown that this rich endowment frequently extends well beyond the immediate urban waterfront to engage other parts of the cityport and the wider coastal zone. The impressive 20th-century growth of naval ports raises issues concerning heritage definition, but it is also argued that naval heritage of whatever era has the capacity to create an additional and extensive range of planning and management challenges. These extend from building constraints, through aesthetic issues to economic-impact and market considerations. It is on these challenges, which often contrast sharply with commercial waterfront experiences, that the case for naval waterfront research is based.  相似文献

This paper proposes an optimum design medel for the offshore jacket platform considering multi-design criteria,multi-design constraints and the structure-pile-soil interaction,and gives an optimum designprocedure in which the proposed optimum design model is used together with structural analysis softwareSAP91 and optimum algorithm software OPBI.The Chengbei ~#11 offshore platform,which lies in theShengli oil field,is designed by use of the above optimum design model.The results show that the optimumdesign model is stable,and it depends on neither the optimization algorithm nor initial values of design vari-ables.All values of the objective function converge to the same minimum value,and the speed of conver-gence is high,showing that the proposed optimum design model is reasonable.  相似文献

Based on empirical added mass formulation, this work presents a simple procedure to determine the vibration frequencies and mode shapes of submerged cantilever plates. Once the added mass formulation is derived, the procedure can be used to analyze free vibration response easily. An analytical and numerical study is also performed for the vibrations of cantilever plates in air and in water, with these results compared with experimental and numerical data from pertinent literature. Besides, the frequency parameters of the submerged plate for various aspect ratios and thickness ratios are given in design data sheet form and are appropriate for engineering design applications.  相似文献

Traditionally autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) have been built with a torpedo-like shape. This common shaping is hydrodynamically suboptimal for those AUVs required to operate at snorkeling condition near the free surface. In this case, the wave resistance associated to the wavy deformation of the sea surface induced by the motion of the platform is an important component of the drag. This work has investigated the optimum hull shape of an underwater vehicle moving near the free surface. Specifically a first-order Rankine panel method has been implemented to compute the wave resistance on a body of revolution moving close to the free surface. A simulated annealing algorithm was then employed to search those set of parameters defining the hull shape that minimize the wave resistance. The optimization was constrained to keep constant the total volume of the vehicle. The total drag of scaled models of the torpedo-like and resulting optimum shapes was measured in the naval tank of the University of Trieste. Measurements showed a smaller resistance of the optimized shape in the range of the considered Froude numbers.  相似文献

Topographic corrugations such as canyons and ridges cross-cutting the path of a dense plume may effectively steer all or part of the plume downslope. Here, topographically steered flows are investigated experimentally, as laminar, dense gravity currents are observed to impinge on and flow along sloping, V-shaped canyons and ridges. Ridges, as well as canyons, were observed to steer the dense water downslope. A dynamical regime, in which the along-slope transport is balanced by a return flow in the Ekman layer to maintain a geostrophically balanced downslope flow along the corrugation, has been proposed. Results from a previously published analytical model describing such flows are compared with the laboratory experiments. The response of the flow to variations in four governing parameters (slope, rotation, volume flux and reduced gravity) is generally described well by the model and results agree qualitatively, although theory slightly underestimates the dense layer thickness. Vertical velocity profiles resolving the Ekman spiral were obtained using a laser Doppler velocimeter and they showed the secondary, transverse circulation superimposed on the primary, downslope flow. A particle flowing down the canyon/along the ridge can be expected to follow a helix-like path, and dye released within the dense layer showed this. The experiments support the analytical model and the dynamical regime proposed for topographically steered flows. The gravity current split in two when the transport capacity of the corrugation was exceeded; one part continued along the slope and the other flowed downslope along the corrugation.  相似文献

轮印载荷的分布对于直升机甲板加筋板结构的设计至关重要。通过在橡胶块上加压的方式模拟轮印载荷,直接测量橡胶块与加筋板结构之间的接触压力,揭示轮印载荷分布特性,得到轮印载荷在加强筋和铺板之间的分布具有较强的不均匀性。利用ABAQUS软件进行轮印载荷分布的数值计算,结果表明,数值计算结果与试验结果吻合较好,试验工况下分布在加强筋上均布轮印载荷为接触面上均布轮印载荷的1.279倍。研究了加筋板面板初始缺陷、加强筋高度以及加筋板面板厚度对轮印载荷分布的影响。数值结果表明:考虑面板初始缺陷、降低面板厚度和增加加强筋的高度使轮印载荷分配到加强筋上的比例增大,但在相对刚度变化相同的情况下,降低面板厚度和增加加强筋高度对轮印载荷分布的影响不同。  相似文献

从提高锚泊系统收放时效性入手,提出了一种半潜式钻井平台复合式锚泊系统组分配比优化设计方法,旨在尽可能降低复合式锚泊系统的钢链配比长度,提高收放效率。结合锚泊系统设计参数,制定优化设计准则,建立优化分析流程,采用ANSYS-AQWA建立锚泊定位半潜式平台水动力分析模型,获得平台运动参数和锚链动力参数,对平台漂移量、锚链最小安全系数、走锚临界张力、锚链最小卧底长度和起锚力进行无量纲指标分析,并综合考虑张力倾角与预张力对优化结果的影响,获得复合式锚泊系统钢链与钢缆的最优配比关系,确定最优钢链长度为395 m,较原钢链长度缩短225 m,钢链收放时间降低36%,进一步提高锚泊系统收放时效性,并降低平台可变荷载。  相似文献

A new method for platform design, named parametric platform design method (PPDM), is presented in this paper in order to improve the mobile platform design efficiency. In this method, an integrated parametric system that fully considers the characteristics of the platform is developed, which significantly optimizes the design process with the top–bottom design concept. In the parametric system, the main geometric dimensions are taken as parameters, while the topology between the structure members, the function requirements and the safety requirements are converted into geometric constraints. By geometric constraint solving (GCS), a set of parameters that satisfy all the given constraints are determined, and then the design scheme is obtained by several core algorithms, such as parametric tank subdivision, 3D stability calculation, parametric structure design, FEM preprocessing, etc. The parametric method greatly increases the changeability and the reusability of the platform model, and concurrent design is well supported. As the model is driven by parameters, PPDM is an excellent method for optimization design. As a result, PPDM has incomparable advantages on the design efficiency over traditional methods.  相似文献

在薄片炸药冲击试验中,所产生的均布流场压力会对波纹板防爆墙造成中拱效果,但该作用机理尚未明确。在该试验的比较基础上,通过流固耦合法对薄片炸药所产生的流场压力变化开展研究。在分析波纹面板及空气的压力分布变化后,发现并揭示了波纹面板上出现第二次压力峰值和自由边压力耗散现象的机理。在此基础上定量分析了薄片炸药量和槽型深度对流场压力和波纹面板变形的变化规律。研究发现,随着炸药量增加,二次压力峰值将使波纹面板中拱现象愈加明显,而槽型深度会加大压力峰值。文中机理和定量分析可为海洋平台防爆结构的设计分析提供补充参考。  相似文献

低渗透油藏储层物性较差,通常油层在酸化压裂等工艺技术措施下,才可产出工业油流,对低渗透油藏有效储层进行测井解释较为困难。从冷家堡油田冷46区块的油藏特征出发,建立了一套有效厚度下限标准研究方法。为检测油层有效厚度划分精度,在取心井中选取5口井进行岩心厚度与测井厚度对比,层划准率达100%。并据此标准划分39口单井有效厚度,有效地保证油层射孔,为注水开发提供可靠的依据。  相似文献
