大量研究表明,蓝离散星的形成可能有多种机制,目前比较流行的形成机制可以概括为以下几类:密近双星系统的质量传输及双星并合、密集星场的恒星碰撞,以及包含双星系统的恒星间 (双星-单星、双星-双星)相互作用导致的恒星并合。与此同时,蓝离散星在各类恒星系统中的普遍存在,也使得研究这类恒星的形成及演化成为追踪恒星系统动力学演化、化学演化及积分光谱性质变化的有效指针。  相似文献

Considering features of stellar spectral radiation and sky surveys, we established a computational model for stellar effective temperatures, detected angular parameters and gray rates. Using known stellar flux data in some bands, we estimated stellar effective temperatures and detected angular parameters using stochastic particle swarm optimization(SPSO). We first verified the reliability of SPSO, and then determined reasonable parameters that produced highly accurate estimates under certain gray deviation levels.Finally, we calculated 177 860 stellar effective temperatures and detected angular parameters using data from the Midcourse Space Experiment(MSX) catalog. These derived stellar effective temperatures were accurate when we compared them to known values from literatures. This research makes full use of catalog data and presents an original technique for studying stellar characteristics. It proposes a novel method for calculating stellar effective temperatures and detecting angular parameters, and provides theoretical and practical data for finding information about radiation in any band.  相似文献

In order to obtain the internal structure of a main-sequence star such as the Sun usually one has to solve the detailed structure equations numerically. This paper is an attempt to construct analytic models for the stellar nuclear energy generation. We give closed-form analytic results for the stellar luminosity and stellar neutrino emission rate when the radial matter density of the spherical star under consideration is linear. For the numerical estimation of the neutrino flux of a specified stellar nuclear reaction we take into account parameters of the standard solar model. The present paper gives for the first time the connection between stellar structure parameters and neutrino fluxes in an analytic stellar model.  相似文献

Along with the considerations of the effect of constraint of gravitation on the matter loss of stellar wind and the disturbances of the radiation pressure and turbulent pressure on it, by introducing the mechanism of compressible flow, the effect of promotion of the convective region in stellar outer shell on the matter loss of stellar wind is investigated. Hence a new formula of matter loss of stellar wind is established. After this and via the computation of the rate of mass loss of stellar wind in the theoretical model of 3∼5M? stars, the following is revealed. From the main sequence up to the stage of termination of central helium-core burning, the rate of mass loss of stellar wind calculated with the new formula agrees almost completely with that given by the classical formula. But in the TP-AGB stage the stellar model calculated with the new formula of mass loss of stellar wind is not affected by luminosity and gives rise to the persistent and large matter loss of stellar wind. This rather well agrees with the results of actual observations.  相似文献

We have investigated the stellar population properties in the central regions of a sample of lenticular galaxies with bars and single-exponential outer stellar disks using the data from the SAURON integral-field spectrograph retrieved from the open Isaac Newton Group Archive. We have detected chemically decoupled compact stellar nuclei with a metallicity twice that of the stellar population in the bulges in seven of the eight galaxies. A starburst is currently going on at the center of the eighth galaxy and we have failed to determine the stellar population properties from its spectrum. The mean stellar ages in the chemically decoupled nuclei found range from 1 to 11 Gyr. The scenarios for the origin of both decoupled nuclei and lenticular galaxies as a whole are discussed.  相似文献

In this study, I attempt to apply for a new statistical method and investigate the environmental dependence of stellar mass and stellar velocity dispersion in the CMASS sample of the Sloan Digital Sky Survey Data Release 9 (SDSS DR9). I divide the CMASS sample with redshifts 0.44 ≤ z ≤ 0.59 into many subsamples with a redshift binning size of Δz = 0.01, and analyze the environmental dependence of stellar mass and stellar velocity dispersion of subsamples in each redshift bin. I examine the effectiveness of Kozai oscillations in the centres of galaxies and in particular the Galactic Centre (GC) using standard techniques from celestial mechanics. In particular, I study the effects of a stellar bulge potential and general relativity on Kozai oscillations, which are induced by stellar discs. Löckmann et al. recently suggested that Kozai oscillations induced by the two young massive stellar discs in the GC drive the orbits of the young stars to large eccentricity  ( e ≈ 1)  . If some of these young eccentric stars are in binaries, they would be disrupted near pericentre, leaving one star in a tight orbit around the central supermassive black hole and producing the S-star population. I find that the spherical stellar bulge suppresses Kozai oscillations, when its enclosed mass inside a test body is of the order of the mass in the stellar disc(s). Since the stellar bulge in the GC is much larger than the stellar discs, Kozai oscillations due to the stellar discs are likely suppressed. Whether Kozai oscillations are induced from other non-spherical components to the potential (e.g. a flattened stellar bulge) is yet to be determined.  相似文献

Radio emission from extrasolar giant planets in close orbits around their host star is an active field of research, including both observational efforts and theoretical work aiming at reasonable predictions for different target planets. So far, most theoretical work assumed a distance-independent, constant stellar wind velocity. This approach is improved and expanded in two respects: first, from stellar wind models, it is known that at close distances the stellar wind is still slow and has not yet reached the velocity it has at larger distances. For this reason, less energy is available for the generation of planetary radio emission than predicted by simplified models. This correspondingly reduces the intensity of stellar wind-driven planetary radio emission, which is calculated taking into account the stellar age. Second, it can be shown that under certain conditions the steady stellar wind has to be replaced by stellar coronal mass ejections. In those cases, the planetary radio flux is strongly increased. The different flux levels expected for planets subject to different stellar wind conditions are analyzed and compared. In addition, different uncertainties in this radio flux estimation are calculated and discussed.  相似文献

Stellar population models are a very useful tool to derive the stellar cluster age and luminosity mass from its integrated light. Evolutionary synthesis models depend on the stellar evolutionary tracks and the stellar libraries used to predict the spectral energy distribution of the stellar populations. In this review, I briefly comment on the new models that have incorporated the new evolutionary tracks with rotation and new computations for the evolutionary tracks of the TP-AGB. A more extended summary is also given of the current status of the most recent high-resolution stellar libraries at optical wavelengths and their implementation in evolutionary synthesis models. A comparison of the results obtained fitting the optical spectra of LMC and SMC stellar clusters with different high spectral resolution evolutionary synthesis models is also presented.  相似文献

Star‐disc coupling is considered in numerical models where the stellar field is not an imposed perfect dipole, but instead a more irregular self‐adjusting dynamo‐generated field. Using axisymmetric simulations of the hydromagnetic mean‐field equations, it is shown that the resulting stellar field configuration is more complex, but significantly better suited for driving a stellar wind. In agreement with recent findings by a number of people, star‐disc coupling is less efficient in braking the star than previously thought. Moreover, stellar wind braking becomes equally important. In contrast to a perfect stellar dipole field, dynamo‐generated stellar fields favor field‐aligned accretion with considerably higher velocity at low latitudes, where the field is weaker and originating in the disc. In this work, I examine the environmental dependence of galaxy age, stellar velocity dispersion and stellar mass in the LOWZ sample of the Sloan Digital Sky Survey Data Release 10 (SDSS DR10). I measure the projected local density Σ5, divide the LOWZ sample into subsamples with a redshift binning size of Δz = 0.02 and analyze the environmental dependence of galaxy age, stellar velocity dispersion and stellar mass in each redshift bin. It is found that galaxy age, stellar velocity dispersion and stellar mass in the LOWZ galaxy sample are very weakly correlatedwith the local environment, like the one in theCMASS galaxy sample does.  相似文献

Via a study of the evolutionary tracks of 3∼10 M stars on the Hertzsprung-Russell diagram, the variations of the energy, density, temperature at the peak of helium-shell burning, ratio of surface luminosity of helium shell to stellar surface luminosity as well as the stellar radius are analyzed. Then the demarcation point of medium-mass stars in the evolution from early AGB stars to thermally pulsing AGB stars on the HR diagram is determined, and for 119 carbon stars our analysis agrees rather well with observation. At the same time the following is suggested. After arriving at this demarcation point in stellar evolution, in the formula of the loss of stellar wind material it is probably needed to introduce a quantity which is not concerned with the surface luminosity, but it dominates the formation of super stellar wind. On this basis and via the analysis of the structure and evolution of 5 M stars as well as the rate of mass loss of stellar wind, it is found that the effect of turbulent pressure on the mass loss of stellar wind in the stage of thermally pulsing AGB stars is rather great, hence the turbulent pressure of thermally pulsing AGB stars cannot be overlooked. Furthermore, the physical factors which possibly affect the matter loss of the stellar winds of thermally pulsing AGB stars are suggested.  相似文献

Using multi-band photometric images of M51 and its companion NGC 5195 from ultraviolet to optical and infrared,we investigate spatially resolved stellar population properties of this interacting system with stellar population synthesis models.The observed infrared excess(IRX)is used to constrain dust extinction.Stellar mass is also inferred from the model fitting.By fitting observed spectral energy distributions(SEDs)with synthetical ones,we derive two-dimensional distributions of stellar age,metallicity,dust extinction and stellar mass.In M51,two grand-designed spiral arms extending from the bulge show young age,rich metallicity and abundant dust.The inter-arm regions are filled with older,metalpoorer and less dusty stellar populations.Except for the spiral arm extending from M51 into NGC 5195,the stellar population properties of NGC 5195 are quite featureless.NGC 5195 is much older than M51,and its core is very dusty with AV up to 1.67 mag and dense in stellar mass surface density.The close encounters might drive the dust in the spiral arm of M51 into the center of NGC 5195.  相似文献

Primitive meteorites contain microscopic pre-solar stardust grains that originated from stellar outflows and supernova ejecta. Identified phases include nano-diamond, graphite, silicon carbide, corundum, spinel, hibonite, nitride, and silicates. Their stellar origin was manifested by their enormous isotopic ratio variations compared to solar system materials. They are solid samples from various stellar sources, including red giant stars, AGB stars, novae, and supernovae. Laboratory isotopic analyses of these grains provide unique insights into stellar evolution, nucleosynthesis and mixing processes, dust formation in stellar envelopes, and galactic chemical evolution. Pre-solar grains open a new observational window for astrophysical researches.  相似文献

We summarize the main results from MODEST-1, the first workshop on MOdeling DEnse STellar systems. Our goal is to go beyond traditional population synthesis models, by introducing dynamical interactions between single stars, binaries, and multiple systems. The challenge is to define and develop a software framework to enable us to combine in one simulation existing computer codes in stellar evolution, stellar dynamics, and stellar hydrodynamics. With this objective, the workshop brought together experts in these three fields, as well as other interested astrophysicists and computer scientists. We report here our main conclusions, questions and suggestions for further steps toward integrating stellar evolution and stellar (hydro)dynamics.  相似文献

This paper investigates the uncertainties in the synthetic integrated colours of simple stellar populations, currently the most popular method of estimating the ages of unresolved stellar systems. Three types of uncertainties studied here originate from the stellar models, the population synthesis techniques, and from the stellar spectral libraries. Despite some skepticism, synthetic colours appear to be reliable age indicators as long as they are used for select age ranges. The spatial distribution of pulsars and stellar associations in the solar neighborhood is investigated on the basis of recent data. The distribution of young pulsars and stellar associations indicates fragments of the spiral structure of the galaxy. The similar spatial distributions of young pulsars and stellar associations can be considered as confirmation of the hypothesis that pulsars originate in stellar associations.
