Effects of vertical seismic acceleration on 3D slope stability   总被引:1,自引:1,他引:0  
The conventional pseudo-static approach often neglects the effect of the vertical seismic acceleration on the stability of a slope, but some analyses under plane-strain (2D) conditions show a significant effect on the slope stability. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of the vertical acceleration on the safety of three-dimensional (3D) slopes. In the strict framework of limit analysis, a 3D kinematically admissible rotational failure mechanism is adopted here for 3D homogeneous slopes in frictional/cohesive soils. A set of stability charts is presented in a wide range of parameters for 3D slopes under combined horizontal and vertical seismic loading conditions. Accounting for the effects of the vertical seismic acceleration, the difference in safety factors for 3D slopes can exceed 10%, which will significantly overestimate the safety of the 3D slopes.  相似文献

传统的拟静力法和安全系数时程分析法在评价边坡地震稳定性时存在一定的局限性。在提出准确的评价边坡地震稳定性必需因素的基础上,建议对边坡地震稳定性分析方法重新进行分类。根据动力分析得到的边坡在地震作用下的破坏机制和破裂面的性质和位置,提出基于拉-剪破坏的动力时程分析法和强度折减动力分析法。第一种方法将FLAC计算得到破坏时刻的动应力施加到静力情况下边坡上,采用动力分析得到的拉-剪破裂面,结合极限平衡法求解边坡地震安全系数,是一种改进的动力有限元时程分析法;第二种方法考虑了拉-剪破坏的FLAC强度折减动力分析法,是完全动力的方法。最后通过算例分析验证了新方法的可行性,为边坡地震安全系数计算提供了一种新的思路。  相似文献

Seismic stability analysis of fractured rock slopes by yield design theory   总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4  
This paper deals with the problem of stability of fractured rock slope located in seismic area. The rock mass is crossed by two sets of fractures which are considered to be planar, parallel and persistent. The effects of both horizontal seismic coefficient and strength characteristics of fractures are addressed. The analysis is based upon the kinematic approach of the yield design theory and the pseudo-static method as well. The fundamental inequality of the kinematic approach is invoked and the failure of the fractured rock slope is considered through simple translational mechanism involving a one-partsliding block. Rigorous upper bounds of the so-called stability factor for the structure under study of given slope angle, strength properties of constituent materials and seismic loads are obtained. The results are presented in the form of stability charts relating the estimated upper bound solutions to the friction angle of fractures.The used procedure highlights the destabilizing effects of the seismic loadings and is capable of conducting parametric studies. Furthermore, the results obtained far from various sets of data show good performance and further research work is planed to extend the analysis to include a large number of sub-problems.  相似文献

In this paper, the seismic stability of slopes reinforced with geosynthetics is analysed within the framework of the pseudo-static approach. Calculations are conducted by applying the kinematic theorem of limit analysis. Different failure modes are considered, and for each analytical expressions are derived that enable one to readily calculate the reinforcement force required to prevent failure and the yield acceleration of slopes subjected to earthquake loading. Several results are presented in order to illustrate the influence of seismic forces on slope stability. Moreover, a suitable procedure based on the assessment of earthquake-induced permanent displacement is proposed for the design of reinforced slopes in seismically active areas.  相似文献

地震力作用下土质边坡动态稳定性研究对实际边坡工程有着重要的意义。采用拟动力法结合简化毕肖普法研究坡顶抗滑桩加固土质边坡在地震力作用下的动态稳定性。尽管拟静力法是目前处理地震力最为广泛的方法之一,但其局限性在于无法考虑地震力随时间变化且忽略了地震波在土体中的传播。而拟动力法采用正弦波模拟地震波在土中传播,并考虑地震波从坡脚传递到坡顶的相位差以及阻尼力对边坡稳定性的影响,通过边坡安全系数的变化揭示土质边坡在地震力作用下的稳定性变化规律。将得到的结果与拟静力法进行对比,突出了拟动力法的优势。最后,考虑水平地震加速度系数、加速度幅值放大系数以及土体内摩擦角对边坡稳定性的影响,以期对实际工程提供理论借鉴。  相似文献

裂缝常存在于边坡表面,地震作用会大幅降低裂缝边坡稳定性。针对双层土裂缝边坡稳定性问题,定义上下土层分界处高度与边坡高度之比为深度系数以描述双层土的分布,基于极限分析上限定理,构建“点到点”离散运动学机构,并在此机构中引入一条垂直张拉裂缝,结合拟静力法和强度折减法建立能量平衡方程求解裂缝边坡临界高度和安全系数上限解。计算结果与传统上限法进行对比,验证离散运动学机构的有效性及其解的优越性,同时探究土体非均质性及深度系数对裂缝边坡稳定性以及裂缝深度和位置的影响规律。结果表明,地震作用会降低边坡稳定性;随着地震力增大,边坡临界滑动面逐渐加深,裂缝深度略微增大,裂缝位置逐渐远离坡面;对于具体的双层土边坡会存在一个特定的深度系数使边坡安全系数达到最值,同时裂缝会穿越至下层土且深度发生突增。  相似文献

Three-dimensional (3D) limit analysis of seismic stability of slopes reinforced with one row of piles is presented in this paper. A 3D rotational mechanism for earth slope is adopted. The lateral forces provided by the piles are evaluated by the theory of plastic deformation. Expressions for calculating the yield acceleration coefficient are derived. A random iteration method is employed to find the critical acceleration coefficient for the 3D slopes with or without reinforcement. Based on the kinematic theory within the frame of the pseudo-static approach, a 3D model is proposed for evaluating the critical state and the subsequent displacement response. Furthermore, Newmark׳s analytical procedure is employed to estimate the cumulative displacement induced by given earthquake loads. An example is shown to illustrate the influence of the piles on the seismic displacement of the 3D slopes.  相似文献

A one-dimensional deterministic slope stability model (infinite slope model) was used to calculate average safety factors and failure probabilities for the city of Manizales, in central Colombia. An engineering geological data base has been created on the basis of a series of parameter maps (geology, geomorphology, Digital terrain models and slope classes), using logic reasoning in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). A two-dimensional hydrological model was applied to estimate groundwater levels in relation to rainfall events. A simple method for the calculation of horizontal seismic acceleration was used for different earthquake events. To calculate average safety factors a number of scenarios were developed, by combining the effects of groundwater and seismic acceleration with different return periods. A simple method for error propagation was used to calculate the variance of the safety factor, and the probability that it will be less than 1, for each pixel, within a time period of 20 years. The highest probability value of the various scenarios was selected for each pixel, and a final hazard map for translational landslides was constructed. The results presented here are a first approach towards a deterministic landslide hazard analysis using GIS. It has a number of drawbacks, which should be solved in future work.  相似文献

地震作用过程中地震加速度通常呈先增大后减小的特征。利用拟静力法对危岩的稳定性进行分析时,考虑地震过程中地震加速度的变化,对山西太原天龙山危岩体加固工程中的同一危岩体分别以滑塌式和倾倒式破坏模式进行计算,发现地震作用过程中危岩体可能在两种破坏失稳模式之间相互转化。将此问题扩展至一般情况进行计算并讨论,得出如下结论:地震力对危岩体破坏作用的贡献大小不同,通常情况下,地震作用力对危岩的倾覆力矩贡献相对较大;进行稳定性评价时应考虑地震作用过程,以安全系数最先达到1.0的破坏模式作为危岩体的可能破坏模式进行计算;对危岩体进行抗震加固设计时应对加固设计进行多种工况下的校核,保证其在地震作用过程中不同危险状态的稳定性。  相似文献

以往对平面破坏模式的岩质边坡稳定性评价,主要关注潜在滑坡体在自重、坡体内静水压力和地震荷载耦合作用下沿破坏面的抗滑稳定性,并未涉及各类外荷载作用线不通过潜在滑体重心而引起的绕坡趾倾覆稳定性。针对这一问题,提出地震与张裂缝水压耦合作用下的岩质边坡倾覆稳定性解析方法,基于力矩平衡原理推导出岩质边坡抗倾覆稳定性系数的一般表达式;通过深入的变动参数比较研究,探讨张裂缝水压和地震荷载对抗倾覆安全系数的影响,认为水压是控制岩质边坡倾覆破坏的决定性因素,而地震荷载处于次要因素,其在一定程度上增加或减小抗倾覆稳定性。在此基础上建立不同参数组合下的岩质边坡抗倾覆稳定图,为工程技术人员快速评估饱水岩质边坡地震倾覆稳定性提供直接依据。  相似文献

In this paper the stability of a tied-back wall subjected to seismic loads is analysed for a predetermined mode of failure (rotation about the top of the wall) and the analysis is compared with data from tests on this type of wall using the seismic simulator at the State University of New York at Buffalo. We carried out a pseudo-static analysis of the problem using the Mononobe-Okabe earth pressure coefficients, wherein the dynamic effects due to the seismic loading are converted into equivalent static loads. The acceleration ratio at which the wall fails by rotation about the top was obtained by considering the moments due to the various lateral earth pressure resultants and the inertial forces induced in the soil due to the seismic loading. We found that the presence of wall friction on the passive side significantly enhances the stability of the flexible retaining wall under seismic loads. Thus, flexible retaining walls supporting dry cohesionless soil can be very efficient during earthquakes. Under moderate earthquakes, an increase in the depth of embedment increases the dynamic factor of safety significantly. However, beyond a certain acceleration ratio for a soil with a particular value of ø, any increase in the depth of emdedment has no effect in impeding failure, irrespective of any change in the geometry of the system. Seismic design charts are presented to evaluate the stability of, and to design, flexible retaining walls embedded in dry cohesionless soils under seismic loading.  相似文献

This note presents an analytical solution of the thrust on retaining walls with short heel, where the seismic action is simulated through the pseudo-static approach. The critical shape of the thrust wedge is assumed to be that minimizing the safety factor against wall sliding. This procedure is also congruent with the original method of Coulomb. The problem is mathematically expressed by a system of two equations, the first cubic and the second quadratic, whose solution converges quickly.  相似文献

基于大型有限元软件ABAQUS中的荷载模块,添加一阶波浪力载荷模式,并结合强度折减技术,实现波浪力作用下海底斜坡稳定性与失稳机制的弹塑性有限元数值分析。引入典型算例,利用先前提出的波浪荷载下海底斜坡稳定性的极限分析上限方法开展数值解的对比验证;在此基础上,通过深入地变动参数比较分析,探讨不同波长、波高和水深等波浪参数对计算结果的影响以及波浪力影响下海底斜坡潜在滑动面的变化规律,获得波浪荷载下海底斜坡失稳滑动机制的初步认识。  相似文献

土石坝的拟静力计算与温控参数折减有限元法相结合,对土石坝边坡稳定性进行有限元计算与分析。按《水工建筑物抗震设计规范》(SL203-97)的规定,依据坝高动态分布系数施加水平等效地震惯性力,然后用温控参数折减有限元法确定土石坝边坡的临界失稳状态及其所对应的安全系数。结果表明:采用此法进行拟静力土石坝边坡稳定分析与传统的Bishop法相比,计算结果相一致,且可以反映土石坝的应力、应变和整个边坡破坏发展过程。  相似文献

Newmark永久位移是评价边坡在地震时稳定性的一个重要指标,近年来广泛应用于地震边坡危险性评价中。传统Newmark永久位移法在计算临界加速度时假定其为常数,未考虑滑动面上抗剪强度参数的变化,过低估计了边坡的永久位移。为了解决这一问题,本文从岩土结构理论获得思路,详细分析滑块底面抗剪强度参数在地震中的变化过程,以边坡震动过程中黏聚力逐步丧失为基本思路,在黏聚力符合一定概率分布的基础上,提出了一种利用蒙特卡罗法模拟其动态减小过程从而实现临界加速度动态变化的计算方法。经过算例计算,黏聚力和临界加速度体现了地震过程中边坡滑块黏聚力和临界加速度的动态变化,位移大小符合地震边坡实际位移的常规数值。本文提出的蒙特卡罗法实现动态黏聚力和动态临界加速度的计算过程与地震时程相对应,不仅在一定程度上解决了抗剪强度参数的动态变化问题,还解决了传统Newmark位移计算中永久位移比实际位移偏小的问题。  相似文献

An attempt has been made to study the behavior of nailed vertical excavations in medium dense to dense cohesionless soil under seismic conditions using a pseudo-dynamic approach. The effect of several parameters such as angle of internal friction of soil(Φ), horizontal(k_h) and vertical(k_v) earthquake acceleration coefficients, amplification factor(f_a), length of nails(L), angle of nail inclination(α) and vertical spacing of nails(S_v) on the stability of nailed vertical excavations has been explored. The limit equilibrium method along with a planar failure surface is used to derive the formulation involved with the pseudo-dynamic approach, considering axial pullout of the installed nails. A comparison of the pseudo-static and pseudo-dynamic approaches has been established in order to explore the effectiveness of the pseudo-dynamic approach over pseudo-static analysis, since most of the seismic stability studies on nailed vertical excavations are based on the latter. The results are expressed in terms of the global factor of safety(FOS). Seismic stability, i.e., the FOS of nailed vertical excavations is found to decrease with increase in the horizontal and vertical earthquake forces. The present values of FOS are compared with those available in the literature.  相似文献

将拟动力法基本原理与极限平衡法中的严格条分法(Sarma法)相结合,推导边坡地震力和安全系数的计算公式;在此基础上,基于Python语言开发相应的计算程序,实现一种考虑波动效应的、适用于任意滑面形状和任意滑块条分的拟动力地震边坡稳定性分析新方法;同时,探讨地震动特性和结构面强度对边坡地震稳定性的影响。研究表明:随着地震波初始相位的变化,边坡的安全系数呈现周期性的波动变化,且存在最小安全系数;边坡安全系数随着地震动幅值和地震波波长/坡高比的增大而减小;当滑块结构面抗剪强度参数下降时,边坡安全系数随之减小。此外,通过波动理论揭示拟静力法与拟动力法的区别与联系:当地震波波长与坡高比大于10时,两种方法的结果基本一致;当地震波波长与坡高比小于10时,拟静力法所得结果比拟动力法保守,拟动力法更合理。  相似文献

以人工合成的多点、多向地震加速度时程作为地震动输入,基于Bishop条分法推导了地震边坡稳定安全系数的表达公式。在此基础上,针对某一具体算例,分析了不同地震峰值加速度下的不同坡高边坡稳定安全系数的变化规律,并与单点、单向地震动输入的结果进行了对比。结果表明,对于本文给出的算例,在坡高与地震峰值加速度都相同的条件下,多点、多向地震作用下的边坡安全系数要大于单点、单向作用下的安全系数;当坡高小于30 m、地震峰值加速度小于0.1 g时,多点、多向地震动作用下的边坡安全系数与单点、单向相差不大;当坡高大于30 m、地震峰值加速度大于0.1 g时,多点、多向地震动作用下的边坡安全系数相对单点、单向要小36%以上,此时边坡稳定性评价必须考虑地震动的多点、多向特性。  相似文献

在综述国内核电厂高边坡案例研究进展的基础上,以某核电厂含泥化夹层顺层软岩高边坡为例,探讨应用多种方法综合分析其在地震作用下的动态放大效应、抗震性能和加固效果的分析思路。首先,基于典型二维计算剖面,采用拟静力法对边坡进行初步加固设计;然后,基于振动台试验和数值计算,研究边坡动态放大效应、支挡结构的动力响应和抗震性能,探讨边坡抗震参数优化取值。研究结果表明:(1)原位边坡坡面的加速度放大系数随高度增加而增大,且泥化夹层饱水后的放大系数要大于饱水前,水平向最大值为1.90;(2)加固后边坡动态放大系数显著降低,水平最大放大系数为1.31,垂直向基本为1.0,锚索抗滑桩以下边坡基本不存在放大效应,说明软岩高边坡采用锚索抗滑桩和锚索框架抗震性能较好;(3)PGA=0.21g时,边坡整体抗震性能较好,仅最顶部锚杆和中部锚索受力超过设计锚固力,分别超过设计值的20%和5%,适当加强即可;(4)数值计算得到的加速度放大系数分布规律与振动台试验结果较为一致,且两者得到的坡顶加速度放大系数也十分接近。研究成果可为核电厂软岩高陡边坡抗震安全评价和工程设计提供技术支持。  相似文献

The effects of earthquake induced pore pressure on seismic and post seismic stability conditions of cohesionless slopes are investigated with reference to the infinite slope scheme. In cohesionless slopes the shear strength reduction caused by pore pressure build-up may lead the slope to a deformation failure or to a flow failure if liquefaction conditions are approached. Two critical values of the seismic induced pore pressure ratio are introduced to evaluate the effect of shear strength reduction on the slope failure mechanism. The results are given in the form of stability charts and a procedure for the evaluation of the seismic stability condition is described. The procedure gives useful information about the failure mechanism that slopes may exhibit and the displacement analysis which should be carried out.  相似文献
