通过对乾陵地震台部分地磁记录图纸的数字化识别,将Z和H分量的识别结果、原始量图值、识别前的人工量图值三者之间进行了对比分析,发现数字化识别结果与人工量图结果的平均误差小于0.6mm,据此认为,数字化识别结果基本可满足地磁历史数据的分析需要。  相似文献

A joint Discussion Meeting of the Royal Astronomical Society and the Royal Irish Academy, held on January 11th, 1991, commemorated the establishment of some early magnetic observatories, discussed recent research using global geomagnetic data and described the present status of magnetic observatories in the United Kingdom. The observatory and instruments at the Dublin magnetic observatory; the origins of the Greenwich magnetic observatory, and why it eventually had to be resited; and the history of the Munich magnetic observatory formed the historical part of the proceedings. Current research topics discussed were the geomagnetic secular variation and deep Earth structure and dynamics; fluid flow patterns near the top of the core; the origin of the annual variation of the geomagnetic field; results of an analysis of monthly means from some British observatories; a new theory of the geomagnetic daily variation; and the interactions between ionospheric science and geomagnetism. The present-day observatory scene was described in terms of the information that can be derived from the almost 40 year series of data from Hartland magnetic observatory; of the methods used to process data from the three UK magnetic observatories, which nowadays are operated automatically and remotely; and (a look into the future) of a new project, INTERMAGNET, which aims to make available, in near real time, data from the world-wide network of magnetic observatories.  相似文献

在距离数据缺失台站一定范围内选取参考台作为输入,构建非线性BP神经网络并进行地磁观测数据重构研究.数据仿真结果显示,重构数据和原始记录数据吻合程度较高,重构残差较小,磁静日重构平均残差仅为0.11 nT,磁扰日平均重构残差为0.23 nT.重点对磁场活动最剧烈时段内的数据进行了短时重构,平均残差由0.4 nT降低到0.2 nT,重构效果得到较大改进.计算了原始数据与重构数据的功率谱密度,除部分高频信号外,二者变化特征基本相同,相关性高达1.0.从时域和频域验证了BP神经网络在地磁相对记录数据重构上的有效性,并将其运用于实际缺失数据重构,取得较好效果.  相似文献

针对多套三轴磁通门传感器在同一观测环境下,日变化观测曲线不是完全重合,存在观测数据的不一致性问题,通过理论计算和地磁台站测试实验,分析仪器的定向、底座水平与地磁各分量观测数据之间的变化规律并给出其定量关系.实验结果表明:若存在定向误差角α,则表现为D分量的观测曲线中包含了一定比例的H分量;在水平面内,若存在磁传感器以H分量为轴在ZOD平面内的旋转夹角φ,则表现为D分量的观测曲线中包含了一定比例的Z分量;若存在磁传感器以D分量为轴在ZOH平面内的旋转夹角θ,则表现为H和Z两分量的记录数据中分别包含了一定比例的对方分量成分.   相似文献

The period of interplanetary, geomagnetic and solar disturbances of September 7–15, 2005, is characterized by two sharp increases of solar wind velocity to 1000 km/s and great Dst variation of the geomagnetic field (~140 nT). The time variations of theoretical and experimental geomagnetic thresholds observed during this strong geomagnetic storm, their connection with solar wind parameters and the Dst index, and the features of latitudinal behavior of geomagnetic thresholds at particular times of the storm were studied. The theoretical geomagnetic thresholds were calculated with cosmic ray particle tracing in the magnetic field of the disturbed magnetosphere described by Ts01 model. The experimental geomagnetic thresholds were specified by spectrographic global survey according to the data of cosmic ray registration by the global station network.  相似文献

We investigate the features of the planetary distribution of wave phenomena (geomagnetic pulsations) in the Earth’s magnetic shell (the magnetosphere) during a strong geomagnetic storm on December 14–15, 2006, which is untypical of the minimum phase of solar activity. The storm was caused by the approach of the interplanetary magnetic cloud towards the Earth’s magnetosphere. The study is based on the analysis of 1-min data of global digital geomagnetic observations at a few latitudinal profiles of the global network of ground-based magnetic stations. The analysis is focused on the Pc5 geomagnetic pulsations, whose frequencies fall in the band of 1.5–7 mHz (T ~ 2–10 min), on the fluctuations in the interplanetary magnetic field (IMF) and in the solar wind density in this frequency band. It is shown that during the initial phase of the storm with positive IMF Bz, most intense geomagnetic pulsations were recorded in the dayside polar regions. It was supposed that these pulsations could probably be caused by the injection of the fluctuating streams of solar wind into the Earth’s ionosphere in the dayside polar cusp region. The fluctuations arising in the ionospheric electric currents due to this process are recorded as the geomagnetic pulsations by the ground-based magnetometers. Under negative IMF Bz, substorms develop in the nightside magnetosphere, and the enhancement of geomagnetic pulsations was observed in this latitudinal region on the Earth’s surface. The generation of these pulsations is probably caused by the fluctuations in the field-aligned magnetospheric electric currents flowing along the geomagnetic field lines from the substorm source region. These geomagnetic pulsations are not related to the fluctuations in the interplanetary medium. During the main phase of the magnetic storm, when fluctuations in the interplanetary medium are almost absent, the most intense geomagnetic pulsations were observed in the dawn sector in the region corresponding to the closed magnetosphere. The generation of these pulsations is likely to be associated with the resonance of the geomagnetic field lines. Thus, it is shown that the Pc5 pulsations observed on the ground during the magnetic storm have a different origin and a different planetary distribution.  相似文献

The technique for determining the spatial location of the polar cap, auroral oval, and subauroral zone of the high-latitude space, based on the geomagnetic data from the Greenland chain of magnetic stations, is proposed. The belonging of a specific station to one of the zones is determined based on the results of operation of a self-learning classification artificial neural network of a Kohonen-layer type. The amplitude-frequency spectra and the matrices of wavelet coefficients for analyzing data from the magnetic observation network are the input calculation parameters.  相似文献

A local approximation method based on piecewise sinusoidal models has been proposed in order to study the frequency and amplitude characteristics of geomagnetic pulsations registered at a network of magnetic observatories. It has been established that synchronous variations in the geomagnetic pulsation frequency in the specified frequency band can be studied with the use of calculations performed according to this method. The method was used to analyze the spectral–time structure of Pc3 geomagnetic pulsations registered at the network of equatorial observatories. Local approximation variants have been formed for single-channel and multichannel cases of estimating the geomagnetic pulsation frequency and amplitude, which made it possible to decrease estimation errors via filtering with moving weighted averaging.  相似文献

为了研究磁场活动水平对地磁重构数据的影响,以云南省内11个地磁台站地磁记录分数据为研究对象,利用空间加权法进行数据重构,并分析Dst指数与重构数据精度之间的关系。结果表明,Dst指数绝对值与地磁数据重构精度呈明显负相关,即Dst指数绝对值越大,数据重构精度越低。当D_(st)-30时,D分量重构数据与原始数据的绝对残差值小于0.05′的比例为97.1%, H、Z分量重构数据与原始数据的绝对残差值小于0.5 nT的比例分别为97.1%、97.9%,重构精度较高。当弱磁暴、中等磁暴发生时,D、H、Z三分量重构数据与原始数据的绝对残差值随Dst指数绝对值的增大而增大,重构精度减小。本研究成果可为因观测异常或记录缺失的地磁数据重构提供参考。  相似文献

为探讨水库地区的构造磁效应,在密云水库周围布设了221个测点,测点间距为2——5km,测点离水库堤岸的距离为几十米至15km不等,使用G-816型与G-826型质子旋进磁力仪,在1983——1987年期间,每季度观测一次地磁场总强度.地磁与密云水库蓄水的资料分析得到,地磁变化与水库的水位变化、水容量变化的关系系数分别为-(0.280.22)nT/m与-(0.350.31)10-8nT/m3,表明地磁变化与该水库蓄水变化有着较强的负相关.这种较强的负相关可能是密云水库地区地下较强磁性岩石的压磁效应的反映.由于水库构造磁实验是地震磁现象的较好模拟,因此,根据实验结果可以相信,在地震活动区布设加密的高精度地磁观测,是能够捕捉到震磁前兆信息的.   相似文献

Cosmic ray (CR) fluxes, which penetrate into the Earth??s magnetosphere and atmosphere from the interplanetary space, are an important factor of space weather. The geomagnetic field allows or forbids CR particles to enter into a given point in the magnetosphere depending on their energy. The geomagnetic cutoff rigidity regulates the distribution of CR fluxes in the magnetosphere. The geomagnetic cutoff rigidity (geomagnetic threshold) determination accuracy is closely related to the accuracy of the magnetospheric model used in calculations. Using a method for tracing of charged CR particle trajectories in the magnetic field of a model magnetosphere, we obtained geomagnetic thresholds for two magnetosphere empirical models (Ts01 and Ts04), constructed based on the same initial database. The Ts01 model describes the middle magnetosphere for certain conditions in the solar wind and interplanetary field. The Ts04 model pays the main attention to describing the large-scale evolution of magnetospheric currents during a storm. The theoretically obtained geomagnetic thresholds have been compared with experimental thresholds, calculated using the spectrographic global survey method based on data from the global network of CR stations. The study has been performed for the period of a strong geomagnetic storm that occurred in November 2003.  相似文献

利用中国地磁台网多年的观测资料,研究了地磁垂直分量日变极小值出现的时间(低点时间)在空间分布上的异常特征即低点位移现象.该异常现象与强震发生有较好的相关性,发震日期为异常日后的第27天或41天前后4天,地点在低点位移突变分界线附近.2001年11月14日昆仑山口西8.1级地震前的10月8日也出现了少见的地磁低点位移强震异常.讨论了地磁低点位移的“感应-触发”机制。  相似文献

“九五”地震前兆数字化台站改造后,数字化的地磁观测仪器在全国各地磁台站推广应用已有两年多时间,两年来,数字化观测仪器和模拟记录仪器在武汉台一直进行并行观测工作,其观测资料稳定可靠。本文通过GM-3磁通门磁力仪与其它仪器进行数字和模拟观测资料的时均值、日均值、月均值、年均值对比分析。分析结果表明数字观测资料优于模拟观测资料,数字观测仪器完全可以取代模拟观测仪器。  相似文献

Summary The post-storm effect (PSE) of the December 16–18, 1971 geomagnetic storm is studied with the use of the ionospheric radio wave absorption measurements and f min data from a network of the GDR, USSR and Czechoslovak observatories. Only a high latitude effect of the storm was found. We found more significant absorption effects associated with later weaker enhancements of geomagnetic activity. The part played by the interplanetary magnetic field is demonstrated. A magnetospheric explanation of the observed variability of PSE based on the time-development of filling up the slot region is suggested.  相似文献

The time variations in the CR geomagnetic cutoff rigidity and their relation to the interplanetary parameters and the Dst index during a strong magnetic storm of November 18–24, 2003, have been analyzed. The Tsyganenko (Ts03) model of a strongly disturbed magnetosphere [Tsyganenko, 2002a, 2002b; Tsyganenko et al., 2003] have been used to calculate effective geomagnetic thresholds with the help of the method for tracing CR particle trajectories in the magnetospheric magnetic field. The geomagnetic thresholds have been calculated using the method of global spectrographic survey (GSS), based on the data from the global network of CR stations, and the results have been compared with the effective geomagnetic cutoff rigidities. The daily anisotropy of effective geomagnetic thresholds during the Dst variation minimum have been estimated. The relation of the theoretical and experimental geomagnetic thresholds, obtained using the GSS method, to the interplanetary parameters and Dst variation is analyzed. The Dst variations, IMF B z , and solar wind density are most clearly defined in the geomagnetic thresholds during this storm. The correlation between B y and experimental geomagnetic thresholds is higher than such a correlation between this parameter and theoretical thresholds by a factor 2–3, which suggests that a real dawn-dusk asymmetry during this storm was stronger than such an asymmetry represented by the Ts03 model.  相似文献

地磁钩扰是太阳耀斑效应的直观表现之一,其研究有助于深入理解太阳爆发对地球空间环境的影响过程,并能为空间天气建模和预报提供科学依据.本文利用山东大学威海地磁台和Intermagnet地磁链与子午工程的地磁观测数据,联合GOES卫星及数字测高仪等的数据,研究了一个由M5.6级太阳耀斑引发的地磁钩扰事件的全球响应特征.研究发现:地磁钩扰特征呈现出南北半球与午前/午后的差异,且地磁响应相对于太阳耀斑存在约3 min的滞后现象,而夜侧无明显扰动;利用位于日侧的50余个地磁台站的数据统计分析后发现地磁钩扰幅度呈现正态分布,且在当地时正午附近达到峰值;利用地磁数据反演出钩扰发生时电离层的电流体系Ss和宁静日电流Sq,并用该电流体系解释了此事件中地磁数据的变化特征.另外,本文初步统计了1996-2015年的地磁钩扰事件数以及相关的太阳耀斑事件数,分析后发现X级耀斑引发地磁钩扰的可能性最大,达42%,由M级耀斑引发的地磁钩扰事件数最多,A、B、C级等小耀斑引发地磁钩扰的可能性很小.  相似文献

中国地磁观测台网台站配备多种高精度连续观测仪器,获得大量数字化观测数据。为有效监控仪器运行状态、台站观测环境及观测数据质量,地磁观测台网引入多个数据评价指标,参考背景噪声即为其中一个重要指标,分析该指标在国际地磁静、扰日以及不同时间段的分布特征,评估其有效性,并利用观测数据验证其合理性。该指标可有效监控数据质量,及时反映地磁台观测运行中存在的问题,作为评估地磁观测台网对地磁场活动最小分辨能力的指标,尚蕴藏其他变化特征。参考背景噪声指标在数据质量监控和数据分析中具有一定应用价值。  相似文献
