In this paper an exact solution of the Brans-Dicke field equations in the presence of stiff matter is obtained for the Bianchi type-I cosmological space-time. The new solution represents an anisotropic homogeneous cosmological model which tends to anisotropic expansion. The behaviour of the solution near the singularities and late stages of the expansion is discussed.  相似文献

Bianchi type V viscous fluid cosmological model for barotropic fluid distribution with varying cosmological term Λ is investigated. We have examined a cosmological scenario proposing a variation law for Hubble parameter H in the background of homogeneous, anisotropic Bianchi type V space-time. The model isotropizes asymptotically and the presence of shear viscosity accelerates the isotropization. The model describes a unified expansion history of the universe indicating initial decelerating expansion and late time accelerating phase. Cosmological consequences of the model are also discussed.  相似文献

In the present investigation we are mainly concerned with a massive scalar field in an axially symmetric Bianchi type – I space-time. Einstein field equations are solved to obtain an exact cosmological model. We have used certain physically meaningful conditions for this purpose. Kinematical cosmological parameters are determined, and their dynamical aspects are discussed. It is observed that our model represents accelerated expansion of the Universe. It is observed that our model agrees with the scenario of accelerated expansion of the Universe confirmed by supernova 1a experimental data.  相似文献

The object of this paper is to investigate the behaviour of viscosity in a cosmological model, in which the coefficient of shear viscosity is assumed to be proportional to rate of expansion in the model. The behaviour of the model in the absence of shear viscosity is also discussed.  相似文献

The recently detected accelerated expansion of the Universe is related to the existence of a new type of matter called the Λ field or quintessence. Constraints were obtained on its equation of state from the absence of clustering of this matter on scales much smaller than the cosmological horizon. The question of how these constraints affect the possibility of fitting the accelerated expansion by such cosmological models as the Chaplygin gas model is discussed.  相似文献

We have investigated two stiff-fluid models in which the material distribution is that of viscous fluid. In the first model, the coefficient of shear viscosity is assumed to be constant while in the second model the coefficient of shear viscosity is proportional to the rate of expansion in the model. The paper also discusses some physical and geometrical aspects of the model. The behaviour of the model in absence of viscosity is also discussed.  相似文献

Distortion of spectrum of the cosmic microwave background due to anisotropic expansion is discussed. We consider an anisotropic cosmological model with a secondary re-heating and re-ionization. After the secondary re-heating distribution of photons momenta becomes isotropic but the spectrum becomes slightly different from that of black body.  相似文献

We present gamma-ray burst afterglow light curves in X-ray, optical and radio bands for various distributions of accelerated electrons behind the shock. The effects of lateral expansion of the jet and of winds in typical Wolf-Rayet star on the evolution are discussed. The light curves in the radiative case decline more rapidly than those in the adiabatic case. Under the combined effect of jet expansion and wind environment, the light curves have the greatest deviation from those of the standard model. All these results refer to the relativistic phase.  相似文献

The model of self-similar shock wave produced on account of an instantaneous release of energy in a non-uniform gaseous mass, has been discussed with the equilibrium conditions. The disturbance are headed by a shock of variable strength. This model is of considerable physical interest in sonic booms, phenomena associated with laser production of plasma, high altitude nuclear detonation, supernova explosion and sudden expansion of corona into the interplanetary space.  相似文献

The motivation of this paper is to investigate two viscous fluid cosmological models in General Relativity in which the expansion is only in two directions i.e. one of the Hubble parameters is zero. In the first model, coefficient of shear viscosity is assumed to be constant while in the second model, the coefficient of shear viscosity is proportional to the rate of expansion in the model. Here no additional condition is assumed except for coefficient of shear viscosity. These models are new and different from those models obtained by Bali and Jain (1987, 1988) in which free gravitational field was assumed to be Petrov Type D and non-degenerate for Marder (1958) metric and coefficient of shear viscosity is proportional to the rate of expansion in the model. The various physical and geometrical aspects of the models are also discussed. This revised version was published online in July 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date.  相似文献

We have investigated magnetized stiff fluid Bianchi Type I anisotropic tilted cosmological model for perfect fluid distribution in General Relativity. It has been assumed that the expansion in the model is only in two directions i.e. one of the Hubble parameter (H1 = A4/A); is zero. It has been shown that tilted nature of the model is preserved due to magnetic field. The various physical and geometrical aspects of the model is also discussed.  相似文献

Bianchi Type-V bulk viscous fluid string dust cosmological model in General Relativity is investigated. It has been shown that if coefficient of bulk viscosity (ζ) is inversely proportional to the expansion (θ) in the model then string cosmological model for Bianchi Type-V space-time is possible. In absence of bulk viscosity (ζ), i.e. when ζ → 0, then there is no string cosmological model for Bianchi Type-V space-time. The physical and geometrical aspects of the model are also discussed.  相似文献

The time-sequence of polar magnetic substorms is discussed to clarify some controversies on the magnetospheric substorm model including the growth phase. The main purpose of the analyses is to examine magnetic variations in the polar cap and in low latitudes. The onset of the expansion phase is confirmed to be reasonably defined by a vector change of polar-cap magnetic disturbance, a sharp intensification of the auroral electrojet disturbance and the beginning of positive ΔH disturbance in midlatitudes near midnight. It is shown that the growth phase signatures so far proposed are consistent when the onset of the expansion phase is identified from the above mentioned features.  相似文献

The present study deals with spatially homogeneous and anisotropic locally rotationally symmetric (LRS) Bianchi type I cosmological model with dominance of dark energy. To get the deterministic model of Universe, we assume that the shear scalar (σ) in the model is proportional to expansion scalar (θ). This condition leads to A=B n , where A, B are metric potential and n is positive constant. It has been found that the anisotropic distribution of dark energy leads to the present accelerated expansion of Universe. The physical behavior of the Universe has been discussed in detail.  相似文献

The objective of the present paper is to study an anisotropic Bianchi-I cosmological model filled with bulk viscous fluid and magnetic field in string cosmology. The magnetic field is due to an electric current produced along the x-axis. The expansion in the model is considered to be proportional to one of the components of the shear tensor. We obtain two different quadrature forms of volume scale factor by considering two different relations between bulk viscosity and expansion scalar. We discuss the behavior of the classical potential with respect to the volume scale factor in the presence or absence of magnetic field and bulk viscosity in each case. We observe the role of bulk viscosity on the classical potential and also on the choices of bulk viscous pressure. By introduction of magnetic field or bulk viscosity or both into the model it results in changes in the potential as well as in volume scale factors. The physical and geometrical aspects of the solutions are discussed in detail.  相似文献

A spatially homogeneous and anisotropic Bianchi type-I cosmological model is obtained in a scalar–tensor theory of gravitation proposed by Saez and Ballester (Phys. Lett. A 113:467, 1986) when the source for energy momentum tensor is a bulk viscous fluid containing one dimensional cosmic strings. Some physical and kinematical properties of the model are discussed. It is observed that the bulk viscosity has a greater role in getting an accelerated expansion of the universe in this theory.  相似文献

This paper is devoted to investigate the modified f(R) theory of gravity, where R represents the Ricci scalar respectively. For our current work, we consider the Friedmann-Robertson-Walker (FRW) space-time for finding solutions of field equations. Furthermore, some numerical solutions are examined by taking the Klein-Gordon Equation and using distinct values of the equation of state (EoS) parameter. In this way, we have discussed the solutions for acceleration expansion of the Universe, sub-relativistic Universe, radiation Universe, ultra-relativistic Universe, dust Universe, and stiff fluid Universe respectively. Moreover, their behaviours are examined by using power-law and exponential law techniques. The bouncing scenario is also discussed by choosing some particular values of the model parameters and observed the energy conditions, which are satisfied for a successful bouncing model. It is also concluded that some solution in f(R) theory of gravity supports the concept of exotic matter and accelerated expansion of the Universe due to a large amount of negative pressure.  相似文献

We investigate the anisotropic locally rotationally symmetric (LRS) Bianchi type I cosmological model with dark matter and anisotropic dark energy. We assume that the shear scalar \((\sigma )\) is proportional to expansion scalar \((\theta )\). A special law is introduced for two skewness parameters that describe the deviation of pressure from isotropy. This law can lead to models: the hybrid expansion, the big rip and the little rip. The behavior of the Universe is discussed depending on the numerical parameters of the models.  相似文献

Mission and hardware constraints make the Cassini radar altimeter working in the beam limited or pulse limited mode dependent on the radar operative mode (Low and High Resolution, respectively), but never allows work in a condition such that the pulsewidth limited circle is much smaller than the beamwidth limited circle. Unfortunately this latter condition is vital for the application of the so-called Brown model widely and successfully used in Earth (ocean) observation missions where the quoted condition is really met. In the paper a new model is discussed which is based on the same general hypotheses of the Brown model but is worked out by means of a different approach which makes it more general and independent of the specific operative conditions. An extension of the new model to take into account large mispointing angles is considered as well based on a series expansion of the Bessel function and on the analysis of the truncation error. Finally a comparison with the classical Brown model is discussed too.  相似文献

The large-scale structure of a collisonless, two-component plasma with a typical Larmor radius of ions ? and scale-lengthL is discussed using Maxwell transport equations. Special attention is paid to the situations in which the usual one-fluid model of plasma based on the expansion of the transport equations in the powers of the ratio ?/L is not a satisfactory approximation. The one-fluid model fails if the magnetic-field-aligned component of the mass velocity or the magnetic-field-aligned component of the typical random velocity of particles is much larger than the other components of the mass and random velocities. The model also fails if the component of the typical random velocity of particles, which is perpendicular to the field lines, substantially exceeds the mass velocity of particles across the field lines. A quasi-static plasma is discussed as an example of plasmas on which the expansion in the powers of ?/L is not applicable. The relation between the electric current flowing in a quasi-static plasma (or in a hot plasma streaming along the field lines) and the topology of the magnetic lines of force is analysed. There are two distinguishable currents of different origin in such a plasma. Magnetic field generated by the currents acquires a geometry in which one current flows in the surfaces perpendicular to the binormals to the field lines while the other current flows along the binormals.  相似文献
