A novel finite element method has been proposed in this paper for the solution of seepage problems economically and accurately. In this method the governing equation and the prescribed boundary conditions are transformed so that they refer to a suitable logarithmically condensed ‘image’ space; the physical problem domain is also mapped into the image space. The transformed equation is then solved in the image space using standard finite elements, subject to the transformed boundary conditions. Because physical space is logarithmically condensed in the image space, the proposed method is capable of dealing with large or very large aspect ratio seepage problems economically and accurately. The validity of the method has been demonstrated by means of a number of examples including anisotropy and non-linearity. In all cases an excellent degree of accuracy was achieved, efficiently and economically.  相似文献

在水电、石油、交通等部门的地下工程中,经常会遇到地下水的渗流问题,如果处理不当,可能诱发应力恶化而影响结构稳定。本文以非饱和介质的渗流模型为基础,实现了地下洞室开挖过程中的非稳定渗流场解析。
按分期施工方案,在保持渗流场变化连续性的前提下,对各施工阶段进行了准稳定渗流分析,并在此基础上建立了地下工程非稳定渗流数值模型。其中,对于洞室系统,基于水量平衡原理,采用了子结构模型;对于防渗帷幕,采用了隔水层模型;对于排水井列,采用了杆单元模型。
根据上述模型,采用有限差分法作为数值模拟方法,编写了地下工程非稳定渗流场分析的有限元程序,实现了复杂渗流区域的渗流场的动态模拟。工程实例计算分析表明,用该模型计算的结果是合理的。   相似文献

A new analytical proof is presented for steady‐state seepage in recharged heterogeneous unconfined aquifers. The paper also presents a detailed procedure and important rules for performing correctly numerical studies of unsaturated seepage. Once a numerical solution is calibrated with field data, using a set of spatially distributed values for hydraulic conductivity K and effective infiltration EI, any new numerical analysis with a set of αK and αEI values, where α is a constant, yields an equally good calibration. However, if the effective porosities of each layer are unchanged, the groundwater velocities are multiplied by α, whereas the travel times are divided by α, which may help to select α in order to match known travel time data. This is a clear example of multiple solutions to an inverse problem. The paper underlines the role and the need to finely mesh unsaturated zones and also contacts between layers to reach the asymptotic convergence range, as it was carried out to verify the proof and as it should be completed to study any seepage problem. The objective of this paper is to estimate water seepage from the upper reservoir of Azad pumped storage power plant, based on combined geotechnical investigations and geostatistical methods. In order to select the optimum water tightening alternative, such as clay blanket, concrete cover (or concrete lining), geomembrane, asphalt cover, etc., estimation of water seepage from the reservoir is essential. Six exploratory boreholes were drilled at the pumped storage reservoir area and permeability tests (Lugeon tests) were conducted in all of them. Records at the boreholes have been considered as the main source for seepage calculations. Due to expansion of upper reservoir and a few boreholes, distribution of permeability and permeability changes in the reservoir area is not an indicator for reservoir. In this research using geostatistical method (Kriging), Lugeon values have been estimated for walls of reservoir. According to correspondence between estimated permeability distribution and geological conditions, the estimated values are acceptable. In addition, results show that in about 60% of tests, permeability is very high and potential of water seepage is very dangerous. Afterward, seepage was estimated for reservoir by using both analytical (Vedernikov method) and numerical method. Results from both methods are very close together and the average seepage is around 280,000 m3/day according to analytical and numerical results. Regarding results and general geological considerations, seepage is concentrated at fault zones. Results show that using appropriate permeability distribution, the estimated values of water seepage are acceptable and reliable. Due to the high amount of water seepage and economical value of water in this region, water tightening is necessary.  相似文献

The theory of variational inequalities enables us to formulate and solve free boundary problems in fixed domains, while most other methods assume the position of the unknown domain in solving the problem. Here the problem of seepage flow through a rectangular dam with a free boundary is formulated as a vertical inequality following the ideas of Baiocchi. In order to demonstrate the essential ideas of extending the domain of the solution of problems with free boundaries, the problem of the deflection, of a string on a rigid support is first examined. Next, variational inequalities are derived which are associated with several cases of seepage problems. An approximation theory, including a priori error estimates, is developed using finite element methods, and an associated numerical scheme is given. It is shown that for linear and quadratic finite element methods, the rates of convergence are 0(h) and 0(h1.25-δ), 0 < δ < 0.25, respectively, if the permeability is constant.  相似文献

对渗透各向异性土层中的圆形围堰渗流场进行解析研究。将圆形围堰周围渗流场分为3个区域,通过坐标变换以及将边界条件齐次化后,用分离变量法分别得到柱坐标系下3个区域的水头分布级数解形式,结合区域间的连续条件,并利用贝塞尔函数正交性得到渗透各向异性土层中圆形围堰稳态渗流场的显式解析解,与Plaxis2D软件的计算结果进行对比,验证了解析解的正确性。基于解析解,进一步推导出了涌水量、出逸比降公式,并与不同方法的计算结果作了对比,最后对稳态渗流情况下的水压力进行了计算分析。结果表明:相比于其他近似法,解析解求取的流量、出逸比降以及渗流情况下水压力与数值计算结果高度吻合;渗流水压力会随着围堰半径、纵横向渗透系数比值的增大而减小,而后逐渐趋近于一个稳定值。  相似文献

现有关于半无限含水层中隧洞渗流的解析解不能考虑衬砌部分排水的特性。假定土体和衬砌均为饱和均匀连续介质,采用土体与衬砌分算;利用复变函数解决孔口问题基本方法,对土体采用共形映射坐标变换,将土体中的渗流方程转换为与衬砌部分类似的二维Laplace方程圆环域的Dirichlet问题;通过Fourier解法,根据边界条件并利用流量连续条件,求得半无限空间中带衬砌隧洞渗流量和衬砌周边水头解析解答。分析了径深比、土体与衬砌渗透系数相对值、内壁水压力等因素对渗流量和衬砌周边水头的影响,并与数值算例进行了比较。结果表明,对浅埋隧洞该解析解仍具有较好的精度,是简便、实用的计算方法。  相似文献

渗流,特别涉及到自由面或浸润线的确定是岩土工程的重点和难点问题。借鉴砂土坝的渗流分析方法,采用经典分段组合法理论得到基坑开挖边坡渗流简化模型Ⅰ。在此基础上将土层分层,应用土层分界面上的渗流折射定律,得到简化模型Ⅱ。分别求解两种模型得到正常水位和最大水位条件下的渗水量,与工程实际的渗水量进行对比发现,计算渗水量大于实际渗水量,这是由于忽略了围堰对渗水的阻隔作用。在正常水位条件下,模型Ⅱ的结果优于模型Ⅰ。  相似文献

基于Buckley-Leverett两相渗流方程,提出了新的岩土饱和-非饱和渗流数学模型,利用有限差分方法给出了隐式压力显示饱和度数值求解方法,编制了饱和-非饱和渗流计算程序.结合工程实例,模拟了降雨入渗条件下边坡岩体渗流场孔隙压力变化和含水饱和度变化,模拟结果验证了所提出的模型对饱和-非饱和渗流的有效性.  相似文献

岩土体的渗透破坏、地下工程的防渗设计等无不与渗流计算有关。针对渗流自由面问题,提出一种重心拉格朗日插值的配点型无网格方法。由于渗流自由面问题的求解区域是不规则区域,该方法通过将不规则求解区域嵌入一个正则矩形区域,在正则区域上采用重心拉格朗日插值近似未知函数,利用配点法离散渗流问题的控制方程,将重心拉格朗日插值的微分矩阵离散成代数方程表达的矩阵形式。将自由面上的边界条件通过重心拉格朗日插值离散,通过置换方程法和附加方程法施加边界条件,利用正则区域上的重心插值配点法,通过迭代确定最终自由面的位置。数值算例表明所提出的无网格方法对于求解渗流自由面问题的正确性和高精度。  相似文献

当使用基于有限差分法的FLAC3D计算渗流场时,自由面位置过高,非饱和区渗透系数被定义成常数,这与实际情况不符。运用变单元渗透系数法,对其进行二次开发,并提出了修正的变单元渗透系数法,对非饱和区的渗透系数进行较为严格的理论修正,得出准确的连续光滑的自由面,求解出饱和-非饱和渗流场。利用有限元法与该方法进行对比,论证了该方法的可行性和有效性。提出了附着接触面的方法,解决了三维复杂边界中寻找溢出点的困难;并以实际的三维复杂工程为例,计算了某边坡的渗流场分布情况,经验证,结果准确。研究成果对研究饱和-非饱和渗流以及该软件中与渗流有关的计算具有有指导意义。  相似文献

The objective of this paper is to estimate water seepage from the upper reservoir of Azad pumped storage power plant (PSPP), based on combined geotechnical investigations and geostatistical methods. Azad PSPP has been located in Sanandaj Province in Iran. In order to select the optimum water tightening alternative, such as clay blanket, concrete cover (or concrete lining), geomembrane, asphalt cover etc, estimation of water seepage from the reservoir is essential. Six exploratory boreholes were drilled at the pumped storage reservoir area and permeability tests (Lugeon tests) were conducted in all of them. Records at the boreholes have been considered as the main source for seepage calculations. Due to expansion of upper reservoir and a few boreholes, distribution of permeability and permeability changes in the reservoir area is not indicator of reservoir. In this research using geostatistical method (Kriging), lugeon values have been estimated for walls of reservoir. According to correspondence between estimated permeability distribution and geological conditions, the estimated values are acceptable. In addition results show that in about 60% of tests, permeability is very high and potential of water seepage is very high. 根据洞庭湖区堤防地质特征,建立二元结构堤基堤内压盖模型。基于渗流有限元理论和虚单元固定网格法,编制了堤内压盖渗流有限元程序。通过在压盖上方增加大量强透水性空气单元的方式,解决了压盖渗流计算中经常遇到的2次入渗问题。同时,研究了压盖宽度对防渗效果的影响,得到在堤内有、无水塘的情况下压盖宽度与堤内最大渗透坡降的影响曲线,指出影响曲线主要呈线性变化的趋势,并提出了用于确定临界压盖宽度的临界破坏点法,该法以压盖宽度-堤内最大渗透坡降影响曲线的延长线与天然覆盖层的允许渗透坡降线的交点作为临界破坏点,临界破坏点左侧的堤内区域为可能破坏区域,需要压盖加固;右侧为安全区域,不需加固。临界破坏点法的应用,大幅度地减小了有限元计算模型,避免了多次重复的有限元计算,显著地提高了计算效率,与规范、有限差分等传统方法相比优势明显。  相似文献

排水是岩土体及工程构筑物渗流控制的主要措施之一,其实质是通过在渗流域内形成潜在溢出边界或低水位边界而实现渗流控制的。在排水渗控条件下,渗流场往往具有强烈的边界非线性特征,Signorini型变分不等式方法从理论上为稳定和非稳定排水渗流问题提供了有效的分析方法,但其实际效果还需要得到试验的验证。通过开展含5个排水廊道的排水砂槽模型试验,研究了复杂排水条件下砂土渗流的基本规律,并通过试验数据与数值计算成果的对比分析,论证了Signorini型变分不等式方法的有效性和正确性。试验结果表明,在稳定渗流条件下,排水砂槽上游侧3个排水廊道对渗流控制起主导作用,而下游侧2个廊道则失去排水功能,数值计算与试验成果吻合较好;在非稳定渗流条件下,受测压管精度、砂样均匀性和毛细效应的影响,数值计算与试验成果存在一定偏差,但也较好地揭示了复杂排水条件下砂槽中的非稳定渗流特征。排水砂槽试验结果验证了Signorini型变分不等式方法的有效性和正确性,为复杂排水条件下岩土体及工程构筑物的渗控结构优化设计提供了有效的分析手段。  相似文献

One important step in the design of inclined covers with capillary barrier effect (CCBE) is the determination of the water diversion length (DL). Numerical simulations can predict the DL more precisely than steady-state analytical solutions. Nevertheless, as simplified methods have always been part of engineering design, the application of analytical solutions with conservative boundary conditions, may allow engineers to make reasonable predictions, particularly during the pre-feasibility stage of a project. In this study, a CCBE was designed, constructed and instrumented at the Saint-Tite-des-Caps landfill, Quebec, Canada. This CCBE included a seepage control layer superimposing a sand-gravel capillary barrier. The seepage control layer was made up of deinking by-products (DBP), an industrial by-product that was previously disposed of as waste. The capillary barrier was designed using an adaptation of the Ross analytical solution and the scenario considered was that of steady-state flow during constant seepage flow applied uniformly at the top of the sand-gravel capillary barrier. Although these conditions appear simplistic, they were deemed reasonable because placement of the seepage control layer on the top of the capillary barrier led to very low suctions at the interface, thereby allowing uniform downward seepage rates, limited by the saturated hydraulic conductivity of the DBP. In this paper, a discussion about the behaviour of the cover system based on 4 years of field data from several instruments is presented. The challenge of using DBP, more precisely the settlement of the DBP layer and its impact on k sat , is also assessed. The DL was reassessed considering the new k sat . A discussion on the validity of employing analytical solutions to determine DL is also presented. This paper illustrates how certain variables affect the design of inclined CCBEs that include a highly compressible material as seepage control layer.  相似文献

When an underwater tunnel is excavated, the groundwater may flow into the tunnel. The seepage forces consequently induced can have important effects on the effective stresses around the tunnel. Moreover, the influences of the free surface of a shallow underwater tunnel should also be considered. In this research, an analytical solution is presented to calculate the seepage‐induced effective stresses around a shallow underwater tunnel in an elastic half plane. The solution uses the complex variable method and consists of conformally mapping the half plane with a hole onto a transformed circular ring. The coefficients of the various terms in the Laurent series expansions of the stress functions in the transformed region can be obtained from the boundary conditions. The total stress distribution around a shallow underwater tunnel can be calculated by the potentials in the half plane. The effective stress can be obtained by subtracting the pore pressure from the total stress. The analytical solution is validated by numerical simulations and can be used to perform both the short‐term and long‐term analyses. By using the proposed solution, it is found that the circumferential effective stresses around the tunnel increase greatly because of seepage, and they increase with the increase of water depth in both the undrained and drained conditions. 在三维非恒定渗流有限元计算中,不可避免地需计算自由面上的边界积分项。建议一种高精度数值积分的方法求取自由面边界积分项。其基本思路是,基于8节点空间等参单元,根据压力为零的边界条件确定自由面满足的曲面方程,将自由面边界积分转化为ξη平面上的二重积分;然后再计算自由面与三维等参单元的交点,将交点投影到局部坐标平面ξη上,并根据点与线的相对关系,确定投影点所围成的局部坐标积分区域;再将总积分区域划分成若干个三角形子区域,并利用变步长Simpson方法计算各三角形子区域上的二重积分,从而实现了高精度的自由面边界积分。该方法避免了单元中自由面为平面的假设,可提高计算精度,特别对于单元内自由面变化剧烈情况,更为显著。将该方法应用于砂槽模型和土坝的渗流分析中,计算结果与实际情况较为接近。  相似文献

以随机理论为基础,把岩土体渗透系数视为随机变量。根据渗透系数的概率分布,把岩土体视为按概率分布的不同渗透系数介质的混合体,不同渗透系数介质对渗流场产生贡献的大小由其概率的大小来确定。在确定岩土体渗透系数后,通过渗流方程就可求出不同渗透系数作用下区域内的水头分布和断面流量,再根据渗透系数的概率大小进行叠加,求出整个区域内的水头分布和断面流量。工程实例表明,该方法较确定性有限元法误差小,可作为渗流计算的又一方法用于渗流分析。  相似文献

When tunneling is carried out beneath the groundwater table, hydraulic boundary is altered, resulting in seepage entering into the tunnel. The development of flow into the tunnel induces seepage stresses in the ground and the lining is subjected to additional loads. This can often cause fine particles to move, which clog the filter resulting in the long‐term hydraulic deterioration of the drainage system. However, the effect of seepage force is generally not considered in the analysis of tunnel. While several elastic solutions have been proposed by assuming seepage in an elastic medium, stress solutions have not been considered for the seepage force in a porous elasto‐plastic medium. This paper documents a study that investigates the stress behavior, caused by seepage, of a tunnel in an elasto‐plastic ground and its effects on the tunnel and ground. New elasto‐plastic solutions that adopt the Mohr–Coulomb failure criterion are proposed for a circular tunnel under radial flow conditions. A simple solution based on the hydraulic gradient obtained from a numerical parametric study is also proposed for practical use. It should be noted that the simple equation is useful for acquiring additional insight into a problem on a tunnel under drainage, because only a minimal computational effort is needed and considerable economic benefits can be gained by using it in the preliminary stage of tunnel design. The proposed equations were partly validated by numerical analysis, and their applicability is illustrated and discussed using an example problem. Comments on the tunnel analysis are also provided.
