The possible corrections to the thermodynamic quantities of higher dimensional Schwa-rzschild black hole have been investigated by considering the generalized uncertainty principle (GUP) and the modified dispersion relation (MDR) separately. The quantum gravitational corrections to the Hawking temperature, energy and entropy of the black hole have been calculated based on both the GUP and the MDR analysis. The explicit form of the corrections are worked out up to the sixth power of the Planck length. The impacts of GUP and MDR have been used separately to obtain the quantum gravitational corrections to the Cardy-Verlinde (C-V) formula. It has been shown that the usual C-V entropy formula receives some new corrections. Also the renormalized form of the C-V formula has been introduced by redefining Virasoro operator and central charge within both the GUP and the MDR. Through comparison of the corrections obtained from GUP and MDR approaches it has been found that the results of these two alternative approaches should be identical if one uses the suitable expansion coefficients.  相似文献

There has been a renewed interest in the recent years in the possibility of deviations from the predictions of Newton’s “inverse-square law” of universal gravitation. One of the reasons for renewing this interest lies in various theoretical attempts to construct a unified elementary particle theory, in which there is a natural prediction of new forces over macroscopic distances. In this paper we study the entropic gravity correction to the gravitational force on the horizon of a black hole whose metric has been modified by a Yukawa term. We find that the gravitational radius of such a black hole is given in-terms of the Lambert function, and the entropic force introduces a extra term that depends on the square of the coupling constant α of the Yukawa potential. In the case alpha equals zero we recover the Newtonian gravitational force on the horizon. In a first effort to obtain a relation between geometry and information, we calculate the Ricci scalar and through entropy we establish a relation to the number of information N where this is given in nats. Finally, we calculate a critical entropy value as well as a critical information number N c for which the curvature becomes identically zero which implies that the space becomes flat.  相似文献

In this paper, we analyze the thermodynamic properties of acoustic Schwarzschild black holes with its parameter. The study is conducted in the extended phase space displaying the phase transition. This phase transition is examined through Gibbs free energy, specific heat, and heat capacity. Later, we discuss the thermal stability of acoustic black holes through Hawking temperature by identifying their stable and unstable regions. We calculate the corrected entropy to examine the thermal fluctuations. Through the corrected entropy we observe that there is no fluctuation in the case of small black holes. We also discuss the energy emission process from acoustic black holes. Moreover, we employ the generalized uncertainty principle to obtain a modified Lagrangian equation. We analyze the tunneling and Hawking temperature of the acoustic Schwarzschild black hole after solving the field equations.  相似文献

Using the analytic extension method, we study Hawking radiation of an (n+4)-dimensional Schwarzschild-de Sitter black hole. Under the condition that the total energy is conserved, taking the reaction of the radiation of particles to the spacetime into consideration and considering the relation between the black hole event horizon and cosmological horizon, we obtain the radiation spectrum of de Sitter spacetime. This radiation spectrum is no longer a strictly pure thermal spectrum. It is related to the change of the Bekenstein-Hawking (B-H) entropy corresponding the black hole event horizon and cosmological horizon. The result satisfies the unitary principle. At the same time, we also testify that the entropy of de Sitter spacetime is the sum of the entropy of black hole event horizon and the one of cosmological horizon.

In this paper, we study quantum corrections to the temperature and entropy of a regular Ayón-Beato-García-Bronnikov black hole solution by using tunneling approach beyond semiclassical approximation. We use the first law of black hole thermodynamics as a differential of entropy with two parameters, mass and charge. It is found that the leading order correction to the entropy is of logarithmic form. In the absence of the charge, i.e., e=0, these corrections approximate the corresponding corrections for the Schwarzschild black hole.  相似文献

In this study, we explore a particular type Hawking radiation which ends with zero temperature and entropy. The appropriate black holes for this purpose are the linear dilaton black holes. In addition to the black hole choice, a recent formalism in which the Parikh-Wilczek’s tunneling formalism amalgamated with quantum corrections to all orders in ? is considered. The adjustment of the coefficients of the quantum corrections plays a crucial role on this particular Hawking radiation. The obtained tunneling rate indicates that the radiation is not pure thermal anymore, and hence correlations of outgoing quanta are capable of carrying away information encoded within them. Finally, we show in detail that when the linear dilaton black hole completely evaporates through such a particular radiation, entropy of the radiation becomes identical with the entropy of the black hole, which corresponds to “no information loss”.  相似文献

We study the effects of the generalized uncertainty principle in the tunneling formalism for Hawking radiation to evaluate the quantum-corrected Hawking temperature and entropy for a Kerr black hole. By assumption of a spatially flat universe accompanied with expansion of metric, the modified area and entropy of Kerr black hole are calculated and we could obtain an expression for entropy of black hole that is changing with respect to time and Bekenstein-Hawking temperature.  相似文献

In this paper, the Planck absolute entropy and the Bekenstein–Smarr formula of the rotating Banados–Teitelboim–Zanelli (BTZ) black hole are presented via a complex thermodynamical system contributed by its inner and outer horizons. The redefined entropy approaches zero as the temperature of the rotating BTZ black hole tends to absolute zero, satisfying the Nernst formulation of a black hole. Hence, it can be regarded as the Planck absolute entropy of the rotating BTZ black hole.  相似文献

Viscous Keplerian discs become sub-Keplerian close to a black hole since they pass through sonic points before entering into it. We study the time evolution of polytropic viscous accretion discs (both in one- and two-dimensional flows) using smoothed particle hydrodynamics. We discover that for a large region of the parameter space spanned by energy, angular momentum and polytropic index, when the flow viscosity parameter is less than a critical value, standing shock waves are formed. If the viscosity is very high then the shock wave disappears. In the intermediate viscosity, the disc oscillates very significantly in the viscous time-scale. Our simulations indicate that these centrifugally supported high density regions close to a black hole play an active role in the flow dynamics, and consequently, the radiation dynamics.  相似文献

Shadow formation around supermassive black holes were simulated. Due to enormous progress in observational facilities and techniques of data analysis researchers approach to opportunity to measure shapes and sizes of the shadows at least for the closest supermassive black hole at the Galactic Center. Measurements of the shadow sizes around the black holes can help to evaluate parameters of black hole metric. Theories with extra dimensions (Randall–Sundrum II braneworld approach, for instance) admit astrophysical objects (supermassive black holes, in particular) which are rather different from standard ones. Different tests were proposed to discover signatures of extra dimensions in supermassive black holes since the gravitational field may be different from the standard one in the general relativity (GR) approach. In particular, gravitational lensing features are different for alternative gravity theories with extra dimensions and general relativity. Therefore, there is an opportunity to find signatures of extra dimensions in supermassive black holes. We show how measurements of the shadow sizes can put constraints on parameters of black hole in spacetime with extra dimensions.  相似文献

We assembled a sample of Seyfert 1 galaxies, quasi-stellar objects (QSOs) and low-luminosity active galactic nuclei (LLAGNs) observed by ASCA , the central black hole masses of which have been measured. We found that the X-ray variability (which is quantified by the 'excess variance' σ rms2) is significantly anti-correlated with the central black hole mass, and it is likely that a linear relationship of σ rms2∝ M bh−1 exists. It can be interpreted that the short time-scale X-ray variability is caused by some global coherent variations in the X-ray emission region, which is scaled by the size of the central black hole. Hence the central black hole mass is the driving parameter of the previously established relation between X-ray variability and luminosity. Our findings favour the hypothesis that the narrow-line Seyfert 1 galaxies and QSOs harbour smaller black holes than the broad-line objects, and can also easily explain the observational fact that high-redshift QSOs have greater variability than local AGNs at a given luminosity. Further investigations are needed to confirm our findings, and a large sample X-ray variability investigation can give constraints on the physical mechanisms and evolution of AGNs.  相似文献

The entropy correction of Kerr-Newman black hole is investigated using the Hamilton-Jacobi method beyond semiclassical approximation. To get entropy correction, the inverse of the sum of square of event horizon (r +) and the square of rotational parameter a of the black hole is taken as the proportionality parameter for quantum corrections of the action I i to the semiclassical action I 0. It has been shown that as quantum effects are taken into account the corrections to the Bekenstein-Hawking entropy of the stationary black hole include a logarithmic term and an inverse area term beyond the semiclassical approximation.  相似文献

The present research paper discusses the derivation for the change in entropy of Non- spinning black holes with respect to the change in the radius of event horizon applying the first law of black hole mechanics ( $\delta M = \frac{\kappa}{8\pi} \delta A + \varOmega\delta J - \upsilon\delta Q$ ) with the relation for the change in entropy δS=8πMδM. When the work is further extended with proper operation, the entropy of black hole is obtained almost the same as the Bekenstein-Hawking entropy of black hole. This is the entirely new method to obtain the change in entropy of Non-spinning black holes w.r.t. the radius of event horizon and Hawking entropy of black hole. We have also calculated their values for different types of test non-spinning black holes having masses 5–20M found in X-ray binaries (Narayan, gr-qc/0506078v1, 2005).  相似文献

In this paper we investigate the strong gravitational lensing in a charged squashed Kaluza-Klein black hole. We suppose that the supermassive black hole in the galaxy center can be considered by a charged squashed Kaluza-Klein black hole and then we study the strong gravitational lensing theory and estimate the numerical values for parameters and observables of it. We explore the effects of the scale of extra dimension ρ 0 and the charge of black hole ρ q on these parameters and observables.  相似文献

In the present work we study (i) the charged black hole in Einstein–Gauss–Bonnet (EGB) theory, known as the Einstein–Maxwell–Gauss–Bonnet (EMGB) black hole and (ii) the black hole in EGB gravity with a Yang–Mills field. The thermodynamic geometry of these two black hole solutions has been investigated, using the modified entropy in Gauss–Bonnet theory.  相似文献

In recent papers we had developed a unified picture of black hole entropy and curvature which was shown to lead to Hawking radiation. It was shown that for any black hole mass, holography implies a phase space of just one quantum associated with the interior of the black hole. Here we study extremal rotating and charged black holes and obtain unique values for ratios of angular momentum to entropy, charge to entropy, etc. It turns out that these ratios can be expressed in terms of fundamental constants in nature, having analogies with other physical systems, like in condensed matter physics.  相似文献

We study the radiation properties of an accretion disc around a rotating black hole. We solve the hydrodynamic equations and calculate the transonic solutions of accretion disc in the presence of shocks. Then we use these solutions to generate the radiation spectrum in the presence of radiative heating and cooling processes. We present the effect of spin parameter of the black hole on the emitted radiation spectrum. In addition, attention has also been paid to the variation in energy spectral index with Kerr parameter and accretion rate. We find that spectral index becomes harder as the spin parameter changes from negative (accretion disc is counter-rotating with respect to the black hole spin) to a positive value. Finally, we compute and compare the spectral characteristics due to a free-fall flow and a transonic flow. We notice significant differences in high energy contributions from these two solutions.  相似文献

By means of the semiclassical approximations for the action, the horizon of Kerr-Sen black hole is studied. The corrected entropy of the Kerr-Sen black hole in a low-energy string theory is calculated. By assumption of a flat Friedman-Robertson-Walker (F.R.W.) geometries, we study horizon and present the semi-classic approximation affects of the thermodynamics properties. We discuss some physical consequences of this result and the properties of the Kerr-Sen black hole.  相似文献

As is well known, black hole entropy is proportional to the area of the horizon suggesting a holographic principle wherein all degrees of freedom contributing to the entropy reside on the surface. In this note, we point out that large scale dark energy (such as a cosmological constant) constraining cosmic structures can imply a similar situation for the entropy of a hierarchy of such objects.  相似文献
