This paper presents a model of facies distribution within a set of early Cretaceous, deep‐lacustrine, partially confined turbidite fans (Sea Lion Fan, Sea Lion North Fan and Otter Fan) in the North Falkland Basin, South Atlantic. As a whole, ancient deep‐lacustrine turbidite systems are under‐represented in the literature when compared with those documented in marine basins. Lacustrine turbidite systems can form extensive, good quality hydrocarbon reservoirs, making the understanding of such systems crucial to exploration within lacustrine basins. An integrated analysis of seismic cross‐sections, seismic amplitude extraction maps and 455 m of core has enabled the identification of a series of turbidite fans. The deposits of these fans have been separated into lobe axis, lobe fringe and lobe distal fringe settings. Seismic architectures, observed in the seismic amplitude extraction maps, are interpreted to represent geologically associated heterogeneities, including: feeder systems, terminal mouth lobes, flow deflection, sinuous lobe axis deposits, flow constriction and stranded lobe fringe areas. When found in combination, these architectures suggest ‘partial confinement’ of a system, something that appears to be a key feature in the lacustrine turbidite setting of the North Falkland Basin. Partial confinement of a system occurs when depositionally generated topography controls the flow‐pathway and deposition of subsequent turbidite fan deposits. The term ‘partial confinement’ provides an expression for categorising a system whose depositional boundaries are unconfined by the margins of the basin, yet exhibit evidence of internal confinement, primarily controlled by depositional topography. Understanding the controls that dictate partial confinement; and the resultant distribution of sand‐prone facies within deep‐lacustrine turbidite fans, is important, particularly considering their recent rise as hydrocarbon reservoirs in rift and failed‐rift settings.  相似文献

开发不受沼泽微生物影响的地球化学勘查技术是提高中纬度冻土区天然气水合物探井预测成功率的重要课题之一。本文选择在祁连山聚乎更天然气水合物已知区进行惰性气体勘查技术实验,研究了氦氖的测试方法,实验区为高寒沼泽景观,面积150km~2,采样密度2点/km~2,采样深度60cm,采集土壤顶空气样品300件和DK-3井岩芯样品400件,应用色谱反吹技术对顶空气样品进行了惰性气体氦氖的分析。结合地质和地球化学勘查成果进行了综合解释,认为惰性气体异常与天然气水合物矿藏关系密切,与烃类异常浓度范围一致,为顶部异常模式。实验区天然气水合物矿藏11个水合物发现井有10个位于He、Ne异常内,1个井位于异常外。分析了天然气水合物岩芯顶空气轻烃和氦氖指标的垂向分布特征,提出了天然气水合物矿藏上方土壤惰性气体的地气迁移机理。研究区近地表氦氖异常源于深部水合物矿藏和断裂构造,不受沼泽微生物的影响,是冻土区天然气水合物勘查的一种有效技术。  相似文献

沉积盆地中与油气密切相关的金属矿床主要包括密西西比河谷型(MVT)铅锌矿床、砂页岩型铜-铀矿床、黑色页岩中的金属硫化物矿床、沉积岩容矿的金-锑-砷-汞-铊矿床等。金属矿床与(古)油气藏在空间上的密切共生/伴生关系,暗示了二者成因上的有机联系。在许多MVT铅锌矿床和砂页岩型铜矿床中,与成矿关系密切的原油及其衍生物形成于矿化前,它们为随后的金属成矿直接提供还原硫或充当硫酸盐还原反应的还原剂。在另一些情况下,某些低温热液金属矿床,特别是Au、As、Hg、Sb、Tl矿床与油气表现出同源、同运、同聚的耦合关系,金属成矿与油气成藏同时或近同时进行。与油气具不同耦合关系的金属矿床常表现出不同的特点。与成藏和/或成矿有关的盆地流体大致可分为以碳氢化合物为主的有机流体、以含金属盐水溶液为主的无机流体以及同时富含烃类和金属组分的有机成矿流体3类,盆地中的成矿、成藏作用及其耦合关系受控于这三类流体的演化过程。沉积盆地中金属矿床与油气藏空间上密切的共生/伴生关系以及成矿、成藏过程和机理的相似性,使金属与油气矿产资源的协同勘探和综合预测成为可能。  相似文献

层序地层学是在地震地层学基础上发展起来的一门新兴学科,在油气等沉积矿产勘探中得到了广泛应用,并取得了丰硕的成果,但在砂岩型铀矿勘查中的应用却刚刚起步.本文总结了近年来层序地层学研究在砂岩型铀矿勘查中取得的成果,分析了层序研究中存在的问题及产生的原因,并根据砂岩型铀矿成矿特征和层序地层学发展情况展望了其应用前景,明确了层序地层学的具体应用方向,提出了具体工作建议.  相似文献

在国内外许多热液矿床的成矿作用研究中都发现有烃类组分的存在,这一现象已越来越受到矿床学家的关注。有机质、有机烃与金属成矿作用之间存在着直接或者间接的成因关系。有机烃指标应用于金属矿产勘查和深部隐伏矿体的预测是一个尚处于试验阶段的新的研究领域,其基础理论还不十分成熟。本文从有机烃预测隐伏金矿床的应用实例着手,归纳出金矿体上有机烃异常特征和模式,并对异常来源以及异常模式成因进行探讨,结果表明有机烃异常特征和有机烃组分间相关特性能有效反映深部隐伏金矿体的赋存空间和成矿规模,为利用有机烃预测隐伏金矿寻求更坚实的理论基础。  相似文献

地震沉积学是在地震地层学和层序地层学基础上发展起来的、沉积地质学与地球物理学相互交叉的新兴学科,在刻画薄层砂体、表征储集层和预测岩性圈闭等方面发挥了重要作用。在表述地震沉积学发展简史的基础上,介绍了地震沉积学的基本概念、基本原理和主要研究流程;在建立精细层序地层格架基础上,重点阐述了90°相移、分频处理与频谱分解、属性优选、地层切片、地球物理反演、地震岩性解释和RGB(红色、绿色、蓝色)地震属性融合等地震沉积学关键技术以及地震沉积相实例分析。认为中国地震沉积学应该围绕不同类型沉积盆地开展油气勘探阶段地震地貌学(地震沉积相模式)和复杂(多样)地震岩性学综合研究,在油气开发阶段,充分利用RGB地震属性融合等多种地球物理方法技术,开展多种成因类型砂体构型和储集层定量表征研究。综合研究表明,地震沉积学是沉积地质学发展的新航程。  相似文献

斑岩型铜矿的勘探对于国民经济的发展有着重要的意义,遥感技术以其自身优势在斑岩铜矿的找矿工作中起到了重要的推动作用,但以往的工作多注重于某种遥感技术或几种技术组合在斑岩铜矿勘查中的应用,而对各类技术的综合运用与评价尚显不足。介绍了遥感技术在斑岩型铜矿床勘查中的应用历史、现状及几种常用技术,如反射光谱技术、多光谱遥感技术、高光谱遥感技术、雷达技术,并详细介绍这些技术的核心方法、主要应用方向及成功实例。最后对这些技术进行对比分析,指出了每种技术的优缺点,结合各自的特征,介绍了几种技术方法组合,并通过成功实例证明其应用的科学性,尤其适合大面积的勘查扫面工作。  相似文献

This paper attempts to define apparent mineral distribution patterns of China according to tectono-stratigraphic terrane geology. Associations between specific mineral and hydrocarbon deposits and specific tectono-stratigraphic terranes in China suggest that deposits of certain types are spatially constrained by terrane geology. The definition of specific tectono-stratigraphic terranes of China is a valuable initial step in interpreting the geologic history of the nation, although terrane analysis of China is at a very early stage. The recognition that specific deposit types are associated with specific tectono-stratigraphic terranes may make it possible to select appropriate analogues from elsewhere in the world to evaluate China's mineral and hydrocarbon potential. Additionally, understanding the associations between mineral and hydrocarbon deposits and tectono-stratigraphic terranes in China may serve as an aid to future exploration in the nation.  相似文献

Lithologic Hydrocarbon Deposits in Rift Lake Basins in Eastern China   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
The rift lake basins in the eastern China have abundant hydrocarbon resources of lithologic deposits, which resulted from excellent source rocks and multi-type sandbodies developed during strong rifting. Vertically, the lithologic deposits are mainly distributed in the lowstand, lacustrine invasion and early highstand systems of third-order sequence corresponding to a secondary tectonic episode of strong rifting, and laterally they are closely related to various fans and turbidite sandbodies controlled by syn-sedimentary faults. A variety of lithologic traps have been developed in the rift lake basins, and they generally have favorable conditions of source-reservoir-seal assemblage and hydrocarbon accumulation dynamics, indicating that there is a great exploration potential of lithologic deposits in the rift lake basins. In order to obtain satisfactory effects of lithologic deposit exploration, it is required to combine new theories with advanced technical methods.  相似文献

我国东部断陷湖盆和西部坳陷湖盆第三系均有蒸发岩与烃源岩共生现象。前者水体深、咸化范围小,在氯化盐和碳酸盐沉积环境中形成了优质烃源岩,后者水体浅、咸化范围大,在氯化盐和硫酸盐沉积环境中发育了优质烃源岩,作者认为两种湖盆出现的水体分层是有机质堆积和保存的重要条件。济阳坳陷和柴达木盆地为两类咸化湖盆的典型代表,对它们的研究可以深化蒸发岩-烃源岩共生区油气地质的认识、促进勘探发展。  相似文献

利用地震层速度、声波测井及各种录井资料研究北部湾盆地涠西南凹陷超压系统及油气运移 ,用以指导下一步油气勘探。研究发现主要生烃层段流沙港组二段泥岩的欠压实是形成异常高压的主要原因 ,异常压力主要分布于凹陷中心地区。最大压力封闭点及油的成熟门限深度可以区分异常高压层的作用 ,在生油门限以下的异常压力带中的快速压实段 ,是油气初次运移最有利的层段。研究发现本区存在两种油气运移方式 ,即向泥岩下方运移和侧向运移 ,最后指出勘探油气的有利地区  相似文献

右江盆地裂陷期和坳陷早期的沉积物提供研究区金矿与古油藏的物质与流体。成矿物质与烃类在盆地流体中沿以二叠纪生物礁为核心的断层、浊积岩及不整合面组成的三维输导体系向盆地边缘及二叠纪生物礁的核部运移。由于烃类物质与盐水体系密度的差异,使烃类物质与成矿物质差异聚集于不同的圈闭中形成流体藏。流体矿藏的破坏是导致成矿物质沉淀形成矿床的直接原因。构造活动、风化剥蚀及流体压裂均可导致流体矿藏破坏,其中燕山构造运动是该区流体藏破坏的主要原因,因而亦是该区金矿成矿作用的主要构造营力。本文从盆地流体运移、演化的角度证明,该区古油藏是盆地裂陷与坳陷阶段流体聚集的产物,而矿床则是盆地挤压抬升阶段流体藏破坏、流体散失的结果。研究成果表明,金矿与油气是同一盆地流体在其不同演化阶段的产物,这对在盆地中寻找相同类型的金属矿产意义重大。  相似文献

Although no drilling has been carried out in the deep water area of the Baiyun sag in the Pearl River Mouth Basin, South China Sea, the successful exploration for natural gas in the shallow water area of the Panyu lower uplift allows an insight into the prospectivity of the adjacent deep water fan system of the Baiyun sag. The Paleogene gas kitchen in the Baiyun sag provided both oil-derived gas and coal-derived gas. Fluid inclusion measurements and 2D numeric modelling of formation pressure indicate four episodes of hydrocarbon charge since the third release of the overpressure system. Seismic wipeout zones manifest several types of gas chimney which could play a role in vertical migration conduits to feed the natural gases into the deep water fan system. There would be, therefore, a low risk for hydrocarbon exploration in the deep water fan system.  相似文献

西部凹陷南部为辽河油田的重点探区之一,具有十分优越的石油地质条件。本区在沙三期断陷活动强烈,发育了巨厚的深水泥岩和多期次缓坡型湖底扇沉积,为油气聚集成藏提供了丰富的油气源条件和储集条件。沙三段沉积时期,在西部凹陷南部发育有齐家-杜家台和锦州-欢喜岭两大湖底扇沉积体系。受物源区的距离、基底构造和主干断层活动的控制,湖底扇平面上具有分带性,可划分为内扇、中扇和外扇三个亚相带。齐杜和锦欢湖底扇在沙三早期规模较小,中期规模最大,晚期萎缩。本区沙三段储层物性普遍较差,以低孔-低渗、特低孔-特低渗储层为主,其中湖底扇中扇辫状沟道微相砂体储集性能最好,平面上依中扇辫状沟道→中扇前缘→外扇亚相储层物性由好变差。储集性能的优劣主要受母岩区岩性、沉积作用、成岩作用等多种因素控制。沙三段湖底扇砂体在区内分布广泛,处于成熟生油岩的包围之中,位于油气运移的有利指向上,成藏条件优越,勘探前景广阔。  相似文献

Limited well control, great distances from age-equivalent producing fields, and a largely unknown stratigraphy necessitated use of sequence stratigraphic methods to assess exploration risk associated with reservoir, source and seal distribution in the Mobil-operated Deep-water Blocks of Sarawak, Malaysia. These methods allowed predictions to be made and reservoir risks to be halved in each of the locations drilled in 1995. Predictions regarding reservoir and stratigraphy proved correct, as the Mulu-1 and Bako-1 wells penetrated numerous high-quality, thick sandstone reservoirs in the Middle to Lower Miocene section. Shallow marine sandstones dominate the vertical succession in both wells, with characteristic aggradational, upward-coarsening log motifs. Cores display classic wave-generated stratification and hummocky cross-bedding. Evidence, such as marginal–marine to neritic microfauna in cuttings of both wells, supports these interpretations. Lack of hydrocarbon charge in the two wells may be due to their position relative to coaly hydrocarbon source beds. These prospects have high trap and seal integrity, being well defined on seismics as high relief horst blocks covered by a very thick shale-prone section. The Mulu-1 well, for example, is located at least 20–30 km down stratigraphic dip from mapped coeval lower coastal-plain deposits. Amplitude anomalies on the flank of the Mulu horst are probably derived from transported organics buried in deep Plio–Pleistocene kitchens in the northwest portion of the Mobil blocks. Remaining potential of mapped prospects is high and efforts continue at characterizing the petroleum system of the Deep-water Blocks. Seismic attribute and interval velocity analyses provide new clues to the location of probable coaly source rocks, especially when viewed in their regional and sequence stratigraphic context. Future work is planned and will serve to reduce risk to acceptable levels and support further drilling in this prospective hydrocarbon province.  相似文献

地下深处的油气藏中的烃类物质,在压力梯度下会向地表产生微渗漏,导致地表物质产生一系列理化异常,在地表形成吸附烃异常、红层退色、粘土化、碳酸盐化、放射性异常和地植物异常等标志。根据这些地表标志的地物波谱特征,选择出油气资源遥感勘查的最佳工作波段,在此基础上,以机载遥感信息为主,以星载遥感信息为辅,以地表地球化学、地植物学、地面遥感勘查作为验证手段,最终施行多元信息复合分析,可达到寻找油气藏的目的。  相似文献
