This paper presents a robust H∞ output feedback control approach for structural systems with uncertainties in model parameters by using available acceleration measurements and proposes conditions for the existence of such a robust output feedback controller. The uncertainties of structural stiffness, damping and mass parameters are assumed to be norm-bounded. The proposed control approach is formulated within the framework of linear matrix inequalities, for which existing convex optimization techniques, such as the LMI toolbox in MATLAB, can be used effectively and conveniently. To illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed robust H∞ strategy, a six-story building was subjected both to the 1940 El Centro earthquake record and to a suddenly applied Kanai-Tajimi filtered white noise random excitation. The results show that the proposed robust H∞ controller provides satisfactory results with or without variation of the structural stiffness, damping and mass parameters.  相似文献

In this paper we investigate the sources of two kinds of forces to form the stress field in the lithosphere. These are the drag force caused by mantle flow and the force system along plate boundaries. The results show that both forces control the basic stress pattern in China and compressive stresses can fit with the stress patterns constructed by focal mechanisms,in-situ stress measurements in boreholes and that deduced from other geophysical and geological observation. Incorrect results including false low frequency components may appear during the recovery of ground motion in the frequency domain. In order to check the quality of restoration in the frequency domain of CDSN broad-band seismograms, a digital model of the seismograph systems, based on modern control engineering, is presented and improvement of the method of restoration in the frequency domain is described. Examples shown in this paper demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach in improving the restoration of true ground motion. Based on Generalized Seismic Ray Theory (Helmberger, 1968), a new quickly linear inversion method from the data of seismic waveform to seismic moment tensor and source mechanism for domestic earthquake is studied in this paper. Six moderately strong earthquakes which occurred in Chinese mainland in the past few years are studied. The seismic source parameters of these earthquakes, seismic moment tensors, scalar seismic moments, fault plane solutions and source time functionsetc, are obtained. Near-field records of two strong aftershocks with magnitudeM S=6.7 andM S=6.3 in the Lancang-Gengma earthquakes sequence, Yunnan Province, November 1988, are used to calculate the response spectrum. In this paper, the coefficients of Parkinson vectora, b and the in-phase partA r, Br and quadrature-phase partA i, Bi of transter functions are calculated by using two kinds of data processing methods, respectively. The results of both methods are close to each other. All these six parameters above are low in value, showing that the electric structure in Heze area is rather uniform. It seems that the anomalous changes appeared in both results, and the values of parameters decrease before and after Heze earthquake. The neotectonic stress field in Chao-Shan area is analyzed with the fault striation analysis method. At least four types of stress states are detected, which are in close connection with their locations relative to the basin. Generally, from the subsidence centres to places far from them, horizontal tectonic stress varies from tensile to compressive. The algorithm of successive formulas for computing numerical vibrating response of unequal time interval for a single-degree of freedom oscillator in linear cases are more systematically introduced in the paper. Some numerical analysis characteristics of the algorithm are discussed. It is proved that the algorithm is unconditionally stable and convergent. A computer program for simultaneous calculation of the relative displacement, the relative velocity and the absolute acceleration response spectra is edited in the paper. The Zaisang earthquake (M s=7.3) on June 14, 1990 occurred in the boundary between China and Kazakstan. During the great shock, 3 persons lost their lives, 30 people had been hurt and 340 houses collapsed. The intensity of the epicentre is VIII Degree. The economic losses equals to about 320 000 000 Yuan. This large earthquake was occurred on a new born fault, it belongs to main shock-aftershock type earthquake. In this paper, the three-dimensional thermal structure and the two-dimensional thermal stress caused by the horizontal inhomogeneity of the thermal structure in the crust of the Bohai Sea and its surroundings were analyzed using the geothermal and the crust structural data by means of the finite element method. As resulted, the horizontal distribution of the temperature in the upper crust is obviously different from that in the lower crust in most part of the region. But the horizontal distribution of the heat flow is constant in the crust. There is a belt where the thermal structure of the crust is intensely changed around Tangshan. There are some different characteristics of the thermal stress of the crust around Tangshan, in the North-China plain, in the Bohai Sea gulf, and in the middle part of the Bohai Sea. Utilizing those results, the distribution features of the seismic activity in the region were explained in this paper.
