日冕物质抛射(Coronal Mass Ejection,CME)是一种强烈的太阳爆发现象,对空间天气和人类生活有巨大的影响,因此,日冕物质抛射检测对预报日冕物质抛射、保障人类的生产生活安全具有重要意义。现有的日冕物质抛射检测多采用人为定义特征和界定阈值等方法。由于人为定义特征不能准确表征日冕物质抛射且具有普适性的阈值难于选择,现有的方法对日冕物质抛射的检测效果有待提高。提出一种基于Faster R-CNN(Faster Region-based Convolutional Neural Networks)的日冕物质抛射检测算法。该方法首先结合CDAW(Coordinated Data Analysis Workshop Data Center),SEEDS(Solar Eruptive Even Detection System)和CACTus(Computer Aoded CME Tracking software package)3个著名的日冕物质抛射目录信息,人工标注了包含9113幅日冕图像的数据集,然后根据日冕物质抛射的图像特征较自然图像少、目标尺寸与自然图像有差异等特点,在特征提取和锚点选择方面对Faster R-CNN进行改进。以2007年6月的日冕物质抛射标注数据为测试集,本文算法检出了全部22个强日冕物质抛射事件和151个弱日冕物质抛射事件中的138个,对日冕物质抛射事件的中心角和角宽度等特征参数的检测误差分别在5°和10°以内。  相似文献

在许多激变射电源(Blazar天体)中,观测到一种非常特别的现象,即偏振角的快速旋转.在相对论喷流的框架下,这种偏振角的旋转可以用双成分模型来解释.在这个模型中,一个成分是作为背景喷流本身的辐射,是恒定不变的成分;另一个成分被认为是沿喷流传播的相对论性激波,它产生变化的流量和偏振.这两个成分的偏系辐射的叠加可以产生观测到的偏振角旋转。本文讨论了三个激变射电源(BL Lac,AO0235+164,0727-115)中发生的偏振角旋转.结果表明,用相对论喷流-激波双成分模型可以很好地拟合观测到的偏振角旋转、偏振度和流量变化。说明射电激变源中出现的快速偏振和流量变化可能是由于相对论激波沿喷流传播时,激波辐射区中磁场取向和有序性以及强度和电子密度的变化所引起的。  相似文献

日冕物质抛射(Coronal Mass Ejection, CME)的检测是建立CME事件库和实现对CME在行星际传播的预报的重要前提. 通过Visual Geometry Group (VGG) 16卷积神经网络方法对日冕仪图像进行自动分类. 基于大角度光谱日冕仪(Large Angle and Spectrometric Coronagraph Experiment, LASCO) C2的白光日冕仪图像, 根据是否观测到CME对图像进行标记. 将标记分类的数据集用于VGG模型的训练, 该模型在测试集分类的准确率达到92.5%. 根据检测得到的标签结果, 结合时空连续性规则, 消除了误判区域, 有效分类出CME图像序列. 与Coordinated Data Analysis Workshops (CDAW)人工事件库比较, 分类出的CME图像序列能够较完整地包含CME事件, 且对弱CME结构有较高的检测灵敏度. 未来先进天基太阳天文台(Advanced Space-based Solar Observatory, ASO-S)卫星的莱曼阿尔法太阳望远镜将搭载有白光日冕仪(Solar Corona Imager, SCI), 使用此分类方法将该仪器产生的日冕图像按有无CME分类. 含CME标签的图像将推送给中国的各空间天气预报中心, 对CME进行预警.  相似文献

不同太阳观测站间存在观测时间、观测范围、观测设备等差异,为了方便科学研究,有必要找到不同观测站间太阳图像自动配准与定位的方法。提出了基于尺度不变特征点匹配的太阳磁场图像配准与定位方法。首先,对原始图像进行对比度增强、降采样等预处理;其次,采用尺度不变特征检测算法提取两图的尺度不变特征点;然后,寻找同名点的方法对两幅图像特征点进行粗配准和粗定位;最后,基于粗定位区域实现太阳磁场图像的精确配准和定位。开展了不同时段磁场图像的配准和定位实验,对匹配点对数、匹配准确率、匹配误差等参数进行了定量分析,实验结果表明,该方法可以自动、准确、快速地实现太阳磁场图像的配准与定位。  相似文献

在早期的文章中,基于耀变体(Blazar)的知识,我们预言了在射电噪活动星系核(AGN)中心10 kpc范围内X射线喷流的存在.钱得拉(Chandra)卫星最近对低功率射电星系的X射线观测与我们的预言相一致.在本文中我们研究了kpc尺度喷流中的电子加速,并建议通过对强的FR Ⅱ射电星系中所预言的X射线喷流的钱得拉卫星的X射线的观测,来研究红的耀变体中的康普顿冷却以及在内部致密喷流和大尺度延伸喷流间环境的不同.以上的研究可以进一步检验我们的关于射电噪活动星系核中kpc尺度X射线喷流的模型.  相似文献

S5 2007+777是一个典型的低峰值频率的蝎虎天体,该天体具有kpc尺度的X射线喷流,文献中利用模型估算的方法,得出X射线波段的多普勒因子达到13.0,从而喷流尺度可以达到Mpc量级.在此,搜集了有关S5 2007+777的欧洲甚长基线射电干涉网(European VLBI Network, EVN)高分辨率档案数据、美国甚长基线射电干涉网(Very Long Baseline Array, VLBA) 15 GHz观测数据等,研究了喷流的射电结构、亮温度、自行等方面的性质,发现该源的甚长基线干涉测量(Very Long Baseline Interferometry,VLBI)不同波段的喷流方向一致,但与文献中给出的kpc尺度的X射线喷流和甚大阵(Very Large Array, VLA)射电喷流方向存在一定的差异,说明该源的喷流辐射存在多普勒增亮效应.由VLBI观测得到的亮温度,估算了该源的射电多普勒因子的平均值及中值均为5.0,此值小于文献中X射线波段的多普勒因子,但与文献中利用其他方法得到的射电波段多普勒因子是一致的;另外,对多历元观测数据的拟合发现此源相同波段的各个成分在长历元上没有明显的自行,短历元上的自行甚至是视超光速运动.这可能是由低表面亮度成分中心位置的转移造成的.这同时也验证了之前估算的射电多普勒因子不是很大,小于X射线波段多普勒因子的结论.利用所得到的射电多普勒因子,发现该源具有较大尺度的本征射电喷流,可达到0.5 Mpc,由于这里使用的是均值,因此说明该源也有可能具有接近巨射电星系尺度的喷流.  相似文献

很多伽玛射线暴应当是产生于极端相对论性的喷流.关于喷流,绝大多数的讨论都是围绕锥状喷流展开.然而有观测发现,一些天体中的喷流在很长距离上始终保持着几乎不变的截面积,即表现为柱状喷流.研究致密介质环境中有侧向膨胀的柱状喷流的余辉,描述其动力学演化和辐射过程,分别得到解析解和数值解,并对两者进行了对比.研究的暴周星际介质是光学厚的,在初始的主暴阶段,喷流辐射出高度准直的高能射线,升华了暴周介质,形成一个在光学波段光学薄的柱状通道.余辉阶段,由于喷流是有侧向膨胀的,观测者只能收集到视觉面积占比例越来越小的光学辐射,理论上可得到衰减极为快速的光变曲线,流量随时间的衰减约为Svα t-p-1(p为电子幂律分布的谱指数).如此迅速的衰减使得光学余辉将难以被观测到,提供了一种对暗伽玛射线暴的解释.  相似文献

太阳图像中存在各种不同尺度、亮度和结构的物理活动现象,由于太阳日冕高动态活动和传感器设备等因素的影响,太阳图像成像质量不佳。根据太阳动力学天文台(Solar Dynamic Observatory,SDO)的大气成像仪(Atmospheric Imaging Assenbly,AIA)拍摄不同波段数据结构的动态范围大、噪声大、结构相对模糊等特点,提出一种基于盲退卷积的图像增强方法。首先对图像进行去噪和降低动态范围的处理,基于图像功率谱的分布假设,从原图中估计点扩散函数(Point Spread Function,PSF)的功率谱;然后使用相位提取算法恢复点扩散函数的相位,再退卷积得出较高质量的目标图像;最后通过轮廓切片分析、功率谱分析以及点扩散函数分析对增强结果进行定量和定性评价。实验结果表明,相比现有的图像增强方法,该方法在有效增强太阳日冕图像细节结构的同时,能够复原原图中因模糊无法识别的结构。  相似文献

We present an automatic algorithm to detect coronal mass ejections (CMEs) in Large Angle Spectrometric Coronagraph (LASCO) C2 running difference images. The algorithm includes 3 steps: (1) split the running difference images into blocks according to slice size and analyze the grayscale statistics of the blocks from a set of images with and without CMEs; (2) select the optimal parameters for slice size, gray threshold and fraction of the bright points and (3) use AdaBoost to combine the weak classifiers designed according to the optimal parameters. Experimental results show that our method is effective and has a high accuracy rate.  相似文献

We propose and test a wavelet transform modulus maxima method for the automated detection and extraction of coronal loops in extreme ultraviolet images of the solar corona. This method decomposes an image into a number of size scales and tracks enhanced power along each ridge corresponding to a coronal loop at each scale. We compare the results across scales and suggest the optimum set of parameters to maximize completeness, while minimizing detection of noise. For a test coronal image, we compare the global statistics (e.g. number of loops at each length) to previous automated coronal-loop detection algorithms.  相似文献

We present an automatic algorithm to detect, characterize, and classify coronal mass ejections (CMEs) in Large Angle Spectrometric Coronagraph (LASCO) C2 and C3 images. The algorithm includes three steps: (1) production running difference images of LASCO C2 and C3; (2) characterization of properties of CMEs such as intensity, height, angular width of span, and speed, and (3) classification of strong, median, and weak CMEs on the basis of CME characterization. In this work, image enhancement, segmentation, and morphological methods are used to detect and characterize CME regions. In addition, Support Vector Machine (SVM) classifiers are incorporated with the CME properties to distinguish strong CMEs from other weak CMEs. The real-time CME detection and classification results are recorded in a database to be available to the public. Comparing the two available CME catalogs, SOHO/LASCO and CACTus CME catalogs, we have achieved accurate and fast detection of strong CMEs and most of weak CMEs.  相似文献

In the observation of space objects with a full-frame transfer CCD camera, the camera shutter is often removed, and therefore the smeared images are produced, which affect seriously the object detection and location. Based on the difference of geometrical morphology between star images and smears, a mathematical morphology method is proposed to process the smeared images. By comparing the position accuracies of stars and space objects before and after processing, it is veri?ed that the morphological method can effectively remove the smears from astronomical images, and can signi?cantly improve the detection rates and position accuracies of stars and moving objects. The result indicates that this is an effective method to eliminate the smearing effect.  相似文献

The curvature of thin coronal rays was measured during their passage above the solar polar regions. We found that the coronal rays were convex in the direction of their motion along the position angle. The pattern illustrates clearly Parker's idea on the spiral interplanetary magnetic field formation. However, the amount of deviation from radial direction was found to be 2–3 times larger than that estimated using the simple relation obtained from the conservation of angular momentum of a gas jet emitted by a rotating body. We discuss a possible reason for the discrepancy.  相似文献

The results of very long baseline interferometry (VLBI) total intensity ( I ) and linear polarization ( P ) observations at     are presented for 10 radio bright BL Lacertae objects. These images complete first-epoch polarization observations for the 1-Jy sample of northern BL Lacertae objects defined by Kühr & Schmidt. Estimates of superluminal speeds are presented for several sources, bringing the total number of sources in the sample for which such estimates are available to 16. Second-epoch observations currently being reduced should yield speed estimates for VLBI features in essentially all the sources in the sample. The jet magnetic fields of these BL Lacertae objects are usually transverse to the local jet direction, but a sizeable minority (about 30 per cent) have VLBI jet components with longitudinal magnetic fields. This may suggest that the conditions in the VLBI jets of BL Lacertae objects are favourable for the formation of relativistic shocks; alternatively, it may be that the toroidal component of the intrinsic jet magnetic field is characteristically dominant in these sources.  相似文献

We propose a new feature-detection technique based on phase-congruency (PC) measurements to automatically recognize or enhance faint features in solar observations, such as off-limb coronal loops and umbral dots. Compared with other feature-detection methods that are based on gradient illuminance and imaging filtering, PC-based measurements are particular efficient for recognizing faint features, which generally have a low-intensity contrast to their surroundings. In the present article, we carry out a PC-based measurement of the local weighted mean phase angle (LWMPA) at each point in an image to indicate or highlight low-contrast features. We first used artificial images to check the detection accuracy and sensitivity to the noise of this approach. Subsequently, we applied this approach to an EUV observation obtained by the Solar Dynamics Observatory/Atmospheric Imaging Assembly to highlight off-limb coronal loops, and a photospheric observation obtained by the Hinode/Solar Optical Telescope to recognize faint dots within the cores of sunspots and pores. The results illustrate that this PC-based measurement of the LWMPA is a robust detection method for faint structures in solar observations.  相似文献

In the record of the balloon observation which was performed on 27 September, 1970, a transient burst of X-rays was found. This event is concluded to be a cosmic gamma-ray burst of a smaller size or of a larger distance compared to the Vela bursts observed over the X-ray energy range. The energy spectrum is consistent with that of some of the Vela bursts. The time profile of the event is qualitatively similar to the 27 April, 1972 event studied by Apollo 16. The detection of small bursts over the X-ray energy range by the balloon observation during a period of the order of 10 to 100 h is not surprising considering a probable frequency-size distribution of the burst.Paper presented at the COSPAR Symposium on Fast Transients in X- and Gamma-Rays, held at Varna, Bulgaria, 29–31 May, 1975.  相似文献

We identify coronal holes using a histogram-based intensity thresholding technique and compare their properties to fast solar wind streams at three different points in the heliosphere. The thresholding technique was tested on EUV and X-ray images obtained using instruments onboard STEREO, SOHO and Hinode. The full-disk images were transformed into Lambert equal-area projection maps and partitioned into a series of overlapping sub-images from which local histograms were extracted. The histograms were used to determine the threshold for the low intensity regions, which were then classified as coronal holes or filaments using magnetograms from the SOHO/MDI. For all three instruments, the local thresholding algorithm was found to successfully determine coronal hole boundaries in a consistent manner. Coronal hole properties extracted using the segmentation algorithm were then compared with in situ measurements of the solar wind at ~?1 AU from ACE and STEREO. Our results indicate that flux tubes rooted in coronal holes expand super-radially within 1 AU and that larger (smaller) coronal holes result in longer (shorter) duration high-speed solar wind streams.  相似文献

日冕物质抛射(Coronal Mass Ejection, CME)是一种剧烈的太阳爆发现象, 它会对行星际空间造成严重扰动, 进而影响人类生产、生活. 基于CME的时空显著性, 将显著性检测方法引入到CME检测中, 利用结构化矩阵分解SOHO (Solar and Heliospheric Observatory)的大角度光谱日冕仪(Large Angle and Spectrometric Coronagraph Experiment, LASCO) C2的日冕图像对应的特征矩阵, 从中恢复出稀疏部分获得显著前景. 然后考虑CME运动时产生的时间显著性, 从而去除非CME结构(如冕流), 得到最终检测结果. 实验表明, 以人工目录协调数据分析中心(Coordinated Data Analysis Workshop, CDAW)检测结果为基准时, 所提方法不仅在检测CME数量上比计算机辅助跟踪软件包(Computer Aided CME Tracking Software package, CACTus)和太阳爆发事件检测系统(Solar Eruptive Event Detection System, SEEDS)有优势, 还在CME中心角度和张角宽度等特征物理参数测量上比CACTus和SEEDS更接近CDAW目录参考值.  相似文献
