The Sanbagawa metamorphic rocks in the Besshi district, central Shikoku, are grouped into eclogite and noneclogite units. Chloritoid and barroisite-bearing pelitic schists occur as interlayers within basic schist in an eclogite unit of the Seba area in the Sanbagawa metamorphic belt, central Shikoku, Japan. Major matrix phases of the schists are garnet, chlorite, barroisite, paragonite, phengite, and quartz. Eclogite facies phases including chloritoid and talc are preserved only as inclusions in garnet. PT conditions for the eclogite facies stage estimated using equilibria among chloritoid, barroisite, chlorite, interlayered chlorite–talc, paragonite, and garnet are 1.8 GPa/520–550 °C. Zonal structures of garnet and matrix amphibole show discontinuous growth of minerals between their core and mantle parts, implying the following metamorphic stages: prograde eclogite facies stage→hydration reaction stage→prograde epidote–amphibolite stage. This metamorphic history suggests that the Seba eclogite lithologies were (1) juxtaposed with subducting noneclogite lithologies during exhumation and then (2) progressively recrystallized under the epidote–amphibolite facies together with the surrounding noneclogite lithologies.

The pelitic schists in the Seba eclogite unit contain paragonite of two generations: prograde phase of the eclogite facies included in garnet and matrix phase produced by local reequilibration of sodic pyroxene-bearing eclogite facies assemblages during exhumation. Paragonite is absent in the common Sanbagawa basic and pelitic schists, and is, however, reported from restricted schists from several localities near the proposed eclogite unit in the Besshi district. These paragonite-bearing schists could be lower-pressure equivalents of the former eclogite facies rocks and are also members of the eclogite unit. This idea implies that the eclogite unit is more widely distributed in the Besshi district than previously thought.  相似文献

松多绿片岩分布于拉萨地块中部的松多地区,因对其时代及构造属性研究程度一直较低,严重制约了对松多古特提斯洋演化的认识.在详细野外地质调查基础上,对松多附近的绿片岩进行了LA-ICP-MS锆石U-Pb同位素测试,以及锆石Hf同位素分析,并开展了岩石学和全岩地球化学研究.在松多绿片岩中获得锆石U-Pb年龄约为232 Ma,为中三叠世,代表了绿片岩的原岩成岩时代.其锆石εHf(t)平均为3.6,显示弱亏损地幔的特征.岩石学和地球化学研究揭示,绿片岩原岩具有拉斑质基性岩特征,在球粒陨石标准化稀土元素配分曲线和原始地幔标准化多元素蛛网图中均为平坦型,与N-MORB相似.在各类判别图解上,也都落入N-MORB区域,表明松多绿片岩原岩可能为松多古特提斯洋壳残片.松多中三叠世绿片岩的识别,说明松多古特提斯洋可能在中三叠世时还存在洋盆.   相似文献

Summary The Jinchuan deposit is a platinum group element (PGE)-rich sulfide deposit in China. Drilling and surface sampling show that three categories of platinum group element (PGE) mineralization occur; type I formed at magmatic temperatures, type II occurs in hydrothermally altered zones of the intrusion, and type III in sheared dunite and lherzolite. All ore types were analyzed for Os, Ir, Ru, Rh, Pd, Pt and Au, as well as for Cu, Ni, Co and S. Type I ore has (Pt + Pd)/(Os + Ir + Ru + Rh) ratios of <7 and relatively flat chondrite-normalized noble metal patterns; the platinum group minerals (PGM) are dominated by sperrylite and moncheite associated with chalcopyrite, pyrrhotite and pentlandite. Type II has (Pt + Pd)/(Os + Ir + Ru + Rh) ratios from 40 to 330 and noble metal distribution patterns with a positive slope; the most common PGM are sperrylite and Pd bismuthotelluride phases concentrated mostly at the margins of base metal sulfides. Type III ores have the highest (Pt + Pd)/(Os + Ir + Ru + Rh) ratios from 240 to 710; the most abundant PGM are sperrylite and phases of the Pt–Pd–Te–Bi–As–Cl system. It is concluded that the Jinchuan deposit formed as a result of primary magmatic crystallization followed by hydrothermal remobilization, transport, and deposition of the PGE.  相似文献

滇西大平掌铜多金属矿床具典型的“双层结构”。对上部盆地相的块状硫化物和下部通道相的细脉浸染状硫化物的稀土元素分析表明,前者具正Eu异常的球粒陨石标准化配分模式,后者具负Eu异常的配分模式。这种变化与成矿流体演化有关。通过与大西洋中脊TAG热液活动区表层沉积硫化物和黑烟囱流体等的稀土元素配分模式对比,可以认为成矿是火山喷流沉积作用的结果。  相似文献

Gabbro xenoliths reported in this paper were collected in northern Fuerteventura, the Canary Island located closest to the coast of Africa. The xenoliths are very fresh and consist of Ti–Al-poor clinopyroxene + plagioclase (An87–67) + olivine (Fo72–86) ± orthopyroxene. Clinopyroxene and orthopyroxene are constantly and markedly depleted in light rare earth elements (LREE) relative to heavy REE (HREE), as expected for cumulus minerals formed from highly refractory N-MORB-type melts. In contrast, whole-rock Primordial Mantle-normalized trace element patterns range from mildly S-shaped (mildly depleted in Pr–Sm relative to both the strongly incompatible elements Rb–La and the HREE) to enriched. Estimates show that the trace element compositions of the rocks and their minerals are compatible with formation as N-MORB gabbro cumulates, which have been infiltrated at various extents (≤1% to >5%) by enriched alkali basaltic melts. The enriched material is mainly concentrated along grain boundaries and cracks through mineral grains, suggesting that the infiltration is relatively recent, and is thus associated with the Canary Islands magmatism. Our data contradict the hypothesis that a mantle plume was present in this area during the opening of the Atlantic Ocean. No evidence of continental material that might reflect attenuated continental crust in the area has been found. Gabbro xenoliths with REE and trace element compositions similar to those exhibited by the Fuerteventura gabbros are also found among gabbro xenoliths from the islands of La Palma (western Canary Islands) and Lanzarote. The compositions of the most depleted samples from these islands are closely similar, implying that there was no significant change in chemistry during the early stages of formation of the Atlantic oceanic crust in this area. Strongly depleted gabbros similar to those collected in Fuerteventura have also been retrieved in the MARK area along the central Mid-Atlantic Ridge. The presence of N-MORB oceanic crust beneath Fuerteventura implies that the continent–ocean transition in the Canary Islands area must be relatively sharp, in contrast to the situation both further north along the coast of Morocco, and along the Iberian peninsula.  相似文献

Ongoing underground exploration in the giant Jinchuan Ni-Cu sulfide deposit in western China is beginning to emphasize the potential for Cu-, Pt-, and Pd-rich sulfide ores that may have formed by sulfide liquid fractionation. The success of such an effort relies on whether or not fractional crystallization of sulfide occurred in the Jinchuan system. In this paper, we used available PGE data to evaluate such a process. We found that about two thirds of the 126 samples analyzed to date exhibit significant decoupling not only between Pt and Pd but also between Ru, Rh, and Ir. The best explanation for the decoupling is postmagmatic hydrothermal alteration, which affected not only silicates but also sulfides. The effects of postmagmatic alteration must be considered when using metal and isotopic ratios to evaluate primary mineralization. PGE variations in the remaining one third of the samples with Ir/(Ir + Ru) = 0.3–0.7, Ir/(Ir + Rh) = 0.4–0.8, and Pt/(Pt + Pd) = 0.3–0.7 indicate variable R-factors within individual ore bodies as well as the entire deposit, consistent with the interpretation that multiple sulfide-bearing magmas from depth were involved in the formation of the Jinchuan deposit. The mantle-normalized PGE patterns of the least-altered samples from the Jinchuan deposit are similar to the picrite-related Pechenga Ni-Cu sulfide deposit in Russia. PGE variations that can be related to sulfide liquid fractionation are observed in orebody-1 and orebody-24 but not in orebody-2 at Jinchuan. Exploration for Cu-, Pt-, and Pd-rich sulfide ores that may have been expelled into fractures in the footwalls of orebody-1 and orebody-24 appears to be justified.  相似文献

四川牦牛坪稀土矿床是中国第二大轻稀土矿床。笔者对该矿床进行了较系统的Pb—Sr—Nd同位素、稀有气体同位素地球化学以及稀土元素地球化学研究。稀土元素地球化学特征研究显示,矿区萤石、方解石、氟碳铈矿稀土元素分布模式与区内英碱正长岩相似,表明牦牛坪稀土矿床成矿与英碱正长岩岩浆活动有关以及石英包裹体流体REE曲线平直,Eu与Ce无明显异常,曲线规律性较强,可以认为牦牛坪轻稀土矿床成矿流体稀土元素是深源的。Pb—Sr—Nd同位素组成表明成矿物质来自富集地幔,具深源甚至幔源特征。稀有气体同位素地球化学研究也在一定程度上揭示了牦牛坪轻稀土矿化与地幔过程之间存在着成因关系。  相似文献

对金川超大型铜镍岩浆硫化物矿床岩石、矿石的铂族元素地球化学特征研究表明 ,金川岩体的平均Cu/Pd值远大于原生地幔岩浆的Cu/Pd值 ,说明其岩石为因硫化物析离而失去Pd的岩浆所结晶 ;且岩石的PGE具有部分熔融趋势 ,与地幔橄榄岩接近 ,这些均指示存在岩浆熔离作用。该矿床岩石、矿石的PGE球粒陨石标准化分布模式比较对应 ,均可分为两种类型 ,反映了岩浆多次侵入、熔离分异同时成岩成矿的特征。另外 ,PGE S关系分析表明其成岩成矿过程中有少量地壳物质混染。PGE地球化学特征参数还指示了其高镁拉斑玄武质母岩浆的性质。  相似文献

在墨江金矿区发现了两个热水喷流沉积旋回,赋矿地层烂山段出露的硅质岩和(黄铁矿)硫化物岩具有低TiO2,Al2O3和富含As,Sb,Au,Ag,Hg含量特征,稀土元素具有总量低,轻稀土总量高于重稀土特征,其球粒陨石标准化模式为向右倾曲线,大多数样品具有负Eu异常;而其北美页岩标准化曲线向左倾,在SiO2-Al2O3,Al-Fe-Mn和Al2O3-TFeO-CaO等地球化学图解上,大多数样品位于热水沉积区,当样品中含有火山角砾成分时偏离热水沉积区,研究表明硅质岩和(黄铁矿)硫化物岩主要由热水喷流沉积形成的,再结合矿床地质特征,认为墨江金矿存在早期热水喷流沉积成岩成矿作用,形成了矿化或低品位矿石,并可能与下伏火山喷发有关,这为墨江金矿的成因研究和进一步找矿开辟新的思路。  相似文献

The Na Son deposit is a small‐scale Pb–ZnPb–Zn–Ag deposit in northeast Vietnam and consists of biotite–chlorite schist, reddish altered rocks, quartz veins and syenite. The biotite–chlorite schist is intruded by syenite. Reddish altered rocks occur as an alteration halo between the biotite–allanite‐bearing quartz veins and the biotite–chlorite schist. Allanite occurs in the biotite–allanite‐bearing quartz veins and in the proximal reddish altered rocks. Rare earth element (REE) fluorocarbonate minerals occur along fractures or at rim of allanite crystals. The later horizontal aggregates of sulfide veins and veinlets cut the earlier reddish altered rocks. The earlier Pb–Zn veins consist of a large amount of galena and lesser amounts of sphalerite, pyrite and molybdenite. The later Cu veins cutting the Pb–Zn veins include chalcopyrite and lesser amounts of tetrahedrite and pyrite. The occurrences of two‐phase H2O–CO2 fluid inclusions in quartz from biotite–allanite‐bearing quartz veins and REE‐bearing fluorocarbonate minerals in allanite suggest the presence of CO2 and F in the hydrothermal fluid. The oxygen isotopic ratios of the reddish altered rocks, biotite–chlorite schist, and syenite range from +13.9 to +14.9 ‰, +11.5 to +13.3 ‰, and +10.1 to +11.6 ‰, respectively. Assuming an isotopic equilibrium between quartz (+14.6 to +15.8 ‰) and biotite (+8.6 ‰) in the biotite–allanite‐bearing quartz vein, formation temperature was estimated to be 400°C. At 400°C, δ18O values of the hydrothermal fluid in equilibrium with quartz and biotite range from +10.5 to +11.7 ‰. These δ18O values are consistent with fluid that is derived from metamorphism. Assuming an isotopic equilibrium between galena (+1.5 to +1.7 ‰) and chalcopyrite (+3.4 ‰), the formation temperature was estimated to be approximately 300°C. The formation temperature of the Na Son deposit decreased with the progress of mineralization. Based on the geological data, occurrence of REE‐bearing minerals and oxygen isotopic ratios, the REE mineralization is thought to result from interaction between biotite–chlorite schist and REE‐, CO2‐ and F‐bearing metamorphic fluid at 400°C under a rock‐dominant condition.  相似文献

The Limahe Ni–Cu sulfide deposit is hosted by a small mafic–ultramafic intrusion (800 × 200 × 300 m) that is temporally associated with the voluminous Permian flood basalts in SW China. The objective of this study is to better understand the origin of the deposit in the context of regional magmatism which is important for the ongoing mineral exploration in the region. The Limahe intrusion is a multiphase intrusion with an ultramafic unit at the base and a mafic unit at the top. The two rock units have intrusive contacts and exhibit similar mantle-normalized trace element patterns and Sr–Nd isotopic compositions but significantly different cumulus mineralogy and major element compositions. The similarities suggest that they are related to a common parental liquid, whereas the differences point to magma differentiation by olivine crystallization at depth. Sulfide mineralization is restricted to the ultramafic unit. The abundances of sulfides in the ultramafic unit generally increase towards the basal contacts with sedimentary footwall. The δ 34S values of sulfide minerals from the Limahe deposit are elevated, ranging from +2.4 to +5.4‰. These values suggest the involvement of external S with elevated δ 34S values. The mantle-normalized platinum-group element (PGE) patterns of bulk sulfide ores are similar to those of picrites associated with flood basalts in the region. The abundances of PGE in the sulfide ores, however, are significantly lower than that of sulfide liquid expected to segregate from undepleted picrite magma. Cr-spinel and olivine are present in the Limahe ultramafic rocks as well as in the picrites. Mantle-normalized trace element patterns of the Limahe intrusion generally resemble those of the picrites. However, negative Nb–Ta anomalies, common features of contamination with the lower or middle crust, are present in the intrusion but absent in the picrites. Sr–Nd isotopes suggest that the Limahe intrusion experienced higher degrees of contamination with the upper crust than did the picrites. The results of this study permit us to suggest that the parental magma of the Limahe intrusion was derived from picritic magma by olivine fractionation and contamination in a staging chamber at mid-crustal levels. Depletion of PGE in the sulfide ores in the Limahe intrusion is likely due to previous sulfide segregation of the parental magmas in the staging chamber. Sulfide mineralization in the Limahe intrusion is related to second-stage sulfide segregation after the fractionated magmas acquired external S from pyrite-bearing country rocks during magma ascent to the Limahe chamber. The abrupt change in mineralogical and chemical compositions between the ultramafic unit and the overlying unit suggests that at least two separate pulses of magma were involved in the development of the Limahe intrusion. We propose that the Limahe intrusion was once a wider part of a dynamic conduit that fed magma to the overlying subvolcanic dykes/sills or lavas. The ultramafic unit formed by the first, relatively more primitive magma, and the mafic unit formed by the second, relatively more fractionated magma. Immiscible sulfide droplets that segregated from the first magma settled down with olivine crystals to form the sulfide-bearing, olivine-rich rocks in the base of the intrusion. The overlying residual liquids were then pushed out of the chamber by the second magma. Critical factors for the formation of an economic Ni–Cu sulfide deposit in such a small intrusion include the dynamic petrologic processes involved and the availability of external sulfur. The Limahe deposit reminds us that small, multiphase, mafic–ultramafic intrusions in the region should not be overlooked for the potential of economic Ni–Cu sulfide deposits.  相似文献

兰坪盆地是中国著名的三江构造-成矿带的重要组成部分。兰坪盆地西缘发育大量沉积岩容矿脉状Cu-Ag-Pb-Zn多 金属矿床,矿体的分布受一个逆冲推覆构造控制。逆冲推覆构造的根部带主要发育脉状Cu-Ag(Mo) 矿床(包括金满 Cu-Ag、连城Cu-Mo及一系列脉状Cu矿床);前锋带主要发育Pb-Zn-Ag(±Cu) 矿床(包括白秧坪Pb-Zn-Ag-Cu多金属矿 集区及一系列小型的Pb-Zn矿床)。为了探讨兰坪盆地西缘脉状Cu-Ag-Pb-Zn多金属矿床成矿时代,该文在系统总结前人年 代学数据的基础上,补充进行了金满Cu矿床与黄铜矿密切共生的方解石的Sm-Nd法和连城Cu-Mo矿床成矿早阶段辉钼矿 的Re-Os法测年。金满Cu矿床方解石Sm-Nd等时线年龄为58±5 Ma,连城Cu-Mo矿床Re-Os年龄为48±2 Ma,结合前人的资 料表明:(1) 根部带Cu矿床主成矿时代为56~48 Ma,对应于印度-亚洲大陆碰撞造山主碰撞阶段,后期(47~35 Ma) 很可 能存在一期Cu-Ag(Mo) 的叠加或改造成矿作用;(2) 前锋带Pb-Zn-Ag(±Cu) 多金属矿床的成矿作用主要发生在31~29 Ma 左右,对应于印度-亚洲大陆碰撞造山的晚碰撞构造转换期。  相似文献

The Karchiga copper massive sulfide deposit is located in the Kurchum block of high-grade metamorphosed rocks. This block is part of the Irtysh shear zone, which belongs to the largest transregional fault in Central Asia. The deposit is associated with the gneiss–amphibolite middle unit of the metamorphic complex, which is distinct in the geochemical fields. The mineralization is spatially and paragenetically related to the amphibolite beds, which are ore-bearing together with terrigenous rocks.The deposit contains two spatially isolated lodes, in which all the discovered commercial reserves concentrate. They conformably overlie the host rocks and are tabular or ribbonlike. The mineralization has a close spatial relationship with Mg-rich anthophyllite-containing rocks. The sulfide ores are disseminated or massive and comprise pyrite, chalcopyrite, pyrrhotite, sphalerite, and magnetite. The ore is of Zn–Cu composition, in which Cu dominates considerably over Zn (average contents 2 and 0.4%, respectively; Cu/(Cu + Zn) = 0.83). The ores are rich in Co (up to 0.16%, averaging 0.02%), poor in Au and Ag (0.3 and 7.2 ppm, respectively), and almost free of Pb and Ba.All the rocks and ores experienced epidote–amphibolitic metamorphism. Meanwhile, the ores experienced a recrystallization and partial regeneration, but the initial shape of the lodes remained unchanged.The essentially chalcopyritic ores, the volcaniclastic ore-bearing rocks, and the spatial and genetic relationship of the mineralization with undifferentiated mafic and siliciclastic rocks suggest that this deposit belongs to the Besshi type, formed in a back-arc environment, near large rises.The studies show that Besshi-type Cu–Zn massive sulfide deposits differ from most of the polymetallic (Kuroko-type) deposits in Rudny Altai in the composition of volcanics and geodynamic settings, but belong to the same evolutionary series in this VMS province. Both types of deposits might have formed in the Paleozoic, during the main peak of VMS generation in the Earth's history.  相似文献

以1号和7号岩体为代表的红旗岭铜镍硫化物矿床,是兴蒙造山带中典型的岩浆熔离型矿床。矿区内共有30多个镁铁-超镁铁质岩体,3号岩体是其中的含矿岩体,多年来因其地质产状与主要含矿岩体不同被认为形成于燕山期。本次工作对采自不同深度岩心样品中的单矿物角闪石进行40Ar/39Ar同位素年代学研究,得到(228.2±3.0 )Ma的坪年龄和(230.1±7.1)Ma的等时线年龄。该年龄和近年发表的红旗岭1号岩体地质年龄基本一致,说明它们均为早印支期岩浆作用的产物。通过对比分析1号和7号主含矿岩体与3号岩体的岩石地球化学特征发现,无论是稀土元素还是微量元素图解均显示了它们具有相同的配分模式,暗示了这些岩体的同源性特点。  相似文献

粤西大沟谷钠长石岩型金矿床主要产于震旦系乐昌峡群呈似层状及脉状分布的钠长石岩中,钠长石岩的岩石化学成分及微量元素组成与金矿体的基本相同。黄铁矿Pb、S同位素组成可分为两组:富放射性成因铅贫^34S体系;贫放射性成因铅富^34S体系,前者与震旦系片岩的组成相似,后者为自较老富基性岩的沉积岩。  相似文献

对安徽新桥矿床进行系统的野外地质调查和矿相学研究发现,层状矿体中的胶状黄铁矿交代矽卡岩磁铁矿矿体,为探讨层状硫化物矿床是早期沉积成因还是岩浆热液成因提供了新的地质约束。对铜陵矿集区内的新桥矿床层状菱铁矿矿体和凤凰山矽卡岩型矿体中的菱铁矿开展了Fe同位素组成的对比研究,结果显示:新桥矿床菱铁矿与典型低温热液脉型矿床和沉积铁矿中的菱铁矿在Fe同位素组成特征上有所不同,而与凤凰山矽卡岩型矿床中的菱铁矿更为接近;新桥矿床中胶状黄铁矿和菱铁矿相对于磁铁矿富集Fe的轻同位素,表明磁铁矿不是过去认为的由胶状黄铁矿和菱铁矿矿胚层经热液改造形成,而是与典型的岩浆热液有关。新桥矿区层状硫化物矿体和矽卡岩型矿体中,近岩体矽卡岩和最早形成的金属矿物磁铁矿比岩体更为富集Fe的轻同位素,而赋矿围岩比岩体更为富集Fe的重同位素。同时,不同矿化阶段形成的含铁矿物和不同空间位置的硫化物中的Fe同位素组成呈现出时空分带现象,Fe同位素组成的时空演化特征与流体出溶、流体演化非常一致,并且符合同位素分馏的基本理论,表明层状硫化物矿体和矽卡岩型矿体具有相同的成矿物质来源,为同一流体体系演化的产物。新桥矿区岩相学的研究结果和Fe同位素组成特征均表明,新桥层状硫化物矿床不是海西期喷流沉积成矿作用的产物,而是燕山期热液成矿作用的产物,为一个典型的热液成因矿床。  相似文献

Fractionation of sulfur isotopes and selenium was measured between coexisting pyrite and chalcopyrite and between coexisting pyrrhotite and chalcopyrite from the Besshi deposit of Kieslager-type, Central Shikoku, Japan. In all the pyrite-chalcopyrite pairs studied, 34S is enriched in pyrite relative to chalcopyrite, while selenium is enriched conversely in chalcopyrite relative to pyrite. The mean 34Spy-cp value is +0.53±0.36 per mil, and the mean value of the distribution coefficient of selenium, Dcp-py, is 2.58±0.64. In all the pyrrhotite-chalcopyrite pairs studied, the two minerals are very close to each other both in sulfur isotope and Se/S ratios. The mean 34Spo-cp value is –0.08±0.16 per mil and the mean Dcp-po value is 0.99±0.05. The results have been discussed in comparison with similar data obtained for the Hitachi deposits of Kieslager-type, Japan (Yamamoto et al. 1983).  相似文献

福建梅仙铅锌(银)矿床位于闽中裂谷带,是一大型多金属VMS型块状硫化物矿床。在详细野外地质考察基础上,通过对梅仙铅锌(银)矿区花岗斑岩2个样品的LA-ICP-MS锆石U-Pb年代学研究,确定其为燕山期花岗斑岩((148.9±1.4)Ma,(152.0±2.1) Ma)。全岩地球化学分析结果表明:所研究花岗斑岩具有高硅、富钾、中等含量的铝和全碱以及弱过铝质等特征。其稀土元素配分曲线普遍向右缓倾,且重稀土元素分配曲线比较平坦,富集大离子亲石元素和高强场元素,不具明显的Nb、Ta亏损,是产于碰撞后构造背景之下的高钾钙碱性I型花岗岩,其母岩浆形成后发生了角闪石、黑云母和斜长石等矿物高程度的结晶分异作用。梅仙矿区花岗斑岩在空间上与铅锌硫化物矿体和赋矿层位关系密切,岩浆富含挥发分和大离子亲石元素,分异程度高,表明该燕山中期岩浆活动有利于矿区矽卡岩化成矿作用,并可对早期层控块状硫化物矿体进行强烈的叠加改造。  相似文献
