基于平板探测器的口腔锥形束计算机断层成像(CBCT)具有X射线Z方向(本文中指平行于CT旋转轴的方向)宽准直、180°至360°投影角度范围可选、扫描视野尺寸可调节、全扇束或半扇束偏置模式可选等特点。受检者头部的吸收剂量分布与传统多排探测器CT (MDCT)和其他临床CBCT (例如放射治疗图像引导的CBCT、介入手术的CBCT等)的吸收剂量分布相比更加复杂。因此,至今还没有有效的、取得国际共识的口腔CBCT剂量评估模式。本文调研了CT剂量评估的相关研究,将口腔CBCT剂量评估模式总结为由相互联系的剂量表征量和受检者医疗照射剂量(本文中指基于人群平均数据的有效剂量和受检者特异的组织器官吸收剂量)两个层面构成。同时指出,口腔CBCT剂量表征量研究的关键问题是如何准确地描述口腔CBCT扫描一个均匀圆柱体模时,体模的垂直于Z方向的中间平面的吸收剂量分布规律,目前,面平均吸收剂量是最有潜力解决该问题的剂量表征量;口腔CBCT可以直接采用MDCT的受检者医疗照射剂量评估原理,但还需要解决的关键问题是如何提供准确的受检者对X射线的衰减情况;同时,口腔CBCT的剂量评估模式研究还应该探讨锥形束X射线阳极效应、锥角效应的影响。   相似文献

Abstract Upon studying the well preserved skulls referred to Paleoparadoxia tabatai from Japan, the short and low skull of the Yanagawa specimen requires an explanation. Six cranial and dental characters lead us to suggest that the Yanagawa individual is a female while the Izumi, Ohnohara, and Itsukaichi skulls are male. The important characters in the Yanagawa skull are its shortness and shallow depth, less pronounced sagittal and nuchal crests, smaller zygoma, and the small dentition with especially poorly erupted canines, most of which are indicative of weak masticatory musculature.  相似文献

This paper presents a synthesis of the combined Uranium-Series/ESR age results obtained on fossil teeth from several Early Pleistocene archaeological and/or palaeontological Spanish localities: Atapuerca Gran Dolina TD-6, Fuente Nueva-3, Barranco León, Venta Micena and Vallparadís. While the age results show some scattering, they are nevertheless encouraging and provide a significant contribution to the understanding of the first hominin settlements in Western Europe.These “old” samples are mainly characterised by high 230Th/234U activity ratios that may sometimes exceed secular equilibrium, and by high Uranium concentrations (several tens of ppm or more). The modelling of U-uptake is therefore really crucial for the age calculation process. In the case of the combined US–ESR approach, this uptake is derived from the U-series data measured in dental tissues, which seem to be strongly dependant on the hydro-geological context. Consequently, when dating “old” samples, a special attention has to be paid to the accuracy and the meaning of the U-series data collected from the dental tissues, which may be influenced by several factors such as spatial heterogeneity and recent U-uptake overprint. Some rapid scanning procedures should be developed in order to pre-identify the samples that are the most suitable for ESR dating.  相似文献

The establishment of a chronology for late Middle Palaeolithic sites on the right bank of the Rhône valley in southeastern France is important for the knowledge of Neandertal dynamics and their demise in this area. The suite of dating methods that are directly applicable to fossils is limited for this period, especially around 50 ka where radiocarbon dating is beyond its technical limits. Currently applied to Middle and Lower Pleistocene periods, the use of combined ESR/U-series dating on Upper Pleistocene samples led to new issues, such as the acquisition of an age for samples yielding low equivalent doses and low uranium content in dental tissues. The gamma dose rate measurement thus plays a key role in age calculation. Beyond the discussion on methodological issues, the present study contributes to the establishment of a chronological framework that covers the Neandertal occupations between MIS 5 and MIS 3 for this area.  相似文献

Although the early Pleistocene hominin fossils found in East Asia continent are widely recognized as the earliest hominins migrated from Africa, debates remain on the morphology and taxonomy of these fossils. In this study, dental crown shape of the three early Pleistocene hominin teeth (P3, M1, and M1) found in Jianshi, Hubei Province of China was analyzed by means of geometric morphometrics. The comparative samples of fossil hominins from Africa, Asia, and Europe as well as those of modern humans (N=257) were used. The results indicate that the contour, asymmetry, and cusp patterns of these three types of teeth differ obviously between the fossil hominins and modern humans. The crown shape of P3 in most fossil hominins including Australopithecus, African early Homo, and Asian Pleistocene hominins are asymmetric with their crown occlusal contours long and curving elliptic-shaped. The occlusal contour of the fossil hominin M1 is symmetric and rectangle-shaped with no marked cusp protrusion. The crown shape of fossil M1 is characterized by asymmetric contour with slightly projected metaconid and hypoconid. On the contrary, in modern Chinese and some European late Pleistocene hominins, the crowns of P3s show symmetric contours with buccal side wider than lingual side; the crown shape of M1 is asymmetric with lingual cusp distal-placed, especially for hypoconid; the M1 has symmetric and round crown contour. Our study reveals that Australopithecus has wide variations in its crown shape, whereas these dental morphospaces of Asian hominins are closely placed. The crown contour, symmetry, and cusp patterns of these three teeth of Jianshi hominin resemble those of Asian early and middle Pleistocene hominins. No marked difference in dental crown shape is shown between the Jianshi hominin and other Chinese Homo erectus, and there is also no evidence in support of the Jianshi hominin’s closeness to Australopithecus and African early Homo members.  相似文献

During the last two decades, extensive road-construction works in Northern France have allowed the discovery of numerous Middle Palaeolithic sites. Geological and multidisciplinary studies performed on these localities allowed the establishment of a precise chronostratigraphical and biostratigraphical framework of regional significance, which could be correlated to the global marine palaeoclimatic scale. Each human occupation layer has been linked to this regional framework, thus providing a stratigraphical age-control for the Middle Palaeolithic human settlements of this area.At the same time, a program of geochronological studies was developed using TL, OSL, U-series, ESR and, as often as possible, ESR/U-series methods. Hence, bones and teeth recovered from archaeological sites of Savy, Ault, Caours, Gentelles and La Celle-sur-Seine, were analyzed and the results compared to the chronostratigraphical ages. The age results are generally in good agreement with the geological data while bones and dental tissues display in some cases U-series ages higher that the EU-ESR ones, suggesting U-loss phenomena.  相似文献

The philosophy of ‘working with nature’ and ‘working with the river’ is increasingly embedded in global management practice. However, what does this mean? Has real progress been made in operationalizing what is known, how scientists and practitioners work and how rivers are conceptualized as integral parts of landscapes, culture and society? The first sections of this commentary outline what this philosophy means to us (the authors) and briefly summarize the evolution of associated concepts and principles in recent decades. In the final section, we comment on what we believe needs to be done to ‘work with the river’ in practice. We are communicating to both river scientists and practitioners as a collective when we ask: Will we be brave enough to hold the course in the face of many global challenges, be ready to respond when called upon, and commit to creation of diverse, inclusive and open access communities of practice in geoethical programmes that ‘work with the river’?  相似文献

千伏级锥束CT在放射治疗、外科手术、口腔疾病诊断等领域都有广泛的应用。然而,频繁地使用千伏级锥束CT,也会给患者甚至医生带来额外的射线辐射损伤。相关统计结果表明,X射线辐射能够诱发癌症,特别是儿童和女性对射线辐射异常敏感。因此,合理使用锥束CT,同时降低锥束CT辐射剂量,对于降低射线辐射并发症风险显得非常重要。本文总结了降低锥束CT辐射剂量的常用措施,包括降低管电流、局部扫描、脉冲扫描、短扫描以及少投影扫描。辐射剂量的降低有可能会在重建图像中引入噪声、伪影。针对特定的问题,本文也提出了对应的补偿方法。   相似文献

In-stream mining is a common aggregate mining practice around the world. However, the impacts of such practice are not always taken into account when the mines are established, and the environmental cost of in-stream aggregate mining is generally not assessed. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the impacts of aggregate mining conducted in La Puerta River (Tafí valley, Northwest Argentina), a dry-pit in-stream mine, by considering the geomorphological, geoarchaeological, and human effects. Multitemporal analysis of the area using remote sensors (aerial photographs and satellite images 1970–2020), high-resolution drone digital elevation models and orthomosaics (2018–2019), and an intensive survey demonstrated that the mining area grew exponentially between 2002 and 2020 under unregulated mining. As a result, this practice exerts great environmental impact, including channel section alterations and destabilization of riverbanks, soil loss, river profile changes, and the formation of lag deposits of discarded materials, thus increasing environmental hazard under unpredictable flows. Finally, this is a highly touristic area that has suffered substantial landscape degradation and irreversible archaeological damage.  相似文献

Abstract Desmostylians from the Pacific coasts of Japan and North America are compared and taxonomy and adaptations in the mammalian order Desmostylia discussed. The taxonomy is based mainly on teeth and skulls. Feeding adaptations and habitat are discussed using teeth and restored skeletons, respectively. In the extinct order two families, six genera and 10 species can now be recognized. Each genus is distinguished by a set of tooth characters. The three species of the genus Paleoparadoxia have different body sizes. Two species of the genus Desmostylus can be distinguished on morphological differences in the cranium. As a result it is clear that both species, D. hesperus , which had long been recognized only in North America, and D. japonicus , which has hitherto been recognized only in Japan, inhabited both coasts of the Pacific. All genera of the Order Desmostylia share a common and distinctive body form, interpreted by Inuzuka as having a laterally placed limb posture. Based on this body form, the optimum habitat is thought to have been an intertidal sandy beach. The dental morphology is variable, and derived species show an adaptation for wear by an abrasive diet. In conclusion, we theorize that the Order Desmostylia was adapted for a coastal habitat from its inception, with each genus adapting to a different sort of herbivorous diet.  相似文献

Chenqimogou site, located at the south bank of Tao River, is comprised of a large group of graves dated to ~4000 a BP. For its large scale, unique mortuary system, and abundant of typical artifacts, the site was named one of Top Ten Archaeological Discoveries of 2008 in China. 在地震预报中,对发震地点的预测一般都是“以场求源”。如何区别源兆与场兆的特征,是地震预报特别是短临预报必须回答的问题。根据云南1979—2000年间的20余年中地下水动态观测的事实,作者在“七五”、“八五”攻关项目的基础上,对地震源兆与场兆的地下水动态特征进行了深入分析,认为源兆特征为短临异常多、空间分布密集、以高频异常为主;场兆特征为中短期异常多、空间分布稀疏、以破年变异常为主。该分析对进一步开展地震预测预报实践有一定的借鉴意义。  相似文献

The superposition integral expressing the field due to a magnetic source body is relatively simple to evaluate in the case of a homogeneous magnetization. In practice this generally requires that any remnant component is uniform and the susceptibility of the body is sufficiently low to permit the assumption of a uniform induced magnetization. Under these conditions the anomalous magnetic field due to a polyhedral body can be represented in an intuitive and physically appealing manner. It is demonstrated that the components of the magnetic field H can be expressed as a simple combination of the potentials due to two elementary source distributions. These are, firstly, a uniform double layer (normally directed dipole moment density) located on the planar polygonal faces of the body and, secondly, a uniform line source located along its edges. In practice both of these potentials (and thus the required magnetic field components) are easily computed. The technique is applicable to polyhedra with arbitrarily shaped faces and the relevant expressions for the magnetic field components are suitable for numerical evaluation everywhere except along the edges of the body where they display a logarithmic singularity.  相似文献
