The North China Craton is the oldest continental block, and has suffered from large-scale lithospheric thinning and destruction, which in turn led to gold deposits in northern China. The decratonic gold deposits in the North China Craton became the most important gold deposits in China, and geophysical methods are key means to detect and discover gold deposits there. In this paper, based on the geological and petrophysical characteristics of the North China Craton, the geological model of the decratonic gold deposits is transformed into a geophysical model. At present, two methods of geophysical exploration of decratonic gold deposits are in use: rapid and efficient exploration on the scale of the ore concentration area, and large depth exploration on the scale of the deposit area. In detail, the airborne electromagnetic,magnetic and gravity methods are used to detect the shallow(1,500 m) anomaly area on the scale of the ore concentration area.Through the ground-controlled source electromagnetic and ground magnetotelluric methods, explorations for targets at significant depth(5,000 m) are carried out in the mining area. Then, taking the Liaodong ore concentration area as an example,geophysical methods are used to discover two prospecting areas around the Jianshanzi Fault in the Qingchengzi ore concentration area, Baiyun-Xiaotongjiapuzi deep prospecting area, and Qingchengzi deep prospecting area. Next, three prospecting areas are delineated around the Jixingou Fault in the Wulong mining area, Wulong deep prospecting area, Weishagou deep prospecting area, and Chang'an deep prospecting area. The anomalies in the ore concentration area and mining area are revealed by means of three-dimensional exploration methods, thereby providing technical support for the exploration of metal minerals such as decratonic gold deposits.  相似文献

— The aims of this study were to estimate the total amount of mercury released to the environment during 60 years of gold mining (1867–1926) at Gympie, Queensland, Australia and to measure the mercury levels in soil samples surrounding the mining activity. We estimated that 1902 tonnes of mercury was released to the environment and about 1236 tonnes of which was released to the air. The mean mercury in the soil samples in the vicinity of the Scottish battery varied from 1.07 to 99.26 μg g?1 as compared to 0.075 μg g?1 as background mercury concentrations. The maximum mercury concentration measured in sediments of the Langton Gully was 6.12 μg g?1. These results show that large amount of mercury was used in this area during gold mining. Since mining is active in the area and Langton Gully flows into Mary River, we therefore, recommend that mercury concentration in air and fish should be monitored.  相似文献

This paper reports the application of weights-of-evidence, artificial neural networks, and fuzzy logic spatial modeling techniques to generate prospectivity maps for gold mineralization in the neighborhood of the Amapari Au mine, Brazil. The study area comprises one of the last Brazilian mineral exploration frontiers. The Amapari mine is located in the Maroni-Itaicaiúnas Province, which regionally hosts important gold, iron, manganese, chromite, diamond, bauxite, kaolinite, and cassiterite deposits. The Amapari Au mine is characterized as of the orogenic gold deposit type. The highest gold grades are associated with highly deformed rocks and are concentrated in sulfide-rich veins mainly composed of pyrrhotite. The data used for the generation of gold prospectivity models include aerogeophysical and geological maps as well as the gold content of stream sediment samples. The prospectivity maps provided by these three methods showed that the Amapari mine stands out as an area of high potential for gold mineralization. The prospectivity maps also highlight new targets for gold exploration. These new targets were validated by means of detailed maps of gold geochemical anomalies in soil and by fieldwork. The identified target areas exhibit good spatial coincidence with the main soil geochemical anomalies and prospects, thus demonstrating that the delineation of exploration targets by analysis and integration of indirect datasets in a geographic information system (GIS) is consistent with direct prospecting. Considering that work of this nature has never been developed in the Amazonian region, this is an important example of the applicability and functionality of geophysical data and prospectivity analysis in regions where geologic and metallogenetic information is scarce.  相似文献

One of the essential tasks accelerate the decision-making process in mineral exploration projects is ranking anomalous areas.In this study,we used fourteen geologic maps(at scale 1:100,000) in areas where systematic geochemical explorations were conducted in the Fariman-Kashmar axis in northeast Iran to conduct the anomaly ranking.On all these maps,samples were consistently prepared to be analyzed through statistical and geostatistical methods.At first,anomaly separation was carried out by fractal methods that resulted in the detection of 308 anomalous samples in 128 areas.These samples were classified into three groups of first,second,and thirdorder anomalies,whose number of anomalous samples were calculated based on this ranking technique.Three factors,including the average concentration of each anomaly,its surface area,and the number of its samples,were used to rank the areas.According to this technique,the maximum anomaly score obtained was 172 for the Taknar area,and the minimum score was 3 for several areas.To validate the ranking results,some exploration operations were carried out in some of these anomalous areas in which mining operations started later.Several significant gold anomalous areas were introduced,which is considered an important result of this study.  相似文献

Karatungk Mine in northern Xinjiang, China, which is a large-scale magmatic Cu-Ni sulfide mine in the Central Asian orogenic belt, has a long history of mining. The mine is located at the merging belt between Altay orogenic belt and Junggar Basin, and has strong tectonic activities. In recent years, mining source detection has become an important target for mineral exploration due to the difficulties in ore body exploitation. In this paper,we systematically summarize the achievements of the geophysical explorations in Karatungk Mine from various aspects, including tectonic backgrounds of the mine, dynamic mechanisms, geophysical characteristics and scientific challenges in the future. Because of the restrictions of observation density and analysis methods, the fine geometrical structure of the mine cannot be completely characterized yet. Therefore,in order to obtain the high-resolution structure and detailed spatial distribution of orebodies, researchers should focus on combining multiple geophysical methods, developing high-resolution imaging methods, and improving petro physical experiments in the future.  相似文献

为了探索播卡深部的找矿空间及找矿方向,本文在播卡矿区钻孔样品分析数据的基础上,研究了播卡金矿床的元素富集规律、元素组合、元素异常在地表及空间的分布特征,建立了播卡金矿的原生晕分带模型、地球化学勘查模式,提出了不同深度的原生晕判别指标,在此基础上对播卡金矿的深部隐伏矿体进行了预测。结果显示播卡金矿的深部及邻区具有寻找隐伏矿体的良好前景。  相似文献

From 1861 to the 1940s, gold was produced from 64 mining districts in Nova Scotia, where mercury amalgamation was the dominant method for the extraction of gold from ore until the 1880s. As a result, wastes (tailings) from the milling process were contaminated by mercury and were high in naturally occurring arsenic. In 2004 and 2005, sediments, water and mollusc tissues were collected from 29 sampling stations at nine former gold mining areas along the Atlantic coastline and were analysed for arsenic and mercury. The resulting data were compared with environmental quality guidelines. Samples indicated high potential risk of adverse effects in the intertidal environments of Seal Harbour, Wine Harbour and Harrigan Cove. Arsenic in Seal Harbour was bioavailable, resulting in high concentrations of arsenic in soft-shell clam tissues. Mercury concentrations in tissues were below guidelines. This paper presents results of the sampling programs and implications of these findings.  相似文献

Spatial information on soil properties is an important input to hydrological models. In current hydrological modelling practices, soil property information is often derived from soil category maps by the linking method in which a representative soil property value is linked to each soil polygon. Limited by the area‐class nature of soil category maps, the derived soil property variation is discontinuous and less detailed than high resolution digital terrain or remote sensing data. This research proposed dmSoil, a data‐mining‐based approach to derive continuous and spatially detailed soil property information from soil category maps. First, the soil–environment relationships are extracted through data mining of a soil map. The similarity of the soil at each location to different soil types in the soil map is then estimated using the mined relationships. Prediction of soil property values at each location is made by combining the similarities of the soil at that location to different soil types and the representative soil property values of these soil types. The new approach was applied in the Raffelson Watershed and Pleasant Valley in the Driftless Area of Wisconsin, United States to map soil A horizon texture (in both areas) and depth to soil C horizon (in Pleasant Valley). The property maps from the dmSoil approach capture the spatial gradation and details of soil properties better than those from the linking method. The new approach also shows consistent accuracy improvement at validation points. In addition to the improved performances, the inputs for the dmSoil approach are easy to prepare, and the approach itself is simple to deploy. 目前地表矿、浅部矿越来越少,寻找深部盲矿体变得尤为重要.可控源音频大地电磁法(CSAMT)具有抗干扰能力强、分辨率高等特点,在探测矿产资源中已经取得了较好效果,但是通常CSAMT在矿区找深部矿时,由于在巷道上方的地表接收电磁信号会受到地面不同类型的强电磁干扰,同时由于该方法对深部矿体分辨率较低的缘故,大大影响了CSAMT的应用效果.本文尝试将CSAMT的接收系统置于巷道中,使得接收系统更加接近地下目标体,期望提高对于目标体识别的准确性,保证资源勘查的工作效率和成功率.基于积分方程法对不同类型地质模型进行了CSAMT正演模拟,并对不同模型不同深度接收的CSAMT响应特征进行了分析,同时以MARE2DEM软件模拟的二维模型响应加以验证积分方程结果的正确性.结果表明在无电磁干扰条件下,在巷道接收到的电磁场信号虽弱于地面,但其对于深部盲矿或目标体具有较强的识别度.  相似文献

在老矿山的深部与外围寻找新的可用资源,要求勘探者具备新的找矿思路、行之有效的深部探测手段与合理的工作程序、新的找矿思路来自于研究者的相关知识储备和创新能力,使其不墨守成规,用新的视角重新认识矿化规律和控矿要素。进而在老矿区优选出潜在的有利成矿区段.行之有效的深部探测手段以其高分辨的数字图像,不仅可以客观地反映深部地质结构的各种变化及矿化信息,以验证地质推测的可靠性,而且借助属地化的解释模型对矿区深部和外围开展真正意义的矿体定位预测、同时还可以大大降低工程验证的盲目性和巨大浪费.根据我们目前拥有的先进地球物理深部探测手段和大量老矿山找矿的经验与教训,逐渐形成了一套实用的工作程序。  相似文献

基于数据挖掘的概念,详细地阐述了岩石物理数据、测井数据、地震数据和地质数据的特征,并根据其数据特征,确定了岩石物理和测井数据、地震数据和地质数据的三种挖掘思路.用不同的挖掘思路对相应的数据分别展开挖掘,并从挖掘功能的角度分别描述挖掘的成果,即岩石物理数据之间的联系和对储层的预测;测井数据在复杂地质条件下对模糊储层的评价,及有效储层的识别;三维地震数据的空间挖掘成果;地质数据的图表和文本挖掘成果.数据挖掘技术将数据分析方法和对应的数学模型引入勘探领域,从海量的勘探数据中获取潜在信息,用于指导油气的勘探,实现了由数据指导勘探的目的,提出了数据勘探的概念.  相似文献

The Ertix gold belt is located on the boundary of the Kalatongke arc and the Kelan back-arc basin of D-C1. Most scholars used to interpret the formation and distribution of the gold deposits in the Ertix tectonic belt in terms of the petrogenic and metallogenic models for active continental margins. However, enormous data of isotopic dating and geologic research show that the mineralization was obviously later than the oceanic subduction, whereas exactly simultaneous with the collisional orogenesis during C2-P, especially at the transition stage from collisional compression to extension. Based on study of metallogenic time, tectonic background, ore geology, ore fluid nature, ore material source, etc., we reveal that all the gold deposits possess the character of orogenic deposits formed in collisional orogenic system, and that their ore-forming materials mainly have derived from the stratigraphic terranes south to individual deposits. Accordingly, the theoretical tectonic model for collisional metallogenesis and petrogenesis is employed to explain the formation of the Ertix gold belt and to determine the gold exploration directions.  相似文献

Industrial and mining activities have been recognized as major sources of heavy metal contamination in soil. Here, we developed a comprehensive assessment method for the soil environment in industrial and mining gathering areas based on the pressure–state–response model. Using this method, we assessed the environmental quality of soil in a typical industrial and mining gathering area in Tianjin City, China. The results are as follows: (1) The comprehensive environmental quality index of the soil in the study area was 0.532, which corresponds to an alert state and shows that the soil environment is generally poor. (2) The pressure, state, and response indexes were 0.609, 0.634, and 0.163, respectively, which suggests that the pressure in the soil environment of the study area is barely acceptable, and the state is merely passable. Furthermore, the response measures are not ideal. (3) The low response index scores indicate poor production processes, low pollutant treatment level, and unsatisfactory level of management by the enterprises in the study area. (4) The distribution of soil risks was found to be inseparably related to that of contamination sources and land use types. Furthermore, the distribution was uneven to a certain degree. Finally, we propose recommendations for the optimization, adjustment, and management of typical industrial and mining gathering areas with petrochemical, metallurgy, and other heavily polluting enterprises.  相似文献

江西省瑞昌市港南金矿是上世纪八十年代发现的小型金矿床,前人称之为"铁帽"型。本文通过对以往勘查资料的进一步分析和野外调查,发现矿体受F1硅化破碎带及溶蚀侵蚀洼地控制,产于破碎带之上的溶蚀侵蚀洼地粘土层中,顶板较平整,底板随基岩侵蚀面的起伏而波动,初步认为属残积红土型金矿,矿区及外围具有进一步找矿的前景。  相似文献

—?The Ventersdorp Contact Reef is characterised by a variety of different rock types that are found above and below the reef in different mining areas. These variations in the host rock type have been classified into six main geotechnical areas. Knowledge of the difference in seismicity related to these geotechnical areas could influence the design of deep level stopes and optimise the support systems.¶In this study, the total seismicity was evaluated using the relationship between the cumulative seismic moment and volume of convergence. In total 300,000 seismic events, occurred at Deelkraal, Elandsrand, East Driefontein, Kloof and Leeudoorn mines. Kloof and Leeudoorn gold mines were divisions of Kloof Gold Mine Co. Ltd. Mponeng was previously called Western Deep Levels Ltd.-South Mine.¶The seismicity generated in areas with different mining conditions and geology has been compared. Special attention was paid to evaluate the difference in seismicity associated with different geotechnical classifications. The following variations were found: (i) geotechnical areas with soft (Westonaria) lava hangingwall and quartzite-conglomerate footwall are less active than the geotechnical areas with hard (Alberton) lava hangingwall and quartzite-conglomerate footwall at East Driefontein, Kloof and Leeudoorn Mines, (ii) geotechnical areas with soft lava hangingwall and Jeppestown Shale footwall are less active than geotechnical areas with soft lava hangingwall and quartzite-conglomerate footwall at East Driefontein Mine, (iii) geotechnical areas with hard lava hangingwall and quartzite-conglomerate footwall and hard lava hangingwall and Booysen's Shale footwall at Western Deep Levels-South Mine do not indicate differences in the associated seismicity, (iv) the variations in the properties of the different types of quartzite forming the footwall at Deelkraal, Elandsrand, Mponeng, East Driefontein and Kloof Gold Mines do not appear to influence the level of seismicity.  相似文献

Located in Liaoning Province, one of the traditional heavy industrial areas in China, Dahuofang Reservoir provides drinking water for nearly 30 000 000 citizens, as well as industrial and agricultural water for dozens of several cities and rural areas. The distribution of hazardous heavy metals is described in several types of soil, crops, and in different industrial or mining areas and main sewage irrigation areas. Five possible reasons that may cause the pollution are analyzed and listed. Also we provide some pragmatic suggestions for the remediation of heavy metals in contaminated soils.  相似文献

地震勘探方法在深部固体矿产资源勘探中发展潜力巨大,同时也面临挑战.由于固体矿产资源地下分布呈现陡峭构造、尺度小,物性差异小的特点,常规偏移方法对小尺度矿体成像的分辨率提高有限.本文研究了一种基于稀疏促进约束的最小二乘逆时偏移方法.首先,将非均匀分布的矿体等效为随机介质,建立小尺度扰动的矿体模型;其次,改进现有最小二乘偏移方法,以稀疏模型为先验信息约束成像结果,并通过Curvelet变换压缩成像空间,经过多次迭代计算,可以提高小尺度散射体的成像分辨率;再次,对炮域记录进行随机震源编码,减少成像所需的炮集个数,通过稀疏促进约束条件,降低串扰噪声引起的成像误差.通过庐枞金属矿模型数值计算,验证本文方法可以较好的成像包含小尺度散射体的金属矿地质模型.  相似文献

As arsenopyrite is frequently present in auriferous deposits, concentrations of gold were measured in aquatic bryophytes collected from streams in zones of arsenic mineralization in the Polish and Czech Sudety Mountains. Data were compared with analyses of aquatic bryophytes from streams in non As mineralization areas with only background concentrations of Au. The highest contents of Au in bryophytes surpass the background concentration of this element in plants and are found in areas characterized by the presence of arsenopyrites.  相似文献
