Hα谱线轮廓的不对称性是色球耀斑光谱观测中的重要特征,也是耀斑动力学过程的重要观测事实之一.以紫金山天文台太阳光谱仪的观测资料为依据,给出Hα谱线不对称性的典型轮廓.在考虑氢原子非热激发、电离的作用下,经验性地计算了不同大气模型下谱线的不对称性特征,并在此基础上,对观测谱线进行半经验的研究.结果表明, 色球区的向下运动能够产生Hα谱线的红、蓝不对称性,并可以再生具体耀斑的谱线不对称性特征.此外,不仅非热粒子的能流、谱指数大小以及速度场所处的高度对谱线轮廓有影响,耀斑大气的背景模型对谱线的轮廓也有一定的影响.  相似文献

本文收集了SMM运行期间(1980.2-1989.11)与地面观测相对应的太阳白光耀斑HXRBS和GRS观测资料,就白光耀斑与硬X-射线发射及伽玛射线发射之产的关系进行了初步的统计研究,结果表明:白光耀斑与伽玛射线发射之间不存在对应关系;白光耀斑也并非全具有强硬X-射线发射,对那些只具有对较弱的硬X-射线发射的白光耀斑,我们发现低能粒子具有足够的能量驱动连续发射,因而它们可能起源于色球,而对那些具  相似文献

简要回顾了近几年国际上太阳磁场研究的一些重要进展,包括耀斑与磁切和电流的关系,电流螺度和磁螺度,磁场拓扑性,三维磁场外推,色球磁场研究,日冕磁场研究,内网络磁元,磁流和振荡,极区磁场观测以及色球磁元观测等方面内容,同时也介绍了怀柔太阳观测站最近所取得的主要成果,自20世纪90年代以来,YOHKOH高分辨率的太阳X射线数据,SOHO的多波段大尺度观测,TRACE的高分辨太阳过渡区资料,为研究太阳磁场从内部到距离几十太阳半径处的大范围演化提供了依据,高效的空间资料结合长期的地面资料,将是正派推动太阳磁场研究的重要手段和必然趋势。  相似文献

报导了云南天文台精细结构望远镜观测到的耀斑前兆相的日冕环的色球足点增亮和兰移现象。两个日冕环的4 个足点由 Yohkoh/ H X H/ S X T 的观测研究所确认。在耀斑前, 色球上与日冕环足点相对应的、分立的点状亮谱斑,其偏带观测显示出兰移, 表明它们是日冕环的色球足点, 且表明存在着物质的预加热, 以及物质从足点沿冕环向上流动。观测还显示冕环所跨越的暗条的激活。这些现象清楚说明, 物质沿磁力线的“蒸发”发生在耀斑前兆相, 而且,色球磁场的剧烈变化可能是引起色球蒸发的原因之一  相似文献

本文分析了南京大学太阳塔1991年10月24日用多波段光谱仪观测到的高时间分辨率(5s)的一个2N/X2.1级白光耀斑光谱.对耀斑谱线轮廓、连续发射强度、X射线和射电爆发资料进行了综合对比,分析表明,该耀斑属Ⅰ类白光耀斑,具有如下特征:(1)在白光耀斑的脉冲相期间,各波段光谱线心强度、连续辐射、谱线半宽以及线翼红不对称性与硬X射线高能波段的爆发同时达到极大;(2)H_a谱线在连续发射极大时半宽达10A,且呈现强烈的线心反转,H_β和H_γ线心亦有反转;(3)所拍摄的5条谱线都有明显的红不对称性,持续时间约为1分钟,根据上述结果,本文用电子束轰击、色球蒸发和色球压缩区对该耀斑能量积聚和释放的动力学机制作了定性的分析和解释。  相似文献

Here we have carried out a power-spectrum analysis of solar nuclear gamma-ray (NGR) flares observed by SMM and HINOTORI satellites. The solar NGR flares show a periodicity of 152 days, confirming the existence of a 152–158 days periodicity in the occurrence of solar activity phenomena and also indicating that the NGR flares are a separate class of solar flares. The power-spectrum analysis of the daily sunspot areas on the Sun for the period 1980–1982 shows a peak around 159 days while sunspot number data do not show any periodicity (Verma and Joshi, 1987). Therefore, only sunspot area data should be treated as an indicator of solar activity and not the daily sunspot number data.  相似文献

Broadband soft solar X-rays monitored by the GOES satellites have been used to detect high-temperature flares (> 25 MK). The data suggest that there are two general categories of high-temperature flares: those that are intrinsically hot and recur repeatedly in particular active regions and those that show enhanced temperatures because of their proximity to the solar limb. Intrinsically hot flares associate with gamma-ray flares and impulsive hard X-ray flares. Hot flares show a small incidence with gradual hard X-ray flares, but those cases are either extremely intense flares or limb flares. The apparently hot flares occur near the visible limb, which suggests the strong thermal stratification of flare plasmas as demonstrated by over-the-limb events; even on the visible disk near the limb, the lower, cooler plasmas are somehow partially occulted.  相似文献

The year 1991 is a part of the declining phase of the solar cycle 22, during which high energetic flares have been produced by active regions NOAA/USAF 6659 in June. The associated solar proton events have affected the Earth environment and their proton fluxes have been measured by GOES space craft. The evaluation of solar activity during the first half of June 1991, have been carried out by applying a method for high energetic solar flares prediction on the flares of June 1991. The method depends on cumulative summation curves according to observed H-alpha flares, X-ray bursts, in the active region 6659 during one rotation when the energetic solar flares of June 1991 have occurred. It has been found that the steep trend of increased activity sets on several tens of hours prior to the occurrence of the energetic flare, which can be used, together with other methods, for forecasts of major flares. All the used data at the present work are received from NOAA, Boulder, Colorado, USA.  相似文献

We have examined delay times between solar disturbances (X-ray flares and DSFs) and storm sudden commencements(SSC) as well as between SSC and major geomagnetic storms. To carry out cross-correlation analysis of these point series data, we have introduced a new correlation measure which is defined by the ratio of the median value of the absolute residual differences between two sets of time series data to the one determined from hypothetical target series. We have confirmed from the correlation analyses that (1) the most probable traveling time of a solar disturbance from the Sun to the Earth is estimated to be about 2 days for a disturbance associated with major (X and M class) solar flares, and about 3 days for a disturbance associated with DSFs, (2) long-duration flares are better correlated with SSCs than short-duration flares, (3) travelling times of solar disturbances strongly depend on the heliolongitude where they originate, and (4) solar disturbances associated with flares and DSFs at the western limb can hardly reach the Earth. According to one of the most popular classifications, solar flares may be assigned either to the category of small short-lived events, or to the category of large, long-duration two-ribbon (2-R) flares. Even if such abroad division oversimplifies the flare phenomenon, our knowledge of the characteristics of stellar flares is so poor, that it is worthwhile to investigate the possibility of adopting this classification scheme for stellar flares as well. In particular we will analyze Einstein observations of a long duration flare on EQ Peg to establish whether it might be considered as a stellar analogy of 2-R solar events. To this end we apply to EQ Peg data a reconnection model, developed originally for solar 2-R flares, and conclude that stellar observations are consistent with model predictions, although additional information is required to identify uniquely the physical parameters of the flare region. Application of the model to integrated observations of a 2-R solar flare, for which high spatial resolution data are also available, shows, however, that future integrated observations may allow us to solve the ambiguities of the model and use it as a diagnostic tool for a better understanding of stellar flares.  相似文献

The AVS-F apparatus onboard the CORONAS-F satellite (operated from July 31, 2001, to December 6, 2005) was intended for investigation of solar hard X-ray and gamma-ray radiation and for registration of gamma-ray bursts. The AVS-F apparatus constitutes a system for processing the data from two detectors: SONG-D (a CsI(Tl) scintillation detector 200 mm in diameter and 100 mm in height, fully surrounded by plastic anticoincidence shield) and RPS-1 (a solid state CdTe detector 4.9 mm × 4.9 mm in size). Over 60 solar flares stronger than M1.0 class by GOES classification were registered during the period from August 2001 to February 2005. Most flares showed gamma-ray emission during the periods when a rise in the X-ray flux was observed by the GOES instruments. Some flares produced gamma-rays only at maximum X-ray emission; for some flares, the durations of gamma-ray and X-ray emissions were the same. Up to six complexes of spectral lines were detected in some solar flares. The AVS-F instrument analyzes temporal profiles of low-energy gamma-ray emission with a temporal resolution of 1 ms within the first 4.096 seconds of solar flares. The preliminary analysis of such temporal profiles for seven solar flares revealed time regularities with scales from 7 to 35 ms in the 0.1-to 20-MeV energy range only for the flare of January 20, 2005, at a confidence level of 99%.  相似文献

Solar flare prediction plays an important role in understanding and forecasting space weather.The main goal of the Helioseismic and Magnetic Imager(HMI), one of the instruments on NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory, is to study the origin of solar variability and characterize the Sun's magnetic activity.HMI provides continuous full-disk observations of the solar vector magnetic field with high cadence data that lead to reliable predictive capability; yet, solar flare prediction effort utilizing these data is still limited. In this paper, we present a machine-learning-as-a-service(MLaa S) framework, called Deep Sun,for predicting solar flares on the web based on HMI's data products. Specifically, we construct training data by utilizing the physical parameters provided by the Space-weather HMI Active Region Patch(SHARP)and categorize solar flares into four classes, namely B, C, M and X, according to the X-ray flare catalogs available at the National Centers for Environmental Information(NCEI). Thus, the solar flare prediction problem at hand is essentially a multi-class(i.e., four-class) classification problem. The Deep Sun system employs several machine learning algorithms to tackle this multi-class prediction problem and provides an application programming interface(API) for remote programming users. To our knowledge, Deep Sun is the first MLaa S tool capable of predicting solar flares through the internet.  相似文献

We investigate the statistical distribution of X-class flares and their relationship with super active regions (SARs) during solar cycles 21–23. Analysis results show that X1.0–X1.9 flares accounted for 52.71 % of all X-class flares, with X2.0–X2.9 flares at 20.59 %, X3.0–X4.9 at 13.57 %, X5–X9.9 at 8.37 % and ≥X10 at 4.75 %. All X-class flares occurred around the solar maximum during solar cycle 22, while in solar cycle 23, X-class flares were scattered in distribution. In solar cycle 21, X-class flares were distributed neither in a concentrated manner like cycle 22 nor in a scattered manner as cycle 23. During solar cycles 21–23, 32.2 % of the X1.0–X1.9 flares, 31.9 % of the X2.0–X2.9 flares, 43.3 % of the X3.0–X4.9 flares, 81.08 % of the X5.0–X9.9 flares, and 95.2 % of the ≥X10 flares were produced by SARs.  相似文献

本文研究了1971—1980年间发生在日面东部的164个和西部的132个2级以上耀斑对我国185个气象站上空雷暴活动的影响.结果表明,日面东部耀斑爆发后雷暴活动减弱且通过优于0.1的置信度检验测站数远多于日面西部耀斑,而日面西部耀斑爆发后雷暴活动增强,通过优于0.1的置信度检验测站数远多于日面东部耀斑.这种与地磁活动和日球扰动相似的雷暴活动对太阳耀斑响应的东西不对称性,可能借助于大气电环境并通过行星际磁场和磁层,将太阳和对流层的确耦合起来了.  相似文献
