We perform the numerical analysis of the propagation of tsunamis in the Black Sea from the zones of seismic generation located to the south of the Crimea and in the northwest part of the sea. It is shown that the tsunamis induced by earthquakes in the Crimean seismic zone are entrapped by the nearest part of the shelf and do not result in noticeable oscillations of level in the northwest part of the sea. This enables us to explain the absence of manifestations of tsunamis in 1927, 1939, and 1966 near Odessa. The tsunami waves generated by earthquakes in the northwest part of the sea are characterized by the directivity of their propagation. The wave height is maximum in the areas corresponding to the north and east directions of propagation. Hence, the north coast of the sea and the Kalamit Bay (Crimean Peninsula) are characterized by elevated tsunami hazard for earthquakes occurring in the northwest part of the Black Sea. __________ Translated from Morskoi Gidrofizicheskii Zhurnal, No. 6, pp. 46–53, November–December, 2005.  相似文献

渤海及黄海北部的风海流数值计算及余流计算   总被引:1,自引:1,他引:1  
依据黄渤海实测风的资料对渤海及北黄海进行了月平均风海流数值计算。计算表明 ,1月份在西北风的作用下 ,在渤海出现 1个逆时针旋转的环流 ,在辽东湾北部及黄海北部出现 1个顺时针旋转的环流 ,渤海海峡的海流北进南出。 7月份在南风和东南风的作用下 ,风海流的变化形式与 1月份大致相反 ,海峡处呈南进北出的形式。对渤海中部某点 1年的潮流资料通过低通滤波的方法计算逐时的余流值 ,得到该点 1年内表层最大的实测余流为 31.9cm/ s,全年 90 %多的时间内表层余流小于 10 cm/ s。对辽东湾北部某点和渤海湾西南部某点数月潮流资料也进行了低通滤波 ,并将得到的逐时余流与同步风作了比较。依据该 2点风和余流的关系以及黄海北部 6个点风和余流的关系验证了风海流数值计算的结果 ,表明在这些点上实测与计算结果拟合良好  相似文献

Profiles of salinity and temperature were measured in the strait of Hormuz (SH) during the winter of 2012, spring and summer of 2013. To investigate the double diffusion (DD) processes, Turner (TU) angle values are calculated in all the stations in the SH. Different TU angle values correspond to salt fingering (SF), diffusive convection (DC) and stable stratification. The distributions of the two forms of DD were plotted vertically along transects in the eastern, central and western part of the SH, and corresponding DD processes were described. The results show that both SF and DC occurred in most part of the study area. Two different water masses (the Indian Ocean surface water and the Persian Gulf water) were evident at the SH, and SF and DC were evident at the interface of two water masses. Due to evaporation, SF occurred in the surface layer of most Stations throughout the year. In the eastern part of the SH, occurrences of DC were more feasible in wintertime. SF was the main phenomenon at the end of hot season. For central part, SF occurred throughout the year in water column. In the western part, water column was stable in summer and DC happened in most part of water column in winter.  相似文献

We perform the numerical analysis of the process of propagation of long waves in the northwest part of the Black Sea and consider ten possible zones of the seismic generation of tsunamis. The numerical analysis is performed on a grid with steps of 500 m. It is shown that the location of the tsunami source significantly affects the distribution of the heights of waves along the coast. As a rule, the most intense waves are formed in the closest part of the coast. The earthquakes in the South-Coast seismic zone do not lead to the formation of tsunamis in the west part of the sea. Only strong earthquakes in the northwest part of the sea can be responsible for noticeable oscillations of the Black-Sea level. The period of tsunamis near Odessa is close to 1 h and depends on the magnitude of the earthquake. In the region of Sevastopol, this period is 2--3 times smaller. In the major part of the coastal points, the extreme elevations and lowerings of the sea level do not exceed (in modulus) the initial displacements of the sea surface at the source of tsunamis. An intensification of waves emitted from the zones of generation located in the deeper part of the investigated region was observed for some parts of the Romanian coast and the west coast of Crimea. As the magnitude of the earthquake increases, the intensification of waves near the coast becomes more pronounced.  相似文献

The phytoplankton community and its distribution were investigated in the eastern branch of the St. Anna Trough and over the adjacent Kara Sea shelf in September 2011 and in August 2014. The spatial and seasonal differences in the phytoplankton structure were analyzed in connection with ice melting and changes in the temperature, salinity, and biogenic regime. Four 4 zones were defined: the Kara Sea shelf, the upper part of the St. Anna Trough slope, the lower part of the St. Anna Trough slope, and its deep part. It was shown that over the Kara Sea shelf where riverine runoff influence was observed, the phytoplankton community differs from the community of the St. Anna Trough in both investigated periods: in September and August. Rearrangement of the phytoplankton community was observed in the frontal zone associated with the upper part of the slope in September of 2011. The main features of this rearrangement were a change in dominant species composition and a 1.5–2-fold increase in the number and biomass of algae. Over the lower part of the slope and deep area of the St. Anna Trough in August 2014 and September 2011, the phytoplankton community was at different successive stages: in August, at the late spring and summer stage, and in September, at the summer–autumn stage.  相似文献

According to studies made to date, the planktonic larvae ofPinnixa rathbuni, especially the early zoeal stages, have been found mainly in the eastern part of Ise Bay (Pacific coast of central Japan), while the benthic adult population is restricted to the southwestern part of the bay. The present study was made to obtain a better understanding of the origin of the dense population of early zoea found along the coast of the Chita Peninsula in the eastern part of the bay. Field surveys made with a Smith-McIntyre grab from May to November 1981 (every two months) ruled out the possibility that the benthic adult crabs in the southwestern part of the bay migrated to the eastern part of the bay to release their larvae, or that a substantial population of the crabs occurred in the eastern part of the bay. Thus, the larvae may be derived wholly from the benthic adult populations localized in the southwestern part of the bay. The spatial distribution of the early larvae can be explained by assuming that the larvae, released by the benthic adult population in the southwestern part of the bay, are rapidly transported toward the Chita Peninsula and form a dense larval population along the coast in the eastern part of the bay.  相似文献

通过对多种调查资料的综合分析,提出了东海黑潮主段子环流系统的物理模型,它是由较稳定的东海黑潮主段、经常出现(大概率)的右侧逆流和有条件出现(小概率)的外陆架逆流所构成的一个双环环流结构。部分黑潮水由主段北部进入陆架区形成外陆架逆流,或转向黑潮以东海域形成右侧逆流;由主段南部进入黑潮的陆架水,一部分来自外陆架逆流闭合了双环结构的外陆架部分;黑潮右侧逆流水大部分形成反气旋流动重新进入主流,闭合了双环结构的东部部分。  相似文献

The phytoplankton of a surface strongly desalinated water lens was investigated on the basis of materials collected during the 57th cruise of the R/V Akademik Mstislav Keldish in September of 2007. The lens with a salinity of <18 psu had area of approximately 19 thousand square kilometers and was located in the northwestern part of the Kara Sea near the eastern coast of Novaya Zemlya. It was a specific biotope that had been isolated from the surrounding waters for more than three months. In the investigated area, 66 algae species were identified. The maximal species diversity was found in the upper layers of the desalinated lens, where the species number was 1.5 to 3 times higher than in other parts of the water column. The phytoplankton numbers in the upper layers of the lens were 1.5 to 4.5 times higher than in its lower part and generally higher than below the picnocline. Diatoms were the most abundant group in the upper layers of the lens, while flagellates dominated in numbers in the subpicnocline part of the water column. The maximal values of the phytoplankton biomass were observed everywhere in the upper layers of the lens, where they were 1.2 to 3.7 times higher than in the lower part of the lens and 1.3 to 7.2 times higher than in the layer below the picnocline. Dinoflagellates generally gave the most contribution to the total phytoplankton biomass. The phytoplankton of the desalinated surface lens in the northwestern part of the Kara Sea by its composition and quantitative parameters had the nearest resemblance to a phytocenosis that we observed two weeks later at a shallow desalinated shelf closely adjacent to the Ob estuary.  相似文献

综述了东海地区地热场的特征及研究进展,根据收集的各航次热流值资料,绘制了东海地区的热流值分布图,并根据热流值的分布特点将东海地区分为陆架区、冲绳海槽区、琉球岛弧和海沟区、菲律宾海盆区等4个区块,详细分析了它们的热流分布成因,在已有的东海南北热结构模型基础上对东海南北热结构差异进行了分析。南冲绳海槽区的地壳热流值和地壳减薄程度都明显高于北冲绳海槽及其它各区,说明高热流值起源于地幔抬升和地壳的减薄,东海的扩张已经从冲绳海槽北部转移到南部。  相似文献

The publication presents the results of the studies on the carbonate system of the waters of the East Siberian Sea performed aboard R/V Ivan Kireev in September 2003–2004. It is shown that the aquatic area considered may be subdivided into two biohydrochemical provinces. The western part of the sea is a CO2 supplier to the atmosphere, while its eastern part is a sink for CO2. This is caused by the fact that the western part of the East Siberian Sea was affected by the waters of the southeastern part of the Laptev Sea, which were desalinated by riverine runoff, turbid, and enriched in the bioactive organic matter supplied into the water due to the coastal (and bottom) erosion. In the eastern part, cold waters of Pacific origin prevailed (saline, transparent, and productive), which caused a pronounced decrease in the partial pressure of CO2(pCO2) in the surface layer. In the frontal zone delimiting the desalinated shelf waters and those of the Pacific origin, the direction of the CO2 flux between the atmosphere and the sea changed (from evasion to invasion). The interannual variability of the carbonate system parameters in the coastal-shelf zone of the East Siberian Sea was determined by the intensity of the propagation of the waters of different origins over the sea aquatic area caused by the atmospheric circulation, as well as by the riverine runoff intensity and the dynamics of erosion processes.  相似文献

Two profiles have been gravimetrically modelled in the central and eastern parts of the Alboran Sea and Betic Cordillera. The crust in the central part thins from 38 km below the Internal Zones to 18–22 km beneath the Alboran Basin in an area about 30 km wide. The eastern part shows greater thinning, from about 38 to 15 km, distributed over a broader area some 100 km wide. The mode of crustal thinning in the eastern part can be compared with that of a rifted passive margin whereas the central part exhibits a transform style.  相似文献

Phytoplankton community and its distribution were investigated in the south part of the Polar Front in the eastern Barents Sea in October 2014. Analysis of the spatial differences in the phytoplankton structure was performed in connection with changes of the temperature, salinity and biogenic regime. At the end of the growing season in the phytoplankton community was dominated by destruction processes and the concentration of nutrients in the upper mixed layer was higher than the limiting level. Coccolithophores (Emiliania huxleyi and Discosphaera cf. tubifer) dominanted over investigated area. The maximum values of abundance and biomass of coccolithophores reached 90.4 mln.cell/m3 and 30.8 mgC/m3, drawing up 82% of the total number and 93% of the total biomass of phytoplankton. Influence of transformed the waters of Atlantic origin was observed in the western part of the investigated area. The number of species in the phytoplankton community here was 1.5–2 times lower than in the eastern part of the occupied mostly by Barents Sea water. In the eastern part of the presence of large dinoflagellates Neoceratium spp. (Ceratium spp.) and Dinophysis spp., lower values of chlorophyll a concentration, a higher proportion of pheophytin in the amount of pigment chlorophyll + pheophytin, the high content of ammonia in the upper mixed layer showed that in this area the phytoplankton was at a later seasonal succession stage than the western part.  相似文献

On the basis of the analysis of the many-year data on the vertical distributions of particulate organic carbon and nitrogen, we compute their annual average amounts for three typical layers of water in the deep part of the Black Sea: for a layer located above the oxycline and characterized by the formation of new portions of particulate organic matter in the course of photosynthesis, inside the oxycline, where the major part of oxygen is consumed and the major part of the flux of particulate organic matter is oxidized, and for the upper part of the anoxic zone characterized by the most active microbiological processes of oxidation of the organic substances and production of sulfides. The available literature data on sedimentation traps are used to study the downward annual average fluxes of particulate organic matter from the euphotic zone into the oxycline and into the anaerobic zone. The seasonal variability of the amounts and fluxes of particulate carbon and nitrogen is revealed.  相似文献

The horizontal distribution of the near-surface (neuston) copepods of the family Pontellidae was studied on the meridional transects through the central part of the Indian ocean between 12°N and 12°S and in the Bay of Bengal in the summer monsoon period. Eleven species of neuston pontellids were found. The common species Labidocera detruncate and Pontellopsis villosa have the sane high frequencies in the central part of the ocean and in the Bay of Bengal. Some species are rarer in the Bay of Bengal than in the central part of the ocean. In contrast, other species are more frequent in the Bay of Bengal. The special traits of the distribution in the Bay of Bengal coincide with the lower salinity in the bay than in the central ocean. The distribution of some neritic species from the Bay of Bengal to the south is dependent on the intensification of the water translocation to the south in the summer. In the central part of the Indian Ocean, the distribution of the common neustonic pontellids is similar in the periods of the summer and winter monsoons. It is the result of the occupation of the region by the same equatorial water masses.  相似文献

Geological and geomorphological studies of the Moscow Aulacogene in the western part of Moscow suburbs have been conducted. This deep structure has been studied by microseismic sounding. The resulting section presents the faults which frame the Teplostanskii Graben in the south (Ramenskii or Butovskii, expressed on the surface as a ledge in the relief) and in the north (Pavlovo-Posadskii, being traced on the surface as a series of lineaments and the valley of Setun’ River). The position of the surface Archean-Lower Proterozoic crystalline basement within the limits of the graben and within the limits of buried elevated blocks (Krasnogorskii and Tumsk-Shaturskii) frame it in the north and south, respectively. Additionally, another fault has been identified in the central part of the graben: the Solntsevskii fault, which has a north-western course and which separates the deflection of the basement in two blocks that are sunken in a slightly different degree. The low-velocity horizons of the Riphean-Vendian complex which make up the graben at depths of 2 to 4.5 km have been found. Down to depths of 15 km, as a component of the upper crust, the graben is underlain by a high-velocity material which also forms the upper part of the section of the crystalline basement in the neighboring elevated block. A low-velocity block of the lithosphere is located in the larger (northern) part of the graben deeper (down to 40 km) beneath the zones of Pavlovo-Posadskii and Solntsevskii faults; in the southern part there is a high-velocity block. In the fault zones framing the graben in the north and south, the surface layer and soil displays a flow of juvenile hydrogen and helium which exceeds several tenfold the background values. According to the collected data, the Teplostanskii Graben has roots traceable through the entire crust and penetrating into the upper mantle.  相似文献

对渤海、黄海海域冬、夏两季表层沉积物取样,通过激光粒度仪得出粒度参数,进而分析讨论冬季强的沿岸流的作用、黄海暖流、夏季冷水团的影响以及地形、海底地貌特征、物源特征等对表层沉积物分布造成的影响。结果表明,冬、夏两季渤黄海表层沉积物粒度特征总体上相差不大,但部分海域如渤海中北部、渤海中南部、北黄海西北部近渤海海峡北部海域、山东半岛东北部海域、南黄海中部沉积物粒度特征存在明显季节性差异。表层沉积物粒度特征季节性差异与地形地貌、沿岸流、黄海暖流、黄海冷水团及物源密切相关。本研究对于探讨渤黄海不同季节表层沉积物沉积特征的影响机制、了解渤黄海区海洋动力过程的季节差异有积极意义。  相似文献

辽东半岛南部地区及周边海域在特定的季节、天气形势和条件下可能会造成灾害性的冷流降雪天气, 提高冷流降雪预报准确性, 对沿海地区防灾减灾具有重要意义。本文利用1981—2021 年辽宁地区各气象站逐日降水资料及ERA5 再分析资料, 运用统计学和物理量诊断方法对辽东半岛南部地区冷流降雪的气候特征、发生规律及成因进行了分析。研究结果表明:辽东半岛南部地区冷流降雪强度弱, 主要以小雪为主; 降雪次数和降雪量均呈现南多北少的特点, 前者年际变化趋势平稳而后者较大; 12 月是冷流降雪发生的主要月份, 而11 月和2 月是降雪强度较强的月份。冷流降雪的产生和较大的海洋表面与大气温差、低层不稳定层结、海陆地形作用有密切关系; 当500 hPa 和850 hPa 影响系统为冷涡或低槽、辽东半岛南部及周边海域低层为偏北风且相对湿度条件较好、1 000 hPa 对应正相对涡度等条件时, 可以预测辽东半岛南部可能出现冷流降雪; 海表温度(Sea Surface Temperature, SST) 与850 hPa 温度之差直接决定了地面冷流降雪量的大小。  相似文献

南海东北部与西北部海域均分布有中生代地层,地震勘探揭示南海北部中生界东、西之间在地震相及沉积充填结构上存在明显差异,东部中生界为双层结构,而西部为单层结构.东部中生代地层由海相及海陆过渡相侏罗系与陆相白垩系组成,而西部则由陆相白垩系构成,缺失侏罗系.从海水入侵方向看,南海北部中生界与特提斯域无关,可能更受太平洋域的影响.侏罗纪古太平洋边缘海盆在南海北部主要分布在珠江口盆地东部及台西南盆地,从早侏罗世到晚侏罗世海盆范围逐渐缩小;白垩纪南海北部整体抬升,除台西南盆地东部接受海相沉积外,白垩纪南海北部以小型断陷盆地为特征,在断陷盆地内接受陆相河湖相沉积.南海北部在中生代时期位于特提斯构造域与太平洋构造域的交接部位,东部中生界双层结构、西部单层结构的沉积模式进一步明确濒太平洋构造域的对南海北部中生界的控制作用,同时东部将是中生代油气勘探的有利区域.  相似文献

Geophysical data on the northern part of the Pacific Ocean were systematized to compile a map of geomagnetic and geothermal studies of the Bering Sea. The absence of reliable data about the formation time of the Bering Sea structures of oceanic and continental origins is noted; this hampered the assessment of the geodynamical processes in the North Pacific. Based on the geophysical data, we estimated the age of the structures of the Bering Sea floor such as the Commander Basin (21 My), the Shirshov Ridge (95 and 33 My in the northern and southern parts, respectively), the Aleutian Basin (70 My), the Vitus Arch (44 My), the Bowers Ridge (30 My), and the Bowers Basin (40 My). These values are confirmed by the geological, geophysical, and kinematic data. A numerical modeling of the formation of extensive regional structures (Emperor Fracture Zone, Chinook Trough, and others) in the Northern Pacific is carried out. A conclusion was made on the basis of the geological and geothermal analysis that the northern and southern parts of the Shirshov Ridge have different geological ages and different tectonic structures. The northern part of the ridge is characterized by an upthrust-nappe terrain origin, while the southern part has originated from a torn-away island arc similar to the origin of the Bowers Ridge. The sea floor of the Aleutian Basin represents a detached part of the Upper Cretaceous Kula plate, on which spreading processes took place in the Vitus Arch area in the Eocene. The final activity phase in the Bering Sea began 21 My B.P. by spreading of the ancient oceanic floor of the Commander Basin. Based on the age estimations of the structures of the Bering Sea floor, the results of the modeling of the process of formation of regional fracture zones and of the geomagnetic, geothermal, tectonic, geological, and structural data, we calculated and compiled a kinematic model (with respect to a hot spot reference system) of the northern part of the Pacific Ocean for 21 My B.P.  相似文献
