南海东北部陆坡冷泉系统的浅地层剖面特征与分析   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2       下载免费PDF全文
本文通过对南海东北部陆坡区浅地层剖面资料的处理,结合横跨陆坡区的长地震测线,总结了该区浅层气聚集、海底流体运移、泥火山和冷泉活动在浅地层剖面中的特征,并对剖面中出现的声学空白带现象做了分类.研究认为浊反射、增强反射等现象,反映了该区域存在广泛的浅层气聚集.对声学空白带成因的分析,认为窄空白带很可能对应海底流体运移的通道,而宽空白带则可能由沿地层分布的浅层气引起,同时提出了自生碳酸盐岩体散落分布造成声学空白的可能性.我们在南海东北部陆坡区发现了泥火山,并讨论了其运移通道及对BSR的破坏.同时发现研究区水体中存在声学异常体,推断为冷泉羽状流,指示该区存在活动的冷泉.本文依托大量的浅地层剖面数据,对南海东北部陆坡区的冷泉系统有了较全面的认识,对冷泉系统剖面特征的成因进行了初步探讨,可为南海冷泉系统研究的进一步开展提供有益参考.  相似文献

A combination of geophysical methods including continuous electrical resistivity and high-resolution Chirp sub-bottom profiling were utilized to characterize geologic controls on pore fluid salinity in the nearshore of Long Bay, SC. Resistivity values ranged from less than 1 Ω m to greater than 40 Ω m throughout the bay. Areas of elevated electrical resistivity suggest the influence of relatively fresher water on pore water composition. Geophysical evidence alone does not eliminate all ambiguity associated with lithological and porosity variations that may also contribute to electrical structure of shallow marine sediments. The anomalous field is of sufficient magnitude that lithological variation alone does not control the spatial distribution of elevated electrical resistivity zones. Geographical distribution of electrical anomalies and structures interpreted from nearby sub-bottom profiles indicates abrupt changes in shallow geologic units control preferential pathways for discharge of fresh water into the marine environment. Shore parallel resistivity profiles show dramatic decreases in magnitude with increasing distance from shore, suggesting a significant portion of the terrestrially driven fresh SGD in Long Bay is occurring via the surficial aquifer within a few hundred meters of shore.  相似文献

利用云南省宾川主动源基地周边10km范围内7个流动台站2017年2月气枪震源集中激发时段记录的气枪信号,使用干涉法计算了直接使用波形和将波形与参考台反褶积后的格林函数两种处理方法下气枪信号的走时变化。使用了气枪震源附近不同方位角的两个参考台的数据,以分析不同参考台对走时变化结果的影响。结果表明:反褶积能较为有效的压制气枪震源的时间、空间和频谱轻微不重复性导致的走时变化;反褶积能降低一些来源不明的伪走时变化;使用CKT2的数据反褶积的结果略优于CKT0,其可能原因是气枪阵列沿方位角的非均匀辐射。  相似文献

采用短时单频脉冲震源的浅地层剖面,记录的波形数据空间假频较严重。因其信号具有频率高、频带窄的特征,通常利用Hiibert变换提取瞬时振幅属性(信号包络)供解释使用。但瞬时振幅均为正值,在进行构造解释时不方便使用。本文提出在对浅层剖面资料提取瞬时振幅的基础上,计算瞬时振幅的微分并配合滤波的方法,实现高频窄带浅地层剖面资料的一种频移处理。该方法把高频窄带的多周期信号变为低频带宽的单周期信号,有效扩展了倍频程并消除假频。应用在南海浅地层剖面资料处理中,资料处理后更利于构造解释。  相似文献

In 1989 a new type of marine seismic source was introduced. This new air-gun, which consists of two air chambers instead of one, is called the GI gun. The main feature of this gun is that the bubble created by the gun is stabilized by an injection of extra air from the second chamber at a later time. This injection mechanism reduces the amplitude of the bubble oscillations, which also means that the acoustic signal from a GI gun shot is characterized by a very clean primary pulse followed by very small bubble oscillations. A method for calculating the acoustic signal generated by a GI gun is presented. Based on the solution of a damped Kirkwood–Bethe equation, the far-field pressure of single GI guns and of arrays of GI guns is calculated. It is shown that the optimal values for injection start time and injection period vary with injector volume and gun depth. It is also shown that the precision in the firing time for the injector should be of the order of 4 ms, while the precision of the injection period should be of the order of 8 ms. Modelled and measured far-field signatures have been compared, and the relative error energy is found to be less than 3.5% for all examples.  相似文献

The success of signature deconvolution in optimizing both signal-to-noise ratio and time resolution in the seismic section depends critically upon obtaining an accurate estimate of the far-field source signature. Various deterministic estimation schemes have been proposed in recent years, most of which involve direct monitoring of source output within the water layer. As an alternative to elaborate and error-prone source monitoring schemes during data acquisition, a simple modification to any source array permits subsequent estimation of far-field signatures directly from reflected signal. The new method requires the inclusion within any chosen source array of a simple point source, the “reference” source. Initial experiments employed a water gun as the reference source, characterized by a concise implosive signature with peak-to-peak amplitude of approximately 2 bar·m within the seismic sprectrum. In operation the reference source is fired shortly before the main array (typically 2 s during initial trials) and the usual record length is extended by a similar amount. Each recorded trace then comprises two results: the subsurface response to the reference source signal followed by the response of the same subsurface to the main array. The disparities in source amplitudes and NMO differentials ensure that interference effects are negligible in the main recording. Time- or frequency-domain methods can be employed to extract the main array signature from the dual dataset or to invert this to some preferred wavelet simultaneously. As an additional benefit the reference source yields excellent high-resolution profiles of the shallow geology.  相似文献

Based on observations of electromagnetic radiation, a concept of thermal solar flares has been proposed. The absence of hard X-ray emission implies no accelerated electrons. This fact is the basis of the proposed concept of thermal flares. Since the acceleration rate should not exceed the electron energy loss rate, plasma density in the acceleration range must be at least 1011 cm?3. The temperature of plasma emitting in the soft X-ray range is of the order of 107 K. In the simplified problem of heated plasma hydrodynamics, we calculated the temperature profiles and their changes over time and by coordinate. The emission measure values determined from observations of the soft X-ray emission of flares is of the order of 1045 cm?3. The geometry of the source is an axial symmetric straight cylinder with a section of 1016 cm2 and an axial coordinate determined by the depth of plasma heating. Time profiles of soft X-ray emission were calculated for different sources of plasma heating, which were simulated using the Gaussian distribution law with respect to the coordinate and time. We have considered two modes of plasma heating: single (in time) and multipulse modes with different pulse intervals. The dynamics of plasma heating and cooling was shown to control the experimentally observed time profiles of soft X-ray emission. A comparison of numerical results with observational data allows us to confirm the implications of the proposed concept of thermal flares and, in addition, to perform diagnostics of plasma parameters in the emission source.  相似文献

In order to study the excitation of large-volume airgun source with different combinations in Hutubi, Xinjiang,China,we conducted a targeted experiment. The method of time-frequency analysis is used to study the signals recorded by a seismometer on the shore of the excited pool, and it is concluded that different gun combinations will lead to different frequency of bubble pulse signals. Besides, linear combination method is used to analyze the signal-to-noise ratios of signals excited by different gun combinations which was recorded by seismic stations around the airgun source. In order to improve the signal-to-noise ratios, it is more effective to increase the activation energy (the number of excited guns at the same time) than to stack the excited signals with smaller energy repeatedly.  相似文献

为了研究背景噪声对长江地学气枪主动源实验激发效果的影响,收集了240个台站激发前72小时的背景噪声数据及20个定点激发的叠加结果进行实验分析.先剔除异常台站,按照国标将台网噪声水平划分为高、中、低3个等级进行评估,从而研究气枪波形信噪比与台站背景噪声的关系.结果表明:① 台站接收能力与背景噪声水平密切相关;② 气枪信号的信噪比在一定范围内受背景噪声的影响大于距离衰减的影响;③ 长江马鞍山—安庆流域段不同定点激发的场地条件基本一致;④ 随气枪信号叠加次数的增加,低噪台站的信噪比增长速度快于中、高噪台站,若想获得同样的叠加效果,高噪台站需要的叠加次数远大于低噪台站.   相似文献

2006年8~10月间.国家海洋局第二海洋研究所使用德国SEDIS型三分量海底地震仪以气枪为震源在南海中北部开展了广角地震反射/折射勘测.这是我国大陆科研单位第一次自主开展长距离多剖面的海底地震仪人工地震探测。勘测线共三条。总长达1176.8km.工区最大水深4137m.共投放48台次,回收成功率95-8%。所获得的数据质量良好,深部信息丰富.可直观地分辨出照、Pn、PmP等震相,为南海中北部深部地壳结构、洋壳与陆壳分界和西北、西南次海盆的形成演化研究提供了重要的依据。  相似文献

大容量气枪水库激发作为陆地震源的可行性与有效性已经得到成功验证.为进一步提高气枪震源激发效果,本文通过水库气枪激发试验对单枪容量为2000 in3的气枪震源激发子波特征及规律进行了研究.依据近场水听器和远场短周期地震仪记录数据,分析气枪震源沉放深度、工作压力等不同激发条件对压力脉冲和气泡脉冲的影响.有助于人们根据不同尺度地下结构探测对震源激发信号的要求,调整气枪激发参数和激发环境,获得最佳激发效果.试验结果表明:(1)沉放深度对压力脉冲波形影响较小,其优势频率不随沉放深度而改变;(2)随着沉放深度从5 m增加到11 m,气泡脉冲的优势频率由5 Hz增加至7 Hz,其最大振幅亦近线性递增;(3)工作压力越大,激发压力脉冲能量越强,而对气泡脉冲的影响主要体现在主频降低.适合远距离深穿透地下结构探测的低频信号主要来自大容量气枪所激发气泡的反复振荡,由于气枪振荡过程非常复杂,本文通过较为简洁的数学和物理模型进行了解释.  相似文献

声学深拖作为一个声学设备搭载平台,主要功能是获取高分辨率的声学数据,精细刻画海底地形地貌特征以及浅层剖面结构,对于研究海底浅表层流体活动系统的类型、形成机制和演化模式有着重要作用.本文介绍的合成孔径声学深拖(Synthetic Aperture Sonar Deep-tow)搭载了合成孔径声呐、浅地层剖面仪以及多波束系统等声学设备,相比于传统的侧扫声呐,合成孔径声呐采用小物理孔径基阵通过信号处理虚拟合成大孔径基阵来获得方位向高分辨率,大大提高了测绘速率,同时结合高分辨率的浅地层剖面和多波束背散射数据,可实现海底浅表层特征的三维立体显示.为查明调查区海底浅层流体活动的声学特征,分析天然气水合物相关的流体渗漏活动性与浅层构造之间的关系,我们利用声学深拖对研究区进行了全覆盖的扫测,获得了高分辨率的合成孔径声呐图像、浅地层剖面资料以及多波束背散射数据,平面上识别出多个呈条带状的海底丘状体,火焰状的流体渗漏,新月形的麻坑构造等流体活动地质构造;浅层剖面上可见气体聚集的声学空白段落,凸起的活跃喷口,以及反射杂乱的柱状浑浊带.通过识别流体活动的特征,我们总结了浅层流体活动演化模式具有周期性:游离气体通过高渗透运移通道上升至海底,首先扩散聚集造成局部沉积物体积膨胀形成丘状体;然后受其各种外界因素影响丘状体崩塌而引起气体渗漏;最后流体逸散剥蚀海底松散沉积物而形成麻坑构造;随着流体排出,喷口重新闭合,流体在地层中再次聚集,聚集的气体又将沉积地层上拱,在麻坑底部又可能生成含气丘状体.海底浅表层蕴藏着丰富的地质信息,这对于研究海底复杂的流体活动有着重要意义.  相似文献

During August 1994 to March 1995, a period that included ODP Leg 158 drilling, bottom-water and sub-bottom temperatures were continuously logged by a long-term temperature monitoring system ‘Daibutsu’ at the base of the central black-smoker complex (CBC) and within the low heat flow zone at the TAG hydrothermal mound on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. The temperature of hydrothermal fluid at CBC was also measured with a small high-temperature probe ‘Hobo’. Bottom-water temperature variations measured with Daibutsu at both sites have predominant semi-diurnal periods, causing the sub-bottom temperatures to fluctuate at these periods with reduced amplitudes and phase delays at sub-bottom depths. Seawater entrainment into the mound has been previously suggested at the low heat flow zone. We quantitatively evaluate the seawater entrainment rate at both sites from a one-dimensional numerical model, combined with a heat conduction model for the semi-diurnal variations. The entrainment rate of seawater at the base of CBC is estimated as 1.3±0.5×10−5 m/s, at least from August 17 to 30, 1994. On the other hand, the seawater entrainment rate at the low heat flow zone was undetected by long-term temperature monitoring at shallow sub-bottom depth. Nevertheless an increase in heat flow observed at the low heat flow zone during ODP drilling can be interpreted as a decrease in the entrainment rate of seawater. Before ODP Leg 158, Daibutsu measured three sub-bottom temperature anomalies at the base of CBC not derived from bottom-water temperature variations and Hobo also detected a CBC fluid temperature anomaly, indicating some natural changes in fluid flow within the mound. Daibutsu and Hobo also measured temperature anomalies during and after drilling at the ODP TAG-1 area. The Hobo temperature anomalies are inferred to have occurred when the cold fluid entrained through the drill holes at TAG-1 site reached or cooled the main fluid path to CBC. The entrained seawater through the drill holes appears to have contributed to dissolution and precipitation of anhydrite within the mound and perhaps affected the local permeability structure inside the mound. The temperature anomalies measured with Daibutsu at the base of CBC may have been induced by the change in the fluid flow pattern as a result of such permeability changes within the mound.  相似文献

A commercial marine seismic survey has been completed with the wavefield from the n-element (single guns and clusters) airgun array measured for every shot using an array of n + 2 near-field hydrophones, n of which were required to determine the source wavefield, the remaining two providing a check on the computation. The source wavefield is critical to the determination of the seismic wavelet for the extraction of reflection coefficients from seismic reflection data and for tying the data to wells. The wavefield generated by the full array of interacting airguns can be considered to be the superposition of n spherical pressure waves, or notional source signatures, the n hydrophone measurements providing a set of n simultaneous equations for each shot. The solution of the equations for the notional source signatures requires three ingredients: the geometry of the gun ports and near-field hydrophones; the sensitivity of each hydrophone recording channel; and the relative motion between the near-field hydrophones and the bubbles emitted by the guns. The geometry was measured on the back deck using a tape measure. A calibration data set was obtained at the approach to each line, in which each gun was fired on its own and the resulting wavefield was measured with the near-field hydrophones and recorded. The channel sensitivities, or conversion from pressure at the hydrophones to numbers on the tape, were found for each near-field hydrophone channel using the single gun calibration data, the measured geometry, and the peak pressure from each gun, known from the manufacturer’s calibration. The relative motion between the guns and hydrophones was obtained from the same calibration data set by minimizing the energy in the computed notional source signatures at the guns which did not fire. The full array data were then solved for the notional source signatures, and the pressure was computed at the two spare hydrophones and compared with the actual recordings. The rms errors were 5.3% and 2.8% and would have been smaller if the hydrophone channel sensitivities had been properly calibrated beforehand and if the movement of the guns with respect to the hydrophones had been more restricted. This comparison of the predicted and measured signatures at spare hydrophones can, in principle, be done on every shot and we recommend that this be implemented as a standard quality control procedure whenever it is desired to measure the wavefield of a marine seismic source.  相似文献

Source strength of an airgun array may be increased by:
  • — utilizing higher pressure,
  • — increasing total array volume,
  • — employing more guns,
  • — improving gun efficiency.
One measure of gun efficiency is “specific source strength”, Pa*, defined as source strength per unit quantity of air used. Typical units are MPa m/l. Most developments are directed toward increasing gun pressure and/or gun volume to increase source strength of the array. These efforts require that more air compressors be installed onboard the ship. Consequently, a larger ship may be needed for the additional compressors, guns, and auxiliary equipment. A development program was initiated in 1976 to increase source strength of the array without using a larger ship. New guns were designed and built—one for 41.4 MPa and 7.37 liter (6000 p.s.i./450 in3) operation and another with 13.8 MPa and 4.92 liter (2000 p.s.i./300 in3) capability. Experiments were conducted with these new guns (and existing guns) over a range of pressures from 13.8 to 41.4 MPa (2000 to 6000 p.s.i.). Design of the new guns was aided by a mathematical model. The model relates physical dimensions of the airgun to acoustic pressure in the water. It consists of four nonlinear differential equations relating

  • — bubble pressure,
  • — chamber pressure,
  • — bubble radius.
The last equation is the “free-bubble-oscillation equation” and represents the ideal case of a pressurized bubble released instantaneously in water. Laboratory measurements, and a few in situ observations, show that saturated marine sediments have interdependent mechanical and acoustical properties, Acoustically, of particular importance are the acoustic impedance, velocity of sound and the sound attenuation coefficient of the sediment. The first two properties can be measured relatively easily from a surface ship; the measurement of attenuation however, is more problematical. It is suggested that this can be achieved by a quantitative treatment of the acoustic data collected during routine sub-bottom profiling over a variable thickness of superficial sediments. In the assessment of four different sediment locations in the Irish Sea it was found that quantitative treatment of the acoustic signals yielded both a value of the attenuation coefficient as well as a measure of the frequency dependence of the attenuation. In addition a statistical analysis of the signal intensities seems to provide an indication of the relative roughness of the bottom and sub-bottom interfaces. From the wide range of information provided the mechanical properties of the sea-floor sediment may be estimated.  相似文献
