We study the generalized second law (GSL) of thermodynamics in f(T) cosmology, where T is the torsion scalar in teleparallelism. We consider the universe as a closed bounded system filled with n component fluids in the thermal equilibrium with the cosmological boundary. We use two different cosmic horizons: the future event horizon and the apparent horizon. We show the conditions under which the GSL will be valid in specific scenarios of the quintessence and the phantom energy dominated eras. Further we associate two different entropies with the cosmological horizons: with a logarithmic correction term and a power-law correction term. We also find the conditions for the GSL to be satisfied or violated by imposing constraints on model parameters.  相似文献

In this paper, the generalized second law (GSL) of thermodynamics and entropy is revisited in the context of cosmological models in Gauss-Bonnet gravity with the boundary of the universe is assumed to be enclosed by the dynamical apparent horizon. The model is best fitted with the observational data for distance modulus. The best fitted geometric and thermodynamic parameters such as equation of state parameter, deceleration parameter and entropy are derived. To link between thermodynamic and geometric parameters, the “entropy rate of change multiplied by the temperature” as a model independent thermodynamic state parameter is also derived. The results show that the model is in good agreement with the observational analysis.  相似文献

This paper investigates the validity of generalized second law of thermodynamics using both the power law and logarithmic entropy corrected formulas in a general scalar-tensor gravity. For this purpose, we take non-flat FRW universe model filled with magnetized perfect fluid matter bounded by four different horizons namely Hubble, apparent, particle and event horizons. We introduce a non-minimal interaction between scalar and matter fields and take Lagrangian density of non-linear electromagnetic effects. Finally, we extend this study to anisotropic case by taking Bianchi I universe model bounded by apparent horizon only and investigate the role of anisotropy parameter on the validity of GSLT. In this case, we also explore the behavior of some cosmological parameters.  相似文献

In this paper, the generalized second law (GSL) of thermodynamics and entropy is revisited in the context of cosmological models with bouncing behavior such as chameleon cosmology where the boundary of the universe is assumed to be enclosed by the dynamical apparent horizon. From a thermodynamic point of view, to link between thermodynamic and geometric parameters in cosmological models, we introduce “entropy rate of change multiplied by the temperature” as a model independent thermodynamic state parameter together with the well known {r,s} statefinder to differentiate the dark energy models.  相似文献

We study the validity of the generalized second law (GSL) of gravitational thermodynamics in a non-flat FRW universe containing the interacting in f(T) gravity. We consider that the boundary of the universe to be confined by the dynamical apparent horizon in FRW universe. In general, we discuss the effective equation of state, deceleration parameter and GLS in this framewok. Also, we find that the interacting-term Q modifies these quantities and in particular, the evolution of the total entropy, results in an increases on the GLS of thermodynamic, by a factor $4\pi R_{A}^{3} Q/3$ . By using a viable f(T) gravity with an exponential dependence on the torsion, we develop a model where the interaction term is related to the total energy density of matter. Here, we find that a crossing of phantom divide line is possible for the interacting-f(T) model.  相似文献

In this work, I consider the logarithmic-corrected and the power-law corrected versions of the holographic dark energy (HDE) model in the non-flat FRW universe filled with a viscous Dark Energy (DE) interacting with Dark Matter (DM). I propose to replace the infra-red cut-off with the inverse of the Ricci scalar curvature R. I obtain the equation of state (EoS) parameter ω Λ , the deceleration parameter q and the evolution of energy density parameter $\varOmega_{D}'$ in the presence of interaction between DE and DM for both corrections. I study the correspondence of the logarithmic entropy corrected Ricci Dark Dnergy (LECRDE) and power-law entropy corrected Ricci Dark Energy (PLECRDE) models with the the Modified Chaplygin Gas (MCG) and some scalar fields including tachyon, K-essence, dilaton and quintessence. I also make comparisons with previous results.  相似文献

In the present work we assume that the universe is dominated with a two component mixture which do not evolve separately but interact non-gravitationally with one another. we consider the issue of the tachyon as a source of the dark energy and modified Chaplygin gas as background fluid. So we study the interacting between tachyon field and modified Chaplygin gas in different forms of interactions term Q in both flat and non-flat FRW universe. Then we reconstruct the potential and the dynamics of the tachyon field which describe tachyon cosmology. Also we find a equivalence potential for MCG in this model. Next we study two dark components respect to redshift and we find the conditions that are required for the stability of this model.  相似文献

The cosmological event horizon entropy and the apparent horizon entropy of the ΛCDM and the Bianchi type I Universe model with viscosity has been calculated numerically, and analytically in the large time limit. It is shown that for these Universe models the cosmological event horizon entropy increases with time and for large times it approaches a finite maximum value. The effect of viscosity upon the entropy is also studied and we have found that its role is to decrease the entropy. The bigger the viscosity coefficient is the less the entropy will be. Furthermore, the radiation entropy for the ΛCDM Universe model with and without viscosity is investigated, and together with the cosmological event horizon entropy are used to examine the validity of the generalized second law of thermodynamics, which states that the total rate of change of entropy of the Universe is never negative, in this Universe model.  相似文献

This paper is aimed to investigate 5D holographic dark energy (HDE) in DGP-Brane cosmology by employing a combination of Sne Ia, BAO and CMB observational data and constraining cosmological parameters. The FRW dynamics for the normal branch (?=+1) solution of induced gravity brane-world model is taken with the assumption that matter in 5D bulk is HDE such that its holographic nature is reproduced effectively in 4D universe. In the HDE model, we used Hubble horizon as IR cutoff instead of future event horizon. This way, while the model predicts current universe acceleration, it also removes the problem of circular reasoning and causality observed in using future event horizon as IR cutoff.  相似文献

We propose in this paper an interacting holographic dark energy (IHDE) model in chameleon–tachyon cosmology by interaction between the components of the dark sectors. In the formalism, the interaction term emerges from the scalar field coupling matter Lagrangian in the model rather than being inserted into the formalism as an external source for the interaction. The correspondence between the tachyon field and the holographic dark energy (HDE) densities allows to reconstruct the tachyon scalar field and its potential in a flat FRW universe. The model can show the accelerated expansion of the universe and satisfies the observational data.  相似文献

The present work deals with irreversible thermodynamics of universe containing interacting dark fluids. Recent observational evidences reveal that the universe is dominated by two dark components-dark matter and dark energy. The interaction between them leads to spontaneous heat flow between the horizon and the fluid system and as a result the system will no longer be in thermal equilibrium. In this paper dark matter is chosen as pressureless dust while modified Chaplygin gas has been considered as dark energy. In two separate cases we have considered the universe to be bounded by apparent horizon and event horizon and the validity of generalized second law of thermodynamics in the context of irreversible thermodynamics has been studied for both the cases.  相似文献

In this work, we consider the framework of non-linear electrodynamics in Bianchi type I universe model composed of matter and electromagnetic field. We deal with electric and magnetic universe separately. In this scenario, we calculate the electric and magnetic fields and their corresponding matter densities using two particular types of interaction terms. We also check the validity of generalized second law of thermodynamics in both universe models enclosed by apparent horizon. It turns out that this law holds on the apparent horizon for a particular range depending upon the parameters. Finally, we discuss the deceleration and statefinder parameters to check the viability of these models.  相似文献

Considering power-law for of scale factor in a flat FRW universe we reported a reconstruction scheme for f(G) gravity based on QCD ghost dark energy. We reconstructed the effective equation of state parameter and observed “quintessence” behavior of the equation of state parameter. Furthermore, considering dynamical apparent horizon as the enveloping horizon of the universe we have observed that the generalized second law of thermodynamics is valid for this reconstructed f(G) gravity.  相似文献

In this work, we have considered the spatially homogeneous and anisotropic Bianchi type-II universe filled with two interacting fluids; dark matter and holographic dark energy components. Assuming the proportionality relation between one of the components of shear scalar and expansion scalar which yields time dependent deceleration parameter, an exact solution to Einstein’s field equations in Bianchi type-II line element is obtained. We have investigated geometric and kinematics properties of the model and the behaviour of the holographic dark energy. It is observed that the mean anisotropic parameter is uniform through the whole evolution of the universe and the coincidence parameter increases with increasing time. The solutions are also found to be in good agreement with the results of recent observations. We have applied the statefinder diagnostics method to study the behaviour of different stages of the universe and to differentiate the proposed dark energy model from the ΛCDM model. We have also established a correspondence between the holographic dark energy model and the tachyon scalar field dark energy model. We have reconstructed the potential and the dynamics of the tachyon scalar field, which describes accelerated expansion of the universe.  相似文献

We consider the cosmological dynamics of a tachyon field localized on the extended DGP braneworld scenario. We present a detailed analysis of the critical points in the phase space of the model, their stability and late-time cosmological viability of the solutions. We study the luminosity distance behavior of this ?EDGP model and compare it with ΛCDM model. Also we show that the EDGP solutions in the presence of tachyon field can explain late time acceleration of the universe.  相似文献

We consider generalized teleparallel gravity in the flat FRW universe with a viable power-law f(T) model. We construct its equation of state and deceleration parameters which give accelerated expansion of the universe in quintessence era for the obtained scale factor. Further, we develop correspondence of f(T) model with scalar field models such as, quintessence, tachyon, K-essence and dilaton. The dynamics of scalar field as well as scalar potential of these models indicate the expansion of the universe with acceleration in the f(T) gravity scenario.  相似文献

We investigate the validity of the generalized second law of gravitational thermodynamics in a non-flat FRW universe containing the interacting generalized Chaplygin gas with the baryonic matter. The boundary of the universe is assumed to be enclosed by the dynamical apparent horizon. We show that for the interacting generalized Chaplygin gas as a unified candidate for dark matter and dark energy, the equation of state parameter can cross the phantom divide. We also present that for the selected model under thermal equilibrium with the Hawking radiation, the generalized second law is always satisfied throughout the history of the universe for any spatial curvature, independently of the equation of state of the interacting generalized Chaplygin gas model.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the validity of the generalized second law (GSL) in phantom dominated universe in the presence of a Reissner-Nordström (RN) black hole. Our study is independent of the origin of the phantom like behavior of the considered universe. We also discuss the GSL in the neighborhood of transition from quintessence to phantom regime. We show that for a constant equation of state parameter, the GSL may be satisfied provided that the temperature is proportional to de Sitter temperature. It is shown that in models with (only) a transition from quintessence to phantom regime the generalized second law does not hold in the transition epoch. Next we show that if the phantom energy has a chemical potential, then the GSL will hold if the mass of black hole is above from a critical value.  相似文献

In this work, we study universe bounded by apparent horizon as an irreversible thermodynamical system. Using the non equilibrium thermodynamical technique, the modified entropy variation on the apparent horizon has been evaluated in general. Two dark energy models are presented and results are analyzed.  相似文献
