In this paper, we have studied the magnetized quark matter (QM) and strange quark matter (SQM) distributions in the presence of \(f(R,T)\) gravity in the background of Friedmann-Lemaître-Robertson-Walker (FLRW) metric. To get exact solutions of modified field equations we have used \(f(R,T ) = R + 2 f(T)\) model given by Harko et al. with two different parametrization of geometrical parameters i.e. the parametrization of the deceleration parameter \(q \), and the scale factor \(a \) in hybrid expansion form. Also, we have obtained Einstein Static Universe (ESU) solutions for QM and SQM distributions in \(f(R,T)\) gravity and General Relativity (GR). All models in \(f(R,T)\) gravity and GR for FRW and ESU Universes with QM also SQM distributions, we get zero magnetic field. These results agree with the solutions of Akta? and Aygün in \(f(R,T)\) gravity. However, we have also discussed the physical consequences of our obtained models.  相似文献

Exploring weakly perturbed Keplerian motion within the restricted three-body problem, Lidov (Planet Space Sci 9:719–759, 1962) and, independently, Kozai (Astron J 67:591–598, 1962) discovered coupled oscillations of eccentricity and inclination (the KL cycles). Their classical studies were based on an integrable model of the secular evolution, obtained by double averaging of the disturbing function approximated with its first non-trivial term. This was the quadrupole term in the series expansion with respect to the ratio of the semimajor axis of the disturbed body to that of the disturbing body. If the next (octupole) term is kept in the expression for the disturbing function, long-term modulation of the KL cycles can be established (Ford et al. in Astrophys J 535:385–401, 2000; Naoz et al. in Nature 473:187–189, 2011; Katz et al. in Phys Rev Lett 107:181101, 2011). Specifically, flips between the prograde and retrograde orbits become possible. Since such flips are observed only when the perturber has a nonzero eccentricity, the term “eccentric Kozai–Lidov effect” (or EKL effect) was proposed by Lithwick and Naoz (Astrophys J 742:94, 2011) to specify such behavior. We demonstrate that the EKL effect can be interpreted as a resonance phenomenon. To this end, we write down the equations of motion in terms of “action-angle” variables emerging in the integrable Kozai–Lidov model. It turns out that for some initial values the resonance is degenerate and the usual “pendulum” approximation is insufficient to describe the evolution of the resonance phase. Analysis of the related bifurcations allows us to estimate the typical time between the successive flips for different parts of the phase space.  相似文献

A version of the virial theorem is derived in a brane-world scenario in the framework of a warped DGP model where the action on the brane is an arbitrary function of the Ricci scalar, $\mathcal{L}(R)$ . The extra terms in the modified Einstein equations generate an equivalent mass term (geometrical mass), which give an effective contribution to the gravitational energy and offer viable explanation to account for the virial mass discrepancy in clusters of galaxies. We also obtain the radial velocity dispersion of galaxy clusters and show that it is compatible with the radial velocity dispersion profile of such clusters. Finally, we compare the result of the model with $\mathcal{L}(R)$ gravity theories.  相似文献

IUE has made very successful long term and intense short time-scale monitoring spectroscopic study of NGC 4151, a Seyfert 1 galaxy for over nearly 18 years from its launch in 1978 to 1996. The long-term observations have been useful in understanding the complex relation between UV continuum and emission line variability Seyfert galaxies. In this paper, we present the results of our studies on the short-timescale intense monitoring campaign of NGC 4151 undertaken during December 1–15, 1993. A most intense monitoring observation of NGC 4151 was carried out by IUE in 1993, when the source was at its historical high flux state with a shortest interval of 70 min between two successive observations. We present our results on emission line and continuum variability amplitudes characterized by \(F_{\mathrm{var}}\) method. We found highest variability of nearly 8.3% at 1325 \(\AA \) continuum with a smallest amplitude of 4% at 2725 \(\AA \). The relative variability amplitudes (\(R_\mathrm{max}\)) have been found to be 1.372, 1.319, 1.302 and 1.182 at 1325, 1475, 1655 and 2725 \(\AA \) continuum respectively. The continuum and emission line variability characteristics obtained in the present analysis are in very good agreement with the results obtained by Edelson et al. (1996) and Crenshaw et al. (1996) from the analysis of the same observational spectral data. The large amplitude rapid variability characteristics obtained in our study have been attributed to the continuum reprocessing of X-rays absorbed by the material in the accretion disk as proposed by Shakura and Sunyaev (1973). The continuum and emission light curves have shown four distinct high amplitude events of flux maxima during the intense monitoring campaign of 15 days, providing a good limit on the amplitude of UV variability and the BLR size in low luminosity Seyfert galaxies and are useful for constraining the continuum emission models. The decreasing \(F_{\mathrm{var}}\) amplitude of UV continuum with respect to increasing wavelength obtained in the present study and consistent with similar observations by Edelson et al. (1996) and Crenshaw et al. (1996) is a significant result of the intense monitoring observations.  相似文献

An empirical model of solar UV spectral irradiance has been developed that is based on observed spectral radiance measurements and full disk Ca ii K images. The Mg ii index is then calculated from the estimated spectra in a narrow wavelength range (180 Å) near the Mg ii doublet at 2800 Å. Our long term goal is to expand this wavelength range from 10 to 4000 Å in continuing studies based on spectral data covering this wavelength range (e.g. Skylab, UARS/SUSIM, TIMED/SEE, etc.). Our previous modeling effort produced spectra in this 180 Å range and the resulting Mg ii index values for the period from 1991 through 1995 and we have used observations during this time period to validate the model results. The current paper presents results from this model based on a 21-year portion of the recently digitized Ca ii K images from the Mt Wilson Observatory (MWO) film archive. Here we present details of the model, the required model modifications, and the resulting Mg ii index from 1961 through 1981. Since the NOAA Mg ii index did not begin until 1978, the present model results are compared to a Mg ii index estimated from the F10.7 radio flux over this 21-year period. The NOAA Mg ii index, which is derived from measured UV spectra, is also included for comparison from late 1978 through 1981.  相似文献

A spatially homogeneous and anisotropic locally rotationally symmetric Bianchi type-I spacetime with cosmological term \(\varLambda \) in \(f(R,T) \) theory has been studied. The exact solution of the field equations is obtained under a variation law of the Hubble parameter \((H) \) which yields a time dependent deceleration parameter (Banerjee and Das in Gen. Relativ. Gravit. 37:10, 2005). The model presents a cosmological scenario which describes early deceleration and late time acceleration. The physical parameters of the model have been analysed.  相似文献

A new high-resolution radio spectropolarimeter instrument operating in the frequency range of 15?–?85 MHz has recently been commissioned at the Radio Astronomy Field Station of the Indian Institute of Astrophysics at Gauribidanur, 100 km north of Bangalore, India. We describe the design and construction of this instrument. We present observations of a solar radio noise storm associated with Active Region (AR) 12567 in the frequency range of \({\approx}\,15\,\mbox{--}\,85~\mbox{MHz}\) during 18 and 19 July 2016, observed using this instrument in the meridian-transit mode. This is the first report that we are aware of in which both the burst and continuum properties are derived simultaneously. Spectral indices and degree of polarization of both the continuum radiation and bursts are estimated. It is found that
  1. i)
Type I storm bursts have a spectral index of \({\approx}\,{+}3.5\),

  2. ii)
the spectral index of the background continuum is \({\approx}\,{+}2.9\),

  3. iii)
the transition frequency between Type I and Type III storms occurs at \({\approx}\,55~\mbox{MHz}\),

  4. iv)
Type III bursts have an average spectral index of \({\approx}\,{-}2.7\),

  5. v)
the spectral index of the Type III continuum is \({\approx}\,{-}1.6\), and

  6. vi)
the degree of circular polarization of all Type I (Type III) bursts is \({\approx}\,90\%\) (\(30\%\)).

The results obtained here indicate that the continuum emission is due to bursts occurring in rapid succession. We find that the derived parameters for Type I bursts are consistent with suprathermal electron acceleration theory and those of Type III favor fundamental plasma emission.

In this paper, multiwavelength chromatic luminosity at radio (\(\log L _{\mathrm{R}}\)), optical (\(\log L_{\mathrm{O}}\)), X-ray (\(\log L _{\mathrm{X}}\)), and \(\gamma \)-rays (\(\log L_{\gamma }\)) for a sample of 442 Fermi blazars with known redshifts are collected from Fan et al. (2016), to study the correlations between the \(\gamma \)-rays and the low-energy bands using a multiple linear regression analysis. In this way, we can see which band is more important for the \(\gamma \)-ray emissions. Mutual correlation analysis is also used to discuss the correlations between the \(\gamma \)-ray and the low energy bands for the whole sample and subclasses. We come to following conclusions:
  1. 1.
The multiple linear correlation indicates that the \(\gamma \)-rays are correlated with the radio, optical and the X-ray emissions for the whole sample and the subclasses of flat spectrum radio quasars (FSRQs) and BL Lac objects (BL Lacs), the correlation between the \(\gamma \)-rays and the radio emissions is the strongest one.

  2. 2.
For BL Lacs, the optical emissions are more important than the X-rays for the \(\gamma \)-rays, while the X-ray emissions are more important than optical ones in FSRQs.

  3. 3.
The \(\gamma \)-ray emissions in HBL are from an synchrotron self-Compton, while those in FSRQs may be from external Compton and synchrotron self-Compton as well.

Ethylene oxide (\(c\)-C2H4O) and its isomer acetaldehyde (CH3CHO) are important organic molecules because of their potential role in the formation of amino acids. The \(c\)-C2H4O molecule is a \(b\)-type asymmetric top molecule and owing to half-spin of each of the four hydrogen atoms, it has two distinct ortho (nuclear spin one) and para (nuclear spin zero and two) species. It has been detected in the Sgr B2N. Using the rotational and centrifugal distortion constants along with the electric dipole moment, we have calculated energies of 100 rotational levels of each of the ortho and para species of \(c\)-C2H4O molecule and the Einstein \(A\)-coefficients for radiative transitions between the levels. The values of Einstein \(A\)-coefficients along with the scaled values for the collisional rate coefficients are used for solving a set of statistical equilibrium equations coupled with the equations of radiative transfer.Brightness-temperatures of five rotational transitions of each of the ortho and para species of \(c\)-C2H4O molecule are investigated. Out of these ten transitions, three transitions are found to show the anomalous absorption and rest seven are found to show the emission feature. We have also investigated seven transitions observed unblended in the Sgr B2(N). We have found that the transitions \(3_{3 0} - 3_{2 1}\) (23.134 GHz), \(2_{2 0} - 2_{1 1}\) (15.603 GHz), \(3_{3 1} - 3_{2 2}\) (39.680 GHz) and \(1_{1 1} - 0_{0 0}\) (39.582 GHz) may play important role for the identification of ethylene oxide in a cosmic object.  相似文献

We examine the sensitivity of selected Ba?ii, Fe?i, Fe?ii, and Cr?i spectral lines to changes of the line-of-sight velocity by sharpness of their line profiles and response functions to line-of-sight velocity evaluated by the 1-D model of the quiet solar atmosphere in the LTE approximation. The set of selected lines includes the Ba?ii 4554 Å line, generally considered to be an excellent Doppler mapper. Our findings confirm earlier results showing that the sensitivity increases not only with wavelength, as anticipated from the Doppler relation, but mainly with the sharpness of line profiles given by the ratio of their depths and widths. The line Fe?i 5247 Å is the most sensitive in our set, whereas the Fe?i and Fe?ii infrared lines show very low sensitivity because of their large thermal widths. The line Ba?ii 4554 Å shows only moderate sensitivity due to its large width, given by a broad hyperfine structure and isotopic split. For the first time we identify a very promising and so far unknown Doppler mapper of the solar photosphere and low chromosphere, which is the line Ba?ii 6497 Å. Its sensitivity is comparable with the sensitivity of Fe?i 5247 Å and clearly surpasses the sensitivity of Ba?ii 4554 Å. The line Ba?ii 6497 Å offers many advantages, making it a highly recommendable choice for future studies of line-of-sight velocities in the photosphere and low chromosphere.  相似文献

We present an algorithm for the rapid numerical integration of a time-periodic ODE with a small dissipation term that is \(C^1\) in the velocity. Such an ODE arises as a model of spin–orbit coupling in a star/planet system, and the motivation for devising a fast algorithm for its solution comes from the desire to estimate probability of capture in various solutions, via Monte Carlo simulation: the integration times are very long, since we are interested in phenomena occurring on timescales of the order of \(10^6\)\(10^7\) years. The proposed algorithm is based on the high-order Euler method which was described in Bartuccelli et al. (Celest Mech Dyn Astron 121(3):233–260, 2015), and it requires computer algebra to set up the code for its implementation. The payoff is an overall increase in speed by a factor of about 7.5 compared to standard numerical methods. Means for accelerating the purely numerical computation are also discussed.  相似文献

In this paper, the initial value problem of space dynamics in universal Stumpff anomaly \(\psi\) is set up and developed in analytical and computational approach. For the analytical expansions, the linear independence of the functions \(\mathrm{U}_{{ j}} { (\psi;\varsigma)}\); \({j=0,1,2,3}\) are proved. The differential and recurrence equations satisfied by them and their relations with the elementary functions are given. The universal Kepler equation and its validations for different conic orbits are established together with the Lagrangian coefficients. Efficient representations of these functions are developed in terms of the continued fractions.
For the computational developments we consider the following items:
  1. 1.
Top-down algorithm for continued fraction evaluation.

  2. 2.
    One-point iteration formulae.

  3. 3.
Determination of the coefficients of Kepler’s equation.

  4. 4.
Derivatives of Kepler’s equation of any integer order.

  5. 5.
Determination of the initial guess for the solution of the universal Kepler equation.

Finally we give summary on the computational design for the initial value problem of space dynamics in universal Stumpff anomaly. This design based on the solution of the universal Kepler’s equation by an iterative schemes of quadratic up to any desired order \(\ell\).  相似文献

In this study, we present CCD UBV photometry of poorly studied open star clusters, Dolidze 36, NGC 6728, NGC 6800, NGC 7209, and Platais 1, located in the first and second Galactic quadrants. Observations were obtained with T100, the 1-m telescope of the TÜB?TAK National Observatory. Using photometric data, we determined several astrophysical parameters such as reddening, distance, metallicity and ages and from them, initial mass functions, integrated magnitudes and colours. We took into account the proper motions of the observed stars to calculate the membership probabilities. The colour excesses and metallicities were determined independently using two-colour diagrams. After obtaining the colour excesses of the clusters Dolidze 36, NGC 6728, NGC 6800, NGC 7209, and Platais 1 as \(0.19\pm0.06\), \(0.15\pm0.05\), \(0.32\pm0.05\), \(0.12\pm 0.04\), and \(0.43\pm0.06\) mag, respectively, the metallicities are found to be \(0.00\pm0.09\), \(0.02\pm0.11\), \(0.03\pm0.07\), \(0.01\pm0.08\), and \(0.01\pm0.08\) dex, respectively. Furthermore, using these parameters, distance moduli and age of the clusters were also calculated from colour-magnitude diagrams simultaneously using PARSEC theoretical models. The distances to the clusters Dolidze 36, NGC 6728, NGC 6800, NGC 7209, and Platais 1 are \(1050\pm90\), \(1610\pm190\), \(1210\pm150\), \(1060\pm90\), and \(1710\pm250\) pc, respectively, while corresponding ages are \(400\pm100\), \(750\pm150\), \(400\pm100\), \(600\pm100\), and \(175\pm50\) Myr, respectively. Our results are compatible with those found in previous studies. The mass function of each cluster is derived. The slopes of the mass functions of the open clusters range from 1.31 to 1.58, which are in agreement with Salpeter’s initial mass function. We also found integrated absolute magnitudes varying from ?4.08 to ?3.40 for the clusters.  相似文献

It is shown that a number of superfast, with periods \(< 2\) d, exoplanets revolve around parent stars with periods, near-commensurate with \(P_{E}\) and/or \(2 P_{E} / \pi\), where the exoplanet resonance timescale \(P_{E}=9603(85)\) s agrees fairly well with the period \(P_{0}= 9600.606(12)\) s of the so-called “cosmic oscillation” (the probability that the two timescales would coincide by chance is near \(3 \times10^{-4}\); the \(P_{0}\) period was discovered first in the Sun, and later on—in other objects of Cosmos). True nature of the exoplanet \(P_{0}\) resonance is unknown.  相似文献

The physical parameters of the solar wind observed in-situ near 1 AU have been studied for several decades, and relationships between them, such as the positive correlation between the solar wind plasma temperature, \(T\), and velocity, \(V\), and the negative correlation between density, \(N\), and velocity, \(V\), are well known. However, the magnetic field intensity, \(B\), does not appear to be well correlated with any individual plasma parameter. In this article, we discuss previously under-reported correlations between \(B\) and the combined plasma parameters \(\sqrt{N V^{2}} \) as well as between \(B\) and \(\sqrt{NT}\). These two correlations are strong during periods of corotating interaction regions and high-speed streams, and moderate during intervals of slow solar wind. The results indicate that the magnetic pressure in the solar wind is well correlated both with the plasma dynamic pressure and the thermal pressure.  相似文献

More than 80 giant planets are known by mass and radius. Their interior structure in terms of core mass, number of layers, and composition however is still poorly known. An overview is presented about the core mass M core and envelope mass of metals M Z in Jupiter as predicted by various equations of state. It is argued that the uncertainty about the true H/He EOS in a pressure regime where the gravitational moments J 2 and J 4 are most sensitive, i.e. between 0.5 and 4 Mbar, is in part responsible for the broad range \(M_{\mathit{core}}=0{-}18\:M_{\oplus }\), \(M_{Z}=0{-}38\:M_{\oplus }\), and \(M_{\mathit{core}}+M_{Z}=14{-}38\:M_{\oplus }\) currently offered for Jupiter. We then compare the Jupiter models obtained when we only match J 2 with the range of solutions for the exoplanet \(\mathrm{GJ}\:436\mathrm{b}\), when we match an assumed tidal Love number k 2 value.  相似文献

Far-ultraviolet photometry derived from the GALEX satellite observatory has been compiled for a sample of metal-poor subdwarfs with \(\mathrm{[Fe/H]} < -1.0\). The FUV properties of these subdwarfs are compared with those of a set of Population I dwarfs that are known to have low levels of chromospheric activity. Comparisons are made via a number of photometric plots, including an absolute FUV magnitude versus \((V-K_{s})\) diagram, two-colour diagrams involving both \((m_{ \mathrm{FUV}}-B)\) and \((m_{\mathrm{FUV}}-V)\) versus \(B-V\), and a two-colour diagram composed of \((m_{\mathrm{FUV}}-V)\) versus \((V-K_{s})\). The warmest subdwarfs with \((V-K_{s}) \sim1.2\mbox{--}1.4\) show FUV excesses ranging from \(\sim2\mbox{--}3~\mbox{mag}\) relative to the Population I dwarfs, with the amount of FUV enhancement decreasing among subdwarfs of decreasing effective temperature. The coolest dwarfs that are compared have \((V-K_{s}) \sim1.8\), and among these stars the subdwarfs with \(-2.0 \leq{\mathrm{[Fe/H]}} \leq-1.0\) approach the locus of low activity Population I dwarfs in the \((m_{\mathrm{FUV}}-V, V-K_{s})\) diagram. In the \((m_{\mathrm{FUV}}-B, B-V)\) diagram the subdwarfs in this metallicity range overlap the Population I dwarf sequence for \((B-V) > 0.6\). The behaviour of the subdwarfs is consistent with their FUV fluxes being determined by a combination of a photospheric FUV spectrum, the strength of which diminishes towards cooler effective temperatures, and a spectrum of emission lines arising from a chromosphere and/or transition region which are of comparable strength between the coolest dwarfs and subdwarfs.  相似文献

The term “jumping” Trojan was introduced by Tsiganis et al. (Astron Astrophys 354:1091–1100, 2000) in their studies of long-term dynamics exhibited by the asteroid (1868) Thersites, which had been observed to jump from librations around \(L_4\) to librations around \(L_5\). Another example of a “jumping” Trojan was found by Connors et al. (Nature 475:481–483, 2011): librations of the asteroid 2010 TK7 around the Earth’s libration point \(L_4\) preceded by its librations around \(L_5\). We explore the dynamics of “jumping” Trojans under the scope of the restricted planar elliptical three-body problem. Via double numerical averaging we construct evolutionary equations, which allow analyzing transitions between different regimes of orbital motion.  相似文献

We study the physical behavior of a five dimensional non-static spherically symmetric cosmological models in the presence of massive strings in the framework of \(f(R,T)\) gravity proposed by Harko et al. (Phys. Rev. D 84:024020, 2011). Here \(R\) is the Ricci scalar and \(T\) is the trace of the stress energy tensor and the fifth dimension is not observed because it is compact. We solve the field equations (i) using a relation between the scale factors given by Samantha and Dhal (Int. J. Theor. Phys. 52:1334, 2013) and (ii) equations of state for string models. The models obtained correspond to \(p\)-string, geometric string and massive string models in this modified theory in five dimensions. Cosmological parameters of the models are determined and their dynamical properties are discussed.  相似文献
