对三维非静力中尺度模式ARPS的云降水微物理方案进行了改进,利用改进后的ARPS模式模拟了祁连山地区夏季的两个地形云个例,通过对各自模拟结果的对比分析并结合实况资料研究了夏季祁连山地区地形云的发展状况、动力场特征、降水特征以及云微物理结构特征。研究结果表明,地形云的发展受地形影响很大,地形的抬升促进了云和降水的发展,地形的作用也改变了地面降水特征,使云的宏、微观物理结构发生较大变化。  相似文献

Abstract

This study presents a semi‐analytic non‐iterative solution for the Monin‐Obukhov similarity equations under unstable surface conditions. The solution is represented in terms of the non‐dimensional Monin‐Obukhov stability parameter z/L. This parameter is given as a function of the bulk Richardson number and other surface parameters including the heat and momentum roughness lengths which are generally assumed to be different in this formulation. The proposed formulations give results that are both quantitatively and qualitatively consistent with the fully iterated numerical solution for a wide range of surface parameters.  相似文献

Knowledge of cloud vertical structure is important for meteorological and climate studies due to the impact of clouds on both the Earth’s radiation budget and atmospheric adiabatic heating. Yet it is among the most difficult quantities to observe. In this study, we develop a long-term (10 years) radiosonde-based cloud profile product over the Southern Great Plains and along with ground-based and space-borne remote sensing products, use it to evaluate cloud layer distributions simulated by the National Centers for Environmental Prediction global forecast system (GFS) model. The primary objective of this study is to identify advantages and limitations associated with different cloud layer detection methods and model simulations. Cloud occurrence frequencies are evaluated on monthly, annual, and seasonal scales. Cloud vertical distributions from all datasets are bimodal with a lower peak located in the boundary layer and an upper peak located in the high troposphere. In general, radiosonde low-level cloud retrievals bear close resemblance to the ground-based remote sensing product in terms of their variability and gross spatial patterns. The ground-based remote sensing approach tends to underestimate high clouds relative to the radiosonde-based estimation and satellite products which tend to underestimate low clouds. As such, caution must be exercised to use any single product. Overall, the GFS model simulates less low-level and more high-level clouds than observations. In terms of total cloud cover, GFS model simulations agree fairly well with the ground-based remote sensing product. A large wet bias is revealed in GFS-simulated relative humidity fields at high levels in the atmosphere.  相似文献

据1960—2009年606个气象台站总云量和低云量观测数据分析显示,我国总云量总体处于下降趋势,相对于20世纪60至70年代云覆盖年变化平稳阶段,1980 2009年全国平均总云量下降了0.6%,但长江以南沿海地区和新疆少部分地区总云量一直变化比较平稳。低云变化空间不均性差异较大,以四川盆地为中心区域50年间低云持续减少,从20世纪60年代开始,平均每10年年平均下降幅度达4.0%;长江以南、东北东部和新疆西部至青藏高原北部区域低云却增加了,平均每10年增加4.8%。  相似文献

本文是祁连山夏季地形云结构和微物理过程模拟的第II部分。文中利用第I部分中祁连山夏季两个地形云降水个例的模拟结果,详细分析了地形云及其降水发展期间云微物理过程的特征及变化,并通过与平坦地面条件下模拟结果的对比,研究了云发展过程中的地形影响。研究表明,地形云中微物理过程的发展受地形影响很大,冰相微物理过程明显增强;地形影响下云的主要降水机制也受到影响甚至被改变。  相似文献

对三维非静力中尺度模式ARPS的云微物理方案进行了改进,利用改进后的模式模拟了华北地区的积层混合云降水个例,通过对模拟结果的分析并结合实况资料研究了积层混合云的降水特征、云物理结构特征和微物理过程。结果表明,积层混合云降水分布不均匀,雨区中存在多个强降水中心,云系中微物理量在水平和垂直方向上分布都不均匀,积云中的垂直液态水积分含量大大高于层云中含量,此次降水冰相过程占主导地位,霰的融化是最主要的雨生成项。  相似文献

Cloud radiative kernels (CRK) built with radiative transfer models have been widely used to analyze the cloud radiative effect on top of atmosphere (TOA) fluxes, and it is expected that the CRKs would also be useful in the analyses of surface radiative fluxes, which determines the regional surface temperature change and variability. In this study, CRKs at the surface and TOA were built using the Rapid Radiative Transfer Model (RRTM). Longwave cloud radiative effect (CRE) at the surface is primarily driven by cloud base properties, while TOA CRE is primarily decided by cloud top properties. For this reason, the standard version of surface CRK is a function of latitude, longitude, month, cloud optical thickness (τ) and cloud base pressure (CBP), and the TOA CRK is a function of latitude, longitude, month, τ and cloud top pressure (CTP). Considering that the cloud property histograms provided by climate models are functions of CTP instead of CBP at present, the surface CRKs on CBP-τ histograms were converted to CTP-τ fields using the statistical relationship between CTP, CBP and τ obtained from collocated CloudSat and MODIS observations. For both climate model outputs and satellites observations, the climatology of surface CRE and cloud-induced surface radiative anomalies calculated with the surface CRKs and cloud property histograms are well correlated with those calculated from surface radiative fluxes. The cloud-induced surface radiative anomalies reproduced by surface CRKs and MODIS cloud property histograms are not affected by spurious trends that appear in Clouds and the Earth's Radiant Energy System (CERES) surface irradiances products.  相似文献

云检测中所使用的云检测阈值正确与否是关系到云检测精度的重要因素。该文利用1983年7月-2007年6月ISCCP数据对覆盖我国及周边区域不同云类云顶温度的年、日变化特征进行分析, 得到云顶温度的分布特征; 对晴空下垫面与最暖云云顶温度差随纬度分布特征、不同区域晴空下垫面及云顶温度与晴空地表温度差日变化特征进行分析, 这些特征及每3 h的晴空下垫面24年平均亮温作为云检测算法的背景场, 用以判识实时动态提取云检测阈值的合理性。个例分析表明:利用多年平均晴空下垫面温度及最暖云云顶温度与晴空下垫面温度之差, 可有效识别云检测阈值的合理性, 合理的阈值有助于提高连续多日被云覆盖及冰雪下垫面条件下的云检测精度。  相似文献

In this paper, recent research of microwave remote sensing of atmosphere, cloud and rain in China is presented. It includes the following aspects:(1) Progress in the development of multifrequency radiometer and its characteristics and parameters;(2) Application of microwave remote sensing in prediction of atmospheric boundary layer. The atmospheric temperature profiles are derived with 5 mm (54.5 GHz) radiometer angle-scanning observations. Due to the fact that microwave radiometer could monitor the atmospheric temperature profile continuously and make the initialization of numerical model any time, it is helpful for improving the accuracy in prediction of the evolution of atmospheric boundary layer;(3) Theory and application of microwave radiometers in monitoring atmospheric temperature, humidity and water content in cloud. The field experiment of International Satellite Cloud Climatology Project (ISCCP) at Shionomisaki and Amami Oshima of Japan for studies of cloud and weather has been described;(4) Satellite remote sensing of atmosphere and cloud. The TIROS-N TOVS satellite data are used to obtain at-mospheric temperature profile. The results are compared with those of radiosonde, with rms deviation smaller than that of the current operational TOVS processing;(5) Microwave remote sensing and communication. The atmospheric attenuations are derived with microwave remote sensing methods such as solar radiation method etc., in order to obtain the local value instantaneously. The characteristics of Beijing’s rainfall have been analysed and the probability of microwave attenuation of rain is predicted;(6) For improvement of the accuracy of rainfall measurement, a radiometer-radar system (λ= 3.2 cm) has been developed. The variation of rainfull distribution and area-rainfall may be obtained by its measurements, which may be helpful for hydrological prediction.The prospect of microwave remote sensing in meteorology is also discussed.  相似文献

降水云是人工增雨作业的主要对象,了解降水云系的垂直结构对于人工增雨可播条件的选择至关重要。利用Cloudsat卫星2008年3月—2009年2月资料,首先通过大量个例分析并结合地面降水量观测验证Cloudsat卫星识别降水云方法的合理性,在此基础上,统计分析了华北和江淮地区降水云与非降水云的垂直结构特征。统计结果表明:降水云与非降水云垂直结构存在明显差异, 两地区降水云云底高度都在2 km以下,非降水云的云底高度以高于2 km为主。两地区单层降水云云厚以大于6 km为主,多层降水云云厚以2~4 km为主,非降水云云厚以小于2 km为主。两地区降水云夹层厚度集中于1~2 km,非降水云夹层厚度集中在4 km以上。江淮地区多层云降水频率略高于华北地区。  相似文献

2013年5月1日至6月8日,中国气象局气象探测中心在中国气象局大气探测综合试验基地进行了云高观测试验,试验仪器包括:(1)毫米波云雷达(35 GHz),观测数据为回波功率值,时间分辨率1 min;(2)激光云高仪,观测数据为后向散射光强度,时间分辨率为1 min;本工作对39天试验数据进行对比分析,结果表明:毫米波云雷达数据获取率要比激光云高仪的数据获取率高26%;在雾霾天气时激光云高仪的数据获取率比毫米波云雷达低51%;降水天气对激光云高仪测量云底高度的结果影响较大,对云雷达的测量的结果影响较小;毫米波云雷达和激光云高仪测得云底高度平均相差不超过300 m,比较接近。  相似文献

膨胀云室可形成水汽、水面和冰面过饱和环境,是研究气溶胶粒子、人工影响天气冷暖催化剂核化过程和机理的重要实验设备。但长期以来,我国缺乏装备先进云雾粒子谱和图像测量系统的膨胀云室。2019年完成的我国自主研制的膨胀云室系统由云室主体、控制系统、通讯系统及环境和云雾测量系统4个子系统组成。该系统首次采用了国产云粒子谱仪和成像仪测量系统。测试结果表明:该云室具有良好的温度和压力控制能力,平均降温速率达到0.26℃·min-1,温度分布均匀,-40℃时舱内温差小于0.29℃;膨胀造雾过程4 min,雾可维持4 min,雾滴较小;可以实现从室温到-50℃低温环境的控制,具备压力膨胀成云雾模拟和微物理参数监测能力,解决了我国缺乏气溶胶粒子和暖云催化剂室内实验装备的状况,对验证暖云催化剂核化性能和提高暖云人工增雨科技水平有重要价值。  相似文献

利用ISCCP最新的D2云气候资料集和MODIS云的资料,给出中国地区云的光学厚度和云滴有效半径的分布特征;分别对季节平均和年平均时间序列进行线性趋势分析,并进行了显著性检验。结果表明:夏季云的光学厚度和有效半径的变化趋势最显著。结合云量变化情况,可发现云滴有效半径的变化对云光学厚度的影响可能在夏季最大,也就是说,气溶胶的间接气候效应可能在夏季最强;云量、云光学厚度和云滴有效半径的变化也表明长江以南地区和青藏高原地区可能是气溶胶间接气候效应比较显著的地区。中国地区冰云光学厚度与有效直径的相关具有很强的区域特征,说明冰云的微物理机制比水云更复杂。  相似文献

Based on ground-based Atmospheric Emitted Radiance Interferometer (AERI) observations in Shouxian, Anhui province, China, the authors retrieve the cloud base height (CBH) and effective cloud emissivity by using the minimum root-mean-square difference method. This method was originally developed for satellite remote sensing. The high-temporal-resolution retrieval results can depict the trivial variations of the zenith clouds continu-ously. The retrieval results are evaluated by comparing them with observations by the cloud radar. The comparison shows that the retrieval bias is smaller for the middle and low cloud, especially for the opaque cloud. When two layers of clouds exist, the retrieval results reflect the weighting radiative contribution of the multi-layer cloud. The retrieval accuracy is affected by uncertainties of the AERI radiances and sounding profiles, in which the role of uncertainty in the temperature profile is dominant.  相似文献

庐山地区层状云和对流云降水特征对比分析   总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4  
根据Parsivel激光雨滴谱仪在庐山高海拔观测场获取的2011年降水资料,结合宏观特征量、雨滴谱资料和雷达图像资料,将降水划分为对流云降水和层状云降水,选取了12次典型降水过程。对两类云降水的6种特征直径、各档雨滴对降水参量的贡献、降水微物理参量的演变等进行了分析,并利用M-P分布和Gamma分布对两类云降水雨滴谱进行拟合,对拟合参数以及拟合效果进行了分析。结果表明:两类云降水微物理特征有着本质的区别,层状云降水谱宽相对较窄,参量随时间变化比较平缓,直径不超过1 mm的小滴对降水贡献最大;对流云降水谱宽相对较宽,出现了直径接近10 mm的大滴,参量起伏较大,对数密度贡献很小的大滴对雨强、含水量贡献却比较大。从拟合效果检验来看,层状云降水拟合时的M-P曲线在大部分区段比Gamma曲线更接近实测雨滴谱曲线;对流云降水拟合时的Gamma分布曲线与实际雨滴谱分布曲线整体吻合程度较高。M-P分布和Gamma分布两种拟合方法都适用于层状云降水,对流云降水雨滴谱拟合时Gamma拟合效果优于M-P拟合效果。  相似文献
