This article presents a spatial cognition analysis technique for automated urban building clustering based on urban morphology and Gestalt theory. The proximity graph is selected to present the urban mrphology. The proximity graph considers the local adjacency among buildings, providing a large degree of freedom in object displacement and aggregation. Then, three principles of Gestalt theories, proximity, similarity, and common directions, are considered to extract potential Gestalt building clusters. Next, the Gestalt features are further characterized with seven indicators, that is, area difference, height difference, similarity difference, orientation difference, linear arrangement difference, interval difference, and oblique degree of arrangement. A support vector machine (SVM)-based approach is employed to extract the Gestalt building clusters. This approach transforms the Gestalt cluster extraction into a supervised discrimination process. The method presents a generalized approach for clustering buildings of a given street block into groups, while maintaining the spatial pattern and adjacency of buildings during the displacement operation. In applications of urban building generalization and three-dimensional (3D) urban panoramic-like view, the method presented in this article adequately preserves the spatial patterns, distributions, and arrangements of urban buildings. Moreover, the final 3D panoramic-like views ensure the accurate appearance of important features and landscapes.  相似文献

Recently, the Chinese government raised an urban planning policy which suggests communities open their private roads for public transport and establish street networks with high spatial density in cities. In this context, the purpose of this study is to analyze the potential changes to street network accessibility using GIS techniques and to provide spatial information that may influence the decision making of urban managers. In addition to the existing street network data in the case study city, Shenzhen, intra-community roads are extracted from building footprints in GIS topographic database and used to construct a potential street network with respect to the community opening policy. An automatic GIS-based method is proposed here to analyze the location advantage information in the simulated urban environment, by combining Delaunay triangulation model and graph theory concepts. Specifically, we establish a two-step framework based on the spatial relationships between roads and buildings. Firstly, intra-community roads between neighboring building footprints are generated using a Delaunay triangulation skeleton model, and with the existing inter-community roads they form the simulated network. Secondly, street centrality indices of the current and simulated networks are compared in terms of closeness, betweenness and straightness. Results indicate that after applying the policy the global accessibility in the city would be increased at some places and decreased at others, and places' directness among others would be generally improved. In addition, the skeleton of central routes for through traffic would not change much. The presented method can also be applied to other cities.  相似文献

In map generalization, the displacement operation attempts to resolve proximity conflicts to guarantee map legibility. Owing to the limited representation space, conflicts may occur between both the same and different features under different contexts. A successful displacement should settle multiple conflicts, suppress the generation of secondary conflicts after moving some objects, and preserve the distribution patterns. The effect of displacement can be understood as a force that pushes related objects away with properties of propagation and distance decay. This study borrows the idea of vector fields from physics discipline and establishes a vector field model to handle the displacement of multiple conflicts in building generalization. A scalar field is first constructed based on a Delaunay triangulation skeleton to partition the buildings being examined (e.g., a street block). Then, we build a vector field to conduct displacement measurements through the detection of conflicts from multiple sources. The direction and magnitude of the displacement force are computed based on an iso-line model of vector field. The experiment shows that this global method can settle multiple conflicts and preserve the spatial relations and important building patterns.  相似文献

Voronoi tessellation, and its dual the Delaunay triangulation, provide a cohesive framework for the study and interpretation of phenomena of geographical space in two and three dimensions. The planar and spherical solutions introduce errors in the positional accuracy of both Voronoi vertices and Voronoi edges due to errors in distance computations and the path connecting two locations with planar lines or great circle arcs instead of geodesics. For most geospatial applications the introduction of the above errors is insignificant or tolerable. However, for applications where the accuracy is of utmost importance, the ellipsoidal model of the Earth must be used. Characteristically, the introduction of any positional error in the delimitation of maritime zones and boundaries results in increased maritime space for one state at the expense of another. This is a situation that may, among others, have a serious impact on the financial activities and the relations of the states concerned. In the context of previous work on maritime delimitation we show that the Voronoi diagram constitutes the ideal solution for the development of an automated methodology addressing the problem in its entirety. Due to lack of a vector methodology for the generation of Voronoi diagram on the ellipsoid, the aforementioned solution was constrained by the accuracy of existing approaches. In order to fill this gap, in this paper we deal with the inherent attributes of the ellipsoidal model of the Earth, e.g. the fact that geodesics are open lines, and we elaborate on a methodology for the generation of the Voronoi diagram on the ellipsoid for a set of points in vector format. The resulting Voronoi diagram consists of vertices with positional accuracy that is only bounded by the user needs and edges that are comprised of geodesics densified with vertices equidistant to their generators. Finally, we present the implementation of the proposed algorithm in the Python programming language and the results of two case studies, one on the formation of closest service areas and one on maritime boundaries delimitation, with the positional accuracy set to 1 cm.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

The aim of this article is to describe a convenient but robust method for defining neighbourhood relations among buildings based on ordinary Delaunay diagrams (ODDs) and area Delaunay diagrams (ADDs). ODDs and ADDs are defined as a set of edges connecting the generators of adjacent ordinary Voronoi cells (points representing centroids of building polygons) and a set of edges connecting two centroids of building polygons, which are the generators of adjacent area Voronoi cells, respectively. Although ADDs are more robust than ODDs, computation time of ODDs is shorter than that of ADDs (the order of their computation time complexity is O(nlogn)). If ODDs can approximate ADDs with a certain degree of accuracy, the former can be used as an alternative. Therefore, we computed the ratio of the number of ADD edges to that of ODD edges overlapping ADDs at building and regional scales. The results indicate that: (1) for approximately 60% of all buildings, ODDs can exactly overlap ADDs with extra ODD edges; (2) at a regional scale, ODDs can overlap approximately 90% of ADDs with 10% extra ODD edges; and (3) focusing on judging errors, although ADDs are more accurate than ODDs, the difference is only approximately 1%.  相似文献

In this paper, we propose a new graphics processing unit (GPU) method able to compute the 2D constrained Delaunay triangulation (CDT) of a planar straight-line graph consisting of points and segments. All existing methods compute the Delaunay triangulation of the given point set, insert all the segments, and then finally transform the resulting triangulation into the CDT. To the contrary, our novel approach simultaneously inserts points and segments into the triangulation, taking special care to avoid conflicts during retriangulations due to concurrent insertion of points or concurrent edge flips. Our implementation using the Compute Unified Device Architecture programming model on NVIDIA GPUs improves, in terms of running time, the best known GPU-based approach to the CDT problem.  相似文献

民国时期广州市建成区主体建筑立体形态的恢复及其特征   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
基于1928年1﹕10 000的地形图,解译土地利用类型,确定建成区边界与建筑用地的空间范围。将建筑用地分为单体建筑、线状道路两侧的骑楼和面状同类建筑区3类。根据史料与现场调查,分别为点、线、面3类建筑的高度赋值,恢复不考虑海拔的建成区主体建筑立体形态。基于所建模型,从平面形态、平均高度、空间格局、宽高比、高度轴、天际线以及形态组合几方面对民国时期建成区立体形态特征进行分析归纳,得出如下结论:1)民国时期广州城市沿珠江发展使得城区轮廓呈狭长的带状;2)城市平均高度仅为6.07 m,建筑物普遍低矮;3)建筑物在平面上为多级的棋盘网组合,而骑楼街构成的宽浅网格,成为当时空间尺度最大的建筑单元组合形态;4)道路宽度与两侧建筑物高度形成的宽高比大,城市具有较好的通透性;5)沿江西路与当时的城市中轴线中山纪念堂―市府合署大楼构成了倒“T”型城市空间高度轴,并在单体建筑高度空间分布与天际线的变化上得到很好的反映;6)城市立体形态主要由盆地、格网、谷地、台地等4种宽浅的单元组成。立体形态深层次上反映了当时生产力技术条件下政府与市场力量的综合作用,以及城市功能区分化在立体形态上的表现,从而也成为该时期华南地区依山傍水城市立体形态的重要标志。  相似文献

不规则三角网(TIN)可以逼真的模拟地形表面,因此被广泛应用于地学领域。Delaunay三角剖分算法是构建TIN网的最优算法,该文对传统Delaunay三角网构建算法进行分析,提出了一种针对大规模离散数据点生成TIN的高效合成算法。该算法首先根据离散点的分布位置和密度对其进行四叉树区域划分;然后以每个叶子节点的边界四边形为凸包,采用逐点插入法构建三角网;最后采用顶点合并法自底向上合并具有相同父节点的4个子节点,生成Delaunay三角网。实验结果表明,该算法时间复杂度较低,有效提高了TIN网的构建效率。  相似文献

在对Converse断裂点模型进行改进的基础上,通过构建评价指标体系和计算城镇中心性强度,对天水市城镇体系等级结构进行了划分;通过运用加权Voronoi图,划分了城镇影响范围和城镇经济区。研究表明:1)天水市城镇体系等级分化非常明显,可按中心性值的大小分为3个等级,其中一级城镇主要为天水各县区政府所在地;2)基于加权Voronoi图的城镇经济区打破了行政区划界线,更符合区域"城镇-腹地"相互联系和作用的实际;3)城镇影响空间既受城镇综合实力和区位交通条件的影响,也与地形、资源分布以及历史文化等因素密切相关。在天水市东部和南部,城镇空间影响范围明显大于中部和北部地区。  相似文献

提出一种将网络约束下的Voronoi和空间聚类相结合的方法,通过构造局部的聚类分析方法对网络边进行加权,根据实际的点过程性质可以把权重定义为加权或者乘权,进行标准化后与道路段本身长度融合进行计算,依此生成网络Voronoi图,以期理解城市街道的空间特性。以武汉市江汉区为例,对城市网格管理系统产生的城市事件进行算法验证,结果表明,该方法提供了一种灵活的网络约束下的服务区域划分工具,可用于基于网络空间点过程影响下的服务区划分,也可用于系统性地定量刻画城市管理的动态特性。  相似文献

Detailed and precise information on urban building patterns is essential for urban design, landscape evaluation, social analyses and urban environmental studies. Although a broad range of studies on the extraction of urban building patterns has been conducted, few studies simultaneously considered the spatial proximity relations and morphological properties at a building-unit level. In this study, we present a simple and novel graph-theoretic approach, Extended Minimum Spanning Tree (EMST), to describe and characterize local building patterns at building-unit level for large urban areas. Building objects with abundant two-dimensional and three-dimensional building characteristics are first delineated and derived from building footprint data and high-resolution Light Detection and Ranging data. Then, we propose the EMST approach to represent and describe both the spatial proximity relations and building characteristics. Furthermore, the EMST groups the building objects into different locally connected subsets by applying the Gestalt theory-based graph partition method. Based on the graph partition results, our EMST method then assesses the characteristics of each building to discover local patterns by employing the spatial autocorrelation analysis and homogeneity index. We apply the proposed method to the Staten Island in New York City and successfully extracted and differentiated various local building patterns in the study area. The results demonstrate that the EMST is an effective data structure for understanding local building patterns from both geographic and perceptual perspectives. Our method holds great potential for identifying local urban patterns and provides comprehensive and essential information for urban planning and management.  相似文献

提出了一种基于互联网信息的空间竞争域划分方法。在Voronoi图的模型中尝试以网络平台数据作加权因子,使空间竞争域体现互联网中的消费者偏好差异,通过对加权Voronoi图的类型划分和地理学解释,描述竞争环境的空间特征。以北京市健身俱乐部为例,选择大众点评网、爱帮等网络平台信息作为权重因子,构建样本网点的传统Voronoi、互联网信息加权Voronoi计算模型并对比边界线、面积等空间特征分析的结果表明:互联网信息对城市商业游憩网点的空间竞争力产生着不同的影响强度,对Voronoi图空间特征的分类和地理解释可以指示商业网点跨越距离阻碍的消费吸引力及竞争差异,弥补传统加权方法未考虑消费者偏好和购物习惯而对竞争域划分表达不足的缺点。  相似文献

Over the last two decades, the Delaunay triangulation has been the only choice for most geographical information system (GIS) users and researchers to build triangulated irregular networks (TINs). The classical Delaunay triangulation for creating TINs only considers the 2D distribution of data points. Recent research efforts have been devoted to generating data-dependent triangulation which incorporate information on both distribution and values of input data in the triangulation process. This paper compares the traditional Delaunay triangulations with several variant data-dependent triangulations based on Lawson's local optimization procedure (LOP). Two USGS digital elevation models (DEMs) are used in the comparison. It is clear from the experiments that the quality of TINs not only depends on the vertex placement but also on the vertex connection. Traditonal two step processes for TIN construction, which separate point selection from the triangulation, generate far worse results than the methods which iteratively select points during the triangulation process. A pure data-dependent triangulation contains a large amount of slivers and steep triangles, which greatly affect the quality of TINs constructed. Among the triangulation methods tested, the classical Delaunay triangulation is still the most successful technique for constructing TINs for approximating natural terrain surfaces.  相似文献

明确且合理的城市经济区和空间组织是区域内各城市实现功能整合的前提,也是实现城乡统筹、有序协调发展的基础。通过因子分析方法来计算城市的中心性指数,在GIS软件的支持下,利用Voronoi图对地理空间进行分割,逐层递归,确定不同等级的中心城市,并构建城市断裂点理论与倍增加权Voronoi图相融合的GIS空间分析方法,划分城市经济影响范围。结果表明:第一,采用简单Voronoi的递归算法,依据城市的中心性指数,选出不同等级的中心城镇,很好地体现了中心职能在地域空间上的分布;第二,基于城市断裂点理论的倍增加权Voronoi图,不仅考虑了城市的实力,而且考虑了城市之间的空间邻近关系,并且很好地反映城市之间的空间竞争关系。第三,这种技术方法结合自然地理条件和行政区划等人文要素的定性分析,具有一定的科学性和现实意义。本文结合新疆独特的地理环境,探讨了新疆各级中心城镇和影响范围,旨在运用新技术和定量化的方法更科学地划分城市经济区,结合现有的城镇现状和发展战略,为未来新疆的城市与区域规划科学决策提供参考。  相似文献

本研究从行为地理学的视角,以空间稳定性假设为出发点,提出辨识生活空间单元的新方法。借鉴行为地理学关于微观个体的数据采集方法,在北京市清河永泰居住区随机选择了100 位居民为对象,对其日常活动空间的驻点信息进行了调查。通过对居住地和驻点联系的K-Means 空间聚类分析,对生活空间单元的范围进行了划分。分析表明:①属于相同生活空间单元的居民日常出行范围和频率比较接近;②小区建成年代、规划设计、房价等空间环境因素,对生活空间单元的形成具有显著影响;③共用的商业设施和交通服务设施是影响生活空间划分的主要因素。利用这一方法得出的生活空间范围可应用到地区环境性能评价、城市空间管制等多个研究领域。  相似文献

The explosive growth of so‐called marginal settlements in Latin America's cities has received considerable academic attention in past decades. The inability of the state to adequately provide affordable housing for a rapidly growing urban population has meant that these neighbourhoods relied on community mobilization to achieve common objectives of basic infrastructure and legal recognition. With increasing consolidation and less need for coordinated action, many local organizations lost their rationale. Fear of crime and violence, a major concern in Latin American metropolises, is inscribed on the urban landscape by a growing number of gated and fortified residential enclaves for the better‐off. Marginal neighbourhoods, however, experience a ‘security gap’ as they receive insufficient police protection and lack the financial resources to employ private guards. In many cases, the real or perceived insecurities of inner‐city life have prompted organized bottom‐up, mostly informal and sometimes vigilante, responses. Drawing on research on the rise of informal security‐related interventions in the neighbourhoods of Lima Metropolitana, Peru, this paper explores the rationales underlying the different approaches and adoptions, including the involvement of the main actors, community associations and other local interest groups.  相似文献
