Bearing capacity of strip foundation on geogrid-reinforced sand   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Results of small-scale laboratory model tests to determine the ultimate bearing capacity of a strip foundation supported by sand with multiple layers of geogrid reinforcement are presented. Tests were conducted with only one type of geogrid and a sand compacted to one relative density. The embedment ratio of the foundation was varied from zero to 0.6. It is found that, for the given reinforcement-depth ratio, the bearing capacity ratio with respect to ultimate load increases with embedment. The relationship between the bearing capacity ratio at ultimate load and at limited levels of settlement (less than or equal to 5% of foundation width) is also presented. The bearing capacity ratio at limited levels of settlement is smaller than the value at ultimate load.  相似文献

建立了横-竖立体加筋(H-V筋)地基的有限元模型,通过分析地基中的竖向应力分布、水平向位移分布以及筋-土界面相互作用,发现横-竖立体加筋地基中的竖向应力在筋材下方出现扩散和重分布,并逐渐向土体下部传递,使得土体中整体的应力分布更加均匀;同时,横-竖筋材中的竖筋类似于一个侧壁,其提供的垂直侧向力约束了介于竖筋间的土体,限制了土体的侧向水平位移,使得地基中筋材上部土体的侧向水平位移变小。基于有限元模拟对横-竖立体加筋地基加固机制的认识,将横-竖立体筋视为作用在地基上的一维弹性地基梁,通过弹性地基梁理论,根据弗拉曼解推导求解了横-竖立体加筋地基中任意一点竖向附加应力的计算表达式。将模型计算结果与有限元模拟所得结果进行对比发现两者吻合良好。  相似文献

为了研究土工格栅加筋砂土地基在动力荷载作用下的受力变形特性,利用自行设计的300 cm×160 cm×200 cm(长×宽×高)大比例地基模型试验装置,分别针对纯砂地基、土工格栅加筋地基进行了静动荷载破坏试验。分析地基承载力及基础沉降、地基土压力、动力加速度响应、土工格栅应变等参数变化规律,揭示了动力荷载作用下加筋砂土地基的承载力和变形特征,并对比分析静、动荷载对加筋地基承载性能的影响。试验结果表明,与纯砂地基相比,格栅单层加筋地基的承载力提高1.12倍,地基基础中轴线处沉降量减少24%,加筋土体的抗变形能力得到很大提高;加筋作用改变了地基的破坏模式,动载作用下纯砂地基为冲剪破坏而加筋地基为整体剪切破坏;筋材的存在对地基土压力及加速度峰值分别有明显的扩散作用和衰减作用,可有效降低在动力载荷下筋土的瞬态变形。  相似文献

A method has been proposed to obtain the pressure–settlement characteristics of rectangular footings resting on reinforced sand based on constitutive laws of soils. The confining effect of the reinforcement provided in the soil at different layers has been incorporated in the analysis by considering the equivalent stresses generated due to friction at the soil– reinforcement interface. The prerequisite of the method is the value of ultimate bearing capacity, which can be obtained from the approaches already available in literature. The value of settlement may be read directly from pressure–settlement curves for the given pressure intensity. Therefore, the rectangular footing resting on reinforced sand can be proportioned satisfying shear failure and settlement criteria.  相似文献

采用缩尺模型试验研究了无黏结预应力加筋土技术中水平土压力的大小及分布对预应力加筋体力学性能的影响。试验采用钢砂模拟中砂,解决了缩尺模型相似比的问题。完成了两个工况的试验,一个普通加筋土工况,一个具有单根无黏结预应力筋的工况。对比分析表明:对无黏结预应力筋施加预拉力前加筋体的顶部沉降小于普通加筋体的顶部沉降,施加预拉力后却增加了顶部沉降,但在堆载后具有单根无黏结预应力筋的加筋体的竖向变形更小;随着预拉力的增加,与无黏结预应力筋相邻的玻纤格栅应变相应减小,在距离墙面板较近位置测点玻纤格栅的应变减小得尤为明显,而底部玻纤格栅应变逐渐增加,在距离墙面板较近位置测点增加得较为明显;在堆载过程中,无黏结预应力筋的预拉力保持不变,堆载完成后略有增加。  相似文献

复合加筋排水褥垫是针对沿海缺砂地区开发的,具有水平排水与加筋作用的一项新型专利技术,可取代软基加固中的排水砂垫层。采用二维平面应变Biot固结有限元模型对复合加筋排水褥垫软土路堤进行了数值模拟,结果表明复合加筋排水褥垫可以满足水平排水要求,另外与传统的水平排水砂垫层相比,该技术可降低地基附加正应力和超孔隙水压力,有效抑制路基侧向变形的发展,减小路基沉降与不均匀沉降,提高路基稳定性,加筋效果显著。  相似文献

针对场地内夹杂岸堤、塘埂和人行道路网的深厚海相软土地基处理,提出塑料排水板和袋装砂井联合堆载预压加固方法,并通过现场试验研究该类地基在路堤填筑及堆载预压过程中的地表及深层沉降特性、超孔隙水压力消散机制和地基水平位移规律等工作性状。结果表明,采用该方法处理深厚海相软土地基具有良好的加固效果,地基沉降大部分在填筑期和预压期间发生,有效降低了场地的工后沉降和施工工期,可为沿海深厚复杂海相软土地基加固处理提供参考;塑料排水板和袋装砂井联合堆载预压处理地基的沉降-时间曲线呈多级式发展,袋装砂井处理部位的沉降量小于塑料排水板处;软基上部土体的排水效果明显优于中、下部土体,排水板处理区域的超孔隙水压力大于砂井处理区域;软基顶部土体向堆载区域移动,地表3 m以下的软土层被挤向堆载处理区域外。  相似文献

The paper presents the performance of a square footing with a structural skirt resting on sand and subjected to a vertical load through an experimental study. A series of tests were conducted in a model test tank to evaluate the performance in terms of improvement in bearing capacity and reduction in settlement of a square footing with and without a structural skirt. The results of the study reveal that this type of reinforcement increases the bearing capacity, reduces the settlement and modifies the load settlement behaviour of the footing. The various factors influencing the bearing capacity improvements and settlement reduction using a structural skirt are identified. Skirt factors are proposed which can be introduced into the general ultimate bearing capacity equation for a square footing resting on sand. The predictions made through the modified equation are in reasonable agreement with the experimental results. The bearing capacity of square footing is increased in the range of 11.2 to 70%. The improvement in bearing capacity decreases with the increase in base roughness of the footing. Further, an equation for a settlement reduction factor is proposed which can be used to calculate the settlement of the square footing with structural skirt resting on sand. The settlement reduction factor (SRF, defined as the ratio of settlement of footing with structural skirt to the settlement of footing without structural skirt at a given load) was in the range 0.11 to 1.0 depending on applied load and skirt depth ratio with the use of a structural skirt. The results further reveal that for a given depth of the skirt, the settlement reduction factor decreases with the increase in applied load. The improvement in the bearing capacity and reduction in settlement of a square footing with a structural skirt resting on sand are dependent on the geometrical and structural properties of the skirt, footing, sand characteristics and interface conditions of the sand–skirt–footing system.  相似文献

Geogrid-reinforced railroad bed settlement due to cyclic load   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Results of large-scale laboratory model tests conducted to determine the permanent settlement due to cyclic load of the railroad bed for a proposed high-speed train route extending from Seoul to Pusan in South Korea are reported. The possibility of using geogrid layers as reinforcement to reduce settlement of the subbase layer was investigated. Based on the present model test results, it appears that practically all permanent settlement due to cyclic load is completed after application of 105 cycles of load. The most beneficial effect of reinforcement is derived when one layer of geotextile and one layer of geogrid are placed at the interface of the subgrade soil and subbase course.  相似文献

Summary Laboratory model test results for permanent settlement of a shallow square foundation supported by geogrid-reinforced sand and subjected to cyclic loading are presented. During the application of the cyclic load, the foundation was subjected to a sustained static load. Tests were conducted with only one type of geogrid and at one relative density of compaction of sand. Based on the model test results, the nature of variation of the permanent settlement of the foundation with the intensity of the static loading and the amplitude of the cyclic load intensity are presented in a non-dimensional form.  相似文献

对盾构出洞口涌水涌砂灾害问题作了分析。利用Midas-GTS软件,建立了盾构出洞施工的有限元模型。考虑盾构出洞施工的渗流-应力耦合效应,研究了盾构工作井外加固土体前方高水位工况下,地下水绕加固土体下卧土层的渗流规律以及加固土体前方原状土的沉降规律。研究结果表明,在假定井外加固土体完全隔水情况下,洞门涌水涌砂灾害的发生与否受到土体加固长度、井外地下水等因素影响;土体加固长度的增加对工程安全有利,但成本较高;地下水位的降低能有效减小盾构出洞洞门涌水灾害的发生,需综合考虑工程安全性、经济性和工期等来确定合理的施工参数。  相似文献

The ultimate bearing capacity of strip footings resting on subsoil consisting of a strong sand layer (reinforced/unreinforced) overlying a low bearing capacity sand deposit has been investigated. Three principal problems were analysed based on results obtained from the model tests as follows: (1) the effect of stratified subsoil on the foundations bearing capacity; (2) the effect of reinforcing the top layer with horizontal layers of geogrid reinforcement on the bearing capacity; (3) effect of reinforcing stratified subsoil (reinforced and unreinforced) on the settlement of the foundation. It has been observed that reinforcing the subsoil after replacing the top layer of soil with a well-graded soil is beneficial as the mobilization of soil-reinforcement frictional resistance will increase.  相似文献

纤维增强聚合物(FRP)具有耐腐蚀、耐水、耐高温、高强度、高弹性模量、质量轻等优点,将其用作加筋材料不仅能显著提高加筋地基的加筋效果,还能有效解决传统加筋材料的耐久性问题。分别对纯砂和5种水平加筋方式进行了加筋地基模型试验,测试了各级荷载下的地基沉降、FRP的应变及土压力数值,并初步探讨了FRP加筋的作用机制。试验结果表明,加筋能显著提高地基承载力和减小地基沉降,特别是双层水平加筋方式的加筋效果更加明显,而锚固件的设置对加筋效果的影响并不大,水平FRP筋材主要起到了土压力扩散作用。  相似文献

通过室内小比例模型试验,模拟高速公路过渡段施工中经常采用的土工格栅加筋路基,研究土工格栅加筋结构能否有效控制高速公路过渡段的不均匀沉降。试验共设计了不铺设土工格栅、铺设1层土工格栅在路基上、中、下位置、铺设2层土工格栅在路基上中、中下、上下位置铺设,以及铺设3层土工格栅上中下位置,共8种工况,分析各种土工格栅加筋方案中路基的不均匀沉降和土工格栅的受力特性。试验结果表明,土工格栅加筋路基可明显调节过渡段的不均匀沉降,在路基的中部和上部铺设2层土工格栅的加筋效果最佳。  相似文献

In the present study, a mechanical model has been developed to study the behavior of multilayer geosynthetic-reinforced granular fill over stone column-reinforced soft soil. The granular fill and geosynthetic reinforcement layers have been idealized by Pasternak shear layer and rough elastic membranes, respectively. The Kelvin–Voight model has been used to represent the time-dependent behavior of saturated soft soil. The stone columns are idealized by stiffer springs and assumed to be linearly elastic. The nonlinear behavior of the soft soil and granular fill is considered. The effect of consolidation of soft soil due to inclusion of the stone columns on settlement response has also been included in the model. Plane strain conditions are considered for the loading and reinforced foundation soil system. An iterative finite difference scheme is applied for obtaining the solution and results are presented in nondimensional form. It has been observed that if the soft soil is improved with stone columns, the multilayer reinforcement system is less effective as compared to single layer reinforcement to reduce the total settlement as there is considerable reduction in the total settlement due to stone column itself. Multilayer reinforcement system is effective for reducing the total settlement when stone columns are not used. However, multilayer reinforcement system is effective to transfer the stress from soil to stone column. The differential settlement is also slightly reduced due to application of multiple geosynthetic layers as compared to the single layer reinforcement system.  相似文献

结合软基沉降机理,提出用Weibull模型预测软基沉降全过程。该预测模型参数意义较为明确,可以反映加载速度等因素的影响,克服了其它两种成长模型反弯点处沉降值与最终沉降相对不变的缺点。在利用其它模型预测时,只有初步判断实测样本反弯点的位置才能较科学的选择有效样本和相应模型进行预测。Weibull模型可以充分利用沉降观测样本,具有广泛的适应性,指数模型是它的一种退化形式。它不但可以预测线性加载的软基沉降,而且可以预测一次加载或近似一次加载的软基沉降。工程实例的实测和计算比较说明该模型是可靠的。  相似文献

考虑了桩的加筋与遮帘效应,通过剪切位移法依据力与位移的协调条件得出桩的柔度系数。在此基础上建立土的成层性模型,根据桩顶与桩底的物理关系推导了桩顶沉降与荷载关系的解析解。通过工程算例进行比较,结果表明, 以土层状模型建立的群桩沉降计算方法是可行的。分析表明, 加固区土层不同分布对桩沉降有所影响,浅部土模量的提高有利于减小沉降。  相似文献

地震液化常给人们带来巨大损失,而剪切振动和循环荷载作用下的动力学效应常被认为是地震液化的主要原因,人们对剪切荷载作用下饱和砂土的液化问题进行了较多的研究,而对循环荷载作用下砂土液化的动力学效应研究较少。胶新铁路在DK39+000开始为高地震烈度区,DK283+550~DK283+770分布有地震可液化层,工程修建后列车动荷载的影响将会有诱发砂土液化的可能性。为了研究通车前自然沉降特征和通车后循环荷载作用下的路基沉降变形规律,本文在具体分析了砂土液化的概念和准则判别的基础上,重点分析了砂土液化区路基沉降特征,包括测试断面竖向分层沉降变形特征分析和路基水平位移特征分析。最后在试验的基础上,从理论上给出了循环荷载下砂土的本构关系。  相似文献

天津市某主塔楼桩基选用后压浆超长钻孔灌注桩,为了掌握超长后压浆钻孔灌注桩在该地层的工程特性,共设计了2组(共8根)试桩进行单桩竖向抗压静载试验。试桩中安装了振弦式钢筋计和分层沉降管以反映桩侧摩阻力和桩身分层沉降状态。对试验数据进行对比分析和计算结果表明,桩侧注浆可以明显提高超长桩的侧摩阻力;采用预压加载可以增强超长桩的弹性,减少桩顶的沉降;卸荷稳定后试桩具有桩侧阻力,桩身上段所受阻力为负摩阻力,下段为正摩阻力,同时具有的桩身轴力使试桩产生一定的压缩,其压缩量为残余变形量的重要组成部分  相似文献
