Qualitative behaviour of the trajectories of test bodies is investigated in the five-dimensional gravitation theory for the spherically-symmetric solution. The Binnet formula is obtained for the trajectory. The region of the existence of circular trajectories as well as the regions of their stability are specially investigated using the method of numerical calculations. The values of the free parameters in the five-dimensional gravitation theory are estimated for the solar system.  相似文献

The previously studied 2-post-Newtonian approximation of the gravitational field of a nonstationary spherically symmetric star in flat space-time theory of gravitation is applied to the motion of a test particle in the orbit of the star. The orbit is different from the one of Einstein's general theory of relativity. A general formula for the deviation of the orbit from a circle is given. In the special case of a radially oscillating star, being homogeneous to Newtonian accuracy, the orbit of the test particle also oscillates radially with small amplitude about a fixed orbit (circle).  相似文献

Static and spherically-symmetric solutions of the field equations in the bimetric theory of gravitation are obtained for isotropic and anisotropic distributions of matter when the physical metric admits a one-parameter group of conformal motions. The solutions agree with Einstein's general relativity for physical systems comparable to the size of the Universe, such as the solar system.  相似文献

In this paper we have presented a procedure to obtain exact analytical solutions of field equations for spherically symmetric self-gravitating distribution of anisotropic matter in bimetric theory of gravitation. The solution agrees with the Einstein's general relativity for a physical system compared to the size of universe such as the solar system. The post-Newtonian approximation of the gravitational field of a perfect fluid for a previously stated theory of gravitation in flat space-time is studied. The conservation laws of energy-momentum and angular-momentum are derived and the equivalence of the conservation law of energy-momentum and the equations of motion is shown to the studied accuracy. The equations of motion are stated. All the results of the post-Newtonian approximation of the gravitation theory in flat space-time and of the general theory of relativity, as considered by Will in his famous book, agree to the studied accuracy.  相似文献

In the framework of TREDERS ' tetrad theory of gravitation the interaction of pole-particles is considered in post-NEWTON ian approximation. The perihelion shift for the two-body problem is calculated for different matter-field-couplings. In general it depends not only from the sum of the masses but also from the reduced mass. In the framework of Rastall's conservative program for the construction of gravitation theory we present a variant of modified classical gravitation theory based on Einstein's energy-mass equivalence principle. We pursue further the special-relativistic arguments and obtain a theory for the static spherically-symmetric gravitation field that is based only on the well-established physical principles and accounts for all experimental tests known in gravitation. Some astrophysical consequences of the modified classical gravitation theory (e.g., the non-existence of black holes, the creation of real particles in a strong gravitation field) are also discussed.  相似文献

Explicit vacuum field equations in the general scalar-tensor theory of gravitation proposed by Nordtvedt are obtained with the aid of the most general conformally flat spherically-symmetric static space-time. It is shown that the most general conformally flat spherically-symmetric static solution of Nordtvedt-Barker vacuum field equations is simply the empty flat space-time of general relativity.  相似文献

Static and spherical symmetric solutions of the field equations in the bimetric general theory of gravitation are obtained for perfect and anisotropic charged fluids under the assumption that the physical metric admits a one-parameter group of conformal motion. All solutions are matched to the Reissner–Nordstrom metric and possess positive energy density larger than the stresses, everywhere within the sphere. The gravitation theory is considered in bimetric formulation with a Lagrangian of the most common type and quadratic with respect to the derivativesg ik/l of the metric tensor. Restrictions on the dimensionless parameters of the theory are found, basing on the comparison with the Newtonian theory and the analysis of corresponding observational data in the vicinity of the solar system. A new mechanism is proposed for stabilization of the scalar dilaton field within the framework of lowenergy string gravitation with loop corrections to the dilaton coupling functions. It is based on the assumption that the loop corrections generate a kinetic dilaton function, which is singular for some finite value of the dilaton field. For a nongravitational source of the barotropic type, the system of equations describing the evolution of homogeneous and isotropic cosmological models is represented in the form of a thirdorder, autonomous, dynamical system. The behavior of the general solution in the vicinity of singularities of the dilaton coupling function is investigated by methods of the qualitative theory of dynamical systems. It is shown that there is a class of solutions, different from solutions of the general theory of relativity, with a constant dilaton. The conditions under which these solutions are an attractor for a general solution with a variable dilaton are determined.
