大气GPS掩星观测可获得全球的大气气象参量剖面信息.本文阐述了地球大气GPS掩星观测反演原理,详细介绍了其几何光学近似反演方法和全谱反演方法,提出了将几何光学反演方法和全谱反演方法结合以形成可以处理多路径掩星数据的反演新方案.该方案和几何光学反演方法应用于GPS/MET和CHAMP大气掩星数据反演,成功地获得了大气参量剖面.结果表明,新反演方案是可行的、有效的GPS大气掩星反演方案.  相似文献

为了观测和研究土体内部的变形,人工合成透明土和图像光学技术作为新兴的试验技术成为岩土力学研究的有力手段。根据一系列共振柱/扭剪仪试验测得的人工合成透明土的基本动力特性在某种程度上表现出了与天然土类似的变化规律,可以在动力试验中用来作为天然土的代替品。并介绍了用于土体变形测量的粒子图像测速技术的工作原理和基于神经元网络的像机校正方法。利用两个小型振动台试验,采用透明土和粒子测速技术研究了刚性块体和透明土的动力相互作用。试验表明粒子测速技术和透明土在土与结构动力相互作用中是一个有力的研究工具。  相似文献

The seismic behavior of unreinforced masonry buildings is typically characterized by premature brittle collapse mechanisms that can cause serious consequences for the protection of human lives and for the preservation of historical and cultural heritage. Structural health monitoring can be a powerful tool enabling a quick post-earthquake assessment of the structure's performance, but its applications are still scarce as a consequence of the severe limitations affecting off-the-shelf sensing technologies, in terms of local nature of the measurements, costs, as well as long-term behavior, installation, and maintenance. To overcome some of these limitations, the authors have recently proposed a new sensing technology, called “smart brick,” that is a durable clay brick doped with stainless steel microfibers, working as a smart strain sensor for masonry buildings. This paper presents the first full-scale application of smart bricks, used for detecting and localizing progressive earthquake-induced damage in an unreinforced masonry building subjected to shaking table tests. Smart bricks are employed to detect changes in load paths on masonry walls, comparing strain measurements acquired after each step of the seismic sequence with those referring to the undamaged structure. Experimental results are interpreted using a 3D finite element model built to reproduce the shaking table tests. Overall, the results demonstrate that the smart bricks can effectively reveal local permanent changes in structural conditions following a progressive damage, therefore being apt for earthquake-induced damage detection and localization.  相似文献

无线电掩星技术是一种探测地球大气的崭新途径.菲涅耳衍射反演是GPS掩星技术中基于物理光学原理的新的反演方法.文章研究了菲涅耳及几何光学方法的反演原理,利用GPS/MET数据分别反演得到了大气折射率及温度廓线.对比分析了菲涅耳衍射方法在10 Hz、25 Hz和50 Hz三个采样频率下不同的反演结果,通过与几何光学反演结果及相应探空数据的对比分析,表明菲涅耳衍射反演得到的结果在对流层,特别是水汽含量丰富的区域中更为准确可靠.  相似文献

Groundwater remediation technologies are designed, installed, and operated based on the conceptual models of contaminant hydrogeology that are accepted at that time. However, conceptual models of remediation can change as new research, new technologies, and new performance data become available. Over the past few years, results from multiple-site remediation performance studies have shown that achieving drinking water standards (i.e., Maximum Contaminant Levels, MCLs) at contaminated groundwater sites is very difficult. Recent groundwater research has shown that the process of matrix diffusion is one key constraint. New developments, such as mass discharge, orders of magnitude (OoMs), and SMART objectives are now being discussed more frequently by the groundwater remediation community. In this paper, the authors provide their perspectives on the existing "reach MCLs" approach that has historically guided groundwater remediation projects, and advocate a new approach built around the concepts of OoMs and mass discharge.  相似文献

The article offers a new approach to the selection of a treatment plant, based on the optimization of biogeochemical matter flows. The existing treatment facilities of Bali are analyzed. The authors propose several process schemes for domestic wastewater treatment, depending on the technology of utilization of biogenic elements from the wastewater for agricultural production. Parallels are drawn between phenomena observed in optics and typical characteristics in exploration seismology. Considerations are also made in the context of major physical theories throughout the centuries. It is concluded that the one key similarity between optics and seismics is the transmission volume, which has 'fuzzy' characteristics. Distribution of energy in this volume determines the achievable resolution and might give an insight into spatial inhomogeneities in the subsurface.  相似文献

This study contributes a rigorous diagnostic assessment of state-of-the-art multiobjective evolutionary algorithms (MOEAs) and highlights key advances that the water resources field can exploit to better discover the critical tradeoffs constraining our systems. This study provides the most comprehensive diagnostic assessment of MOEAs for water resources to date, exploiting more than 100,000 MOEA runs and trillions of design evaluations. The diagnostic assessment measures the effectiveness, efficiency, reliability, and controllability of ten benchmark MOEAs for a representative suite of water resources applications addressing rainfall–runoff calibration, long-term groundwater monitoring (LTM), and risk-based water supply portfolio planning. The suite of problems encompasses a range of challenging problem properties including (1) many-objective formulations with four or more objectives, (2) multi-modality (or false optima), (3) nonlinearity, (4) discreteness, (5) severe constraints, (6) stochastic objectives, and (7) non-separability (also called epistasis). The applications are representative of the dominant problem classes that have shaped the history of MOEAs in water resources and that will be dominant foci in the future. Recommendations are given for the new algorithms that should serve as the benchmarks for innovations in the water resources literature. The future of MOEAs in water resources needs to emphasize self-adaptive search, new technologies for visualizing tradeoffs, and the next generation of computing technologies.  相似文献

中国地震地球物理观测网络的核心业务软件“十五”地震前兆数据管理系统已运行十多年,随着观测数据量的增长,数据库的读取和统计查询的性能逐渐降低。此外,管理系统存在SQL注入和跨站脚本攻击等漏洞的安全问题,系统架构难以满足业务发展的需求。中国地震台网中心基于分布式组件的大数据架构,使用消息中间件和时序数据库等技术对管理系统进行重构,将原来存储于Oracle数据库中的地球物理观测数据、基础信息、产品数据等按照各自特点在时序数据库中建表,并将历史数据和增量数据都迁移到新的时序数据库,显著提升了系统读写和统计性能、数据的安全性和可用性(多副本技术)。分布式和容器化等技术的引入,增强了系统的高可用性,并可通过横向扩展进一步增加系统的处理能力。  相似文献

The intrinsic vulnerability of masonry structures to seismic events makes structural health monitoring of the utmost importance for the conservation of the built heritage. The development of piezoresistive bricks, also termed smart bricks, is an innovative technology recently proposed by the authors for the monitoring of such structures. Smart bricks exhibit measurable variations in their electrical properties when subjected to external loads or, alternatively, strain self-sensing capabilities. Therefore, the deployment of a network of smart bricks into a masonry structure confers self-diagnostic properties to the host structure. In this light, this paper presents a theoretical investigation on the application of smart bricks to full-scale masonry structures for seismic assessment. This includes the study of the convenience of providing electrical isolation conditions to the sensors, as well as the effectiveness of smart bricks when installed into either new constructions or in pre-existing structures. Secondly, numerical results are presented on the seismic analysis of a three-dimensional masonry building equipped with a network of smart bricks. Finally, in order to map the strain field throughout the structure exploiting the outputs of a limited number of sensors, an interpolation-based strain reconstruction approach is proposed.  相似文献

Features of the new architecture of an automated system for acquisition, storage, and processing of seismic data are considered in detail. The system is based on SEISNET and SEISAN software. Specific technologies, software, and examples of the interconnection of system components are presented. The functionality of the system and the data life cycle are shown. We present a seismic Test Line, provided by Saudi Aramco for various research teams, to highlight a few major challenges in land data processing due to near‐surface anomalies. We discuss state‐of‐the‐art methods used to compensate for shallow distortions, including single‐layer, multilayer, plus/minus, refraction and tomostatics methods. They are a starting point for the new technologies presented in other papers, all dealing with the same challenging data described here. The difficulties on the Test Line are mostly due to the assumption of vertical raypaths, inherent in classical applications of near‐surface correction statics. Even the most detailed velocity/depth model presents difficulties, due to the compleX‐raypath. There is a need for methods which are based on more complex models andtheories.  相似文献
