沅江凹陷为第四纪洞庭盆地东部的一个次级凹陷。通过地表地质调查和钻孔资料,在沅江凹陷东缘北部鹿角地区第四纪构造、沉积及地貌特征研究基础上,探讨并提出其构造-沉积演化过程:早更新世早期洪湖-湘阴断裂和荣家湾断裂相继活动,断裂以西地区断陷沉降并沉积,以东地区则构造抬升而遭受风化剥蚀。早更新世末期凹陷区东部构造反转抬升并遭受侵蚀。中更新世早期和中期凹陷区断陷沉降并接受沉积。中更新世晚期研究区整体抬升而遭受剥蚀。晚更新世西部主凹陷区在稳定或弱沉降并形成泥质沉积,东部间歇性抬升。在上述中更新世晚期开始的构造抬升的同时,研究区东部产生了自东向西、自南向北的构造掀斜。全新世构造总体稳定,西部洞庭湖区形成湖冲积。区域上,第四纪洞庭盆地构造性质经历了早期断陷到晚期坳陷的转变。  相似文献

A detailed gravimetric study has been integrated with the most recent stratigraphic data in the area comprised between the Arno river and the foothills of the Northern Apennines, in northern Tuscany (central Italy). A Plio–Pleistocene basin lies in this area; its sedimentary succession can be subdivided from the bottom, in five allostratigraphic units: (1) Lower–Middle Pliocene shallow marine deposits; (2) Late Pliocene (?)–Early Pleistocene fluvio-lacustrine deposits; (3) late–Early Pleistocene–Middle Pleistocene alluvial to fluvial red conglomerates (Montecarlo Formation); (4) Middle Pleistocene alluvial to fluvial red conglomerates (Cerbaie and Casa Poggio ai Lecci Formations); (5) alluvial to fluvial deposits of Late Pleistocene age. The Bouguer anomaly map displays a strong minimum in the northeastern sector of the basin, and a gentle gradient from west to east. The map of the horizontal gradients permits to recognise three major fault zones, two of which along the southwestern and northeastern margins of the basin, and one along the southeastern edge of the Pisani Mountains. A 2.5D gravimetric modelling along a SW–NE section across the basin displays a thick wedge of sediments of density 2.25 g/cm3 (about 1700 m in the depocenter) overlying a layer of density 2.55 g/cm3, 1000 m thick, which rests on a basement of 2.72 g/cm3. The most of the sediment wedge is here referred to Upper Pliocene (?)–Lower Pleistocene, because borehole data show Pliocene marine deposits thinning northward close to the southern margin of the area. The layer below is referred to Ligurids and upper Tuscan Nappe units; the densest layer is interpreted as composed of Triassic evaporites, quartzites and Palaeozoic basement. According to Carmignani low-angle extensional tectonics began between Serravallian and early Messinian, thinning the Apennine nappe stack. At the end of Middle Pliocene, syn-rift deposition ceased in the Viareggio Basin (west of the investigated area) as demonstrated by Argnani and co-workers, and high-angle extensional tectonics migrated eastward up to the Monte Albano Ridge. A syn-rift continental sedimentary wedge developed in Late Pliocene–Early Pleistocene, until its hanging wall block was dismembered, during late Early Pleistocene, by NE-dipping faults, causing the uplift of its western portion (the Pisani Mountains). This breakup caused exhumation and erosion of Triassic units whose clastics where shed into the surrounding palaeo-Arno Valley in alluvial–fluvial deposits unconformably overlying the Lower Pleistocene syn-rift deposits. In the late Pleistocene SW–NE-trending fault systems created the steep southeastern edge of the Pisani Mountains and the resulting throw is recorded in Middle Pleistocene deposits across the present Arno Valley. This tectonic phase probably continues at present, offshore Livorno, as evidenced by the epicentres of earthquakes.  相似文献

第四纪洞庭盆地赤山隆起与安乡凹陷升降运动的沉积记录   总被引:12,自引:0,他引:12  
通过地表地质调查和钻井资料,对第四纪洞庭盆地南部赤山隆起及其西侧安乡凹陷的沉积和地貌特征进行研究,进而探讨二者的升降过程。赤山隆起为居于洞庭盆地南部的小型抬升断块,主要受东、西边界正断裂所控制,长约18 km,宽4~5 km。隆起内早更新世汨罗组和中更新世新开铺组、白沙井组组成多级阶地。安乡凹陷内充填200~300 m厚的河流和湖泊相沉积,自下而上依次为早更新世华田组、汨罗组,中更新世洞庭湖组,晚更新世坡头组,全新世湖积、冲积等。地貌与沉积特征表明,早更新世—中更新世中期赤山隆起总体表现出抬升期与稳定期交替的脉动式抬升,而安乡凹陷则表现出缓慢与快速沉降交替的幕式沉降特征;前者构造较稳定期和构造抬升期分别对应于后者缓慢沉降期和快速沉降期。中更新世晚期二者因区域构造反转而整体抬升并遭受剥蚀。晚更新世—全新世安乡凹陷在拗陷背景下接受沉积。上述第四纪早期赤山隆起脉动式抬升与安乡凹陷幕式沉降的对应关系,为洞庭盆地与周边隆起的盆—山耦合过程提供了约束,同时暗示盆地断陷活动可能与地幔上隆导致中地壳物质自凹陷向周边迁移有关。  相似文献

通过地表观察和钻孔资料,对洞庭盆地安乡凹陷及其西缘第四纪构造沉积特征和环境演化进行了研究,为江汉—洞庭盆地第四纪地质研究补充了新的资料。凹陷总体呈南北向,周边为正断裂。凹陷内第四系厚一般为100-220 m,最厚达300 m,自下而上依次为早更新世华田组、汨罗组,中更新世洞庭湖组,晚更新世坡头组和全新世湖冲积。第四系以砾石层、砂层为主,次为(含)粉砂质黏土、黏土,岩性、岩相横向变化大。安乡凹陷西缘(即太阳山隆起东缘),呈自西向东缓倾的丘岗地貌。区内主要发育中更新世白沙井组,其中南部下部以砂、砾石层为主,上部为黏土;北部以粉砂质黏土沉积为主,下部可发育砂层。根据地貌、沉积及控凹断裂特征,重塑安乡凹陷及其西缘第四纪构造活动与环境演化过程:早更新世—中更新世早期,凹陷西边的北北东向周家店断裂伸展活动,安乡凹陷不均匀沉降,总体具河流和过流性湖泊环境并接受沅水沉积;同期凹陷西缘构造抬升,处于剥蚀的山地环境。中更新世中期断陷活动向西扩展,凹陷区为过流性湖泊环境;凹陷西缘地区转为河流(南部)和湖泊(北部)环境并接受沉积。中更新世晚期安乡凹陷及其西缘整体抬升并遭受剥蚀,凹陷西缘同时具有自西向东的掀斜。晚更新世安乡凹陷拗陷沉降,具河流和湖泊环境;同期凹陷西缘遭受剥蚀。晚更新世末受区域海平面下降影响,安乡凹陷遭受剥蚀。全新世安乡凹陷拗陷沉降,具泛滥平原之河流、湖泊环境。  相似文献

罗布泊位于塔里木盆地东端,地处欧亚大陆深腹地,罗北凹地则是罗布泊东北部的一个次级凹地。通过对罗北凹地LDK01深孔沉积物粒度、磁化率和地球化学的分析,并结合沉积物的岩性、盐类矿物形态特征和和组合类型、构造背景,对罗布泊地区第四纪成钾环境的阶段性变化规律进行探讨。研究表明,罗布泊地区早更新世以来依次发育了河流相、三角洲相、湖泊相-风成相等沉积体系,并呈现出明显快速的湖相推进和退缩交替的频繁变化,指示盐湖演化是干湿气候周期变化和湖盆周围山区淡水周期补给共同作用结果。第四纪时期罗北凹地发展并最终形成塔里木"高山深盆"中最深的次级凹地地貌,这是青藏高原隆升导致的向北挤压的必然结果,大地构造和环境的变化直接控制了罗布泊盐湖的构造演化和沉积体系的转变。罗布泊盐湖的演化大致可分为三个阶段:第一阶段为断陷阶段,早更新世以来主要沉积淡水河流湖泊相陆源碎屑物;第二阶段为坳陷阶段,中更新世中期发育膏岩湖相,以石膏等硫酸盐析出为主要特征;第三阶段为萎缩阶段,进入晚更新世,大量盐湖相钙芒硝沉积至全新世时期石盐等氯化物析出;上述三个阶段构成一个完整蒸发沉积构造旋回并于最终阶段中形成了超大型的钾盐矿床。  相似文献

研究区位于扬子陆块上扬子区,中二叠世早期地层梁山组产有丰富的沉积矿产,其中铝土矿具有良好的勘探开发前景。为了揭示区内中二叠世早期铝土矿的形成、分布与岩相古地理的关系,对区内梁山组的沉积特征、展布规律和含矿性进行了研究,编制了中二叠世早期梁山组岩相古地理图,提出了区内铝土矿障壁后泻湖成矿的模式。结果表明,区内古地理格局具有北高南低、南海北陆的特点,鲁甸—威宁—贵阳—都匀一线为障壁沉积体系,北部为障壁后泻湖沉积体系,南部为正常浅海沉积体系,大致可划分为隆起、滨湖、浅湖、半深湖—深湖、障壁砂坝、内陆棚和外陆棚7个沉积亚相,铝土矿矿床全部分布于北部泻湖半深湖—深湖相区内,岩相古地理控矿作用明显。  相似文献

通过对罗布泊东部阿奇克谷地中部AK1孔及露头剖面第四纪沉积特征的综合研究,初步分析了阿奇克谷地第四纪以来的沉积环境与古地理演化。结果表明,阿奇克谷地第四纪古地理受上新世以来区域构造控制,谷地两侧北山及阿尔金山的隆升,一方面为其提供了丰富的物质来源,同时也控制了其沉积环境的演化。其中第四纪以来阿奇克谷地沉积环境有两次明显变化,早更新世中期谷地中开始出现湖相沉积;中更新世晚期湖相沉积范围扩大,为罗布泊湖的大发展期。晚更新世谷地两侧普遍出现砾石层,与中更新世呈不整合接触,表明构造抬升造成湖泊退缩。晚更新世以来湖泊沉积环境波动变化加快。  相似文献

第四纪澧县凹陷为洞庭盆地西北部的一个次级凹陷.通过地表观察和钻孔资料,对澧县凹陷及周缘第四纪沉积物和地貌及其反映的构造活动特征进行了研究,进而探讨构造活动的动力机制.澧县凹陷呈由南、北西、北东边界正断裂所限的三角形.早更新世.中更新世中期,边界正断裂强烈活动,凹陷区大幅沉降,充填了一套以砂砾层为主的沉积,其厚度自凹陷边缘向中央增加;正断裂下盘局部存在较大幅度沉降.与此同时,澧县凹陷南面、西面的外围地区产生构造抬升,形成由冲积层组成的多级基座阶地.中更新世晚期开始凹陷区及周缘地带整体抬升,凹陷区北部及凹陷南缘产生自西向东的掀斜,凹陷区北部形成小型褶皱构造.上述构造活动特征指示澧县凹陷在早更新世.中更新世中期具断陷盆地性质,中更新世晚期以来具拗陷盆地性质.提出早更新世-中更新世中期构造活动与地幔上隆有关:深部地幔上涌对地壳加热,使凹陷区中地壳韧塑性物质膨胀而向周边侧向迁移,尔后冷却收缩致上层地壳"塌陷"而产生整体性下拗沉降,并于下沉块体侧翼发育正断裂.此外,重力均衡机制可能也起到一定作用.中更新世晚期以来的构造活动可能与深部物质蠕移运动的弹性回返以及板块尺度的物质运动和挤压作用有关.  相似文献

河流系统的发育往往能反映相关地质作用的细节.对东昆仑山东段北坡众多河流阶地及其沉积物的研究表明, 该区在早更新世晚期昆仑-黄河运动之后形成的东西向盆岭相间的地貌特征奠定了早期河流为东西向外流水系的基础; 中更新世晚期以来的又一次强烈构造抬升事件———共和运动, 导致昆仑山北坡各主要河流迅速溯源侵蚀发展, 伴随河流袭夺而形成现今的水系格局; 晚更新世晚期存在一段相对较长的构造稳定期, 河谷普遍发生堆积作用, 形成分布广泛且厚度较大的晚更新世冲积层; 接近全新世以来构造运动频繁而隆升的幅度趋于减弱, 形成了5级河流阶地, 并且阶地的发育类型普遍为以高级阶地(T5) 为基座的上叠阶地, 河流至今未能切穿晚更新世稳定期形成的厚冲积层.   相似文献

根据新生代沉积盆地的地层序列、环境演变及地貌和水系变迁分析将研究区新生代高原隆升过程划分为5个重大事件.首次在研究区内海拔5400m的主夷平面上发现古土壤、岩溶角砾岩及钟乳石等, 认为沱沱河组上段细碎屑沉积及五道梁组石膏沉积(中新世) 是主夷平面形成期的沉积响应, 提出了主夷平面的高程具有东西向排列的盆岭地貌特点, 这种高程差异反映了后期构造隆升的不均衡, 应该是上新世以来差异断块抬升的结果; 早更新世中期(1525.5ka后) 一套河流砂砾卵石沉积是青藏运动C幕的沉积响应, 体现在布尔汗布达山的强烈上升和成山; 早更新世晚期(1113.9~836.3ka) 先湖滨砾石沉积, 后转为河流砂砾卵石沉积, 是昆黄运动在研究区的沉积响应, 并体现在马尔争-布青山的强烈上升和成山, 中更新世早期冰碛物的发育说明昆黄运动后研究区已隆升达到"水汽冻结高度"; 研究区T5阶地沉积前的强烈下蚀, 柴达木盆地内陆水系溯源侵蚀切过布尔汗布达山主分水岭, 袭夺了昆南断裂带原由西向东流向共和古湖的东西向水系并到达阿拉克湖一带, 晚更新世洪冲积角度不整合于中更新世洪冲积之上等是共和运动的具体表现.   相似文献

The structural elements constituting the forearc basin of the Calabrian Arc–Sicily orogenic system are recognizable on land and in the Tyrrhenian offshore. The Plio–Pleistocene retreat of the Ionian subduction hinge, coeval with the roll-back of the Africa continental crust, leads to segmentation of the forearc basin and southeastward migration of the Calabrian Arc due to its higher degree of mobility compared to Sicily, where, on the contrary, continental collision takes place. The analysis of geological data collected in three areas of the orogenic belt and the integration with offshore geophysical data show evidence of two phases of subduction hinge retreat: (1) Late Pliocene–Early Pleistocene southeastward migration accompanied by the development of N120°E trending tear-faults and NE–SW-trending extensional systems, (2) Middle–Late Pleistocene SSE-ward migration with development of NNW–SSE-trending tear-faults and N70°E-trending collapse systems. The data presented here provide an innovative framework for the interpretation of this most seismically active area of the Mediterranean. In particular, in the Messina Strait area, the more recent N70°E lineaments could be associated with the faults that generated the 1783 Calabria earthquake and are coherent with the focal mechanism of the 1908 Messina earthquake, confirmed also by the analysis of frequency diagrams of the elongation directions of the isoseists.  相似文献

A combination of published and new radiometric dates on uplifted Holocene fossil beaches from northeastern Sicily and southern Calabria (southern Italy) is compared with the altitude of the inner margin of the Last Interglacial (LIg) (Late Pleistocene, 124 ka) and older marine terraces in order to gain a regional-scale outline of uplift rates and their temporal changes in a region which is one of the fastest uplifting sectors of the Central Mediterranean Sea. Late Holocene radiocarbon dates from Ioppolo (southern Calabria) and Ganzirri (northeast Sicily), two newly discovered sites are here presented for the first time. The Holocene uplift rates are highest at St. Alessio and Taormina in eastern Sicily (2.4 mm/y) and at Scilla in southwestern Calabria (2.1 mm/y), two sites located across the Messina Straits and which separate the island of Sicily from mainland Italy. Uplift rates decrease towards the south and north from this centre of uplift. Late Holocene uplift rates show an apparent increase of between 64 and 124% when compared with the longer-term uplift rates calculated from the LIg highstand terraces. Furthermore, we discovered that the locations of fastest Late Pleistocene and Late Holocene uplift rates spatially coincide. To what extent the Holocene increase in uplift rates results from incomplete elastic strain release along the major extensional faults which frame the seismotectonic of the area, or indicate a true change in regional tectonic processes, is not resolved. Nonetheless, the heterogeneity of uplift, with a well-defined centre that crosses the Messina Straits, and its persistence at different time-scales indicates a tight connection between wider regional processes and fault-related displacement in controlling crustal instability in this area.  相似文献

为查明唐山西部平原区晚新生代以来松散堆积物的沉积演化特征,依托鸦鸿桥幅1∶5万区域地质调查工作,对唐山西部PZK14孔进行色度、粒度、视电阻率测井、自然伽马测井等研究,划分沉积相并计算各时段的沉积速率,结果表明: 该地区新生代晚期主要发育湖泊相、三角洲相和河流相。早更新世初始发育三角洲相,随着气候转暖,古滦河冲积扇退积,三角洲相转变为河流相; 早更新世中—晚期,发育3个湖泊-三角洲相沉积旋回; 中更新世发育一个湖泊-三角洲相沉积旋回; 晚更新世初沉积了巨厚的湖相层,随着气候转冷,渤海湾沿岸海侵结束,湖盆开始萎缩,转变为河流相; 全新世则以河间洼地沉积为主。沉积速率-年龄曲线表明: 第四纪以来构造作用对该地区沉积速率控制较弱,气候为影响沉积相发育的主要因素。第四纪各个时期的沉积速率均较快,奥杜威极性亚时(1.95~1.77 Ma)沉积速率最大,约为194.0 m/Ma; 2.52~1.95 Ma沉积速率最小,约为111.2 m/Ma。研究成果对恢复该区域古地理演化、水工环地质勘查等具有重要意义。  相似文献

两护村ZKC1孔位于洞庭盆地安乡凹陷的东南部,孔内第四系(底部跨上新世)厚达294 m,为河流和湖泊沉积,自下而上依次为上新世—早更新世华田组、早更新世汨罗组、中更新世洞庭湖组、晚更新世坡头组以及全新统等。对ZKC1孔第四系进行了详细的孢粉分析,自下而上划分出16个孢粉组合带。ESR年龄和孢粉组合及其反映的气候特征指示华田组下段形成于上新世末。根据孢粉组合特征,结合构造—沉积演化和区域气候背景,重塑洞庭盆地上新世末以来的气候演化过程:上新世末期由孢粉带Ⅰ和Ⅱ指示具暖干气候。早更新世经历了凉干(孢粉带Ⅲ、Ⅳ)→暖湿间凉干(孢粉带Ⅴ~Ⅶ)→冷干间温湿(孢粉带Ⅷ~Ⅹ)→暖较湿(孢粉带Ⅺ,Ⅻ)的气候演变过程。中更新世早期无孢粉样品(洞庭湖组下部砾石层),其沉积环境暗示冷干气候条件;中期由孢粉带ⅩⅢ反映出暖稍湿的气候特征;晚期因构造抬升缺失沉积,同期湿热化事件指示暖湿气候。晚更新世早期缺乏沉积,据区域对比应为寒冷气候;中期由孢粉带ⅩⅣ指示温较湿的气候特征;晚期缺失沉积,系寒冷气候下区域海平面下降所致。全新世经历了暖稍湿(孢粉带ⅩⅤ)→暖稍干(孢粉带ⅩⅥ)的演变。上述气候演变过程与ZKC1孔化学蚀变指数曲线反映的气候演变过程以及中国东部第四纪气候演化基本吻合。以孔深140 m为界,上部孢粉数量显著高于下部,种属也更为丰富。这一变化很可能对应于一次重要的地质事件,其成因有待今后深入研究。  相似文献

Early and Middle Pleistocene landscapes of eastern England   总被引:1,自引:1,他引:0  
This paper reviews the pattern of climate and environmental change in eastern England over the period of the Early and Middle Pleistocene, focussing especially upon northern East Anglia. Particular attention is given to the climate and tectonics that have brought about these changes and the distinctive geology, topography and biology that has developed. Throughout, an attempt is made to describe the new models that have been proposed for the Early and Middle Pleistocene of eastern England, and explain the reasons for these changes. The Early Pleistocene experienced relatively high insulation and relatively low magnitude climatic change and is represented primarily by non-climatically forced processes in the form of tidal current- and wave-activity which formed shallow marine deposits. It is possible to recognise a tectonic control in the distribution of deposits of this age because the surface processes do not have the power to remove this signature. The early Middle Pleistocene was dominated by higher magnitude climatic change involving, occasionally, climatic extremes that ranged from permafrost to mediterranean. The landscape at this time was dominated by the behaviour of major rivers (Thames, Bytham, Ancaster) and extensive coastal activity. In the latter part of the early Middle Pleistocene and the Late Middle Pleistocene the climate experienced major changes which resulted in periods of lowland glaciation and short intervals when the climate was warmer than the present. Details of tectonic activity are difficult to identify because they are removed by powerful surface processes, but it is possible to infer uplift focussed on the major interfluves of central England and subsidence in the North Seas basin. In the areas of glaciation the landscape changed radically from an organised terrain dominated by large rivers and extensive shallow coastal zones to complex, with small valleys, disrupted drainage and often discontinuous river, slope and coastal deposits. Likewise the switching off of the North Sea Delta and the opening of the Strait of Dover, separating Britain from continental Europe can be attributed to the onset of lowland glaciation. The case is made that eastern England was glaciated four times during the Middle Pleistocene: during MIS 16, 12, 10 and 6, and attention is given to recent evidence contradicting this model. Over the period of the Middle Pleistocene there is evidence for high biomass production occurring over short intervals coinciding with the climatic optima of MIS 19, 17, 15, 13, 11, and 7c, 7a and during most of these warmer periods, extending back to c. 750 ka (MIS 19/17), there is evidence in the region for the brief appearance of humans.  相似文献

西秦岭早三叠世沉积由深水浊积岩、角砾岩、砾岩、滑塌堆积、深水灰岩和钙质泥岩六个岩相组成,在垂向上表现为受构造控制而形成的四个沉积旋回。浊积岩及滑塌堆积的指向表明,大陆边缘的斜坡倾向西南,古水流方向200-260°、说明沿碌曲-成县以北的北方板块边缘在早三叠世存在一引张构造背景,这与扬子板块向北俯冲引起的拖拉滚动有关。  相似文献

新疆和田火烧云铅锌矿的发现,标志着我国铅锌找矿在西昆仑甜水海地区取得了重大突破,区内目前已发现铅锌矿床(点)29处,其中铅锌矿中型矿床7个、大型矿床2个、超大型矿床1个。通过收集整理区内最新的矿产地质勘查成果资料,对该区带内铅锌矿的成矿特征、找矿前景进行系统分析与总结,将区内铅锌矿床划分为密西西比河谷型(MVT)和沉积喷流型(SEDEX) 2个大类和4个具体类型,认为它们的成矿过程分别与区域大地构造演化、区域断裂活动及同沉积断层-喷流沉积活动密切相关,在矿体形态、矿石矿物、矿石结构构造等矿化特征及成矿模式方面均有明显差异。火烧云式是受中侏罗统龙山组上段灰岩-白云岩沉积层位控制的沉积喷流型铅锌矿,化石山式是受中侏罗统龙山组铁锰质沉积层位控制的沉积喷流型铅锌矿,多宝山式是受断裂构造控制的碳酸盐岩建造中的MVT型铅锌矿,元宝岭式是受北东向左行张扭性断裂控制的碎屑岩建造中的MVT型铅锌矿。  相似文献
