以浙江省某县城垃圾填埋场渗滤液为研究对象,采用预处理+MBR+NF工艺进行处理研究,研究了各工艺段对渗滤液中COD、氨氮和TN的去除效果,并对MBR的溶解氧、PH等影响因素进行单独分析。膜系统对纳滤系统回收率进行了分析。研究发现外置式MBR系统对有机物和氨氮有着较高的去除率;外置式MBR系统对DO、PH要求较高,最佳运行参数分别为DO 2~3mg/L,pH 7~8;纳滤系统对重金属、色度、有机物有着较高的截留率,对氨氮截留效果有限。纳滤用于外置式MBR后,处理超滤出水,对未降解有机物有着有效的截留和处理效果。该工艺对COD、氨氮、SS的去除率达到了99%、99.5%、99%,较低的出水浓度达到了预期的效果。  相似文献

Increasingly stringent regulatory regimes, in conjunction with landfill development in environmentally sensitive locations and the large number of abandoned landfill sites, are significantly increasing the responsibilities of local authorities and environmental agencies. These responsibilities include the identification and/or monitoring of: locations of contaminated land; boundaries of waste sites; nature of the landfill content; location, extent, content and depth of closed landfill sites; leachate plumes escaping from both operational and closed sites and the performance of landfill liners. Probabilistic risk based modelling is a standard methodology for monitoring and managing the environmental impact of landfill sites. A critical problem in the implementation of probabilistic risk based modelling is the large uncertainty in the shallow geology, internal structure and leachate distribution of landfills caused by the severe lack of both surface and subsurface information from within and outside the landfill site. The utility of two non-invasive ground based geophysical monitoring techniques, ground penetrating radar and reflectance spectroscopy, as aids to characterising the three-dimensional structure and distribution of leachate within a landfill has been investigated. Strong correlations between red edge inflection position and chlorophyll and metal concentration have been demonstrated from grassland species affected by leachate contamination of the soil adjacent to the landfill study site. The results of this study have demonstrated how recent advances in equipment, techniques and software mean that field-based reflectance spectroscopy and Ground Penetrating Radar can now provide environmental scientists with cost-effective, rapid techniques to characterise landfill sites in three dimensions, aid landfill managers in positioning additional boreholes and field sampling surveys, and provide data as inputs to leachate migration modelling.  相似文献

Among the various approaches devised in managing municipal solid wastes, landfills remain the final destination of waste irrespective of the technology used in treating it. Incorrect siting of landfill sites could lead to environmental, social and economic cost; hence, appropriate techniques are required in the identification of potential landfill sites. In densely populated areas in Sierra Leone, there is often tension over the location of landfill sites, where ‘not in my backyard’ campaigns have sparked riots. This article presents a methodological framework for identifying municipal landfill sites in urban areas in Sierra Leone using Bo in Southern Sierra Leone as a case in point. This framework involves a multi-criteria GIS approach that blends two aggregation techniques: Weighted Linear Combination and Ordered Weighted Averaging. Key results show that 83.3% of the study area is unsuitable for municipal landfill.  相似文献

Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) landfills world-wide are experiencing the consequences of conventional landfilling techniques, whereby anaerobic conditions are created within the landfill waste. Under anaerobic conditions, slow stabilization of the waste mass occurs, producing methane, (an explosive, 'greenhouse' gas) and toxic leachate over long periods of time. As a potential solution, it was demonstrated that the aerobic degradation of MSW within a landfill can significantly increase the rate of waste decomposition and settlement, decrease the production of methane gas, reduce the level of toxic organics in the leachate and decrease quantities of landfill leachate that need treatment. This paper summarizes the successful results of two separate aerobic landfill projects located in Georgia (USA) and discusses the potential economic and environmental impacts to world-wide solid waste management.  相似文献

Like many countries in sub-Saharan Africa, Ghana lacks well-engineered sanitary landfill sites. Increased urbanization and concomitant real estate growth lead landfills to compete with residential land use, resulting in closer proximity between landfill sites and residential neighborhoods. The effects of landfills on the property values of nearby residential communities have been the subject of much debate in the developed world, where state-of-the-art and environmentally well-engineered landfills are common. However, academic and other research is inconclusive on the effects of landfills on property values in the developed countries. This paper addresses this knowledge gap by exploring the effects of landfills on residential property values in Ghana, using the Oblogo and Mallam landfills in Accra as a case study. Our analysis indicates that while landfills do depress nearby residential property values, the effects are contingent on property location relative to the level of urbanization in a community, and year of completion and total costs of property development.  相似文献

The concerns of political ecology since its beginnings as a field have been predominantly set in rural areas with limited focus on urban industrial risks. Further, debates on the global South (often from Anglo‐American perspectives) have not fully appreciated the divergent and differentiated perceptions of urban risks and, therefore, everyday forms of resistance within civil society. Instead, work has mainly focused on civil society power relations against the state and industry that are driven by coherent populist political agendas. Against this setting, this paper's contribution aims to better contextualize ‘other’ third world localities in political ecology through a case study of urban industrial risks in the upper/middle income (as opposed to rural, low/lower middle income) country, South Africa. In doing so, the paper sheds light on the derelict aspect of civil society contestation, especially along class and ethnic lines, over urban landfill infrastructure as a livelihood resource or a health hazard. The paper draws upon frameworks of self‐reflexivity and reflexive localism as complementary to the mainstream political ecology to illuminate differentiated civil society reflexiveness and therefore, aims to advance the discussion of other political ecologies. The case study of the largest formal landfill site in Africa, the Bisasar landfill situated in Durban, highlights differences underlying power relations and constraints within civil society (in leadership, social networking, resources and mistrust) that have implications for mainstream political ecology notions of civil society coherence.  相似文献

采用混凝沉淀-Fenton-SBR反硝化脱氮-BAF法工艺对经SBR处理的垃圾渗滤液进行深度处理。在进水污染物平均浓度为:CODcr=800mg·L-1,BOD5=50mg·L-1,NH3-N=10mg·L-1,NO3-N=550mg·L-1,TN=630mg·L-1,色度=600倍的情况下,组合工艺的最佳条件为:PFS加药量为0.5g·L-1;H2O2(30%)投加量为0.6m·lL-1,Fe2+投加量为0.005mo·lL-1,反应时间为4小时;反硝化以甲醇为外加碳源,碳氮比为3.2。最终出水水质CODcr≤80mg·L-1,BOD5≤10mg·L-1,NH3-N≤1.0mg·L-1,NO3-N≤10mg·L-1,TN≤10mg·L-1,色度≤15倍,SS≤10mg·L-1,达到生活垃圾填埋场污染排放标准(GB16889-2008)。组合工艺的药剂总成本低于6.85元/吨。  相似文献

State environmental protection agencies are being forced to assume more responsibility for solid waste management. Ohio took the lead in mandating the state control of waste by implementing a statewide, integrated solid waste management plan. This paper discusses the shift in management responsibility and key factors affecting variations in the amounts of waste managed by Ohio's 48 solid waste management districts. Accessibility, population characteristics, location, and open landfill availability are factors that influence managed volumes of solid waste.  相似文献

Effective risk communication is central to good environmental risk management. While studies have shown that newspapers are the primary source of information to the public regarding environmental issues, little is known about how environmental news is used as a risk‐communication tool. This article explores the role of local information systems in risk communication, using newspaper content analysis as well as in‐depth interviews with journalists and community residents to develop a case study of an environmental assessment process for a nonhazardous industrial‐waste landfill. Results indicate that risk messages were chosen and shaped by journalists on the basis of their own exigencies. In addition, while newspapers were a major source of risk information, their impact was mitigated by resident distrust and access to other information sources, most notably their own personal information networks. These results have implications for environmental policy, as decision makers often use—either passively or actively—print media as a risk‐communication tool.  相似文献

通过对北京市菜地、稻田、果园、绿化地、麦地以及自然土壤6种土地利用类型共595个土壤样品的调查分析,探讨了不同土地利用方式对土壤镉含量的影响。结果表明,绿化地、麦地以及自然土壤与背景值没有显著差别;菜地、稻田、果园的镉含量显著高于背景值。6种土地利用类型中,菜地土壤的镉含量最高,其次为稻田和果园,绿化地以及麦地土壤镉的含量最低。与土壤基线值相比,果园样品有9.5%的样品超出,绿化地与菜地分别有7.7%和4.6%超出。在全部土壤样品中,共有19个样品超标,超标率为3.2%。石景山、门头沟、丰台、海淀等地区的样品超标较多,应该合理规划这些地区的农业土地利用。  相似文献
