本文根据1980年2月至1989年11月期间SMM卫星的硬X射线(HXR)暴观测和GOES卫星的行星际质子积分流量观测,证认出48个共同样品,统计发现HXR暴的寿命Td(s)、峰值记数率Fx(c/s)和爆发期间发射的总光子数c的对数值,与行星际质子积分流量(被归一到耀斑本地)值Fp的对数值之间,均具有特别显著的线性关系,其中以logFp与logC的线性关系为最好,其拟合方程是logFp(>10MeV)=一0.604+0.538logC,相关系数r为0.70,相对标准误差为0.28.文中对质子积分流量的预测精度也作了讨论,并给出了置信区间。  相似文献

本文作者在活动星系核红移分布(0<z≤0.2)中发现了准周期性的峰。这些峰分布于z≈0.030,0.060,0.090,0.120处(其中z=0.060处的峰是1968年Burbidge发现的并于1990年证实)。红移数据的功率谱表明。这些峰值的准周期为△z=0.027±0.002。两个相邻的峰所表征的空间距离为81±6h~(-1)Mpc。这可能是宇宙大尺度结构中各个单元的特征尺度(H_0=100h~(-1)Mpc~(-1)ms~(-1)。  相似文献

为了深入研究密云射电源表分类样本的性质,作为系列工作的第一部分,选出了一个232~4850MHz平谱源样本.1998年5月29至31日,利用北京天文台2.16米望远镜和OMR摄谱仪,对其中18个目标进行了观测及光谱认证.结果共证认出15个AGN,其中3个信噪比不小于8的BLLac天体和5个类星体(最大红移为2.519±0.003)是新发现的.  相似文献

初步探讨用日长和卫星轨道摄动方法研究半月潮Mf和Mm的Love数k2。结果表明,日长方法给出k2=0.3032+i0.0028(Mf),0.3026+i0.0012(Mm),卫星轨道摄动方法为k2=0.3083-i0.0100(Mf),0.3014-i0.0010(Mm),并与理论固体潮计算结果较为相符,另外,上述结果更接近滞弹地球模型计算的结果,因此精确地测定长期潮Love数将对固体潮理论和地幔  相似文献

Spectra around the 6374 Å [Fex] and 7892 Å [Fexi] emission lines were obtained simultaneously with the 25-cm coronagraph at Norikura Observatory covering an area of 200 ×500 of the solar corona. The line width, peak intensity and line-of-sight velocity for both the lines were computed using Gaussian fits to the observed line profiles at each location (4 ×4 ) of the observed coronal region. The line-width measurements show that in steady coronal structures the FWHM of the 6374 Å emission line increases with height above the limb with an average value of 1.02 mÅ arc sec–1. The FWHM of the 7892 Å line also increases with height but at a smaller average value of 0.55 mÅ arc sec–1. These observations agree well with our earlier results obtained from observations of the red, green, and infrared emission lines that variation of the FWHM of the coronal emission lines with height in steady coronal structures depends on plasma temperatures they represent. The FWHM gradient is negative for high-temperature emission lines, positive for relatively low-temperature lines and smaller for emission lines in the intermediate temperature range. Such a behaviour in the variation of the FWHM of coronal emission lines with height above the limb suggests that it may not always be possible to interpret an increase in the FWHM of emission line with height as an increase in the nonthermal velocity, and hence rules out the existence of waves in steady coronal structures.  相似文献

A new imaging atmospheric Cherenkov telescope with a light-weight reflector has been constructed. Light, robust, and durable mirror facets of containing carbon fiber reinforced plastic laminates were developed for the telescope. The reflector has a parabolic shape (f/1.1) with a 30 m2 surface area, which consists of 60 spherical mirror facets. The image size of each mirror facet is 0°.08 (FWHM) on average. The attitude of each facet can be adjusted by stepping motors. After the first in situ adjustment, a point image of about 0°.14 (FWHM) over 3° field of view was obtained. The effect of gravitational load on the optical system was confirmed to be negligible at the focal plane. The telescope has been in operation with an energy threshold for γ-rays of 300 GeV since May 1999.  相似文献

By making line profile analyses of the Fe xiv 5303 coronal line, temporal variations of three fundamental quantities, the line intensity, the FWHM, and the Doppler velocity, have been investigated for an active region. The power spectrum shows that the line-of-sight Doppler velocity fluctuated periodically at two locations with a period of nearly 300 seconds, while no periodic oscillations were found in line intensity. As to the FWHM, some evidence of periodic fluctuations are recognized but in a less distinct manner.The Sacramento Peak Observatory is operated by the Associated Universities for Research in Astronomy Inc. by contact with the National Science Foundation.  相似文献

The possibility of measuring magnetic fields of solar active regions at coronal heights up to 1010 cm by observing the inversion of circular polarization of local sources at microwaves is demonstrated. The observations by the radiotelescope RATAN-600 were accomplished with the angular resolution 17–34 in the wavelength range 2–4 cm. It is found that the inversion of polarization occured within a core of local source situated above the largest sunspot of Mc Math 14822. The inversion was followed during the period of June 30–July 3, 1977. The measured coronal magnetic field of 16 G is found to be at the height 12 × 109 cm. This measured field proves to agree with a simulated potential structure of Mc Math 14822 coronal magnetic field. Our analysis of the inversion has been based on the theory of interaction (coupling) of the ordinary and extraordinary wave modes in the region of quasi-transverse propagation.  相似文献

The COMPTEL instrument onboard theCompton Gamma-Ray Observatory imaged the bright gamma-ray burst GRB 940301 within 1.6 hours of the event, with a mean 1 error radius of 1.5°. The error region was subsequently refined by combining the COMPTEL location with the arc derived from differences in the event arrival time at the Ulysses and BATSE detectors. Westerbork observations of the COMPTEL error region began on March 4 1994 at 21 cm, however coverage of the refined position was not obtained until 32 days after the GRB occurrence, by which time the operating wavelength had changed to 92 cm. We have constrained the level of variability of sources within the triangulation arc-COMPTEL 2 error box region to be less than 40 mJy (5 upper limit) at 92 cm 41 days after the burst.  相似文献

Instrumentation built to record seeing data automatically via image motion measurements of bright stars in small telescopes is described. The centroid of the star image is found 256 times s-1 in one dimension and is analyzed on-line. The device works over a range of FWHM values as would be seen through a large telescope between <0.1 and 3.0 arcsec. The first results for two identical instruments set up at two locations near the duPont Telescope at Las Campanas Observatory are reported. For a total of 61 nights of data (450 h at each site), the median seeing is 0.6 arcsec, with quartiles at 0.4 and 0.8 arcsec. These are FWHM values referred to 5000 Å at the zenith. So far, the two sites are indistinguishable on average.  相似文献

Very Large Array (VLA) radio observations of precisely-located GRB error boxes have been performed to search for fading and quiescent emission associated with -ray bursts. These observations were made as quickly as 23 hours and as late as 13 years after the time of the burst. Our measurements presented here have found GRB error boxes to be empty of sources to the 80 µJy level ( = 3.6 cm) at 9 months, to 1 mJy (20 cm) at 9 days, and probably to 5 mJy (20 cm) at 23 hours after the bursts.  相似文献

The spiral pattern in the nearby spiral galaxy NGC 6946 has been studied using the wavelet transformation technique, applied to galaxy images in polarized and total non-thermal radio emission at λλ 3.5 and 6.2 cm, in broadband red light, in the λ 21.1 cm H  i line and in the optical Hα line. Well-defined, continuous spiral arms are visible in polarized radio emission and red light, where we can isolate a multi-armed pattern in the range of galactocentric distances 1.5–12 kpc, consisting of four long arms and one short spiral segment. The 'magnetic arms' (visible in polarized radio emission) are localized almost precisely between the optical arms. Each magnetic arm is similar in length and pitch angle to the preceding optical arm (in the sense of galactic rotation) and can be regarded as its phase-shifted image. Even details like a bifurcation of an optical arm have their phase-shifted counterparts in the magnetic arms. The average relative amplitude of the optical spiral arms (the stellar density excess over the azimuthal average) grows with galactocentric radius up to 0.3–0.7 at r ≃5 kpc, decreases by a factor of two at r =5–6 kpc and remains low at 0.2–0.3 in the outer parts of the galaxy. By contrast, the magnetic arms have a constant average relative amplitude (the excess in the regular magnetic field strength over the azimuthal average) of 0.3–0.6 in a wide radial range r =1.5–12 kpc. We briefly discuss implications of our findings for theories of galactic magnetic fields.  相似文献
