拉萨地体南缘汤白地区广泛分布新生代的辉绿岩脉。为探讨该辉绿岩脉形成时代、岩石成因和地质意义,对其开展了详细的岩相学、地球化学、锆石U-Pb年代学及Hf同位素研究。LA-ICP-MS锆石U-Pb定年结果显示辉绿岩脉的结晶年龄为(54±1)Ma,表明其形成于早始新世。微量元素地球化学特征显示富集大离子亲石元素(LILEs:如Rb、Sr和Ba),亏损高场强元素(HFSEs:如Nb、Ta和Ti)。与典型的弧岩浆岩、区域上叶巴组和桑日岩群中的玄武岩相比具有较高的Nb、TiO_2和Zr含量,在微量元素构造环境判别图解中显示出板内玄武岩地球化学属性。微量元素地球化学特征结合锆石Hf同位素表明岩浆源区除被俯冲板片释放的流体交代的岩石圈富集地幔外,还有软流圈亏损地幔物质加入。汤白辉绿岩脉侵入年龄与区域上林子宗群火山活动峰期接近(52 Ma)。同时结合岩石成因及构造背景,作者认为汤白辉绿岩脉是54~52 Ma新特提斯洋壳断离诱发岩浆作用的产物。根据最新大陆碰撞及板片断离的三维数值模型,暗示了印度板块与欧亚大陆碰撞的起始时间为65 Ma或者更早。  相似文献

Mineral magnetic analysis including thermo-magnetic studies and clay mineralogy on bed load and floodplain sediments from the Godavari river indicate distinct mineral assemblages. The floodplain sediments up to the delta region are characterised by unimodal ferrimagnetic mineralogy marked by the presence of maghemite and single domain magnetites derived from Deccan basalts. On the other hand the bed loads show varied magnetic mineral assemblages depicting greater local mixing from the non-basaltic bedrock province. The temperature dependent magnetic susceptibility and clay mineralogy of the floodplain samples show titanomagnetites (Fe3O4-Fe2TiO4), maghemite (χ LF-Fe2O3) and smectite that are characteristic of the Deccan Volcanic Province (DVP). Presence of this ferrimagnetically dominant unimodal assemblage up to the delta region and probably into the Bay of Bengal off the Godavari river is attributed to extensive chemical weathering of the basalt. The quantitative approach of mineral magnetism, therefore, can be used to study the paleomonsoon variability and its relation to Deccan basalt weathering from the Godavari-Bengal fan system.  相似文献

Temporal stability of magnetic parameters of anthropogenic ferrimagnetics in model soil conditions was studied. Fly ash from a power plant was used as original contaminant material, while soil reactive medium was modeled by different soil solutions. Changes in mass-specific magnetic susceptibility (χ), percentage frequency dependent magnetic susceptibility (χFD%), hysteresis parameters and thermomagnetic curves were measured for samples which underwent different leaching time periods. Virtually constant magnetic susceptibility values were obtained, independently on the soil medium (acid, neutral). On the other hand, the original highly non-stoichiometric maghemite phase rapidly transformed to stable magnetite. In some cases (model of free-draining soils) further decrease of Curie temperature (Tc) to 550–560°C is observed.  相似文献

The Early Cretaceous coal deposits of the Khasyn coalfield are intruded by Palaeogene diabase dikes. The coal has vitrinite reflectance values of 2.0–2.5% Ro, and characteristics of normal anthracite at some distance from the dikes, but at direct contact with the dike two morphological coal varieties occur: coal inclusions in the diabase dike and dispersed carbonaceous matter within the dike rock. Both types of coaly matter have properties typical of anthracites: strong anisotropy, altered internal structure and high vitrinite reflectance values ranging from 3.8 to 5.5% Ro. The X-ray diffraction measurements of the interplanar spacing d(002) and the crystallite sizes Lc and La show rather similar values for coal inclusions in the dike and dispersed carbonaceous matter. The additional reflection at 3.37 Å, corresponding to semi-graphite admixture, occurs in the coal and carbonaceous matter inside the dike and is absent in the natural coal outside the dike.  相似文献

日喀则蛇绿岩位于雅鲁藏布构造带中段,其成因和构造环境仍存在较大争议。日喀则蛇绿岩下部为蛇纹石化地幔橄榄岩,壳幔过渡带缺失超镁铁质堆晶岩。少量辉长岩脉呈块状或韵律结构并侵入到地幔橄榄岩和辉绿岩中。辉绿岩呈席状岩床侵入到地幔橄榄岩之上,且少量辉绿岩脉侵入到下覆的地幔橄榄岩中。通过野外关系和地球化学研究,日喀则辉长岩可能并不是洋壳中岩浆房原位结晶堆积而成,而是深部位置岩浆囊经过不同程度分异演化形成富晶粥岩浆并向上侵入的结果。而席状辉绿岩床则是基性岩浆沿着构造薄弱面顺层侵入的结果。拆离断层可能导致了岩石圈地幔抬升和剥露,进而引起下覆软流圈地幔减压熔融和岩浆上侵。日喀则辉长-辉绿岩形成于慢速扩张脊较小规模的岩浆供应和不连续的岩浆侵入。  相似文献

The Yangbajain geothermal field located in central Tibet is characterized by the highest measured reservoir temperature among all hydrothermal systems in China. The high-temperature geothermal fluid extracted from Yangbajain has been used for electricity generation for over 30 years. The geothermal wastewater generated by the Yangbajain power plants, with arsenic (As) concentrations up to 3.18 mg/L, drains directly into the Zangbo River, the major surface water at Yangbajain, which has elevated arsenic concentrations in the segments downstream of wastewater discharges. However, along the flow direction of the river, the arsenic concentration decreases sharply. Further inspection reveals that the concentrations of weakly bound arsenic, strongly adsorbed arsenic and total arsenic in riverbed sediment were affected by the drainage of geothermal wastewater, indicating that the sediment serves as a sink for geothermal arsenic. A logarithmic relationship between the integrated attenuation coefficients (IAC) for three river segments and the corresponding adsorption distribution coefficients of riverbed sediment samples also suggests that besides the dilution of geothermal arsenic in the Zangbo River, natural attenuation of arsenic may be caused by sorption to riverbed sediment, thereby reducing its health threat to local residents using the Zangbo River as a drinking water source.  相似文献

福建沿海地区晚中生代的花岗岩及火山岩中广泛发育基性、中基性的岩墙群,岩墙群岩性为辉绿岩、角闪辉绿岩和石英闪长岩等,并以角闪辉绿岩为主。采集晋江、同安、湄洲岛等地具有代表性的岩墙样品,选择锆石进行SHRIMPU-Pb定年,测试分析结果表明,它们的同位素年龄都比较接近,都形成于96~87Ma之间,是晚白垩世岩浆活动的产物,它们的形成是中国东南沿海晚中生代活动大陆边缘构造—岩浆活动的最后一幕。  相似文献

The Aznalcóllar tailings dam at Boliden Apirsa's Aznalcóllar/Los Frailes Ag–Cu–Pb–Zn mine 45 km west of Seville, Spain, was breached on 25 April 1998, flooding approximately 4600 hectares of land along the Rı́os Agrio and Guadiamar with approximately 5.5 million m3 of acidic water and 1.3×106 m3 of heavy metal-bearing tailings. Most of the deposited tailings and approximately 4.7×106 m3 of contaminated soils were removed to the Aznalcóllar open pit during clean-up work undertaken immediately after the spill until January 1999. Detailed geomorphological and geochemical surveys of the post-clean-up channel, floodplain and valley floor, and sediment and water sampling, were carried out in January and May 1999 at 6 reaches representative of the types of river channel and floodplain environments in the Rı́o Guadiamar catchment affected by the spill. The collected data show that the clean-up operations removed enough spill-deposited sediment to achieve pre-spill metal (Ag, As, Cd, Cu, Pb, Sb, Tl, Zn) concentrations in surface sediment. These concentrations, however, are still elevated above pre-mining concentrations, and emphasise that mining continues to contaminate the Agrio-Guadiamar river system. Dilution by relatively uncontaminated sediment appears to reduce metal concentrations downstream but increases in metal and As concentrations occur downstream, presumably as a result of factors such as sewage and agriculture. River water samples collected in May 1999 have significantly greater dissolved concentrations of metals and As than those from January 1999, probably due to greater sulphide oxidation from residual tailings with concomitant release of metals in the warmer early summer months. These concentrations are reduced downstream, probably by a combination of dilution and removal of metals by mineral precipitation. Single chemical extractions (de-ionised water, CaCl2 0.01 mol l−1, CH3COONH4 1 M, CH3COONa 1 M and ammonium oxalate 0.2 M) on alluvial samples from reaches 1 and 6, the tailings, pre-spill alluvium and marl have shown that the order of sediment-borne contaminant mobility is generally Zn>Cd>Cu>Pb>As. Pb and As are relatively immobile except possibly under reducing conditions. Much of the highly contaminated sediment remaining in the floodplain and channel still contains a large proportion of tailings-related sulphide minerals which are potentially reactive and may continue to release contaminants to the Agrio–Guadiamar river system. Our work emphasises the need for pre-mining geomorphological and geochemical data, and an assessment of potential contributions of contaminants to river systems from other, non-mining sources.  相似文献

对赣西北三个地区基性岩脉的地质地球化学特征进行了研究,并初步讨论了基性脉岩的成岩方式和源区性质。基性岩脉包括闪斜煌斑岩,辉绿岩和橄榄录玢岩。微量元素相对富集大离子亲石元素,而亏损高场强元素,具有Nb,Ta和Ti异常。武山煌班岩稀土元素总量高,明显富集轻;益口辉绿岩稀土元素总量低,略微富集轻稀土元素,上高橄榄辉绿玢岩介于两者之间,三者都无明显的铕异常,结合基性脉岩的地球化学分析可知,三者的岩石化学变化受到部分熔融和分离结晶所控制,武山煌斑岩和上高橄榄辉绿玢岩明显发生分离结晶作用,而隘口辉绿岩主要受部分熔融作用影响。其源区可能为与俯冲流体有关的富集地幔,有待于进一步研究。  相似文献

A total of 115 urban soil samples collected on grid bases from Al-Karak, South Jordan, were investigated for their field and dual-frequency magnetic susceptibility (χ field, χ d) and heavy metal content using Bartington susceptibility meters and ICP-MS. The upper soils have higher magnetic susceptibility values than lower soils, and large particles contain more heavy metals and higher magnetic susceptibility than smaller particles. This might be attributed to the lack of pedogenesis due to arid climate influence. Within the upper soil all heavy metal showed positive significant correlation with upper soil low-frequency χ dlf. This was evident from the distribution maps produced by Surfer 9.0 for χ dlf and heavy metals. The results showed that higher χ dlf is associated with traffic-dominated sites more than other areas. The frequency-dependent susceptibility (χfd %) falls between 2 and 10 %, which indicate the presence of admixture of fine supermagnetic particles. Mildly correlation exists between χfd % and χ dlf, which implies that soils contain anthropogenic multi-domain grains. Selected samples have been analyzed for their mineral constituents; the results indicate the presence of magnetite as the main magnetic mineral. This confirms the anthropogenic source of pollution mainly from the vehicle-related materials. The results indicate the applicability of magnetic susceptibility for pollution detection.  相似文献

We describe a Pb-Cu-Ba occurrence in Northumberland Island, Northwestern Greenland. Mineralization occupies the brecciated upper contact domain of a Neoproterozoic diabase sill belonging to the Franklin-Thule dike swarm (720–716 Ma), with pyrite-bearing black shales of the Dundas Group, upper Thule Supergroup. The host tholeiitic diabase sill is of different composition (low TiO2 and P2O5) than the locally crosscutting dikes (high TiO2 and P2O5). Chloritization, carbonatization and silicification are intense in proximity to sulfides. Coarse grained, open space-filling galena and minor chalcopyrite are accompanied by 2 generations of calcite and 2 of barite. Galena contains significant amounts of Ag (av. 400 ppm), Sb (av. 700 ppm), Se (av. 20 ppm), traces of Bi, Cd, and Sn. Fluid inclusions in the gangue of the Kiatak occurrence indicate two fluid types. Prior to galena precipitation, a CaCl2-NaCl-rich aqueous brine (~ 20 wt.% eq NaCl) cooled from temperatures > 300 °C and was trapped first in early calcite, and with further cooling, in barite together with solid bitumen inclusions. Following galena crystallization, secondary inclusions containing a similar brine, but of lower salinity, higher Ca:Na ratio, and lower temperature, were trapped in calcite. Corrosion of galena was followed by precipitation of lower temperature (~ 100 °C) barite from a second fluid, comprising immiscible water and CH4. Despite its location in the contact between shale and large mafic sill, the low-temperature mineralization postdates the cooling of the sill, and may be related to basinal fluid circulation controlled by regional extensional faults parallel to diabase dikes. Although uneconomic, the Kiatak occurrence may be witness to a larger metallogenic process that could have formed significant SEDEX type metal concentrations in strata within the Thule Supergroup.  相似文献

The Luxi-Xianrenzhang diabase dikes were emplaced into the eastern part of the Guidong composite granitoids in northern Guangdong Province at the end of the Early Cretaceous. They show tholeiitic features, enrichment in large ion lithophile elements, slight enrichment in light rare earth elements, depletion in Zr and Hf, and basically no depletion in Nb and Ta and no Eu anomaly. They are similar to intraplate basalt in terms of trace element characteristics. They have high εNd(t) values (3.6-4.9), initial ^87Sr/^86Sr ratios (0.70530-70641) and δ^18O values and Dupal anomaly of Pb isotope compositions. Their Sr-Nd, Pb-Sr, Pb-Nd and Pb-Pb isotopes plot between DMM and EMII, with Pb similar to EMII, Nd relatively close to DMM and Sr in between. This profile suggests that the diabase dikes studied were derived from partial melting of a mantle source that had been subjected to metasomatism by fluids originated from a subduction zone under a tectonic environment of crustal extension and lithosphere thinning in the late Yanshanian.  相似文献

Study on the Tectonic Setting for the Ophiolites in Xigaze, Tibet   总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4  
The Xigaze ophiolite is located in the middle section of the Yarlung Zangbo River ophiolite belt and includes a well-preserved sequence section of seven ophiolite blocks. The relatively complete ophiolitic sequence sections are represented by Jiding, Dejixiang, Baigang, and Dazhuqu ophiolites and consist of three–four units. The complete ophiolite sequence in order from the bottom to top consists of mantle peridotite, cumulates, sheeted sill dike swarms, and basic lavas±radiolarian chert. These cumulates are absent in the remaining blocks of Dejixiang and Luqu. The age of radiolaria in the radiolarian chert is Late Jurassic–Cretaceous. The basalt and ultramafic rock of the ophiolite also are overlaid by Tertiary Liuqu conglomerate, which contains numerous pebble components of ophiolite, indicating that the Tethys Ocean began to close at the end of Cretaceous Period. The isotopic data of gabbro, diabase, and albite granite in the Xigaze ophiolite are approximately 126–139 Ma, which indicates that the ophiolite formed in the Early Cretaceous. The K–Ar age of amphibole in garnet amphibolite in the ophiolite mélange is 81 Ma, indicating that tectonic ophiolite emplacement occurred at the end of Late Cretaceous.  相似文献

The Roshtkhar area is located in the Khaf-Kashmar-Bardaskan volcano-plutonic belt to the northeastern Iran along the regional E–W trending Dorouneh Fault, northeastern of the Lut Block. There are several outcrops of subvolcanic rocks occurring mainly as dikes in the area, which intruded into Cenozoic intrusive rocks. We present U–Pb dating of zircons from a diabase dike and syenite rock using LA-ICP-MS that yielded an age of 1778 ± 10 Ma for the dike, indicating this Cenozoic dike has zircon xenocrysts inherited from deeper sources; and 38.0 ± 0.5 Ma, indicating an Late Eocene crystallization age for the syenite. Geochemically, the dikes typical of high-K calc-alkaline to shoshonitic magmas. Petrographic observations and major and trace element variations suggest that diabase melts underwent variable fractionation of clinopyroxene, olivine, and Fe-Ti oxides and minor crustal contamination during the differentiation process. Primitive mantle-normalized multi-element diagrams display enrichment in LILE, such as Rb, Ba, Th, U, and Sr compared to HFSE, as well as negative anomalies of Nb, Ta, P, and Ti, suggesting derivation from subduction-modified mantle. Chondrite-normalized REE plots show moderately LREE enriched patterns (<3.83 LaN/YbN <8.27), and no significant Eu anomalies. Geochemical modelling using Sm/Yb versus La/Yb and La/Sm ratios suggests a low-degree of batch melting (~1–3%) of a phlogopite-spinel peridotite source to generate the mafic dikes. The geochemical signatures suggest that the Roshtkhar mafic dikes cannot be related directly to subduction and likely resulted from melting of upper mantle in an extensional setting where the heat flow was provided from deeper levels. These dikes presumably derived the zircon xenocrysts from the assimilation of upper crust of Gondwanian basement. Processes responsible for partial melting of metasomatized lithospheric mantle and post-collision magmatism in NE Iran was triggered by heating due to asthenospheric upwelling in an extensional setting.  相似文献

在大岗山水电站地下厂房区花岗岩基体(4-12)中贯穿交错有许多走向各异、形态多变、规模不等的辉绿岩脉(),该岩脉群岩体破碎,强度较低,且伴有长大断层沿边界发育,成为整个厂房区显著的构造软弱带,给厂房区开挖支护造成较大的困难和风险。为清晰地了解辉绿岩脉群的发育特征与影响范围,以便更好地指导现场开挖支护,首先对不同高程揭露的岩脉走向、延伸尺寸、形态特征、内部构造及物质组分详细归纳介绍,接着,应用区域地质构造和地质演化规律分析岩脉群侵位及岩浆热液活动的影响过程,最后,基于以上充分的地质调查和演化规律分析,对厂房区揭露的长大岩脉稳定性状况进行了较为合理评估,并提出一些有参考意义的支护建议。此外,还对岩脉群物质组分的分区段特征、蚀变程度与形成先后关联性等问题进行了有益的讨论。  相似文献

Assimilation serves as a significant part in magma's evolution. Because of rapid cooling of ultramafic‐mafic magma, assimilation between mantle‐derived magma and crustal rocks (wall‐rocks) is often neglected. The Beidaihe diabase dikes in North China Craton suggest that assimilation of the rapidly cooled mantle‐derived magma can not be ignored. The diabase dikes are very thin (0.5 to 2 m in width) and discordantly intrude into Ordovician limestone. Center of dyke is porphyritic texture while chilled margin of it is aphanitic texture, suggesting a rapid crystallization process. Moreover, limestone close to the dyke was transformed into marble because of contact‐thermal metamorphism. From the center to margin of the dykes, contents of SiO2 (48.9→ 41.6 wt.%) and MgO (8.3 → 4.0 wt.%) are obviously decreased, but contents of CaO (6.4→8.3 wt.%) and CO2 (0.8 → 5.2 wt.%) are distinctly increased. Meanwhile, calcites in the wall rocks adjacent to and far from the dykes are also greatly different. The calcites close to the dykes have high MgO and FeO contents but low CaO and CO2 contents. All these suggest an assimilation process of the mantle‐derived magma with wall‐rock limestone. Calculating CO2 contents in the dyke and wall rock suggest that the extent of assimilation is thought to reach up to 8 ‐ 12 %. Therefore, when the wall rocks of the mantle‐derived magma are carbonate rocks, its components are obviously influenced by assimilation, although it often rapidly chilled. Simultaneously, this study provides possible explanation for some mantle‐derived rocks in carbonate areas with high LOI.  相似文献

A study of surface sediments from the Anllóns riverbed (northwestern Spain) was conducted to assess the use of their magnetic properties as proxies of recent trace element contamination (i.e., As, Zn, Pb, Cr, Ni and Cu). Thermomagnetic curves, hysteresis parameters, specific magnetic susceptibility χ, frequency-dependent magnetic susceptibility κ FD%, magnetic remanence and saturation isothermal remanent magnetization ratios (i.e., S and SIRM/χ) reveal the presence of mostly fine-grained magnetite and maghemite in these samples. The Tomlinson Pollution Load Index (PLI), as well as the magnetic parameters χ, κ FD%, SIRM/χ and S-ratios, vary more or less in agreement to each other when they are sequentially arranged throughout a 30-km-long transect that goes from the town of Carballo to the river mouth in Ponteceso. From that profile, it is possible to identify an anomaly of χ that lies between two small peaks of the PLI and seems to define a contaminated area probably linked to a diffuse low-impact source of pollution. There is also a conspicuous peak of the PLI that is likely associated to a nearby gold mine. The variations of the κ FD%’s along the transect are the ones that best reflect the changes in the PLI values, regardless of the level of contamination. This result suggests that adsorption is the main mechanism of trace elements removal by Fe oxides in these samples. Direct signal analyses, used to decompose the isothermal remanent magnetization curves, reveal the presence of four magnetic fractions, with varying relative concentrations all over the profile, namely single-domain magnetite, close to the superparamagnetic threshold (SD/SP) and/or maghemite (\(\log B_{1/2}\) ca 1.2), single-domain magnetite (\(\log B_{1/2}\) ca 2), hematite (\(\log B_{1/2}\) ca 2.5) and goethite (\(\log B_{1/2}\) ca 3.5). Integrating all the available information, it was sketched out a likely sequence of events that included magnetic minerals neoformation in parent soils, their subsequent chemical transformations and the contamination episodes that affected the region.  相似文献

The Mesozoic diabase dikes of Liberia are tholeiites whose 87Sr/86Sr and 87Rb/86Sr ratios scatter widely on the Rb-Sr isochron diagram. The problem is attributed to differences in the initial 87Sr/86Sr ratios of these rocks which range from 0.70311 to 0.70792, assuming a uniform age of 186 Ma for the dikes and using (87Rb)=1.42 × 10–11y–1. The range of values is similar to that observed in the Mesozoic basalt flows and dikes of other Gondwana continents.New whole-rock K-Ar dates confirm previous conclusions that the diabase dikes in the Liberian and Pan-African age provinces of Liberia absorbed extraneous 40Ar after intrusion. Only the dikes in the Paynesville Sandstone have K-Ar dates that range from 117 Ma to 201 Ma and may not contain extraneous 40Ar. However, dikes from all three age provinces of Liberia have elevated initial 87Sr/86Sr ratios. These results indicate that contamination with radiogenic 87Sr occurred primarily before intrusion of the magma whereas the addition of extraneous 40Ar occurred after emplacement and reflects the age and mineral composition of the country rock.The 18O values of the Liberian diabase range from +5.6/% to +9.10/% and correlate positively with initial 87Sr/86Sr ratios. The data can be modeled by fractional crystallization and simultaneous assimilation of crustal rocks by the magma. However, samples containing amphibole and biotite replacing pyroxene deviate from the Sr-O isotope trajectories of the model and appear to have been depleted in 18O and enriched in 87Sr by interactions with groundwater at high temperature.Laboratory for Isotope Geology and Geochemistry Contribution No. 76  相似文献

The Cihai iron skarn deposit is located in the southern part of the eastern Tianshan, Xinjiang, northwestern China. The major iron orebodies are banded and nearly parallel to each other. The iron ores are hosted in an early diabase dike and in skarn. Post-ore diabase dikes cut the iron ores and their hosting diabase. Hydrothermal activity can be divided into four stages based on geological and petrographic observations: initial K–Na alteration (stage I), skarn-minor magnetite event (II), retrograde skarn-magnetite main ore event (III), and quartz–calcite–sulfide veining (IV). Zircon U–Pb dating yields ages of 286.5 ± 1.8 Ma for early diabase and 275.8 ± 2.2 Ma for post-ore diabase dikes. Amphibole separated from massive magnetite ore gives a 40Ar–39Ar plateau age of 281.9 ± 2.2 Ma and is the time of ore formation. Formation of the Cihai iron deposit is closely related to post-collisional magmatism and associated Cu–Ni–Au polymetallic mineralization in the eastern Tianshan.  相似文献
