地理综合研究与陆地系统科学——祝黄秉维院士八十五寿辰 总被引：1，自引：0，他引：1
黄秉维先生始终坚持认为,“没有综合性地理研究,地理学便失其存在的依据”,“综合研究是发展自然地理学最主要的方向,同时也是带动部门自然地理学最有效的途径”.综合研究包括现代过程和历史形成这两个互相关联、互相补充的方面,为此60年代他提出自然地理研究的3个方向,实际上是地理学在自然环境层次上的综合。近年来,黄秉维先生提出的“陆地系统科学与区域可持续发展战略研究”,是在新形势下,他一贯主张的地理综合研究思想的继续与发展。他强调综合研究的重要性,指出只有跨学科研究才是综合研究;为了协调人地关系,仅仅有自然方面的综合是不够的,还需要进行社会经济方面的综合和自然与社会经济方面的跨学科研究。 相似文献

黄秉维先生是在建国以后至1980 年代末的近40 年间中国科学院地理研究所和中国地理学会的领导人。黄先生在1980 年代后期至他去世前的十多年间对我国地理学发展方向有深刻思考及其高屋建瓴的论述。黄秉维先生对我国地理学发展的思考和论述有重要三点:其一, 关于地理学方向:强调自然地理学和人文地理学的合作, 特别是要对国家建设做科学研究, 解决国家面临的可持续发展问题。其二, 强调微观研究, 1950-1960 年代他在提出自然地理学的三个新方向基础上, 指导了1980 年代试验站的建设和实验地理学的发展。其三, 强调我国地理学要特别注意开展环境变化领域的研究。 相似文献

2000年12月8日,中国现代地理学的开拓者、国际著名的地理学家黄秉维先生驾鹤西去,与世长辞。这是中国地理学界和中国科学院地理科学与资源研究所无法弥补的巨大损失。黄秉维先生在地理学的科学园地中辛勤耕耘了71个春秋。自20世纪50年代起,黄秉维先生曾经长期担任中国科学院地理研究所和中国地理学会的领导职务,在发展和繁荣中国现代地理学事业的进程中,黄秉维先生禅精竭虑,成就卓著。他在中国自然区划研究、土壤侵蚀与保持研究、地表热量和水分平衡研究、农业自然生产潜力研究、坡地利用与改良研究、全球环境变化研究等方面所取得的成就,是我国现代地理学的辉煌篇章。 相似文献

Desertification is a global phenomenon that affects about two billion people. It occurs in arid zones where the annual precipitation is below 400 mm, partic- ularly in the marginal areas of the world＇s largest deserts. It is a result of water and wind erosion, over- grazing, global warm-ing, improper soil cultivation, and increased pressure ot population growth, and it causes degradation of soil and natural and agricultural vegetation. The direct result is less food for people and livestock, which influences pop- ulation and animal husbandry fluctuations. Despite ef- forts to combat and reduce desertification, the affected areas are annually increasing. 相似文献
