The capability of SODAR to measure the mean wind field in the lower boundary layer is well known and documented. Therefore, mean wind data are easily obtainable by means of the SODAR-technique, and are used to simulate the transport of pollutants after their release into the atmosphere. But when calculating the diffusion of pollutants, information about atmospheric turbulence is needed, too. In principle, a SODAR can measure turbulence data like the standard deviation of the vertical wind speed or horizontal wind direction. But when measuring turbulence data with a SODAR, one is beset by a host of limitations like volume sampling, spatial and temporal separation of sampling volume, attenuation of the acoustic waves and the slow speed of sound. Therefore, successful turbulence measurements with SODAR are not numerous and little is known about the quality of these data. In this context an intercomparison between a REMTECH-SODAR and a sonic anemometer mounted at the 100 m level of our meteorological tower was performed in summer 1990 at the Kernforschungszentrum Karlsruhe. The intercomparison is in two parts:
  1. Half hour mean values of the standard deviation of the vertical wind speed are intercompared by scatter plots and by a linear regression and correlation analysis.
  2. During 7 periods, 2 hours each, and covering atmospheric stabilities from unstable to slightly stable, the instantaneous vertical wind speeds were measured by both instruments and spectra were calculated.
The intercomparison demonstrates that DOPPLER-SODAR sounding is a reliable technique to determine besides the mean field, also athmospheric turbulence data like Sigma(w).  相似文献

2001年1月5~12日,2月21日~3月1日两次在北京方庄居住小区内进行了大气污染物(二氧化硫、氮氧化物)与气象要素垂直探测,历时16天.共获取了83次(一天8次)边界层垂直温、压、湿、风连续的探空资料以及不同高度(地面、100m、500m)逐时大气污染物浓度监测数据306个.该文分析了低空风日变化规律、时空分布规律、边界层气象条件对污染物垂直分布影响等等;并对1月12日、2月27日两天高浓度污染目的天气特征、温度层结和低空风以及2月25~26日出现100m浓度值高于地面现象都进行了详细分析.观测结果对于了解和研究北京地区冬季低层空气中环境化学污染物质在空中的垂直分布情况及随时间变化规律具有重要的参考价值.  相似文献

利用2015年1月15—27日在苏州东山气象观测站系留气艇观测数据以及细颗粒物浓度观测资料,对东山大气边界层结构特征及其对污染物垂直结构分布的影响进行分析研究。结果表明:苏州东山地区冬季空气污染过程的边界层结构演变比较典型,夜间稳定边界层高度约为200 m,白天最大边界层高度可达1 000 m。边界层内污染物垂直结构分布易受边界层高度的影响,较低的大气边界层高度可使细颗粒物在近地层持续累积;反之,边界层高度较高,湍流发展旺盛,颗粒物垂直分布均匀。夜间大气边界层稳定,逆温结构多发,导致近地面出现细颗粒物堆积。风的垂直结构对细颗粒物空间分布也存在显著影响,在风速较小的低空层细颗粒分布较多,而风速较大的中高层的分布较少。   相似文献

The calculated aeroclimatic characteristics of the lower 1000-m atmospheric layer needed to study the conditions for the atmospheric diffusion of pollutants are considered. The measurements of temperature profiles with the MTP-5 microwave temperature profiler and the data of weather balloon observations on wind speed and wind direction from the special meteorological station located at the Leningrad NPP-2 (LNPP-2) construction site are used as initial data. The characteristics of the vertical distribution of temperature and wind obtained from the observations in the LNPP-2 construction area and at the Voeikovo upper-air network station are compared.  相似文献

将人为热排放纳入到已耦合城市模块Urban Canopy Model(UCM)的中尺度气象模式Weather Research and Forecasting(WRF)中,探讨了人为热排放对于北京地区精细化模拟的重要意义,其影响主要体现在以下几个方面:1)可有效改善气象要素的模拟效果,特别是对于大气边界层高度的显著性改善,该变量是控制空气质量模式中污染物垂直扩散的关键因子;2)可较好地再现城区流场及温度场,使热岛强度和中心配置更接近实况;3)可明显改善数值模式对于污染物垂直分布特征的模拟。  相似文献

针对太行山东部地区2008年4月出现的2次酸雨天气过程,利用表征大气热力和动力学物理量对其进行分析,结果表明:弱酸雨天气太行山区为强盛的上升运动所控制,上升运动可达200 hPa,致酸污染物可通过垂直运动向外扩散。强酸雨天气中低层为下沉运动,抑制了污染物的扩散。强酸雨区域处于850 hPa全风速的最大值轴线的右前方,该处为下沉气流控制,不利于致酸污染物的扩散。两次酸雨过程低层均为对流性不稳定,但强酸雨日假相当位温垂直变率明显小于弱酸雨日垂直变率,且中高层与弱酸雨日相比为稳定性层结。  相似文献

采用2002-2011年大气污染物的现状监测资料以及同期气象观测资料,分析西安市空气污染的时空分布特征及其与气象条件的关系,并探讨了空气质量为优及轻微污染以上的天气事件对应的高空典型环流形势,研究污染成因及污染物传输规律。结果表明:西安市污染较为严重的污染物为PM10,较大浓度值出现在冬季采暖期,雨水能够对污染物起到有效的湿清除作用,且空气质量状况具有明显的延续性,天气系统具有延续性是造成空气质量的延续性的可能原因;逆温的存在、最大混合层高度的降低造成大气层结稳定,风速较小,阻碍空气的对流运动,使污染物在垂直方向上的扩散能力很弱,不利于污染物扩散,易造成环境空气质量下降引起空气污染的发生。  相似文献

利用气象与环境监测数据,结合后向轨迹和秸秆焚烧火点监测资料,从环流形势、气象要素、污染源和污染传输特征等方面,对哈尔滨2017年10月18-20日持续性重污染天气过程进行分析。结果表明:这次重污染过程连续48 h为重度或严重污染,首要颗粒物为PM2.5,PM2.5平均浓度为438 μg·m-3,局地PM2.5浓度高达1487 μg·m-3。重污染过程分为两个阶段,每个阶段主要污染物呈双峰分布。在重污染过程中,高空环流平直,浅槽前暖平流占主导地位,地面为弱低压均压场控制。地面风速小,平均风速仅为1.5 m·s-1,风速≤ 1.5 m·s-1静小风频率为71%,风场辐合,有利于污染物积聚。在重污染发展的过程中,地面相对湿度(RH)增大有利于颗粒物吸湿增长和污染加剧;在重污染减弱的过程中,PM2.5浓度减少至每阶段谷值时间比RH减小至谷值时间滞后4-5 h。在边界层内有逆温层顶高为200 m左右、逆温强度>2.0℃·(100 m)-1的贴地逆温层,层结稳定,垂直扩散条件差。污染物主要来源于秸秆焚烧,其次来源于取暖燃煤。静稳气象条件下本地污染物积累叠加远距离较高浓度的秸秆焚烧污染物输送导致哈尔滨这次重污染过程。  相似文献

本文利用2017年彭州市大气污染物(SO2、NO2、O3、CO、PM10、PM2.5)小时浓度数据并结合地面气象观测资料,统计分析了该地区大气污染物浓度的演变规律及影响因素。结果表明:该地区细粒子(PM10和PM2.5)污染较为严重,O3次之,其它污染物浓度水平则低于国家新二级标准限值。观测期间,各污染物浓度表现出明显的日变化与季节变化,其中SO2、O3呈单峰型日变化,NO2、CO和细粒子则呈双峰型日变化;污染物浓度的季节变化基本表现为冬高夏低、春秋次之的变化特征(O3为夏高冬低),并且固态污染物(PM10、PM2.5)与气态污染物(NO2、CO)之间有显著的相关性。在污染物浓度与气象要素相关性分析中表明,湿度对于污染物浓度的影响整体上要弱于温度和风速,除了O3与温度、风速呈正相关外,其它污染物与两者均呈负相关。除此以外,风向对于当地各种大气污染物的积累与清除也有直接的影响。   相似文献

为研究机动车辆排出的污染物在大气中的扩散规律,在北京做了小风条件下的街谷示踪试验。当楼顶风速u接近或大于1米/秒时,街谷内可形成一稳定的原生涡;u<0.6米/秒时原生涡将消失。对于楼之间空间较小的街谷,背风面和迎风面的示踪剂浓度平均比值可达8。浓度值沿楼层高度无明显变化;由于快车路旁松墙的阻挡和抬升作用,可能造成沿高度方向楼层中段的浓度偏高。在街谷外,除下风方路面上有一按下风距离的负幂指数衰减的浓度分布外,上风方路面上也有一按较大负幂指数衰减的分布。根据上述试验,给出了用以预测街谷中机动车辆排出的惰性气体污染物的扩散模式;模式中,对原生涡和小尺度湍流,做了分别处理。  相似文献

利用空气质量监测资料、高空和地面气象观测资料、NCEP再分析资料,对达州市2016年元旦节期间重污染天气过程特征及气象条件进行分析。结果表明:达州市此次重污染天气过程为长时间无冷空气活动,无降雨,大气污染物不断积聚形成。AQI日变化受污染源排放情况影响更大,早上低,白天逐渐增加,天黑后达到峰值。大气污染物的积累一般发生大气稳定度为中性或以上。AQI与08时和17时混合层厚度负相关,但日平均混合层厚度与AQI没有通过相关性检验。重污染时近地面有逆温层且逆温层较厚。AQI与逐日最高气温、日平均风速和日最大风速正相关,降雨对大气污染物稀释作用明显,特别是降雨持续时间长,雨量大效果更为显著。AQI逐时变化与温度正相关,与风速负相关。   相似文献

在简述大气风廓线仪和电声探测系统结构及探测原理的基础上, 对廓线仪探测资料与同步探空仪资料进行了对比, 验证了风廓线仪资料的可信度, 并应用风廓线资料分析了梅雨锋期间中尺度降水的对流特征和相关问题。结果表明:大气风廓线仪对水平风的垂直结构有较强的探测能力, 能实时监测中尺度降水期间风的垂直切变和对流特征, 有助于提高临近天气预报的精度, 准确预报降水。  相似文献

Breakdowns of stability in the PBL are examined using one-minute average horizontal wind speeds and temperatures observed over many nights at stations located in simple and complex terrain. The analysis is based on the temporal behavior of the wind speed-temperature covariance, which is obtained by digital bandpass filtering. It is shown that breakdowns are a common feature of the stable PBL over both simple and complex environments. Vertical fluxes of heat during breakdowns are estimated to be a significant fraction of the nighttime average heat flux. It is hypothesized that a major portion of the nighttime vertical transfer of heat, momentum, and atmospheric pollutants occurs during periods of stability breakdowns.  相似文献

2013年1月10-14日,北京平原地区出现了水平能见度在2 km以下、以PM2.5为首要污染物、空气质量持续5 d维持在重度以上污染水平的霾天气。综合分析此次霾天气过程的天气形势、北京地区常规和加密气象资料以及城郊连续观测的PM2.5浓度资料。结果表明:此霾过程期间,北京高空以平直纬向环流为主,受西北偏西气流控制,没有明显冷空气南下影响北京地区,地面多为不利于污染物扩散和稀释的弱气压场;大气层结稳定、风速小(日平均风速小于2 m·s-1)、相对湿度较大(日平均相对湿度在70 %以上)、逆温频率高强度大,边界层内污染物的水平和垂直扩散能力差;北京城区及南部的京津冀地区人类活动排放污染物强度大,在相对稳定和高湿的天气背景下,受地形和城市局地环流的影响,北京本地污染物累积和区域污染物输送以及PM2.5细粒子在高湿条件下的物理化学转化等过程共同作用造成此次北京城区及平原地区污染物浓度快速增长并持续偏高,高浓度PM2.5对大气消光有显著影响,造成低能见度和持续霾天气。  相似文献

In the present paper the numerical integration of the atmospheric thermodynamic equation system is carried out to simulate the flow and concentration fields over a two-dimensional mountain. The concentration distri-butions from a continuous elevated release point at different positions on the lee-side under a variety of atmos-pheric stabilities are calculated to examine the effects of topography on the diffusion of pollutants. The comparison between the results calculated by the model and those observed in field experiments indicates that the model can predict the transport and diffusion of pollutants under different atmospheric conditions over complex terrain and may become an applicable tool for solving the air quality problems in mountain areas.  相似文献

Horizontal wind measured by wind profiling radar (WPR) is based on uniform wind assumption in volume of lateral beam. However, this assumption cannot completely meet in the real atmosphere. The subject of this work is to analyze the influence of atmospheric inhomogeneities for wind measurement. Five-beam WPR can measure two groups of horizontal wind components U and V independently, using the difference of horizontal wind components U and V can evaluate the influence of the inhomogeneity of the atmospheric motion on wind measurement. The influences can be divided into both inhomogeneous distribution of horizontal motion and vertical motion. Based on wind measurements and meteorological background information, a new means of coordinate rotation the two kinds of inhomogeneous factor was separated, and the impact in different weather background was discussed. From analysis of the wind measured by type of PB-II WPR (445MHz) during 2012 at Yanqing of Beijing, it is shown that the inhomogeneity of horizontal motion is nearly the same in U and V direction. Both the inhomogeneities of horizontal motion and vertical motion have influence on wind measurement, and the degrees of both influences are associated with changes of wind speed. In clear air, inhomogeneity of horizontal motion is the main influence on wind measurement because of small vertical velocity. In precipitation, the two influences are larger than that in clear air.  相似文献

Mathematical models that can properly predict dispersion and transport ofatmospheric pollutants are an essential element in the development of warningand control strategies. Proper forecasts of atmospheric boundary-layer heightand its vertical mean wind speed provide a basis for predictions of air-pollutionconcentrations under meteorological conditions that vary horizontally, vertically,and temporally.A prognostic model is developed to predict the ventilation factor using forecast valuesof meteorological elements normally provided from meteorological agencies, in addition to specifications of terrain. Therefore, the ventilation factor and concentrations of pollutants could be predicted. Subsequent to the dependence of the present method on easily obtainable data, it avoids the non-generality and uncertainty followed from the application of some empirical relations. Even more, the method seems to provide high accuracy in validity tests.  相似文献

利用ISC3模型模拟了某电厂不同高度烟囱在不同风速、不同稳定度情况下SO2的最大落地浓度和落地距离。结果表明:在烟囱高度不变的情况下,稳定度不变,如果风速逐渐加大,则SO2最大落地浓度变小,且最大落地距离亦变小;烟囱高度不变且风速不变情况下,稳定度由稳定趋向于不稳定,则SO2最大浓度变小且最大落地距离变小;在风速和稳定度不变的条件下,随着烟囱高度的减小,SO2最大浓度变大且最大落地距离不变;在建烟囱最高高度不宜超过300 m。  相似文献

Atmospheric pollutants are controlled not only by their production rates but also by meteorological conditions. The influences of dust storm, sauna weather (haze with high temperature and high humidity), wet precipitation and wind speed on atmospheric carbonyls in Beijing were investigated. During a severe dust episode (April 17, 2006), the mixing ratios of carbonyls were significantly elevated to 13–27 ppbV from 7 to 13 ppbV in the previous non-dust days (April 15 and 16) with the increasing extents of 38–154%. The accumulating effect and the lower photolysis rate in the dust day may be responsible for the increases of carbonyls' levels. Additionally, the contribution from heterogeneous reactions occurring on dust particles to formaldehyde and acetaldehyde cannot be ruled out. During the period of typical sauna weather, the concentrations of atmospheric carbonyls increased to 18–60 ppbV from 10 to 17 ppbV before the sauna days. The air mass over Beijing during the sauna days was controlled by a subtropical anticyclone and the boundary layer became quite stable, which was beneficial to the rapid accumulation of air pollutants including carbonyls. Wet precipitation was found to be an effective removal process to the atmospheric carbonyls. After one-hour of rain in summer, the total concentrations of atmospheric carbonyls decreased to less than half of that before the rainfall. The similar temporal varying patterns of carbonyls and inorganic ions in rainwater indicated that carbonyls were mainly washed out from the atmosphere into rainwater as inorganic ions were. Strong wind could evidently dilute atmospheric carbonyls and a negative correlation was found between wind speeds and the concentrations of carbonyls in spring in Beijing.  相似文献
