The orbits of planetcrossing asteroids (and comets) can undergo close approaches and collisions with some major planet. This introduces a singularity in the Nbody Hamiltonian, and the averaging of the equations of motion, traditionally used to compute secular perturbations, is undefined. We show that it is possible to define in a rigorous way some generalised averaged equations of motion, in such a way that the generalised solutions are unique and piecewise smooth. This is obtained, both in the planar and in the threedimensional case, by means of the method of extraction of the singularities by Kantorovich. The modified distance used to approximate the singularity is the one used by Wetherill in his method to compute probability of collision. Some examples of averaged dynamics have been computed; a systematic exploration of the averaged phase space to locate the secular resonances should be the next step.'Alice sighed wearily. The exact solutions for the equilibrium of rotating gaseous disk with poloidal magnetic field are obtained. The stability of the disk with respect to uniform expansion and contraction is investigated by means of the variational principle. It is shown that if the equilibrium is determined by gravitational and magnetic forces only, the disk is in neutral equilibrium with respect to perturbations of the form r=r. The instability to short-waves perturbations is studied by the quasi-classical method. The analysis shows that if the magnetic field isH>2G, where is the surface density, then these perturbations are stabilized. The configurations of the electrical field induced by the rotation of magnetized disk are found. In conclusion, the questions of the evolution of the disk are discussed in connection with the quasar model when pulsar-like radiation is taken into account.

The complete analysis of possible types of non-relativistic and ultra-relativistic motions in the field of the naked singularity of the STGT is given. The problem of the infall of a monochromatic radiation emitter on the naked singularity is studied. In spite of the absence of a freezing effect in the STGT, the naked singularity is not observable, for the brightness of the falling emitter decreases much faster than in the GTR. Atrr g , the trajectory of particles and light are quite similar to that of the GTR, and due to this fact the naked singularity is observationally indistinguishable from a black hole.  相似文献

This paper is a continuation and a generalization of one published earlier (Duboshin, 1969): it discusses the problem whether there exist the Lagrangian and the Eulerian solutions of the generalized three-body (material points) problem. Every point in this generalized problem acts on another, one with a force (attractive or repulsive) directed along the straight line passing through these points, and in an arbitrary manner depending on time, mutual distance and its derivatives, the first and the second. Here, generally speaking, the third axiom of dynamics (law of action and reaction) is not presupposed as fulfilled, that is, it is supposed that every two material points interact in a different way.This most general assumption being made, we establish the conditions which must dictate the laws of the interactions, so that the three points can always remain at the apexes of the equilateral triangle (Langrangian solution), or remain always on a straight line (Eulerian solution).The author believes that such general treatment of the three-body problem can be useful for theoretical studies in celestial mechanics and also for practical applications in the study of isolated stellar systems.

The paper suggests an explanation of the deviations from the power law which are observed in frequency spectra of discrete radio sources at decametric wavelengths. It has been shown that a possible mechanism of the deviations is a combined effect of the stimulated and spontaneous scattering of relativistic electrons in the turbulent plasma of a source, as well as ionization energy losses thereof. The distribution function of the relativistic electrons, empirically established in an earlier paper (Braudeet al., 1971) has been derived from the kinetic equation. For a number of discrete sources the turbulence energy density and the plasma concentration are deduced with the aid of experimental data on low-frequency radio spectra.

The conditions of stability of the constant libration solutions of the general three-bodies problem obtained by E. Routh through investigation of the linearized perturbed motion equations are analised. To the values of the masses of the three bodies which satisfy boundary conditions of the region of stability the locus of all corresponding centers of masses is laid down in accordance with. It occurs that this locus is a circle, its centre coinciding with the geometric centre of the trianglem 1, m2, m3 and its radius being a function of exponent in the law of attraction of the bodies. The motion may be stable only if the centre of masses of the bodies lies outside the circle mentioned above. In the case of the Newtonian law of attraction the radius of this circle equals 0,943 |rmax| where |rmax| is a distance of the vertex from the centre of the trianglem 1, m2, m3. Thus stability is possible (if it is generally possible) inside a very small region in this case.

Exact corotations are equilibrium points in the phase space of the asteroidal elliptic restricted problem of three bodies averaged over the synodic period, at a mean-motions resonance. If the resonant critical angle is =(p+q) jup pq, exact corotations are double resonant motions defined by the conditionsd/dt=0 andd(– jup )/dt=0. The first condition is characteristic of the periods resonance(p + q) : p and the second one is a secular resonance equivalent to that usually known as thev 5-resonance. This paper presents the symmetric solutions =0 (mod ), = jup (mod ). Corotations have a coherence property which is unique in non-collisional Celestial Mechanics: An elementary calculation shows that, in the neighbourhood of these solutions, the motions cluster aroundp independent longitude values and are, in each cluster, as close together as and are close to the equilibrium values.  相似文献

It is shown that escaping of solar flare energetic protons into interplanetary space as well as their relation to the flare gamma-ray emission depend on the parameter = 8p/B 0 2 , where p is the pressure of hot plasma and energetic particles and B 0 is the magnetic field in a flaring loop. If 1, the bulk of the energetic protons escape to the loss cone because of diffusion due to small-scale Alfvén-wave turbulence, and precipitate into the footpoints of the flaring loop. The flare then produces intense gamma-ray line emission and a weak flux of high energy protons in interplanetary space. If >*0.3-1.0, then fast eruption of hot plasma and energetic particles out of the flaring loop occurs, this being due to the flute instability or magnetic-field-plasma nonequilibrium. The flare then produces a comparatively weak gamma-radiation and rather intense proton fluxes in interplanetary space. We predict a modulation of the solar flare gamma-ray line emission with a period 1 s during the impulsive phase that is due to the MHD-oscillations of the energy release volume. The time lag of the gamma-ray peaks with respect to the hard X-ray peaks during a simultaneous acceleration of electrons and protons can be understood in terms of strong diffusion.  相似文献
