北京地区云蒙山变质核杂岩在白垩纪阶段抬升的早期,伴随着沿四合堂剪切带由北向南的拆离滑脱和大型花岗闪长岩的垂向侵位,晚期变形发生在花岗闪长岩岩基周边及其邻近围岩中,形成云蒙山剪切带,并伴随大量同构造的花岗岩和伟晶岩岩脉灌入。剪切带中所有的岩脉都随时间发生了不同程度的变形,较老的岩脉形成紧闭的圆柱状褶皱,枢纽与剪切带的线理和面理接近平行。岩脉与剪切带中L-S组构的平行化作用主要是由于这种转动的结果。岩脉的成分和长英指数随它们的变形程度发生变化,说明持续的岩浆分异作用与韧性剪切变形是同时发生的。云蒙山剪切带由岩浆底辟引起的上盘岩石重力所驱动,并不断得到同构造侵位岩脉的补充,起到存储和不断改造侵位岩脉的作用。早期伸展体制下形成的四合堂剪切带局部遭受云蒙山剪切带的改造或复合。该地区的岩石、构造和同构造岩脉的变形几何学和运动学证据表明,太古宙结晶基底的抬升是下部岩浆底辟与上部地壳伸展拆离共同作用的结果。  相似文献

详细的野外和室内宏观及微观构造分析和有限应变测量结果表明,自中生代以来,本区至少经历了两期变形,即早期的收缩为及后期的伸展反应,收缩应变主要表现为滑脱--逆冲推覆作用,具有显著的构造层次性,自中、下构造怪次至上支次依次表现为:基底与盖层之间以角闪石及长石碎斑为主的糜棱岩为特征的韧性滑脱剪切罗系之上的逆冲推覆构造;在该构造2剪切主上部盖层中的寒武系,石炭系等逆冲于侏罗系之上的逆冲推覆构造;在该构造变形过程中伴随有强烈的岩浆活动,表明当时的区域热流值较高。伸展应变及同时发生的基底隆升作用,主要表现为基底和盖层中的韧性正剪切带及大量的正断层,基底中大量的NNE向张性白垩纪花岗斑岩脉及区域性的NNE向白垩纪盆地的形成都和本期构造活动相关。辽南地壳基底中大量的沿糜棱面理发育的长英质岩脉表明剪切变形过程中具有局部熔融作用的发生。对长英质岩脉经流体包裹体成分测试表明主要成分为分子水。在野外对长英质脉体的研究表明至少有两期:形成与滑脱作用有关的长英质脉体为含钾长石少、斜长石多、白色;而和伸展应变有关的长英质脉体钾长石含量明显增大,呈红色。两种长英质脉的褶皱变形反映了各自的变形机制。剪切作用过程中发生的动态局部熔融作用,具有自反馈的自组织特征,从而使长英质脉体在糜棱岩中呈现出韵律分布特征。辽南地壳在较短的时间内发生从收缩应变向伸展应变的转化。原因可能为收缩应变导致地壳显著缩短和增厚,并且同期的花岗岩浆的活动表明滑脱作用过程中莫霍面的初始温度较高并且区域热流值亦较高。这种地壳及其热状态的不均衡,导致地壳在较短的时间内发生基底的隆升及相伴随的伸展作用。  相似文献

Quartz vein systems developed in and adjacent to shear zones host major gold deposits in the Kambalda region of the Norseman–Wiluna greenstone belt. At the Revenge Mine, two groups of mineralised reverse shear zones formed as conjugate, near-optimally oriented sets during ESE subhorizontal shortening adjacent to a major transpressional shear system. The shear zones developed at temperatures of about 400°C in a transitional brittle–ductile regime. Deformation was associated with high fluid fluxes and involved fault-valve behaviour at transiently near-lithostatic fluid pressures. During progressive evolution of the shear system, early brittle and ductile deformation was overprinted by predominantly brittle deformation. Brittle shear failure was associated with fault dilation and the formation of fault-fill veins, particularly at fault bends and jogs. A transition from predominantly brittle shear failure to combined shear along faults and extension failure adjacent to faults occurred late during shear zone evolution and is interpreted as a response to a progressive decrease in maximum shear stress and a decrease in effective stresses. The formation of subhorizontal stylolites, locally subvertical extension veins and minor normal faults in association with thrust faulting, indicates episodic or transient reorientation of the near-field maximum principal stress from a subhorizontal to a near-vertical attitude during some fault-valve cycles. Local stress re-orientation is interpreted as resulting from near-total shear stress release and overshoot during some rupture events. Previously described fault-valve systems have formed predominantly in severely misoriented faults. The shear systems at Revenge Mine indicate that fault-valve action, and associated fluctuations in shear stress and fluid pressure, can influence the mechanical behaviour of optimally-oriented faults.  相似文献

Mesoscopic structures in anchimetamorphic (T = 200–300°C) strata of the Pulaski thrust sheet, Southern Appalachian thrust belt, developed in progressive, heterogeneous simple shear near the ductile-to-brittle transition. Shear (γ≤3) was localized in weak, anisotropic pelitic rocks (Rome Formation) along the base of this 5–11 km thick thrust sheet. Folds, which vary from upright and open to isoclinal and NW-facing, developed during ductile shearing and display a correlation between tightness and axial-surface dip. Movement along brecciated thrust zones, which evolved progressively from zones of greatest ductile strain, resulted in low-angle truncation of fold axis trends, coaxial refolding of earlier structures, and imbrication of the thrust sheet.Transient variations in fluid pressure (Pf) controlled the mechanical behavior of the thrust sheet. Systematic veins imply Pf >σ3 + T (T = tensile strength) during ductile deformation, whereas later non-systematic vein arrays in high strain zones record periods of nearly hydrostatic stress. Elevated Pf, which led to fracturing, dilation, and fault initiation, appears confined to pelitic zones within the Rome Formation. This, coupled with decreasing temperature, resulted in the transition from ductile folding to brittle thrusting. Changing physical conditions probably reflect erosional unroofing during uplift and late Paleozoic thrust sheet emplacement.  相似文献

主要由钙碱性火山岩、火山碎屑岩组成的博格达古岛弧是天山缝合造山带的重要组成部分 ,是一个发育较成熟的山链 ,其演化经历了晚古生代的韧性剪切收缩 ;中生代伸展调整及新生代再造山过程。晚古生代的造山活动在博格达山有很好的地质记录 ,并以显著的韧性剪切变形带的形成和发育同造山的褶皱构造为特点。剪切变形带内同构造的石英脉中的锆石U PbSHRIMP测年结果与山链中花岗岩、辉长岩年龄颇为一致 (311~ 316Ma) ,这个年龄反映在结束洋盆散聚、碰撞焊接的晚华力西期造山过程中 ,博格达古岛弧内存在一次虽不甚强烈 ,但又较为明显的构造岩浆事件 ,其成因可能与引起石炭纪大规模裂陆式喷发的深部断裂构造重新活动有关。  相似文献

Total strain patterns estimated across the Pulaski thrust sheet of the southwest Virginia Appalachians show an approximately homogeneous, plane strain deformation associated with folding and distortion above a subsurface décollement. Estimated strains are low (1.2 < < 2.0) with a subvertical extension. Chlorite fibers in pressure fringes on framboidal pyrite indicate that non-rotational deformation produced weak cleavage and pencil structure in mudrock. Variations in shape of pencils and fiber lengths in pressure fringes define highest strains in fold hinges and adjacent to contraction faults. Fabric transitions, delineated by distribution and intensity of cleavage, pencil structure and bedding fissility across the thrust sheet are strain dependent. Balanced cross-sections suggest 35% horizontal shortening due to regional folding and faulting within the Pulaski sheet. Strain integration techniques give 17–35% horizontal shortening associated with cleavage formation. Removal of this strain indicates that cleavage was superposed on open to tight, class-3 folds. Pre-existing thickness variations and anomalous low strains in tight folds require early folding accomodated by intergranular deformation (perhaps controlled grainboundary sliding). Suppression of cleavage formation and penetrative strain was possibly due to higher pore fluid pressure in the early stages of thrust sheet deformation. Observed variations in bedding-cleavage angle and low cleavage fans are compatible with this deformation sequence.  相似文献

The Doublespring duplex, located in the Lost River Range of Idaho, is a Sevier age fault-related fold complex in massive limestones of the Upper Mississippian Scott Peak Formation. Folds within the duplex closely resemble fault-bend fold geometrics, with open interlimb angles and low-angle bed cut-offs. Narrow, widely spaced, bedding-parallel shear zones with well-developed pressure solution cleavage alternate with massive, relatively undeformed layers on fold limbs. Shear zones are developed only on the limbs of anticlines, and have similar but unique morphologies in each of three different folds. Incremental strain histories reconstructed from antitaxial fibrous overgrowths and veins within the shear zones constrain the kinematics of folding. Shear zones experienced distributed bedding-parallel simple shear (flexural flow) towards pins near axial surfaces, while adjacent massive layers experienced rotation through an externally fixed extension direction. The absence of footwall synclines and morphological differences in shear zones from adjacent folds suggest that faulting preceded folding. Kinematic histories of folds that have experienced different translational histories are identical, and are not compatible with strain histories predicted from previous kinematic models of fault-bend folding. Shear zone development and fiber growth is instead interpreted to have occurred during low amplitude fixed-hinge buckling in response to initial resistance to translation of the thrust sheet. Fault-bend folding with mobile axial surfaces occurred with translation of the thrust sheets once the initial resistance to translation was overcome and resulted in no penetrative strain.  相似文献

Boudins with long axes (BA) oriented subnormal to bedding and to associated fold axes are observed in folded rocks in a thrust sheet exposed near the base of a regionally extensive allochthon in west-central Nevada, USA. Formation of the boudins is related to development of a regional fold-set coeval with major thrusting. The axes of boudins lie at a high angle to bedding, and in some instances, boudins define tight to isoclinal folds which are geometrically associated with the regional deformation. Quartz c-axis fabrics from oriented thin-sections of the boudins indicate extension parallel to the boudin axes (BA).

These relations and other mesoscopic structural data indicate a complex deformational history for boudin development. The history involves thin layers (to become boudins) deformed in folds disharmonic to major structures within the thrust sheet followed by flattening and associated extension parallel to fold axes. During flattening, arcuation occurred within the deforming mass resulting in rotation of fold axes and boudin axes (BA) toward the axis of finite extension (X). Extension parallel to BA recorded in the petrofabrics of boudins records incremental strain axes oriented at a high angle (50°) to the finite X and is probably related to an early plane-strain state associated with disharmonic folding. The finite extension (X) is down-dip in axial planes of major folds formed during thrusting and indicates a northwest to southeast transport for the thrusts.  相似文献

欢乐谷地区由新元古代泥砂质岩层夹铁镁质岩层组成。受达马拉期陆块碰撞事件的影响,发生区域中深地壳层次的强烈韧性变形。后碰撞期,在地壳增厚背景下,发生大规模伸展减薄和花岗岩浆作用,形成多种浅色花岗岩体即白岗岩。产铀白岗岩主要为D型及E型白岗岩,为S型壳源花岗岩。欢乐谷地区经历了四期五个阶段的构造演化,分别是:前达马拉期构造变形、达马拉碰撞造山期韧性变形(早阶段的挤压逆冲、晚阶段的走滑剪切韧性变形)、后达马拉期脆性变形和新生代整体抬升引起的脆性变形。广泛发育的白岗岩属于同构造期岩体。通过对变质岩和白岗岩的节理测量统计,基本确定了研究区的碰撞后区域应力场。最优势的主压应力方向介于N26°~35°方位间,其次为介于N110°~129°方位间和N345°~360°方位间的主压应力。目前保留在各类岩石中的密集节理构造,是碰撞造山后构造折返或岩浆上涌到达上地壳层次后才发生的,与铀矿富集关系密切。本研究初步探讨了达马拉期构造作用、韧性剪切、后期脆性断裂(基性岩墙侵位通道)与铀成矿作用的成因联系和制约作用。  相似文献

The El Sela area is a part of the basement complex of the Eastern Desert of Egypt and the Pan-African Shield. The area comprises outcrops of dismembered ophiolites thrust over arc volcano-sedimentary sequence and intruded by different syn- to post-tectonic granitoids. Structural analysis of the area enabled the separation and definition of four structural episodes: (E1) folding–thrusting episode associated with the cratonization of the arc/inter-arc rock association and the intrusion of the syntectonic (Older) granites. (E2) Upright folding episode associated with the compression and shortening to the ENE–WSW direction which is different from the NNW–SSE shortening direction during E1; at the end of E2, late tectonic granites were intruded. (E3) Post-tectonic granitic intrusion episode: two mica granite and granitic dikes were intruded during this episode. (E4) Fracturing, faulting, and post-granitic dike extrusion episodes caused different faults that took place after cratonization until the present. There are three generations of folds during ductile deformation (E1 and E2). The F2 folds are nearly coaxial (along ENE–WSW trend) with the F1 folds. The F3 folding is displayed by folds generally trending NNW–SSE. Therefore, the ENE–WSW and NNW–SSE trends can considered as preexisting discontinuities and mechanical anisotropy of the crust in the following structure episodes. Brittle deformation (E3 and E4) reveals the importance of those trends which control the multi-injections and many alteration features in the study area. During reactivation, a simple shear parallel to the inherited ductile fabrics was responsible for the development of mineralized structures along the ENE–WSW and NNW–SSE trends. So they can be considered as paleochannel trends for deep-seated structures and can act as a good trap for uranium and/or other mineral resources. Most of the uranium anomalies are delineated along ENE–WSW and NNW–SSE shear zones where quartz-bearing veins bounded the lamprophyre dike and microgranites and dissected them in relation to the successive fracturation and brecciation corresponding to the repeated rejuvenation of the structures. Therefore, the structural controls of the uranium mineralizations in the El Sela area appear to be related to the interaction between inherited ductile fabrics and overprinting brittle structures.  相似文献

大青山高级变质岩不仅记录华北克拉通早期大陆形成演化历史,也保留了中下部地壳岩石流变信息,它们经历了下部地壳构造层次高角闪岩相-麻粒岩相条件变质变形、深熔作用改造,形成了复杂构造样式和构造要素组合.韧性剪切带是高级变质岩中主要构造形迹,控制着早前寒武纪高级变质岩主体构造格架.依据野外地质产状、变形特征与构造要素叠加改造关系,韧性剪切带划分为早期近水平顺层伸展型和晚期陡倾韧性剪切带.近水平顺层伸展韧性剪切带呈残留状保留在后期变形改造较弱部位上,主要沿着不同地质单元或者岩性层界面上发育,是在伸展变形体制下形成的.晚期陡倾韧性剪切带呈近东西方向展布,规模较大,叠加和改造早期构造形迹,形成于晚期造山挤压构造环境中,以左行滑移为主.这两种韧性剪切带都形成于地壳中深部构造层次高角闪岩相-麻粒岩相条件下,变形机制主要为熔体增强颗粒边界扩散和颗粒流动,使岩石发生大规模的塑性流动.在宏观上形成了不对称流动组构、条纹条带构造、熔融线理、层内流动褶皱等构造形迹,在微观上矿物晶体没有发生明显塑性变形,均匀消光,晶体为三边平衡结构,与静态变质结构相似,形成了地壳深部构造层次上变质构造岩-构造片麻岩.   相似文献

Fault-slip data are used to reconstruct varying tectonic regimes associated with transverse fold development along the eastern and southern margins of the Jaca basin, southern Pyrenees, Spain. The Spanish Pyrenean foreland consists of thrust sheets and leading-edge décollement folds which developed within piggyback basins. Guara Formation limestones on the margins of the Jaca basin were deposited synchronously with deformation and are exposed in the External Sierra. Within the transverse folds, principal shortening axes determined from P and T dihedra plots of fault-slip data show a shift from steep shortening in stratigraphically older beds to NNE–SSW horizontal shortening in younger beds. Older strata are characterized by extensional faults interpreted to result from halotectonic (salt tectonics) deformation, whereas younger strata are characterized by contraction and strike-slip faults interpreted to result from thrust sheet emplacement. The interpretation of the timing for the shortening axes in the younger strata is supported by the observation that these axes are parallel to shortening axes determined from finite strain analysis, calcite twins, and regional thrusting directions determined from fault-related folds and slickenlines. This study shows that fault population analysis in syntectonic strata provides an opportunity to constrain kinematic evolution during orogeny.  相似文献

The Bielsa thrust sheet is a south-verging unit of the Axial zone in the central Pyrenees. The Bielsa thrust sheet consists predominantly of a Variscan granite unconformably overlain by a thin cover of Triassic and Cretaceous deposits. During the Eocene–Oligocene, Pyrenean compression, displacement of the Bielsa thrust sheet generated a large-scale south-verging monocline. Low temperature deformation of the Bielsa thrust sheet resulted in the development of: (1) E–W trending, asymmetric folds in the Triassic cover with amplitudes up to 1.5 km; these folds of the cover are related with normal and reverse faults in the granite and with rigid-body block rotations. (2) Pervasive fracturing within the Bielsa granite is also attributed to Pyrenean deformation and is consistent with a NNE to ENE shortening direction; two main, conjugate fault systems are associated with this direction of shortening, as is a subvertical strike-slip system with shallow-plunging slickenside lineations and a moderately dipping fault system with reverse movement; and (3) in addition, we recognise strike-slip and reverse shear bands, associated with sericitisation and brittle deformation of quartz and feldspar in the granite, that enclose Triassic rocks. Basement deformation within the Bielsa thrust sheet can be related to movement of faults developed to accommodate internal deformation of the hanging wall. Several models are proposed to account for this deformation during the southward displacement of the thrust.  相似文献

The Twin Creek Limestone in the footwall of the Absaroka thrust sheet contains three sets of bed-normal syntectonic calcite veins. Vein formation occurred during Cretaceous motion along the Absaroka thrust fault as indicated by (1) crosscutting relationships among these vein sets, (2) a previously dated solution cleavage, and (3) calcite twin analysis. Fluid inclusions in the veins and overburden estimates constrain inclusion entrapment temperatures to be between 175 °C and 328 °C. Results from stable oxygen isotopes indicate that the host and vein fluid compositions were in near isotopic equilibrium. Applying both reasonable geothermal gradients and constraints on overburden temperature yields fluid pressures during vein precipitation that are near hydrostatic. All data taken together suggest both that vein formation within the Twin Creek Formation occurred in a relatively closed system, and that the veins filled near hydrostatic fluid pressure. Because the veins fill precursory cracks, vein filling might not reflect the maximum fluid pressure that existed during the complete vein forming process.  相似文献

大兴安岭北部恩和哈达韧性剪切变形带发育于漠河盆地中侏罗统绣峰组砂砾岩地层中,其几何学、运动学、动力学等特征显示该韧性变形带为由北西向南东近水平右行斜向逆冲型剪切带.在近南北挤压条件下,晚侏罗世-早白垩世同构造侵位的中酸性岩浆岩为之提供高温热源,促使绣峰组砂砾岩在浅表层发生顺层-切层韧性剪切变形.与之同时,强烈韧性变形促使砂砾岩中金发生活化迁移,韧性变形带及派生的脆性构造成为成矿流体的重要运移通道和储矿空间.  相似文献

太行山南段临城自立庄地区古元古界甘陶河群中低级变质岩中发育一条左行逆冲型韧性剪切带。自立庄韧性剪切带出露长约10 km,宽约1 km,走向NNE,往西缓倾,在EW方向上由若干条强变形带与其间的弱变形域或岩块组成,平面上呈现平行式的组合特征。该韧性剪切带内发育糜棱岩、拉伸线理和皱纹线理、不对称褶皱、石香肠构造和构造透镜体、S-C面理和旋转碎斑等宏观和微观构造。S-C面理、旋转碎斑、不对称褶皱等宏微观变形特征一致表明自立庄韧性剪切带上盘由西往东逆冲的运动学性质。在对韧性剪切带宏观、微观构造特征研究基础上,结合区域资料,认为自立庄韧性剪切带的形成与华北克拉通古元古代末期西部陆块与东部陆块的EW向碰撞拼合有关,是18.5 Ga吕梁运动的产物。自立庄韧性剪切带的厘定为太行山南段古元古代构造演化提供了基础资料。  相似文献

在拉轨岗日构造带佩枯错新发现了一条韧性剪切带,至少存在3期变形。韧性剪切作用可能与应变能转化的热能有关,应变能常沿断裂集中,形成方解石脉;然后,经由北往南的逆冲推覆,形成(叠瓦状)逆冲推覆构造;最后,由于山体重力势能的作用,伸展跨塌。该剪切带成为藏南拆离系的组成部分。  相似文献

The Glarus thrust accommodated at least 30 km of northward displacement strongly localized within a 1-m layer of 'Lochseiten' (LK) calc-mylonite. This layer displays veins in various states of plastic deformation and a wildly refolded foliated gouge texture. Lattice- and shape-preferred orientations are observed within the fine-grained, recrystallized matrix. These features indicate the alternate activity of brittle and ductile deformation mechanisms. In contrast to the classical view that grain boundary sliding (superplasticity) is the dominant deformation mechanism, it is advocated that fluids, derived from the footwall and expelled along the thrust, are responsible for hydrofracturing and cataclastic deformation. In periods between fracture events, deformation was ductile. In this new interpretation, a substantial amount of the total thrust displacement was accommodated by numerous short-lived and strongly localized fracture events at the base of the Verrucano thrust sheet, rather than a permanently weak décollement lithology.  相似文献

通过构造解析的研究,确定赛马山地区中元古代所发生的阿尔金运动共有三幕变形,第一幕发生在长城纪早期,为EW向伸展机制下中部构造相的大规模顺层滑脱韧性变形,形成了赛马西山顺层滑脱韧性变形带,具超塑性流动变形特征和多层结构样式,第二幕发生在长城纪末,为主期变形,在NS向挤压机制下,在浅部构造相形成了EW向紧闭褶皱(局部倒转褶皱),并卷入早期的顺层滑脱韧性变形带,褶皱后期,由于应力的集聚,在浅表层次下,沿兴地塔格群内岩层软弱面发生剪切而形成了滑脱面,产生由南向北的逆冲,形成了具叠瓦扇结构的永红山飞来峰构,第三幕,蓟县纪末由于SN向强烈挤压后出现“松驰”引张而产生EW向挤压应力,形成NS向开阔褶皱,叠加于主期褶皱之上,形成了赛马西山-永红山穹盆构造。  相似文献
