本文用红外光谱法研究沉积型海泡石粘土岩中海泡石的热稳定性和热相变现象。经实验证实:沉积型海泡石的热稳定上限为375℃,因为在375℃时海泡石的结构开始向滑石型结构变化,一直到800℃为界,呈滑石型结构,从800℃至1200℃则呈顽火辉石结构,在1200℃时还有方英石出现。 相似文献

通过在湘潭县毛塘海泡石黏土矿区留君庵矿段开展矿产勘查工作,基本查明了海泡石黏土矿床的地质特征。矿区海泡石黏土矿赋存于中二叠统小江边组“含泥质段”风化层中,矿体形态平面上呈长条带状,剖面上矿体形态呈透镜体状、似层状,矿床规模为小型。根据X衍射定量测试分析和化学分析,矿石主要矿物成分为海泡石、石英、方解石、滑石和蒙脱石等组成;矿石化学成分总体富硅、镁、低钾、钠。矿石中海泡石含量与MgO、SiO2含量呈正相关关系,与CaO含量总体呈负相关,结合矿石扫描电镜分析结果,区内海泡石形成于沉积过程的新生作用。综合矿区成矿地质特征和矿石物理化学特点,矿区位于古陆边缘局限性的富Mg2+、Si4+及高pH值的浅海环境中,海泡石经原生沉积于钙镁质页岩、泥灰岩,再经长期化学风化改造,在表生条件下不断富集形成海泡石黏土矿床,矿床成因类型为沉积风化残余型。 相似文献

赋存于茅口组下部含泥质灰岩段的矿体呈似层状、透镜状,长3500-5600m,平均厚4.39-5.15m,矿石品位一般8%-20%,最高可达65%。矿石有原岩型和粘土型两类,粘土型矿石一般呈灰-深灰色,干燥后呈灰白色,硬度1-2,比重1.6-2.3t/m^3,粘性强,可塑性好,透水性强。主要矿物成分有海泡石、石英、方解石、滑石、蒙脱石、伊利石和氟磷石等,矿石富Si、Mg、贫K、Na,CaO、Al2O3含量偏高。早二叠世江南古陆两侧局限(浅)海或海湾环境有利于海泡石沉积。在永顺-石门、安化-浏阳、怀化-浏阳成矿带,具有良好的找矿前景,估计海泡石资源量在3000万吨以上。 相似文献

用湖南海泡石粘土做室内造浆试验和在南海油田进行钻井泥浆试验,分析和试验表明,该粘土的主要成分为海泡石、石英、滑石和少量方解石,不同粒度对其造粒性能有一定的影响;在NaCo和Na2CO3溶液中均可高度分散并建立起较稳定的粘度,但在造地要求有较强的剪切力,在该油田进行泥浆试验基本达到预期目的。 相似文献

提供饮水降氟用的海泡石,系陕西省境内所产。矿体呈细脉状、网脉状,产于秦岭群大理岩裂隙中。矿石的矿物成分主要是海泡石和方解石;化学成分以 SiO_2、MgO、CaO 为主;总比表面大,具较强的吸附性。海泡石试样经明矾活化处理后,按照试验选择的降氟条件,对采自高氟地区的饮用水进行交换处理。实验性降氟表明,海泡石能使高氟饮用水降到符合国家规定的饮用水含氟标准。 相似文献

This study examined commercial talc deposits in the U.S. and their amphibole-asbestos content. The study found that the talc-forming environment directly influenced the amphibole and amphibole-asbestos content of the talc deposit. Large talc districts in the U.S. have mined hydrothermal talcs that replaced dolostone. Hydrothermal talcs, created by siliceous fluids heated by magmas at depth, consistently lack amphiboles as accessory minerals. In contrast, mineable talc deposits that formed by contact or regional metamorphism consistently contain amphiboles, locally as asbestiform varieties. Examples of contact metamorphic deposits occur in Death Valley, California; these talc-tremolite deposits contain accessory amphibole-asbestos. Talc bodies formed by regional metamorphism always contain amphiboles, which display a variety of compositions and habits, including asbestiform. Some industrial mineral deposits are under scrutiny as potential sources of accessory asbestos minerals. Recognizing consistent relations between the talc-forming environment and amphibole-asbestos content may be used in prioritizing remediation or monitoring of abandoned and active talc mines. 相似文献

海泡石是一种富镁的纤维状粘土矿物,为链-层状结构的含水硅酸盐。在自然界中分布不广,很少形成单独的大量堆积。但是因为它具有一系列有别于其他粘土矿物的极其有用的物理化学性能,因此,有着广泛的工业用途。海泡石的成因大体分为两类,一是热液蚀变产物,常呈纤维状或“石棉”状,集合成脉状产出,规模较小,工业意义不大。另一类为沉积成因(包括成岩作用或新生作用而成),往往成为土状海泡石粘土,集合成层状、似层状或透镜状产出,规模一般较大,工业矿床多属此类成因。中国的海泡石粘土矿床都分布在中国南方,而且主要集中在下二叠统,其中湖南约占80%,所以被誉为“海泡石之乡”。在我国“科学的春天”里,湖南有关野外队先后发现了四个矿床和十来个矿点或矿化点。湖南地质研究所参加了地质矿产部“七五”期间重点攻 相似文献

本文总结了巴西两个最重要的滑石产地,Parana和Bahia区中滑石矿床的地质特征,并探讨了这些矿床的可能成因。巴西的滑石在世界滑石储量与产量中占有十分重要的地位。巴西Parana和Bahia区的滑石矿主要产于前寒武纪地体中。尽管该区的滑石具有不同的地质产状,与变质火山岩和变质沉积岩共生的滑石最为重要。其他类型的滑石,如与镁铁质-超镁铁质岩共生的、在花岗岩与白云质大理岩接触带的、在花岗岩体中呈包体或顶垂体状的、则相对不重要。在巴西与岩浆活动有关的滑石矿化主要发生在前寒武纪(Bahia区)和白垩纪(Parana区)。滑石的成因模式主要有两类:一为与岩浆热液有关的热液交代成矿模式,另一是起源于盆地热卤水的变质流体交代成矿模式。其中后一种成因模式可用来解释巴西的大多数大型滑石矿床,同时也适用于其他地区,如中国辽宁和乌拉尔南部的滑石成矿。 相似文献

The volcanic-hosted massive sulphide (VHMS) deposits in the Eastern Desert of Egypt (e.g., Um Saki deposit) are associated with Precambrian coarse acid pyroclastic rocks. The upper contacts of the massive sulphide body are sharp and well-defined; while the keel zone to the mineralization is always associated with pervasive alteration, characterized by the presence of septechlorite and talc, associated with variable amounts of carbonate and tremolite. On the other hand, the economic talc deposits in Egypt are hosted intensively altered volcanic rocks. Besides talc, chlorite, carbonates and tremolite that occur in variable amounts in these deposits, anomalously high concentrations of gold are also present.The present study showed that alterations in the talc deposits of Darhib, El Atshan, Abu Gurdi, Egat, Um Selimat and Nikhira are similar to those occurring in the keel zone underlying the VHMS of Um Samuki and that the chemical modifications due to alteration processes (additions of Mg, Fe, Mn and Ca coupled with depletions in silica, alkalies, alumina and titanium) are comparable, even the host rocks are different, thus reflecting a genetic relationship. It is suggested that, the examined localities of talc deposits are hosted in the intensively altered volcanics in the keel zones of volcanogenic massive sulphide deposits. Recently, detailed geophysical prospecting program, including electric (resistivity, self-potential and induced polarization), electromagnetic and magnetic methods, was carried out at Darhib, Abu Gurdi and Um Selimat talc deposits. The quantitative interpretation of these geophysical measurements revealed the presence of subsurface bodies of sulphides. The present distribution of talc and allied minerals in Darhib, El Atshan, Abu Gurdi, Egat, Um Selimat and Nikhira could be explained by a tectonic process in which the coarse acid pyroclastic rocks with massive sulphides have tilted in such way that the footwall rock alterations (talc and allied minerals) are exposed on the present-day surface at these localities. Structural studies are currently under way in an attempt to explain the deformation regime that led to the present situation of talc deposits.Two distinct spatial and mineralogical associations of gold mineralization could be identified in the volcanogenic massive sulphide deposits and their footwall alterations (the keel zone) in the Eastern Desert of Egypt. These are (1) gold–silver–zinc association, and (2) gold–copper association. In the former, gold grades are very low and silver is anomalous. This association occurs typically in the upper levels of the VHMS deposit where low-temperature sulphides are abundant. Gold was deposited because of the mixing between the ascending hot solutions and the sulphate-rich seawater. The upper levels of Um Samuki sulphide body represent this association. Gold–copper association, on the other hand, typically occurs in the footwall altered rocks (the keel zone) and the lowest parts of the massive sulphide body. Gold grades reach up to 5.54 ppm, but the average is 1 ppm. Silver is very low, usually in the range of 4–10 ppm. Lead usually, but not always, accompanies gold in this association. Deposition of gold probably took place due to decreasing of temperature and/or increasing pH of the ascending hot brines. The keel zones at Darhib, Abu Gurdi, El Atshan, Um Selimat, Nikhira and Egat talc mines better represent this association. 相似文献

Talc deposits in Nangarhar Province, are hosted by Paleoproterozoic carbonate rocks, metamorphosed to amphibolite facies in the east–west (E–W) trending Spinghar Fault Block. Many deposits in this province have potential economic importance. However, detailed geologic and petrological studies on ore genesis are still lacking. In this study, eight talc deposits and two prospects of the Spinghar Fault Block were investigated. Talc is mainly formed by alteration of the host dolomite marble, magnesite rocks, and tremolitite. Talc ore bodies occur parallel to subparallel to the beddings of the host carbonate rocks. Dolerite occur as dikes and sills and are mostly metamorphosed to amphibolite. Although the amphibolite occurs mostly parallel to subparallel to the beddings of the host carbonate rocks, and talc orebodies, it partly crosscuts the host rocks. Massive layers of tremolitite were observed with most of the talc ore bodies. Quartz veins occur along the gneissosity of gneiss all over the study area. SiO2 and MgO content in talc rocks from all deposits ranged from 49.1 to 65.1 wt% and from 26.1 to 32.9 wt%, respectively. CaO content in talc rocks and magnesite rocks are less than 1 wt%. ƩREE content in talc rocks ranged from 0.1 to 8.9 ppm. Chemical compositions of host carbonate rocks are close to the ideal composition. Concentrations of Al, Ta, Hf, Zr, Th, Cr, Ni, Co, and ƩREE in talc ores and host carbonate rocks were very low and inconsistent with mafic and ultramafic rocks protolith. Therefore, the metamorphosed sedimentary carbonate rocks were likely to be the protolith of the talc ores. The occurrence of parallel to subparallel quartz veins to the gneissosity of gneiss, as well as the presence of hydrous minerals in host carbonate rocks, suggested that hydrothermal fluids were most probably supplied through the gneiss. 相似文献
