早在50年代, Kellogg, Scheyil1l, Evans和Norris等人分别记录和研究了海豚的声信号, Schevill和 Lawrence通过实验有力地证实了海豚具有很好的回声定位能力。60年代以来,各国对海豚动物声呐进行了广泛研究,取得了很大进展。多年来,不少国外学者在实验工作的基础上对海豚的声发射与接收机制提出了一些近似的物理模型,不同程度地解释了一些海豚声呐系统中的现象,但与仿生学的综合研究的目标还相距甚远。对海豚水下声信号进行深入的定量测量与分析,仍是海豚仿生学中一项重要的基础工作,它对进一步研究、改进水下声学探测设备和强背景噪声下弱信号的识別与检测都有着实际指导意义。目前在大约五十余种海豚中,除对胆鼻海豚(Tursiops truncates)国外有过较多的研究外,对其他海豚的研究则很少。 江豚属齿鲸亚目,是体型最小的一种海豚。它主要分布在日本海和中国及东南亚各国沿岸海域,在中国长江口分布最为集中。每年3,4月份江豚到长江口一带生殖,有时沿江深入甚远。日本学者 Kazuhiro Mizue等(1968)和英国的Purves(1983)都对江豚的水下声信号作过记录与测量,但Kazuhiro Mizue等只记录到4kHz, Purves也只记录了30Hz-35kHz的信号;遗憾的是,由于信噪比太低,他们都没有进行详细的频谱分析。本实验所记录到的江豚声信号,由于记录器频带范围的限制,频率范围仅是40Hz-70kHz,其中包括了几种不同波形的较高频和低频脉冲信号,本实验对其频谱和周期作了较为详细的分析测量。  相似文献

本文的研究基于文莱湾浅水域的一头野生伊洛瓦底海豚水声定位信号的调查数据。在记录期间,有一艘渔船突然开启发动机,惊扰了其附近的一头伊洛瓦底海豚,接着渔船开始两次连续追逐海豚。这期间海豚回声定位信号的变化情况被记录下来。当伊洛瓦底海豚受惊吓被追逐时,信号的声压级、每分钟嘀嗒声信号串的发生次数、每个嘀嗒声信号串中的脉冲个数和平均脉冲间隔都发生了相应的变化。平均的脉冲间隔在事件发生的瞬间立即增大,并在追逐期间呈现轻微下降趋势。脉冲间隔的增大对应着探测距离的增加,代表着海豚对未知区域的探索能力,制约着它的逃离速度。数据记录结果的分析表明,伊洛瓦底海豚会根据外界干扰对发出的回声定位信号进行调整,改变自己对潜在危险的探查能力。分析结果同时提醒我们需要随海豚生存环境的噪声进行管理,避免突然的发动机操作或者追逐它们。  相似文献

国外对加州海狮水下声进行了不少研究,但尚未取得一致结论。我们对北京动物园中的加州海狮(Zalophus californianus) “东东”和“玲玲”的水下声信号进行了测试和分析。发现它们在水下发出许多种声信号。在缓慢的自由游泳状态发出幅度较低、没有明显规律的脉冲,而当快游接近池壁或跳出水面之前和入水之时,则发出上升时间短、幅度很大的脉冲列。“东东”三岁半,好动,发声极多,其脉冲声信号较易测到。  相似文献

水下声探测是外国调查船和水下文物盗捞船进行非法调查和探测的主要技术手段,根据信号的主要声特征,对海洋水下声探测信号进行分类,分为宽带中、低频信号和窄带高频信号.在福建兴化湾海域采集了浅地层剖面仪信号、电火花声源信号、侧扫声纳信号和单频测深信号4种代表性的海洋水下声探测信号,根据声特征分析给出了对应的分类,其中:浅地层剖面仪信号为信号类型确定的中、低频信号;电火花声源信号为宽带脉冲中、低频信号;侧扫声纳信号和单频测深信号为窄带高频信号.通过对4种实测声探测数据的分析研究,给出了对应类型的海洋水下声探测信号的分析、提取方法,其中:信号类型确定的中低信号和窄带高频信号在初步的时、频分析基础上,可通过带通滤波提取;宽带脉冲中、低频信号在初步的时、频分析基础上,可尝试通过小波尺度相关滤波的方法提取.结合已知的水下声探测信号的主要声特征,实现对采集的海洋水下声探测信号的识别.  相似文献

Two harbor porpoises in a floating pen were subjected to five pure tone underwater signals of 70 or 120kHz with different signal durations, amplitudes and duty cycles (% of time sound is produced). Some signals were continuous, others were intermittent (duty cycles varied between 8% and 100%). The effect of each signal was judged by comparing the animals' surfacing locations and number of surfacings (i.e. number of respirations) during test periods with those during baseline periods. In all cases, both porpoises moved away from the sound source, but the effect of the signals on respiration rates was negligible. Pulsed 70kHz signals with a source level (SL) of 137dB had a similar effect as a continuous 70kHz signal with an SL of 148dB (re 1muPa, rms). Also, a pulsed 70kHz signal with an SL of 147dB had a much stronger deterring effect than a continuous 70kHz signal with a similar SL. For pulsed 70kHz signals (2s pulse duration, 4s pulse interval, SL 147dB re 1muPa, rms), the avoidance threshold sound pressure level (SPL), in the context of the present study, was estimated to be around 130dB (re 1muPa, rms) for porpoise 064 and around 124dB (re 1muPa, rms) for porpoise 047. This study shows that ultrasonic pingers (70kHz) can deter harbor porpoises. Such ultrasonic pingers have the advantage that they do not have a "dinner bell" effect on pinnipeds, and probably have no, or less, effect on other marine fauna, which are often sensitive to low frequency sounds.  相似文献

World-wide, underwater background noise levels are increasing due to anthropogenic activities. Little is known about the effects of anthropogenic noise on marine fish, and information is needed to predict any negative effects. Behavioural startle response thresholds were determined for eight marine fish species, held in a large tank, to tones of 0.1-64 kHz. Response threshold levels varied per frequency within and between species. For sea bass, the 50% reaction threshold occurred for signals of 0.1-0.7 kHz, for thicklip mullet 0.4-0.7 kHz, for pout 0.1-0.25 kHz, for horse mackerel 0.1-2 kHz and for Atlantic herring 4 kHz. For cod, pollack and eel, no 50% reaction thresholds were reached. Reaction threshold levels increased from approximately 100 dB (re 1 microPa, rms) at 0.1 kHz to approximately 160 dB at 0.7 kHz. The 50% reaction thresholds did not run parallel to the hearing curves. This shows that fish species react very differently to sound, and that generalisations about the effects of sound on fish should be made with care. As well as on the spectrum and level of anthropogenic sounds, the reactions of fish probably depend on the context (e.g. location, temperature, physiological state, age, body size, and school size).  相似文献

海上风电场建设期风机打桩会产生高强度的水下噪声,研究水下冲击打桩噪声的监测方法、特性分析及对海洋生物的影响是非常重要的。采用自容式水下声音记录仪,多点同步测量了福建省兴化湾海上风电场二期工程建设期单次完整的水下冲击打桩噪声,从时频域特性进行了分析,并利用最小二乘法拟合得到了打桩声源级和声暴露级。结果表明:水下冲击打桩噪声是典型的低频、高强度的脉冲信号,单个脉冲持续时间约90~100 ms,峰值声源级约209.4±2 dB,声暴露级约197.7±2 dB;主要能量分布在50 Hz~1 kHz频段,750 m测量点的该频段声压级相比海洋环境背景噪声,提高了约40~50 dB。水下冲击打桩噪声频域能量分布与大黄鱼的听觉敏感频段相重叠,对大黄鱼影响程度和范围较大,实际工程应用中宜采用声暴露级作为评价指标。  相似文献

以水族馆内圈养的北海狮为研究对象,利用长达29 h的连续被动声学观测数据,对北海狮水下声信号类型进行了研究。共检测出22 689个水下声信号,对时长、最小频率、最大频率和峰值频率这4个声学参数采用聚类分析方法将信号分为10种类型:单脉冲(SP)、哨声(WS)、咕咕声(GG)、咚咚声(DS)、狗吠声(BK)、吼叫声(WY)、嗡嗡声(BZ)、撞击声(BG)、单频声(SF)以及咩咩声(BT)。该分类方式涵盖了北海狮92.6%的水下发声。北海狮水下声信号时长的均值为5~1 244 ms,峰值频率一般小于10 kHz。10种类型信号的占比各有不同,BK,BT和BG信号的比例较高;SP,WS和BZ信号的比例次之;DS,WY,SF和GG信号的比例较低。对北海狮水下声信号类型的分析能帮助了解北海狮的声行为特征,对野外北海狮的声学观测具有重要的指导价值。  相似文献

Harbour porpoise bycatch may be reduced by deterring porpoises from nets acoustically. In this study, two harbour porpoises were subjected to three acoustic alarms. The effect of each alarm was judged by comparing the animals' position and respiration rate during a test period with that during a baseline period. The XP-10 alarm produced 0.3 s tonal signals randomly selected from a set of 16 with fundamental frequencies between 9 and 15 kHz, with a constant pulse interval of 4.8 s (duty cycle 6%). The 2MP alarm produced 0.3 s tonal signals randomly selected from a set of 16 with similar fundamental frequencies but with random pulse intervals of between 2 and 5 s (duty cycle 8%). The frequency spectra and source levels of the 2MP and XP-10 alarms varied depending on the signal selected. The HS20-80 alarm produced a constant, but asymmetrical frequency modulated sinewave between 20 and 80 kHz with total pulse duration of 0.3 s. with random pulse intervals of between 2 and 5 s (duty cycle 4.6%). The porpoises reacted to all three alarms by swimming away from them and by increasing their respiration rate. The XP-10, which on average had the highest source level, had the strongest effect.  相似文献

We consider the results of instrumental investigations of specific features of reverberation in the Black Sea and obtain qualitative dependences of the duration of volume reverberation on the parameters of the Black-Sea underwater sound channel, (width, drop of the sound velocity, and dimensions of the inhomogeneities of stratification). In order to study the properties of sound-speed dispersion in a sandy sediment, the sound speed was measured both at high frequency (90-170 kHz) and low frequency (0.5-3 kHz) in laboratory environments. At high frequency, a sampling measurement was conducted with boiled and uncooked sand samples collected from the bottom of a large water tank. The sound speed was directly obtained through transmission measurement using single source and single hydrophone. At low frequency, an in situ measurement was conducted in the water tank, where the sandy sediment had been homogeneously paved at the bottom for a long time. The sound speed was indirectly inverted according to the traveling time of signals received by three buried hydrophones in the sandy sediment and the geometry in experiment. The results show that the mean sound speed is approximate 1710-1713 m/s with a weak positive gradient in the sand sample after being boiled (as a method to eliminate bubbles as much as possible) at high frequency, which agrees well with the predictions of Biot theory, the effective density fluid model (EDFM) and Buckingham''s theory. However, the sound speed in the uncooked sandy sediment obviously decreases (about 80%) both at high frequency and low frequency due to plenty of bubbles in existence. And the sound-speed dispersion performs a weak negative gradient at high frequency. Finally, a water-unsaturated Biot model is presented for trying to explain the decrease of sound speed in the sandy sediment with plenty of bubbles.  相似文献

This is an experimental study of the acoustic method of surface-wave excitation using an underwater source of high-frequency (950 kHz) sound. The surface waves are excited at the sound-beam modulation frequency (3–55 Hz). For a normal fall onto the free surface, the modulated sound beam efficiently generates waves in the gravity-capillary range. This provides flexible electronic control of the main wave parameters (frequency and amplitude) in the packet and continuous modes. The amplitude-frequency characteristics of the process of surface-wave generation were obtained by numerical calculations (based on equations for the rate of acoustic flux and propagation of gravity-capillary surface waves) and by experiments (based on surface wave measurements by optical and contact methods). Both values are very consistent: on the background of a similar monotonic attenuation with frequency, they have a local dip near the minimum of the phase velocity and oscillation in the frequency range above 20 Hz. The experiments on the excitation of wave packets by single acoustic messages with varying lengths and powers, as well as by falling water drops, indicated that, in all cases, the phase characteristics are satisfactorily consistent with one another and the time needed for the signal to arrive at the measurement point is determined by the group velocity.  相似文献
