Recent technological advancements in web-based geographic information systems have enabled access to satellite images on smart devices. The Representational State Transfer (REST) architecture overcomes difficulties that are associated with conventional data communications on the web, and the Web Graphics Library (WebGL) can be used as an alternative to web-based three-dimensional geographic visualization (3-D geovisualization) due to its efficient image processing capabilities. This paper describes a 3-D geovisualization system that was developed for satellite images on smart devices by integrating a spatial database management system (DBMS), a RESTful application programming interface (API), and WebGL. Spatiotemporal objects were constructed for time-series satellite images within a DBMS and a RESTful API was built for spatiotemporal queries to the time-series database so that the requested satellite data could be represented in 3-D on smart devices using WebGL. Satellite images that are represented in WebGL give a more realistic 3-D experience when they are combined with terrain data and provide for intuitive observations of the relationships between pixel values and associated geospatial conditions. This paper shows that a creative combination of existing technologies can be used to enhance and display satellite images on smart devices for 3-D geovisualization.  相似文献

提出了一种山地区域基于DEM地性线的控制纠正新方法,该方法以数字地形模型DEM为无几何变形的控制基准纠正卫星影像。阐述了提取沟谷、山脊、山峰和凹地区域的地性线的原理和算法,给出了山地区域基于地性线进行卫星图像几何精纠正实施步骤,进一步讨论了地性线提取、控制点采集存在的问题,以及解决问题的途径。实验结果表明,对于山地区域,地性线的空间数量数倍于水系、道路等常规地图层;地性线来源于DEM,其空间稳定性和可靠性更高,可以用于山地区域的卫星影像的严格控制纠正。用该方法进行几何纠正处理,几何误差能控制在一个像元的水平上。  相似文献

This study aims at determining the spatiotemporal change in urban areas by using multi-temporal satellite images with geographic information systems integration. In this study, the city of Erzincan was selected as the sample case. The analyses of change were conducted by using the optical satellite images from LANSAT TM dated 1987 and the LANDSAT ETM+ dated 2006, besides the night images from 1998, 2006 and 2010. Spatial change maps were created for the qualitative analysis, and change matrixes were formed for the quantitative assessment of these changes. The outcomes of these change analyses were then evaluated and interpreted in the light of the demographics of the population living in the area. The results obtained from the Landsat satellite images indicate that the area of the city expanded at the annual average rate of 1.65% in 1987–2006. Night images indicate that the city area grew at an annual average rate of 4.04% in 1998–2006, while this rate was 20.28% in the period of 2006–2010. The results of the study demonstrate that the usability and contribution of satellite images is quite significant in tracking and monitoring temporal and spatial change in the area.  相似文献

星载高分辨率光学图像与SAR图像广泛应用于城市建筑物高度提取,但光学图像存在缺少相关卫星参数的情况,而SAR图像则存在散射特征不完整以及提取效率低等缺陷。针对以上问题,本文提出一种联合高分辨率星载光学与SAR图像的城市大面积建筑物高度快速提取方法。首先,结合支持向量机(SVM)和形态学阴影指数(MSI)快速提取光学图像中的阴影并自动测量阴影长度;之后选择多个合适样本,基于模型匹配法从SAR图像中提取高度;最后将高度与阴影长度作线性回归分析,建立数学模型来提取其他建筑物的高度。该方法将不同卫星系统的数据和特征相结合,互相弥补各自缺陷,不仅提高了效率、降低了成本,同时满足精度要求。  相似文献

从卫星硬件设计与地面软件处理相结合的角度出发,建立了一套提高卫星图像空间分辨率的方法。对模拟靶标图像、一航景物图像、遥感图像分别进行了不同分辨率成像效果的计算机模拟。结果表明,所建立的卫星图像空间分辨率提高理论是正确的,使卫星图像空间分辨率提高2倍甚至更多在理论上是可行的。这一研究成果的实际应用,将会提高卫星的空间分辨率,也可以在保持卫星分辨率的条件下,缩小光学仪器的焦距,使卫星相机小型化,减小其体积和重量。  相似文献

星载干涉雷达测量已经被证实用于生成大范围(乃至全球)的DEM或监测地表位移具有广阔的应用前景,其中SAR复数图像序列的精确配准是保证生成有效干涉相位图的重要环节之一。本文分析了卫星InSAR系统中所涉及的几种坐标系统变换问题,并提出了基于此的几何配准方案,即基于卫星轨道状态矢量、SAR成像几何进行配准的算法;同时,还设计了基于几何配准结果和能量影像相关技术的配准算法,最后使用ERS-1/2、JERS-1和RADARSAT卫星获取的3种SAR复数图像对分别做几何配准和相关配准试验和比较,并对卫星SAR图像质量和轨道数据质量作了定性分析。  相似文献

目前的目标融合检测方法大都是基于多源遥感图像配准的,然而在实际的应用中,成像机理不同的多源遥感图像的精校正和图像间的配准是十分复杂的,难以确保其配准精度.为此,本文提出了一种基于目标关联的多源卫星遥感图像的兵营融合检测方法.该方法不对图像进行配准,而是根据单源图像的目标自动检测结果,利用图像的大地坐标信息,截取包含目标的同一地区的局部遥感图像,再分别提取多源遥感图像目标的特征,并根据其中冗余的特征,对提取的目标区域建立关联,再由关联检验确保特征关联的正确性,最后对目标特征进行融合决策,得到目标融合检测结果.实验结果表明,该方法能有效地利用多源遥感图像的信息,降低遥感图像目标检测的误判率,提高目标特征的准确度.  相似文献

几何定位偏差是评估卫星影像质量的重要参数之一。本文利用特征匹配方法进行卫星影像几何偏差估计,并对该方法的可行性进行分析。首先,选取包含典型地物的局部卫星影像构建路标基准影像库;其次,采用局部点特征描述子对卫星影像与路标基准影像库进行亚像素提取与匹配,确定同名像点,然后为提升同名像点匹配精度,提出了顾及空间关系与几何一致性约束的匹配策略,继而,对卫星影像与路标基准影像库的匹配像点进行内插计算,获取同名像点的地理空间坐标;最后,通过差值计算得到卫星影像相对路标基准影像的偏移参数,完成几何偏差估计和可行性分析。本文以我国风云卫星为例,选取包含海岸线、湖泊、山脉、河流及岛屿的局部卫星影像集构建路标基准影像库,并选用SIFT、SURF、ORB 3个局部特征进行测试分析。测试结果表明,基于局部特征匹配策略对卫星影像几何偏差估计的系统误差小于0.1像素,定量地证明了局部特征匹配方法对卫星影像几何偏差估计的可行性。  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Researchers are continually finding new applications of satellite images because of the growing number of high-resolution images with wide spatial coverage. However, the cost of these images is sometimes high, and their temporal resolution is relatively coarse. Crowdsourcing is an increasingly common source of data that takes advantage of local stakeholder knowledge and that provides a higher frequency of data. The complementarity of these two data sources suggests there is great potential for mutually beneficial integration. Unfortunately, there are still important gaps in crowdsourced satellite image analysis by means of crowdsourcing in areas such as land cover classification and emergency management. In this paper, we summarize recent efforts, and discuss the challenges and prospects of satellite image analysis for geospatial applications using crowdsourcing. Crowdsourcing can be used to improve satellite image analysis and satellite images can be used to organize crowdsourced efforts for collaborative mapping.  相似文献

The launch of the Very High Resolution (VHR) sensor satellites has paved the way for further exploitation of the capabilities of satellite stereo imaging for many applications. The objective of this paper is to evaluate the level of accuracy that can be achieved by using stereo satellite images for different applications involving significantly different types of terrain. Three mathematical models for satellite sensor modeling are used: Rational Function Model (RFM), 3D polynomial model, and 3D affine model. Three stereo pairs of image datasets are tested from different satellites for different areas: (a) Indian Remote Sensing (IRS)-1D stereo images for topographic mapping and digital terrain elevation modeling for an area in Egypt; (b) IKONOS stereo images for highway alignments extraction in Toronto, Canada; and (c) IKONOS stereo images for topographic mapping and geometric parameter extraction for highway alignments in Hong Kong, China. The accuracy was evaluated by comparing the results of the data extracted using stereo satellite images and those extracted from conventional techniques, including Global Positioning System, field measurements, and aerial photogrammetry. The accuracy of the extracted features was found to be within a pixel-level. The results of this paper should be of interest to professionals from different disciplines exploring the use and accuracy of satellite stereo images for topographic and transportation applications.  相似文献

TDI-CCD相机是当今高分辨卫星系统的主要成像载荷。由于TDI的特殊成像机理,为了确保图像清晰,需要在轨实时调整每一行积分时间。这里以天绘一号多片交错式TDI-CCD高分辨相机为研究对象,推导了行积分时间跳变与相邻CCD重叠区同名点视差变化的关系,表明由于行时跳变造成的同名点错位最大可达6像素。针对存在行时跳变的卫星影像,可以在沿轨方向以行时均衡为标准进行一维重采样,实验表明该方法可以较好地消除行时跳变造成的视差错位,从而为高精度的影像拼接创造条件。  相似文献

The spectroradiometric retrieved reflectance of a local crop, namely, beans (Phaseolus vulgaris), is directly compared to the reflectance of Landsat 5TM and 7ETM+ atmospherically corrected and uncorrected satellite images. Also, vegetation indices from the same satellite images—atmospherically corrected and uncorrected—are compared with the corresponding vegetation indices produced from field measurements using a spectroradiometer. Vegetation Indices are vital in the estimation of crop evapotransiration under standard conditions (ETc) because they are used in stochastic or empirical models for describing crop canopy parameters such as the Leaf Area Index (LAI) or crop height. ETc is finally determined using the FAO Penman-Monteith method adapted to satellite data, and is used to examine the impact of atmospheric effects. Regarding the reflectance comparison, the main problem was observed in Band 4 of Landsat 5TM and 7ETM+, where the difference, for uncorrected images, was more than 20% and statistically significant. Results regarding ETc show that omission or ineffective atmospheric corrections in Landsat 5TM,/7ETM+ satellite images always results in a water deficit when estimating crop water demand. Diminished estimated crop water requirements can result in a reduction in output or, if critical, crop failure. The paper seeks to illustrate the importance of removing atmospheric effects from satellite images designated for hydrological purposes.  相似文献

The Nisyros Volcano (Greece) was monitored by satellite and ground thermal imaging during the period 2000–2002. Three night-scheduled Landsat-7 ETM+ thermal (band 6) images of Nisyros Island were processed to obtain land surface temperature. Ground temperature data were also collected during one of the satellite overpasses. Processed results involving orthorectification and 3-D atmospheric correction clearly show the existence of a thermal anomaly inside the Nisyros Caldera. This anomaly is associated mainly with the largest hydrothermal craters and has land surface temperatures 5–10 °C warmer than its surroundings. The ground temperature generally increased by about 4 °C inside the main crater over the period 2000–2002. Ground thermal images of the hydrothermal Stephanos Crater were also collected in 2002 using a portable thermal infrared camera. These images were calibrated to ground temperature data and orthorectified. A difference of about 0–2 °C was observed between the ground thermal images and the ground temperature data. The overall study demonstrates that satellite remote sensing of low-temperature fumarolic fields within calderas can provide a reliable long-term monitoring tool of dormant volcanoes that have the potential to reactivate. Similarly, a portable thermo-imager can easily be deployed for real-time monitoring using telemetric data transfer. The operational costs for both systems are relatively low for an early warning system.  相似文献

遥感探测可应用于大尺度环境之研究、规划及经营管理,故为探讨自然资源动态变迁之良好工具,惟现行影像来源与分类方法众多,研究者如何视其需要选择最佳组合,实有探讨之必要。本研究以SPOT及IKONOS两种不同空间解析力之卫星影像为材料,配合不同分类方法探讨台湾地区垦丁公园不同植群社会之空间分布信息,其结果均证实可行。而由研究过程发现,不同影像使用不同分类方法,其分类准确度有所差异,其中IKONOS影像因具有较高之空间解析力,有时反而容易造成影像分类的误授、漏授;而绿色植生部分尚无法由卫星影像之波谱值完全区隔,因此分类之精度仍有待精进。就影像分类而言,良好的训练样区配合正确的分类方法,可迅速获得一定准确度以上之分类结果,惟有时限于分类别的影像波谱值过于接近及各种地形效应、辐射效应之影响,会造成影像分类结果有误授、漏授及破碎化之情形产生,若能有效克服此一问题,则影像分类之成果将可提高其实用性。  相似文献

针对卫星云图数据量大,但传输通道和存储空间相对狭小的问题,本文基于Tetrolet变换,利用相邻时次云图的时空相关性,实现了一种高重构质量的卫星云图压缩感知方法。该方法将善于表达图像方向纹理及边缘信息的Tetrolet变换引入压缩感知的稀疏表示环节,从而很好地体现了卫星云图细节丰富、纹理结构复杂的特性;同时,考虑到卫星云图序列间的相关性,将时间相邻的卫星云图组成图像组,以中间时刻云图作为参考图像,计算其与相邻时次云图的差异,通过在参考图片及序列差异图片间合理分配采样率,获取测量数据,在压缩感知框架下,采用带平滑处理的投影Landweber算法,重构出相邻时次的图像组。实验结果表明,Tetrolet变换适用于卫星云图的稀疏表示,而且图像组时空相关性的利用可显著提高重构云图的视觉效果及客观评价指标;在采样率低于0.2时,红外1、水汽和可见光3个通道重构云图的峰值信噪比(PSNR)较传统方法平均提高了7.48 dB,13.51 dB和6.15 dB。由此可见,本文方法可以通过获取少数随机测量值,重构出高质量的卫星云图,不仅为云图数据的低比特率压缩提供了一种可行的解决方案,而且对于其他序列图像的压缩采样具有借鉴意义。  相似文献
