太阳X射线爆发引起电离层D区的突然扰动(SID),直接影响低频天波信号的传播。本文给出了由SID所引起的低频灭波信号幅度与相位突然异常的部分观测结果,分析了对利用天波甚至可能对利用地波定时、校频产生的影响,并提出了减小这种影响的方法。  相似文献

基于临潼(34°22'N,109°13'E)对来自冲绳(26°36'N,128°09'E)的100kHz低频一跳天波的时延及场强的实测,并利用相应的地磁扰动等资料、进行了有关低频天波信号变化与地磁活动的关系的分析研究。结果表明:(1)当地磁扰动的日平均指数较高时,低频天波信号的时延、场强的变化也较为明显;(2)磁暴达主相的当日,低频天波信号的时延、场强大多有明显变化,并且对延、场强的变化还与低频天线反射点处于白天还是夜晚有关,若处于夜晚,天演变化较大。若处于白天,变化较小;(3)在磁暴初相时,低频天波信号的时延、场强无明显的变化;(4)低频一跳天渡时延变化值与磁暴主相最大变幅H值有较好的正相关。  相似文献

嫦娥四号着陆器将搭载低频射电频谱仪在月球背面进行低频射电天文观测,低频射电频谱仪的观测波段为0.1~40 MHz。根据着陆器在中国空间技术研究院的微波暗室进行的电磁兼容性试验结果,着陆器平台在该频段内自身存在非常强的噪声,其强度甚至淹没大部分来自太阳爆发的信号,难以探测有效信号,实现预期的科学目标。通过模拟仿真分析谱减法、维纳滤波及自适应滤波3种方法对着陆器噪声消除的效果,从而选择更为有效的噪声消除方法,为低频射电频谱仪在轨探测任务的数据处理提供依据。  相似文献

月基低频天线是近年来射电天文技术领域的研究热点之一。由于地球电离层的屏蔽,频率在30 MHz以下的电波在地面上难以有效观测。月球表面尤其是月球背面被证实是进行低频射电天文观测的绝佳地点。通过对国内外月基低频天线研究现状的调研,阐述了月基低频天线相较地基低频天线在低频射电观测上的优势,介绍了月基低频天线国内外研究的现状,详细论述了国家天文台月球与深空探测重点实验室的交叉偶极子阵列天线设计方案。利用电磁仿真软件HFSS对该阵列天线进行了建模和仿真,给出了仿真结果。仿真结果表明,交叉偶极子阵列天线具有较高的增益,方向性较好,具有分辨来波方向的能力。最后介绍了月基低频天线的关键技术,为了满足航天器有效载荷小型化、轻量化、可折叠的设计要求,给出了交叉偶极子阵列天线单元的一种卷尺型设计方式。  相似文献

通过实际天测得到的日长变化资料的分析研究,证实了将非线笥的跳步时间序列分析模型(LSTSA)结合到小波变换中,能够有效削弱小波变换中时频谱的端部畸变效应,显提高对低频信号的检测能力。LSTSA模型将对不上波变换中时频谱技术的更好、更广泛的应用作出一定的贡献。  相似文献

地基太阳望远镜磁像仪在进行偏振测量时会受到大气湍流的影响,导致测量结果不准确。通过同步探测波前像差,对太阳窄带偏振图像退卷积重建的方法可以克服窄带滤光器带来的偏振测量通道光子数水平较低等问题,将高分辨图像重建算法应用到太阳偏振图像的重建中。在重建过程中,波前估计不准确会导致重建的偏振图像受到I的串扰,与真实的偏振信号之间存在一定偏差。为了研究同步重建过程中波前复原精度对偏振图像重建精度的影响,通过建立仿真模型,对不同视宁度和不同波前复原精度下I对偏振信号的串扰进行了仿真。结果表明,偏振图像的重建质量与波前复原精度正相关,在一定的条件下,增加用于图像重建的帧数和降低图像分辨率等方法也可以降低I对偏振信号的串扰。  相似文献

We investigate the Luminosity Function(LF)of the cluster of galaxies Abell 566.The photometric data of 15 intermediate-bands are obtained from the Beijing-Arizona- Taiwan-Connecticut(BATC)photometric sky survey.For each of the 15 wavebands,the LF of cluster galaxies is well modelled by the Schechter function,with characteristic luminosi- ties from-18.0 to-21.9 magnitude,from the a- to the p-band.Morphological dependence of the LF is investigated by separating the cluster members into‘red’and‘blue’subsamples. It is clear that late type galaxies have a steeper shape of LF than the early type galaxies.We also divided the sample galaxies by their local environment.It was found that galaxies in the sparser region have steeper shape of LF than galaxies in the denser region.Combining the results of morphological and environmental dependence of LFs,we show that Abell 566 is a well relaxed cluster with positive evidence of galaxy interaction and merger,and excess number of bright early type galaxies located in its denser region.  相似文献

To determine the exact shape of the luminosity function (LF) of galaxies is one of the central problems in galactic astronomy and observational cosmology. The most popular method to estimate the LF is maximum likelihood, which is clearly understood with the concepts of the information theory. In the field of information theory and statistical inference, great advance has been made by the discovery of Akaike's Information Criterion (AIC). It enables us to perform a direct comparison among different types of model swith different numbers of parameters, and provides us a common basis of the model adequacy. In this paper we applied AIC to the determination of the shape of the LF. We first treated the estimation using stepwise LF(Efstathiou, Ellis and Peterson,1988), and derived a formula to obtain the optimal bin number. In addition, we studied the method to compare the goodness-of-fit of the parametric form (Sandage, Tamman and Yahil, 1979) with stepwise LF. Black holes release energy via the production of photons in their accretion discs but also via the acceleration of jets. We investigate the relative importance of these two paths over cosmic time by determining the mechanical luminosity function (LF) of radio sources and by comparing it to a previous determination of the bolometric LF of active galactic nuclei (AGN) from X-ray, optical and infrared observations. The mechanical LF of radio sources is computed in two steps: the determination of the mechanical luminosity as a function of the radio luminosity and its convolution with the radio LF of radio sources. Even with the large uncertainty deriving from the former, we can conclude that the contribution of jets is unlikely to be much larger than ∼10 per cent of the AGN energy budget at any cosmic epoch.  相似文献

Nuclear magnitudes of Seyfert galaxies, determined from two-dimensional photometric data, are used to make an estimate of the luminosity function (LF) of Seyfert nuclei. This provides a direct observational check of two indirect determinations of this LF, one of which is favoured by the present result. Comparisons with the Seyfert LF for integrated magnitudes, the local quasar LF, and the LF of field galaxies, are discussed.  相似文献

From as early as the 1930s, astronomers have tried to quantify the statistical nature of the evolution and large-scale structure of galaxies by studying their luminosity distribution as a function of redshift—known as the galaxy luminosity function (LF). Accurately constructing the LF remains a popular and yet tricky pursuit in modern observational cosmology where the presence of observational selection effects due to e.g. detection thresholds in apparent magnitude, colour, surface brightness or some combination thereof can render any given galaxy survey incomplete and thus introduce bias into the LF.  相似文献

We determine the companion galaxy luminosity function (LF) for regions around isolated spiral galaxies. If we assume that any excess in the galaxy number counts in the vicinity of a spiral galaxy is due to galaxies at the same distance, then a system LF can be determined from the variation of excess numbers with apparent magnitude. By studying the excess over many field 'centre' galaxies, a good statistical accuracy can be obtained for the companion galaxy LF. Since redshift information is not required for the faint galaxies, it is possible to sample further down the LF as compared with redshift surveys. For 23 primary galaxies of known redshift, we find a dwarf satellite Schechter LF with a characteristic magnitude M V *( D )≃−19 and a faint-end slope α=−1.7, down to MV =−14 ( H 0=50 km s−1 Mpc−1).  相似文献

We present the results of a study of the morphology of the dwarf galaxy population in Abell 868, a rich, intermediate-redshift     cluster which has a galaxy luminosity function (LF) with a steep faint-end slope     . A statistical background subtraction method is employed to study the     colour distribution of the cluster galaxies. This distribution suggests that the galaxies contributing to the faint-end of the measured cluster LF can be split into three populations: dwarf irregular galaxies (dIrrs) with     dwarf elliptical galaxies (dEs) with     and contaminating background giant ellipticals (gEs) with     . The removal of the contribution of the background gEs from the counts only marginally lessens the faint-end slope     . However, the removal of the contribution of the dIrrs from the counts produces a flat LF     . The dEs and the dIrrs have similar spatial distributions within the cluster, except that the dIrrs appear to be totally absent within a central projected radius of about 0.2 Mpc     . The number densities of both dEs and dIrrs appear to fall off beyond a projected radius of ≃ 0.35 Mpc. We suggest that the dE and dIrr populations of A868 have been associated with the cluster for similar time-scales, but evolutionary processes such as 'galaxy harassment' tend to fade the dIrr galaxies while having a much smaller effect on the dE galaxies. The harassment would be expected to have the greatest effect on dwarfs residing in the central parts of the cluster.  相似文献

We present observations of the eruption of a large-scale quiescent filament(LF) that is associated with the formation and eruption of a miniature filament(MF). As a result of convergence and subsequent cancelation of opposite-polarity magnetic flux, MF was formed just below the spine of the LF's right segment. Probably triggered by a nearby newly emerging flux, MF underwent a failed eruption immediately after its full development, which first ejected away from the spine of LF and then drained back to the Sun.This eruption no sooner started than the overlying LF's right segment began to rise slowly and the LF's other parts were also disturbed, and eventually the whole LF erupted bodily and quickly. These observations suggest that the MF can serve as an intermediary that links the photospheric small-scale magnetic-field activities to the eruption of the overlying large filament. It appears that, rather than directly interacting with the supporting magnetic field of LF, small-scale flux cancelation and emergence in the LF's channel can manifest themselves as the formation and eruption of MF and so indirectly affect the stability of LF.  相似文献

We present a measurement of the K -band luminosity function (LF) of field galaxies obtained from near-infrared imaging of a sample of 345 galaxies selected from the Stromlo-APM Redshift Survey. The LF is reasonably well fitted over the 10-mag range −26 M K −16 by a Schechter function with parameters α =−1.16±0.19, M *=−23.58±0.42 and φ *=0.012±0.008 Mpc−3, assuming a Hubble constant of H 0=100 km s−1 Mpc−1. We have also estimated the LF for two subsets of galaxies subdivided by the equivalent width of the H α emission line at EW(H α )=10 Å. There is no significant difference in LF shape between the two samples, although there is a hint (∼1 σ significance) that emission-line galaxies (ELGs) have M * roughly 1 mag fainter than non-ELGs. Contrary to the optical LF, there is no difference in faint-end slope α between the two samples.  相似文献

The luminosity function (LF) of galaxies in different environments is studied. A method proposed by the author is used to determine the LF of galaxies. It is found that the luminosity functions of galaxies of different morphological types in single galaxies and small groups do not differ greatly. The luminosity functions of galactic clusters differ greatly from the analogous functions for other systems. A relatively large number of faint galaxies is observed in clusters. Groups with low dispersions in their radial velocities and with small average pairwise distances between the members contain relatively many faint galaxies and relatively few bright galaxies compared to groups with large dispersions in their radial velocities and large average pairwise distances between members. This applies to elliptical and lenticular galaxies, as well as to spiral and irregular galaxies.  相似文献
