A method to calculate the resistivity transform of Schlumberger VES curves has been developed. It consists in approximating the field apparent resistivity data by utilizing a linear combination of simple functions, which must satisfy the following requirements: (i) they must be suitable for fitting the resistivity data; (ii) once the fitting function has been obtained they allow the kernel to be determined in an analytic way. The fitting operation is carried out by the least mean squares method, which also accomplishes a useful smoothing of the field curve (and therefore a partial noise filtering). It gives the possibility of assigning different weights to the apparent resistivity values to be approximated according to their different reliability. For several examples (theoretical resistivity curves in order to estimate the precision of the method and with field data to verify the practicality) yield good results with short execution time independent of shape the apparent resistivity curve.  相似文献

Two-layer type curves of apparent frequency effect for the Wenner configuration are presented. The formulation is based on the normal definition of frequency effect in terms of resistivities measured at different frequencies plus the definition of apparent resistivity over two horizontal layers as a function of first and second layer resistivities. The use of these type curves in the interpretation of multilayer apparent frequency-effect curves is described and some field examples are given.  相似文献

The interpretation of vertical electrical sounding data can be facilitated by the application of the reciprocal geoelectric section. If an apparent resistivity field curve has a descending right end, the apparent resistivity curve of the reciprocal geoelectric section can be obtained by the application of linear filter theory; from this the total transverse resistance of the geoelectric section can be calculated without having to interpret the field curve. In addition, Orellana's auxiliary point method can now be extended to interpret three and four layer apparent resistivity curves of all types. This paper summarizes the properties of the resistivity transform curve, the apparent resistivity curve, and the apparent resistivity curve of the reciprocal geoelectric section, with several new applications.  相似文献

本文研究了三层介质中膨胀球模拟震源的应力、应变场以及由这个应力、应变场产生的电阻率变化量和地表视电阻率变化的关系。结果表明,对于一定强度的“震源”,在地电装置探测范围内的应力场随具有不同弹性参数的层位有显著的变化;而应变场却看不出有明显的突变;由地表视电阻率变化量的计算结果揭示了地电异常受台站介质电性结构与力学结构的综合影响。因此作为预报地震的地电阻率法一方面要寻找具有高电阻率——应变灵敏度岩层的台址,另一方面台址的视电阻率变化对各层真电阻率变化要具有好的响应。  相似文献

The indirect method of interpreting resistivity data is capable only of limited success because of the difficulty of calculating type curves for complex structures. Consequently a need arises for a direct method of interpretation for complex generalized structures. Such a technique for the direct interpretation of apparent resistivity data, obtained by electrical soundings carried out over two-dimensional structures, has been developed from an examination of the Hankel transform of such data. The method is based on the observation that the asymptotic expansion of the Hankel transform is critically dependent upon the minimum distance between the measuring device and the surface of discontinuity in resistivity. The variation in the across strike direction may be mapped by a sequence of depth soundings made parallel to each other and separated in the across strike direction.  相似文献

利用有限元2.5维可控源音频大地电磁法(简称CSAMT)数值模拟方法,对100Ωm均匀半空间介质中有限长度的电偶极源产生的电场、磁场及视电阻率、相位特征进行了数值模拟,研究了场的空间变化规律. 在一个象限中,场的特征存在双叶现象,当收发距大于4个趋肤深度时,电阻率较接近介质真实的电阻率,这些结果为观测系统和收发距的选择提供了依据. 波数域场的特征表明,低波数对源的贡献占较大的比例. 有限元法2.5维CSAMT数值模拟的优势在于能较准确地获得复杂介质结构的波场特征. 本文结合直立异常体、倾斜异常体及断陷模型对CSAMT电阻率、相位剖面特征及频率曲线特征的可靠性进行了研究. 数值模拟结果直观地给出了异常体的剖面异常形态. 通过对比研究异常体的剖面异常形态和半空间场的特征进一步说明本文方法和软件在模拟复杂介质结构场特征时是可靠的. 这为认识观测数据,指导反演解释提供了较好的依据.  相似文献

In this paper a theorem is demonstrated which allows—after the introduction of a suitable dipole kernel function or dipole resistivity transform function—to write the apparent resistivity function as an Hankel transformable integral expression. As a practical application of the theorem a procedure of quantitative interpretation of dipole soundings is suggested in which the dipole resistivity transform function obtained after inversion of the original dipole apparent resistivity data is used to control the goodness of the set of layering parameters which have been derived with our previous method of transformation of dipole sounding curves into equivalent Schlumberger diagrams.  相似文献

A new definition of apparent resistivity for the presentation of magnetotelluric sounding data is proposed. The new definition is based on the frequency-normalized impedance function. Both the existing and proposed definitions of apparent resistivity are analysed theoretically and are compared using model curves computed for a 1D earth model. Apparent resistivity curves computed using the proposed definition are a better approximation to the true resistivity values of the subsurface layers. In addition, the layers are more noticeable on the apparent resistivity curves, which is an advantage, especially for the ascending and descending type of apparent resistivity curve.  相似文献

Parts of the consecutive apparent resistivity monitoring stations of China have recorded clear diurnal variations. The relative amplitudes of diurnal variations at these stations range from 1.3‰ to 5.8‰. The daily accuracies of apparent resistivity observation are better than 1‰, because the background electromagnetic noise is rather low at these stations. Therefore, the diurnal variations of apparent resistivity recorded at these stations are real phenomena. The diurnal variation shapes can be divided into two opposite types according to their characteristics. One type is that the apparent resistivity data decreases during the daytime but increases during the nighttime(Type 1). The other type is the apparent resistivity data increases during the daytime but decreases during the nighttime(Type 2). There is a correspondence between the diurnal and annual variation patterns of apparent resistivity. For the monitoring direction with diurnal variation of Type 1, the apparent resistivity decreases in summer and increases in winter. However, for the monitoring direction with diurnal variation of Type 2, the apparent resistivity increases in summer and decreases in winter. We take an analysis on the mechanism of apparent resistivity diurnal variation, combining the influence factors of water-bearing medium's resistivity, the electric structure of stations, and the apparent resistivity sensitivity coefficient(SC)theory. Intuitively, diurnal variation of apparent resistivity is caused by diurnal variation of medium resistivity in the measured area. The diurnal variation of medium resistivity will inevitably be caused by the factors with diurnal variation. Among the possible factors, there is diural variation in earth tide and temperature. Our analysis displays that apparent resistivity diurnal variation is not caused by the usually-believed earth tide, but by the ground temperature difference between daytime and nighttime. The earth tide strain is too small to cause remarkable effects on the apparent resistivity data. On the other hand, the daily tide strain has two peak-valley variations, and its phase and amplitude has a period of approximate 28 days. However, the apparent resistivity data do not show these corresponding features to earth tide. Furthermore, the detection range of current apparent resistivity stations is within a depth of several hundred meters. Within this depth range, the medium deformation caused by solid tide can be regarded as uniform change. Therefore, all monitoring directions and all stations will have the same pattern of diurnal variation. In general, the temperature increases in the daytime but decreases in the nighttime. For most water-bearing rock and soil medium, its resistivity decreases as temperature increases and increases as temperature decreases. Diurnal temperature difference affects about 0.4m of soil depth. Therefore, resistivity of this surface thin soil layer decreases in the daytime while increases in the nighttime. Under layered medium model, SC of each layer represents its contribution to the apparent resistivity. For the stations with positive SC of surface layer, apparent resistivity decreases in the daytime but increases in the nighttime. While for the stations with negative SC of surface layer, apparent resistivity diurnal variations display the opposite shape.  相似文献

A simple unified equation of apparent resistivity for a general four-electrode array is developed. The main idea is the analytical integration of the Stefanescu expression for potential over a layered earth by writing an exponential approximation for the kernel function. Finally a matrix equation is developed to estimate the kernel function from observed apparent resistivity values. The general equation automatically reduces to the particular configuration once the electrode separations are modified suitably. Examples for Schlumberger and Wenner configurations are numerically calculated to estimate the precision of the method. Good results in a short execution time are obtained, irrespective of the shape of the apparent resistivity curve. Finally, the full interpretation of one theoretical resistivity curve and two field resistivity curves is demonstrated. The more stable ridge-regression estimation method is used in the identification of layer parameters from the kernel function.  相似文献

This paper deals with the apparent resistivity as observed on the surface due to a dyke of arbitrary shape. In order to give a closed analytical solution it has been necessary to assume that the dyke is either perfectly conductive or resistive relative to the enclosing medium. Furthermore we have considered an infinite line source instead of a conventional point current source; however a simple integral transform is given to transform the point-source-data into the line-source-data. So the present study is equally useful where line sources are inconvenient to handle. Besides considering the conventional method of electrical surveying (bipole method) where the source and sink are separated by a finite distance, we have considered a new variation (unipole method) where the source and sink are separated by an infinite distance, and the source is split into two separate sources each of half strength. A series of apparent resistivity curves for both methods are presented for different parameters of the dyke. The usefulness of these curves lies mainly in the fact that they may provide the necessary guide-lines for semi-quantitative interpretation of the observed data.  相似文献

A theory for the bipole-dipole method of resistivity sounding is developed. Bipole-dipole apparent resistivities are related to Schlumberger apparent resistivities at two spacings. The theory can also be used to compute exact dipole-dipole apparent resistivity curves providing an improvement over the existing techniques which involve far field approximations. A comparison of bipole-dipole and dipole-dipole systems reveals the similarity between the two. However, the resolution of the bipole-dipole system depends on the azimuth angle. The flexibility of the theoretical expressions lead to a generalized field scheme independent of the bipolar or dipolar nature of the current source.  相似文献

Theory of the pole-dipole resistivity sounding technique and its application in the hard rock areas for shallow groundwater exploration is presented in this paper. The different components of electric field produced by the point source of current, situated over the ground surface, are measured by a dipole placed at a large distance from the source. The theory of the method is rather simple, suggesting two configurations, namely radial pole-dipole and axial pole-dipole. Theoretical expressions derived for the apparent resistivity over layered Earth are directly related to the Schlumberger apparent resistivity, whereas expressions for geometrical factor for pole-dipole and Schlumberger configuration are different. The proposed technique has been tested in actual field conditions having different rock types. A few examples are presented along with Schlumberger sounding curves which confirm the applicability of the proposed sounding technique.  相似文献
