Ophiolite belts and the collision of island arcs in the Arabian Shield   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
The Arabian Shield is divided into several segments by ophiolite zones. The segments display features of island arcs with respect to their magmatic evolution as well as their mineralization.The northern part of the “Hulayfah—Hamdah ophiolite belt” which cuts the Arabian Shield in a north—southerly direction, has been sampled and described. Serpentinized ultramafics, gabbros, doleritic dike rocks and basalts are the most important members. The ophiolite belt is marked by magnetic anomalies with amplitudes of 200–500 gammas.In conclusion, the Arabian Shield is considered to be built up of several generations of juxtaposed volcanic arcs of Late Proterozoic age. The arcs have been closely swept together squeezing out the trench-fill sediments in the case of the Hulayfah—Hamdah belt. Cratonization was completed by the end of the Precambrian.  相似文献

High-precision temperature logging in deep and superdeep wells has permitted the study of the thermal regime in the granite–gneiss layer of the Earth's crust. The long-term logging works have allowed the classification of temperature anomalies recorded in the crystalline basement. Most anomalies have been supposed to be caused by loosely aggregated, permeable zones. The classification reflects main types of processes at a great depth — such as injection, inflow and upward migration of gas-cut fluid. The results of great practical importance are obtained using our classification: some intervals — where temperature anomalies interpreted as inflow reservoirs were revealed — have produced fluid, and others interpreted as injection reservoirs absorbed borehole fluid during tests.  相似文献

Stable-isotope profiles show that flat-lying marble units acted as impermeable barriers to upward fluid flow in transitional amphibolite-granulite grade rocks of the Kigluaik Mountains, Seward Peninsula, Alaska. The degree of permeability is related to the composition of the marble. The margin of a thick pure dolomite marble chemically reacted with underlying metasyenite (aH2O=0.2) to form a 2 cm boundary layer of calcite + forsterite by introduction of SiO2. No fluid penetrated past this reaction front, although the high temperature of metamorphism (800°C) allowed transport of carbon and oxygen isotopes for an additional 2 cm by diffusion through the solid dolomite. A second marble with a higher silica content underwent more decarbonation, which enhanced porosity and lead to a greater extent of isotope transport (2–3 m) in contact with quartzo-feld-spathic gneiss below. An estimate of total fluid flux across the bottom of this marble layer based on the shape of the isotope profile is 1 cm3/cm2 directed down, out of the marble. At two other marble-gneiss contacts steep isotopic gradients coincide with lithologic contacts, indicating very little cross-lithology fluid flow. The extent of diffusional transport of isotopes in the marbles is limited and interpreted as indicating the transient presence of a pore fluid, generated by thermally driven devolatilization reactions. No wholesale pervasive advection of C-O-H fluid occurred across the thick, continuous, marble units near the exposed base of the Kigluaik Group section during the entire regional metamorphic cycle. Activities of pore-fluid species were controlled by internal processes. Movement of volatiles and stable-isotopes between contrasting rock-types was dominantly diffusive. Channelized fluid pathways through the marble units developed during uplift and cooling but were not present during peak metamorphism. Heating of the section occurred by conduction, probably from an underlying magma source, and not by advection of a C-O-H fluid.  相似文献

In the Lake Léré region, southern Chad, Neoproterozoic terrains are distributed in four lithostructural groups that reveal the geotectonic evolution of a part of the Pan-African orogenic domain. The first group includes basaltic volcanic rocks and fine-grained detrital sedimentary rocks of pre-tectonic basins that were emplaced in an extensional regime, close to a volcanic arc. The second and third groups include calc-alkaline gabbroic intrusions emplaced at an upper crustal level and a midcrustal tonalite, respectively, that are interpreted to be the roots of an active margin volcanic arc. These first three groups experienced WNW to ESE compression, and may belong to a fore-arc basic—volcanic arc—back-arc basin system that was accreted eastward to the Palaeoproterozoic Adamaoua-Yadé Block. The fourth group includes post-tectonic granite plutons invading the older groups. This paper documents the accretion processes in the southern margin of the Saharan Metacraton.  相似文献

在乌拉特后旗—达茂旗—四子王旗一带的内蒙古中部地区分布着超基性-酸性连续岩浆系列,开展其岩体年代学、地球化学研究可为内蒙古中部地区与超基性-基性岩有关的铜镍矿成矿规律研究提供基础地质资料,还可以推断岩浆侵位时期的区域大地构造背景。本文以达茂旗黄花滩铜镍矿区出露的辉长岩为研究对象,采用LA-ICP-MS仪器对无裂隙、高透明度、阴极发光均匀、环带清晰的锆石进行U-Pb定年,获得岩体加权平均年龄为262.4±1.1 Ma,并利用XRF和ICP-MS进行岩石地球化学分析显示黄花滩辉长岩具有后碰撞拉伸环境下的岩浆特征。综合前人相关研究认为,内蒙古中部地区于中二叠世晚期(255~275 Ma)已经进入后碰撞构造阶段,而古亚洲洋在该区域的闭合应发生在晚二叠世前(~285 Ma),此结论丰富了古亚洲洋闭合时间上限及中晚二叠世期间内蒙古中部地区构造背景方面的证据。  相似文献

内蒙古狼山地区乌花辉长岩体主要由橄榄辉长岩和角闪辉长岩组成,其锆石LA-ICP-MS U-Pb同位素测年结果表明,岩体形成于(319.8±1.8)~(325.4±1.6) Ma,属于早石炭世末期岩浆活动的产物。地球化学特征上,乌花辉长岩属低钾钙碱性玄武岩系列,具有较高的Mg#(多在76.70~80.35之间)、Al2O3(13.55%~25.13%)和较低的TiO2(0.18%~1.35%)。稀土总含量较低(∑REE= 8.92×10-6~40.10×10-6),稀土元素分馏程度不高,呈现出轻稀土元素(LREE)略微富集、重稀土元素(HREE)相对亏损((La/Yb)N = 1.74~3.06)的特点,Eu呈明显的正异常(δEu=1.156~3.86)。岩石富集Pb和K、Rb、Ba、Sr等大离子亲石元素,明显亏损Nb、Ta、Zr、Hf、Th等高场强元素,较低的Zr含量(4.38×10-6~26.6×10-6)和Zr/Y比值(1.08~2.35),呈现出典型的俯冲-消减带弧火山岩的地球化学特征。Sr-Nd-Hf同位素研究表明,乌花辉长岩岩浆源区为富集地幔,在侵位过程中受到的地壳混染程度较弱。结合区域地质背景,认为乌花辉长岩为俯冲-消减构造体制下由俯冲带流体交代富集地幔部分熔融而成,代表了俯冲相对早期阶段的产物,指示华北板块北缘西段在早石炭世晚期开始进入到安第斯型活动大陆边缘阶段,并可能结束于早二叠世之前。  相似文献

Abstract. Isotope composition of whole rock sulfur has been measured on 14 schists, 10 gneisses, 7 gabbroids, 7 granitoids and 2 sedimentary rocks, with of 9 sulfide (pyrite) sulfurs in gabbros and granitoids, from the southwestern part of the Ryeongnam Massif, Korea. The δ34S values of schists range from -4.6 to +6.1 % (average +0.9 %), those of gneisses from -4.0 to +0.8 % (-1.9%), those of gabbroids from -2.3 to +3.7 % (+1.0 %), and those of granitoids from -5.9 to +3.2 % (-1.9 %). The δ34S values of pyrite separated from gabbros and granitoids show rather heavier values ranging from +3.1 to +9.4 % with an average of+5.8%.
Though the δ34S values of whole rock sulfur give wide range of -5.9 to +6.1 %, the average of about -0.5 % is close to the mantle value. The granitoids sampled at the central parts of intrusive bodies or at the contacts with other plutonic rocks tend to show positive values, while those sampled near the boundary with basement rocks such as granitic gneiss and por-phyroblastic gneiss show negative values. Though the reason of this tendency is not clear at present, the δ34S values of some granitoids in this area seem to represent possible influence by the assimilation of country rocks, particularly of gneisses.
Average isotopic compositions of ore sulfur from individual metal deposits in the studied area are summarized to have a range of+1.0 to +7.8 % with an average value of+3.2 %. The values are consistent with the previous finding that the ore sulfur isotopic values of the Ryeongnam Massif are the lowest among the four tectonic belts in Korea; Gyeonggi Massif, Ogcheon Belt, Ryeongnam Massif, and Gyeongsang Basin. This feature may reflect the isotopic compositions of plutonic rocks and basements in this area, which are characterized by relatively low values around zero permil.  相似文献

首次给出了河南登封—鲁山一带地壳出露剖面岩石高压条件下纵波速度V_p值的实验测定结果。样品分别采自古元古代的安沟群及新太古代的登封群和太华群。静态压力自常压至3000MPa变化。结果表明,岩石的纵波速与岩性关系密切。上、中地壳岩石的V_p 随压力的增加变化范围明显大于下地壳岩石,变质等级的增加伴随着V_p的明显增大,经温度影响校正后的V_p值与位于邻近地区的QB-1地震测深剖面的解释结果吻合很好。  相似文献

对侵位于柴北缘构造带西段达肯大坂岩群中的赛什腾钙碱性系列辉长岩进行了地球化学、年代学研究,结果显示,该辉长岩具有低SiO2、高Al2O3、富MgO及FeOT、贫ALK的特征,且富集LILE元素、亏损HFSE元素,稀土元素配分曲线整体表现为轻稀土元素相对富集、重稀土元素平坦且呈右倾型配分模式,并且低Zr和Zr/Y,指示赛什腾辉长岩形成于活动大陆边缘岛弧环境。锆石LA-ICP-MS U-Pb结晶年龄为271±3 Ma。赛什腾辉长岩原岩岩浆是地幔尖晶石二辉橄榄岩部分熔融的产物,在演化过程中经历了弱的斜长石以及较为明显的单斜辉石的分离结晶作用,并在上升侵位过程中遭受了弱的中上地壳的同化混染作用。结合区域构造演化史以及同时代岩浆岩的年代学和地球化学特征,认为赛什腾辉长岩是中二叠世早期宗务隆洋壳向欧龙布鲁克地块南向俯冲的产物,且宗务隆构造带西段俯冲-碰撞事件明显早于东段,而东西两段俯冲-碰撞时限的差异表明宗务隆洋盆存在西早东晚的"剪刀式闭合"的可能。  相似文献

 Sr isotope profiles across marble-silicate rock contacts are used in conjunction with previously published oxygen isotope profiles to constrain fluid movement, porosity and permeability contrasts in migmatitic rocks from Lizzies Basin in the East Humboldt Range, Nevada. The 18O/16O systematics in the high-grade sequence have been interpreted to reflect infiltration of ∼2×102 m3/m2 of a relatively low 18O hydrous fluid through the sequence, but with preservation of δ18O anomalies in thin marble bands due to a 30-fold lower porosity in the marble compared with silicate rocks (Wickham and Peters 1992). The Sr isotope profiles confirm that tracer exchange between marble and silicate rock was primarily by diffusion, and in one case, indicate that porosities differed by less than a factor of four in the ∼10 cm boundary layer which exhibits diffusive modification of 87Sr/86Sr ratios. This contrasts with modelling of the oxygen isotope profiles which imply porosity contrasts >10 for one marble band and >50 for a second marble band. Either strontium and oxygen isotope diffusion reflect different events (possible if fluid Sr contents varied with time) or porosity varied substantially with the silicate rocks. Oxygen isotope profiles in the deeper part of the metamorphic section in which δ18O values of silicate rocks have been homogenised and lowered, indicate similar diffusion distances (and thus porosity-time evolution) to oxygen isotopic profiles higher in the section. Comparison of strontium and oxygen isotope diffusion distances constrains fluid Sr contents to between ∼50 and ∼500 ppm deep in the section, but less than ∼10 ppm higher in the section. The difference is related to release of relatively saline, Sr-rich fluids, by the abundant leucogranites and associated skarns deep in the section (cf. Peters and Wickham 1995). Hydrothermal alteration of Tertiary gabbros from Skye involved the reaction of igneous olivine, augite, hypersthene, plagioclase, magnetite, and ilmenite with aqueous fluid primarily to combinations of talc, chlorite, montmorillonite, calcic amphibole, biotite, and secondary magnetite. Lesser amounts of calcite, epidote, quartz, sphene, prehnite, and garnet also developed. During mineralogical alteration of gabbro there was a net addition to rock of K, Na, Sr, and H2O and a net loss of Mg. Gabbro was oxidized early in the hydrothermal event and later reduced. Iron and silicon were probably initially lost and later added. There is no evidence for significant change in the Al or Ca content of the gabbros. Hydrothermal alteration of Skye gabbro involved not only large-scale migration of 18O, 16O, D and H but also of K, Na, Sr, Mg, and probably Fe and Si.Mineral thermometry indicates that pyroxenes in the gabbros crystallized at 1000° C–1150° C and were very resistent chemically as well as isotopically to later hydrothermal alteration. Hypothetical equilibrium between primary and secondary mafic silicates suggests that mineralogical alteration of gabbro occurred at 450°–550° C. The lack of correlation between mineralogical and isotopic alteration of gabbro requires that much isotopic alteration occurred at temepratures above those at which the secondary minerals developed, 550°–1000° C. The chemical alteration of gabbro is correlated with its mineralogical alteration and therefore occurred at 450°–550° C.Measured progress of the mineral-fluid reactions was used to estimate the amount of H2O fluid that infiltrated the gabbro as primary olivine was converted to talc+magnetite at 525°–550° C. Calculated fluid-rock ratios are in the range 0.2–6 (volume basis) and are smaller than values estimated from isotopic data (fluid/rock 1–10, volume basis). Both isotopic and petrologic data point to pervasive flow of fluid through crystalline rock at elevated temperatures of 500°–1000° C. Isotopic fluid-rock ratios are larger than petrologic fluid-rock ratios because isotopic alteration of cooling gabbro began earlier and at higher temperatures than did the mineralogical alteration.  相似文献

In the north‐eastern part of the North China Block, a mafic magmatic belt consisting of mafic–ultramafic rocks and marine sedimentary rocks crops out between the northern Archean Anshan Block and a southern Palaeoproterozoic Block. 40Ar/39Ar amphibole ages around 1.9 Ga from gabbros, and trace element analyses of gabbros, pyroxenite and shale show that these rocks formed along a Palaeoproterozoic active continental margin. The mafic magmatic belt is interpreted as an arc developed above a south‐directed subduction zone, which was subsequently overthrust to the north upon the Anshan Archean Block. This study provides a new example agreeing with increasing evidence supporting plate mobility and thrust tectonics during the Palaeoproterozoic. These new insights must be considered with regard to the formation of the North China Block by magmatic accretion and tectonic collision.  相似文献

The occurrence of shock metamorphic features substantiates an impact origin for the 1.85 Ga old Sudbury Structure, but this has not been universally accepted. Recent improvements in knowledge of large-scale impact processes, combined with new petrographic, geochemical, geophysical (LITHOPROBE) and structural data, allow the Sudbury Structure to be interpreted as a multi-ring impact structure. The structure consists of the following lithologies: Sudbury Breccia —dike breccias occurring up to 80 km from the Sudbury Igneous Complex (SIC); Footwall rocks and Footwall Breccia — brecciated, shocked crater floor materials, in part thermally metamorphosed by the overlying SIC; Sublayer and Offset Dikes, Main Mass of the SIC and Basal Member of the Onaping Formation (OF) — geochemically heterogeneous coherent impact melt complex ranging from inclusion-rich basal unit through a dominantly inclusion-free to a capping inclusion-rich impact melt rock; Grey Member of OF — melt-rich impact breccia (suevite); Green Member of OF — thin layer of fall back ejecta; Black Member of OF — reworked and redeposited breccia material; Onwatin and Chelmsford Formations — post-impact sediments. Observational and analytical data support an integrated step-by-step impact model for the genesis of these units. Analysis of the present spatial distribution of various impact-related lithologies and shock metamorphic effects result in an estimated original rim-to-rim diameter of the final crater of 200 or even 280 km for the Sudbury Structure, prior to tectonic thrusting and deformation during the Penokean orogeny.  相似文献

Mineralogical, fluid inclusion and geochemical studies were made on two intra-granitic gold deposits (Grovelas and Penedono), together with a deposit linked to sub-vertical structures in silicified metasediments at Três-Minas, and several intra-metamorphic occurrences at Vila Pouca de Aguiar. They all possess similar mineral assemblages, deformational state, fluid flow characteristics, ore fluid composition and have comparable PT conditions. Three successive crystallisation stages are recorded during the formation of gold-bearing structures independent of their location or host rocks (granites or metasediments). They are:Stage 1 — the development of milky quartz veins that formed primarily after the emplacement of peraluminous two-mica granites (315–310 Ma) at PT conditions reflecting high temperature and low pressure. They are similar to those from pluton induced metamorphism (P=300–350 MPa and T=500–550°C). No clear evidence was found for gold deposition during this stage.Stage 2 — during orogenic uplift and repeated tectonic reactivation a clear quartz was deposited in the early milky quartz veins (Stage 1) at PT conditions between 100 and 300 MPa and 300 and 450°C. Local sulphide deposition (arsenopyrite II and pyrite II) occurred in clear quartz, but was never massive. The fluids percolating within the granite were mainly aqueous-carbonic and reflect equilibrium with the metamorphic host rocks. They are very similar to those found in metamorphic environments. No evidence for the involvement of magmatic fluids was found.Stage 3 — intense microfissuring of the earlier vein infillings occurred, associated with the main episode of gold deposition. The PT conditions were <100 MPa and <300°C based on aqueous fluid inclusions. Native gold and electrum crystallised together with sulphides (galena, chalcopyrite and bismuthinite), native Bi and sulphosalts (Pb–Bi–Ag dominated). The fractures frequently contain chlorite (± sericite) especially where they crosscut earlier sulphides (arsenopyrite).These processes and fluid types are similar in both the granites and metamorphic host rocks. Therefore, the gold ores appear to be the result of successive periods of fluid circulation, in this case related to the uplift of the Variscan basement in response to high heat flow and the intrusion of granites. Without exception, these fluids have been re-equilibrated with the metamorphic rocks. However magmatic fluids are absent; the granites thus act passively as heat engines for fluid circulation.  相似文献

Laboratory studies of 30 samples from 158 m long drill core of the Hole 1105 A (ODP Leg 179) of the Atlantis Bank, Southwest Indian Ridge have revealed magnetic properties of the gabbros, olivine gabbros, oxide gabbros and olivine oxide gabbros down the core. Comparison of modal proportions of the oxides, grain sizes and magnetization parameters of the rocks has confirmed that most coarse-grained oxide mineral bearing rocks record low Koenigsberger ratio (2 to 5) and median destructive fields (5 to 7 mT). Average natural remanent magnetization (Jnrm) and stable remanent magnetization (Jst) of the core samples are 5.8 A/m and 1.9 A/m, respectively. Their mean stable magnetic inclination is 66‡ ± 4‡, about 14‡ steeper than the expected dipole inclination of the area similar to the one reported at Hole 735 B. The excess inclination perhaps marks a tectonic block rotation of the reversely magnetized rocks of the bank. We interpret that gabbros and serpentinites devoid of basaltic carapace significantly contribute to seafloor spreading anomalies of the bank.  相似文献

We present new regional petrologic, geochemical, Sr–Nd isotopic, and U–Pb geochronological data on the Turonian–Campanian mafic igneous rocks of Central Hispaniola that provide important clues on the development of the Caribbean island-arc. Central Hispaniola is made up of three main tectonic blocks—Jicomé, Jarabacoa and Bonao—that include four broad geochemical groups of Late Cretaceous mafic igneous rocks: group I, tholeiitic to calc-alkaline basalts and andesites; group II, low-Ti high-Mg andesites and basalts; group III, tholeiitic basalts and gabbros/dolerites; and group IV, tholeiitic to transitional and alkalic basalts. These igneous rocks show significant differences in time and space, from arc-like to non-arc-like characteristics, suggesting that they were derived from different mantle sources. We interpret these groups as the record of Caribbean arc-rifting and back-arc basin development in the Late Cretaceous. The> 90 Ma group I volcanic rocks and associated cumulate complexes preserved in the Jicomé and Jarabacoa blocks represent the Albian to Cenomanian Caribbean island-arc material. The arc rift stage magmatism in these blocks took place during the deposition of the Restauración Formation from the Turonian–Coniacian transition (~ 90 Ma) to Santonian/Lower Campanian, particularly in its lower part with extrusion at 90–88 Ma of group II low-Ti, high-Mg andesites/basalts. During this time or slightly afterwards adakitic rhyolites erupted in the Jarabacoa block. Group III tholeiitic lavas represent the initiation of Coniacian–Lower Campanian back-arc spreading. In the Bonao block, this stage is represented by back-arc basin-like basalts, gabbros and dolerite/diorite dykes intruded into the Loma Caribe peridotite, as well as the Peralvillo Sur Formation basalts, capped by tuffs, shales and Campanian cherts. This dismembered ophiolitic stratigraphy indicates that the Bonao block is a fragment of an ensimatic back-arc basin. In the Jicomé and Jarabacoa blocks, the mainly Campanian group IV basalts of the Peña Blanca, Siete Cabezas and Pelona–Pico Duarte Formation, represent the subsequent stage of back-arc spreading and off-axis non-arc-like magmatism, caused by migration of the arc toward the northeast. These basalts have geochemical affinities with the mantle domain influenced by the Caribbean plume, suggesting that mantle was flowing toward the NE, beneath the extended Caribbean island-arc, in response to rollback of the subducting proto-Caribbean slab.  相似文献

The Southeast Anatolian ophiolites outcropping in the Southeast Anatolian Orogenic Belt (Southeast of Turkey) mark the closure of the southern branch of the Neotethys Ocean associated with the collision between the Arabian Plate and Anatolian microplate. We present new geochemical, zircon U–Pb age, zircon Lu–Hf, and Sr-Nd isotopic data on the Southeast Anatolian Ophiolites to understand their formation ages, magma genesis, and geotectonic implications. The ophiolites, which are related to island arc igneous rocks, consist of mantle peridotites and crustal rocks (less dunite, gabbros, sheeted dykes, massive, and pillow basalts). The flat rare-earth element (REE) patterns, depletion in Nb and Ta, and enrichment in LILEs (Ba, Rb, Th, Sr, Pb) of gabbros suggest close similarities with very low Ti (boninitic) lavas found in the forearc regions. Using laser ablation inductively coupled plasma–mass spectrometry, zircon separated from leucogabbros, diabase dykes, and plagiogranites yield U-Pb ages of 92 and 83 Ma, which are interpreted to represent the formation ages of the ophiolites. The zircons in the gabbros and plagiogranites are dominated by positive εHf(t) values (between +3.1 and +?17.45) with a few negative εHf(t) values. High εHf(t) features are consistent with derivation from Mid-oceanic Ridge Basalt (MORB)-source mantle. The negative εHf(t) values of the zircons suggest the involvement of subducted sedimentary rocks. The southeast Anatolian ophiolites represent an SSZ-type ophiolite and are part of the Late Cretaceous oceanic lithosphere of the southern branch of the Neotethys Ocean that opened during the Late Triassic and closed during the Late Cretaceous.  相似文献

We present petrographic and geochemical data on representative samples of the Devonian adakite, boninite, low-TiO2 and high-TiO2 basalts and associated rocks in the southern Altay areas, Xinjiang, NW China. These volcanic rocks mostly occur as tectonic blocks within suture zones between the Siberian and Junggar plates. Adakite occurs in the Suoerkuduke area ca. 40 km south of Fuyun, and actually represents a poorly-sorted massive volcaniclastic deposit, mostly consisting of a suite of hornblende andesite to pyroxene andesite. The geochemical features of the adakite suggest its generation by melting of subducted oceanic crust. Boninite occurs in the Saerbulake area ca. 20 km southwest of Fuyun, as pillowed lava or pillowed breccia. It is associated with high-TiO2 basalt/gabbro and low-TiO2 basalt. The boninites are metamorphosed, but contain relict clinopyroxene with Mg# (=100*Mg/(Mg+Fe)) of 90–92, and Cr2O3 contents of 0.5–0.7 wt% and chromian spinel with Cr/(Cr+Al) ratio of 0.84. The bulk rock compositions of the boninites are characterized by low and U-shaped REE with variable La/Yb ratios. They are classified as high-Ca boninite. The Cr-rich cpx phenocryst and Chromian spinel suggests that the boninites were formed by melting of mildly refractory mantle peridotite fluxed by a slab-derived fluid component under normal mantle potential temperature conditions. Basaltic rocks occur as massive flows, pillowed lavas, tuff breccia, lapilli tuff and blocks in tectonic mélanges. Together with gabbros, the basaltic rocks are classified into high-TiO2 (>1.7 wt%) and low-TiO2 (<1.5 wt%) types. They show variable trace element compositions, from MORB-type through transitional back-arc basin basalt to arc tholeiite, or within plate alkalic basalt. A notable feature of the Devonian formations in the southern Altay is the juxtaposition of volcanic rocks of various origins even within a limited area; i.e. the adakite and the boninites are associated with high-TiO2 and low-TiO2 basalts and/or gabbros, respectively. This is most likely produced by complex accretion and tectonic processes during the convergence in the Devonian–Carboniferous paleo-Asian Ocean between the Siberian and Junggar plates.  相似文献

The origin of oceanic plagiogranites from the karmoy ophiolite,western Norway   总被引:16,自引:0,他引:16  
Both field relationships and geochemical characteristics indicate two suites of plagiogranitic and related rocks coexisting in the higher parts of the Karmoy ophiolite of western Norway. The plutonic zone of this ophiolite can be subdivided into three complexes; the East-Karmoy Igneous Complex, the Visnes High Level Complex and the Veavagen Igneous Complex and plagiogranitic rocks are well developed in the first two of these.Within the East-Karmoy Igneous Complex, plagiogranites are associated with high temperature, pre-basic dyke, shear zones. Rare earth element modelling indicates that these plagiogranites were derived by anatexis of amphibolite (hydrated diabase) assuming a starting material consisting of 40% hornblende and 60% plagioclase and that batch melting occurred within the stability field of hornblende.In comparison, plagiogranite occurs in a number of bodies in the upper part of the Visnes High Level Complex and forms a sandwich horizon together with biotite diorites and epidosites between a roof assemblage of dykes, microgabbros and magnetite gabbros, and a floor assemblage of layered and non-layered gabbros. The R.E.E. modelling of the petrogenesis of this series of plagiogranites indicates that they were derived by filter pressing of a differentiated interstitial liquid to the vari-textured gabbros, although the distribution of highly hygromagmatophile elements such as K, Rb, Ba, etc. cannot be explained satisfactorily by this model alone. Depletion in these elements appears to be an autometasomatic effect.  相似文献

双凤山基性侵入岩体位于松嫩-张广才岭地块南缘,其岩石组成主要为橄榄辉长岩.锆石LA-ICP-MS U-Pb定年显示该岩体形成于279±4 Ma.岩石矿物组成主要为橄榄石、单斜辉石、斜方辉石、高An值(80.1~87.9)斜长石以及以反应边形式存在的角闪石,矿物学特征指示其母岩浆为经历过充分流体交代的富水岩浆.全岩主微量元素组成揭示其源区物质组成为石榴子石二辉橄榄岩,部分熔融程度约20%,岩浆演化过程中经历了斜长石堆晶作用以及斜方辉石的结晶分异作用.全岩Sr-Nd同位素及锆石Hf同位素研究显示其(87Sr/86Sr)i=0.705 2~0.706 1,并具有正的εNd(t)值(0.9~1.3)和εHf(t)值(0~10.2),表明其来源于亏损的地幔源区,并且岩浆上升过程中没有经历明显的地壳混染.微量元素和同位素特征综合反映岩浆源区经历了古亚洲洋俯冲沉积物熔体和流体交代作用的改造,但起主导作用的是流体.其地球化学特征总体显示MORB以及弧型玄武岩过渡的特征,暗示其形成于弧后伸展环境.研究区基性侵入岩地幔源区的不均一性主要受到古亚洲洋多期次俯冲作用析出熔/流体对上覆地幔楔不同程度的改造.   相似文献
