南极、北极和青藏高原是地球上的 3大气候敏感地区 ,是多个国际计划研究全球变化的关键地区。中国的南极和北极实地考察研究 ,分别始于 2 0世纪 80和 90年代 ,起步较晚 ,但近 2 0余年来有较大的进展。极地大气科学考察与研究是极地科学研究的重要组成部分。讫今为止 ,中国已组织了 2 0次南极考察和 3次北极考察 ,建立了中国南极长城站、中山站和北极黄河站等 3个常年科学考察站 ;进行了常规地面气象、Brewer大气臭氧、近地面物理、高层大气物理、冰雪和大气化学等观测 ,获得了较为系统的极地大气科学第一手资料 ;开展了有关极地与全球变化的研究 ,取得了新的进展。南极地区大气温度、臭氧和海冰的气候变化在时间和空间上都是多样的。南极地区的增暖主要发生在南极半岛地区 ,在南极大陆主体并不明显 ,近 10余年来还有降温趋势。中国南极长城站和中山站的观测资料也证实了这一点。此外 ,还揭示了南极半岛西侧和罗斯海外围的海冰变化具有“翘翘板”特征 ,由此定义的南极涛动指数可用来讨论南极海冰状况和海冰关键区的活动 ;用实地考察资料研究了极地不同下垫面的近地面物理和海 -冰 -气相互作用特征 ,给出了边界层特征参数 ;讨论了极地天气气候和大气环境特征及其对东亚大气环流和中国天气气候的影响 ;利用  相似文献

The SST anomaly of the central-eastern equatorial Pacific and the arctic sea ice anomalies of the four districts lo-cated respectively in 160°E—110°W,110°W—20°W,70°E—160°E and 20°W—70°E are taken as five separate factors.And the relationship between each factor and the atmospheric general circulation and the climate is investigated byobservational analysis and numerical experiments.It is shown that the effects of the arctic sea ice anomalies on the varia-tions of atmospheric circulation and climate are comparable to or even in some cases greater than that of EI Ninoevents.So one should pay much attention to the study of polar sea ice anomalies in climate research.  相似文献

Ever since 1984, the Journal Of Tropical Meteorology (Chinese version ), an academic journal devoted to the field in China, has been in continuous circulation for 12 years. Up to the present stage, however, it has stopped short of fully playing the role of international exchanges due to language barriers. For foreign colleagues who are interested in the research and advances of tropical meteorology in China,the official publication of the journal in English version, which comes after a period of preparation, is designed to make it things of the past to get informed from just a few lines of English Abstracts. On behalf of the Guangzhou Regional Meteorological Center and subordinate institutions of operation and scientific research, I would like to exploit the occasion to express my warm congratulations to its publication!Tropical meteorology is one of the important branches of the whole atmospheric sciences. The state and changes in the tropical atmosphere have essential influence on the weather and climate across our planet. The advance in the research of tropical meteorology has become a subject equally concerned by the community in many nations. I think that the all--English Journal of TrOPical Meteorology will help colleagues overseas to know more of China's achievements in the field on a timely basis. In the meantime, I also welcome the interested writers abroad to present academic papers of their own in this journal and make common efforts to operate it so that the science of tropical meteorology better contributes to the well--being of every people.  相似文献

积云参数化和分辨率对MJO数值模拟的影响   总被引:3,自引:1,他引:2  
用中国科学院大气物理研究所发展的一个大气环流模式,使用不同的积云参数化方案和分辨率进行了6个模拟试验,考察了积云参数化方案和模式分辨率对热带大气季节内振荡(MJO)模拟的影响。结果显示:积云参数化方案和分辨率都会影响MJO的模拟。但积云参数化方案决定了模式对MJO模拟的基本能力,决定了模拟的MJO的基本特征。分辨率的变化并不能使模拟的MJO发生本质的改变,分辨率的作用更多的是对MJO的模拟起一定的调制作用,而这种调制作用又受到积云参数化方案的制约。在改进积云参数化方案的基础上提高模式的分辨率会在某些方面改善MJO的模拟。但是分辨率的提高需要同时提高水平分辨率和垂直分辨率,单独提高水平分辨率会降低模式模拟MJO的能力,引入更多的小尺度的高频扰动。非绝热加热垂直廓线对模式模拟MJO有重要的影响,而非绝热加热廓线很大程度上取决于所使用的积云参数化方案。模式水平分辨率的变化不会对加热廓线的结构产生明显的影响,而垂直分辨率的变化会对加热廓线的垂直结构产生一定的调制作用,进而对模拟的MJO起到调制作用。  相似文献

使用一个包括浮游生物(植物、动物和细菌)和无生命氮(有机碎片、溶解有机氮、硝酸盐和铵)的食物网来描述发生在海洋上层的生物过程。并将该生物模式分别用在佛罗里达海峡的一个固定位置和从佛罗里达海峡(24°N,80°W)流经挪威海(68°N,10°E)(扩展湾流体系,EGSS)的一个水块中,研究了海洋中上述的生物过程对水块吸收大气二氧化碳的影响。水块模式的结果十分明显地表明了海洋中的水华季,比包括浮游植物-浮游动物-硝酸盐体系得到的峰陡,结果更合理。扩展湾流体系中平均净初级生产力为43gCm-2a-1,小于观测值。模拟的总碱度,总二氧化碳和二氧化碳分压落在观测值的范围内,在水块吸收大气CO2的总量中生物泵的作用约占16%。  相似文献

利用以美国环保部推荐的经典高斯扩散模型为基础建立的大气扩散能力定量评估方法,研究浙江省大气扩散能力分布及年际变化特征。研究结果表明,浙江省大气扩散能力呈北部较南部强、沿海较内陆强的分布特点,不同设区市大气扩散指数从大到小的顺序为舟山(3.25)>台州(2.69)>嘉兴(2.22)>宁波(2.19)>衢州(1.75)>金华(1.70)>绍兴(1.67)>湖州(1.46)>杭州(1.34)>温州(1.27)>丽水(0.59)。不同时间尺度大气扩散能力特征为:7月大气扩散指数最大,达到4.19,2月最小,为1.51;夏季大气扩散指数最大,为3.37,秋季次之,为2.73,春季第三,为2.44,冬季最小,为1.94;1980—2014年年均大气扩散指数呈明显的下降趋势,下降了1.40,下降幅度达到58.33 %,而且2000年之后的下降速率较之前大。不同设区市大气扩散指数年际变化特征存在较大差异,表现最明显的有:温州地区大气扩散指数下降幅度最大,舟山地区大气扩散指数虽然一直较其它地区大,但近几年下降幅度比较大;丽水地区大气扩散指数一直最小,但其降幅也最小。   相似文献

In this study, the winter-summer-winter seasonal variation characteristics of the atmospheric temperature in northern East Asia (NEA) during the past 60 years are analyzed. The results revealed a type of new seasonal variation mechanism of temperature: winter-winter recurrence (WWR). This study initially discussed the formation mechanism of WWR from the angle of the relationship between the WWR and the atmospheric internal factors and external forcing. The main conclusions are summarized as follows: (1) The winter-summer-winter continuous variation of the AO anomaly index has consistent characteristics with the atmospheric variation of the WWR in the NEA, and their 60-year correlation coefficient reaches 0.43, passing the 95% significance level. It is indicated that the seasonal anomaly of the AO has a certain influence on the WWR; (2) Overall, the PDO maintains a negative phase in the negative WWR years, while it displays the opposite feature in the positive WWR years. The negative (positive) anomaly of PDO is favourable to the occurrence of sustainable low (high) temperatures in the NEA, and may be the important external driving factor for motivating the WWR in the NEA; (3) The binary regression, based on the PDO and AO indexes successfully reproduces the curve of TWWR-HG, which is significantly correlated with the WWR index TWWR, and can reproduce the time-height profile of the WWR characteristics from 400 to 1,000 hPa. Therefore, it is concluded that the WWR of the atmospheric temperatures in the NEA is the result of the combined action of the PDO and AO.  相似文献

The impacts of the enhanced model's moist physics and horizontal resolution upon the QPFs(quantitative precipitation forecasts) are investigated by applying the HIRLAM(high resolution limited area model) to the summer heavy-rain cases in China.The performance of the control run,for which a 0.5°×0.5°grid spacing and a traditional "grid-box supersaturation removal+Kuo type convective paramerization" are used as the moist physics,is compared with that of the sensitivity runs with an enhanced model's moist physics(Sundqvist scheme) and an increased horizontal resolution(0.25°×0.25°),respectively.The results show:(1) The enhanced moist physics scheme(Sundqvist scheme),by introducing the cloud water content as an additional prognostic variable and taking into account briefly of the microphysics involved in the cloud-rain conversion,does bring improvements in the model's QPFs.Although the deteriorated QPFs also occur occasionally,the improvements are found in the majority of the cases,indicating the great potential for the improvement of QPFs by enhancing the model's moist physics.(2) By increasing the model's horizontal resolution from 0.5°×0.5°,which is already quite high compared with that of the conventional atmospheric soundings,to 0.25°×0.25°without the simultaneous enhancement in model physics and objective analysis,the improvements in QPFs are very limited.With higher resolution,although slight amelioration in locating the rainfall centers and in resolving some finer structures of precipitation pattern are made,the number of the mis-predicted fine structures in rainfall field increases with the enhanced model resolution as well.  相似文献

An analysis is made of the effects of topography on the summer atmospheric energetics of the Northern Hemisphere in a low-resolution global spectral model. The numerical model is a global, spectral, primitive equation model with five equally spaced sigma levels in the vertical and triangular truncation at wavenumber 10 in the horizontal. The model includes comparatively full physical processes.Each term of the energy budget equations is calculated in four specific latitudinal belts (81.11°S-11.53°S; 11.53°S-11.53°N; 11.53°N-46.24°N; 46.24°N-81.11°N) from a five-year simulation with mountains and a one-year simulation without mountains, respectively. Differences between them are compared and statistically tested. The results show that synoptical scale waves transport available potential energy and kinetic energy to long waves and increase conversion from available potential energy of the zonal flow to eddy’s and from the eddy kinetic energy to the zonal kinetic energy in region 3 (11.53°N-46.24°N) due to mountains; topography intensifies the atmospheric baroclinity in region 3, consequently the baroclinic conversion of atmosphere energy is increased. The seasonal characteristics associated with the summer atmospheric energy source in region 3 are caused by seasonal variation of the solar radiation and the land-ocean contrasts and independent of topographic effects. The mechanism of topographic effects on the increase of long wave kinetic energy is also discussed.  相似文献
