利用离散偶极子近似法(DDA),研究了等效半径Re在0.8 mm范围内的柱状和片状冰晶在不同空间取向、温度和尺度比时,对94 GHz雷达发射的水平偏振波产生的后向散射,并讨论了等效雷达反射率因子Ze随粒子谱中值直径及冰水含量的变化。结果表明,温度对后向散射效率的影响较低,空间取向对后向散射效率的影响与粒子大小和形状有关。当雷达波垂直指向天顶,在冰晶粒子等效半径Re0.8 mm时,水平取向冰晶的后向散射效率比随机取向大,粒子越偏离球形,差别基本上越大;在同一取向时,粒子越偏离球形,后向散射效率基本上越大。在一定冰水含量下,取向、形状和冰晶谱的形状参数对Ze的影响和粒子谱中值直径有关;对于垂直指向的雷达,如果将六角形冰晶等效为等体积球形冰晶,当粒子较大(0.4 mmRe0.8 mm)时,其Ze将被低估。  相似文献

利用离散偶极子近似法,数值计算分析了随机取向旋转椭球体沙尘气溶胶粒子在尺度参数为0.1~23时(波长0.55 μm对应有效半径为0.01~2 μm)的激光雷达线退偏比特性,通过比较其不同旋转椭球体轴半径比下的差别,研究了粒子非球形性程度对单分散和多分散沙尘气溶胶激光雷达线退偏比特性的影响.单分散旋转椭球体沙尘气溶胶的激光雷达线退偏比对粒子的轴半径比和尺度参数有很强的依赖性;对于长旋转椭球体,沙尘激光雷达线退偏比较小值出现在瑞利散射区,而较大的值出现在米散射区;对于扁旋转椭球体,在米散射区较大沙尘粒子也可以产生较小的激光雷达线退偏比,例如,轴半径比为1/16,尺度参数为3时的沙尘激光雷达线退偏比仅为0.1%.就随机取向旋转椭球体沙尘粒子而言,对于单分散系,仅当尺度参数小于0.5时,非球形特征越明显,其激光雷达线退偏比越大;而对多分散系,非球形特征越明显,其激光雷达线退偏比越大.  相似文献

近红外波段凝结核性质对雨滴散射特性的影响   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
用M ie散射理论,在已知大气气溶胶粒子的折射率基础上,计算并讨论大气气溶胶以及在其上凝结形成的雨滴的散射相函数、散射效率因子等散射特性。结果表明,对流层中气溶胶粒子的散射能力依次为水滴,冰晶,海洋性粒子,沙尘性粒子,水溶性粒子,煤烟。对于在可溶性核上凝结形成的雨滴,海洋性核的散射能力强于水溶性核的散射能力。由不可溶性核凝结形成雨滴的散射能力依次为煤烟核、冰晶核和沙尘性核。纯水雨滴的散射能力介于沙尘性核和冰晶核之间,强于海洋性核。该结论可以为光学测雨仪器在不同地区条件下的参数设置提供依据。  相似文献

对非球形冰晶94 GHz云雷达后向散射和衰减的研究   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
针对94 GHz毫米波云雷达的数据处理,基于离散偶极子近似法(DDA)计算了几种非球形冰晶的后向散射及衰减效率,探讨了不同冰云模型下冰云的雷达反射率因子(Z_e)和衰减系数(k)及冰水含量(IWC,记作W)的关系。结果表明:(1)形状对冰晶的散射及衰减效率与粒子大小有关。(2)在实际的冰云中,将六角形冰晶和椭圆冰晶看做同体积的球形粒子将低估其衰减和后向散射。将聚合物冰晶看做等体积球形,将高估其后向散射及衰减,子弹花冰晶的后向散射与同体积的球形相比有减小也有增大,但是衰减比同体积球形的小。(3)冰云模型对Z_e-k、Z_e-W关系具有较大影响,假设滴谱相同的条件下,得到了具体冰云模型下对应Z_e-k、Z_e-W关系的系数。这些探讨为我国W波段云雷达的数据处理提供了参考。  相似文献

利用Mie散射原理和重庆实测气溶胶资料,详细计算了边界层内单个气溶胶粒子的光学特性参量,气溶胶粒子群体的散射、吸收、消光系数及不对称因子、散射比、光学厚度;进而采用二流近似和累加法计算了边界层内太阳短波辐射增温率。目的在于研究相对湿度对以上各特性参量的影响。结果表明,相对湿度在65%~95%之间变化时,对气溶胶粒子群体光学特性参数和太阳增温率的影响在量级上可与气溶胶粒子浓度成倍变化的影响相比拟。  相似文献

气溶胶光散射信息是辐射传输模拟、气候学研究及大气海洋遥感等的重要前提,由于其基础性地位,气溶胶光散射数值模拟一直是大气科学领域的研究热点。本文简明扼要地对气溶胶光散射数值模拟技术的研究现状进行了综述,主要内容包括以下3个方面:(1)总结和分析了Mie散射理论在实际应用的局限性;(2)对气溶胶光散射理论进行了归类,概述了其发展历程、研究现状,重点分析了不同散射理论的基本原理、适用范围、算法复杂度及相应的优缺点;(3)总结了气溶胶光散射研究中存在的问题,扼要地概括了气溶胶光散射数值模拟的研究热点及发展方向。  相似文献

将雨滴近似成椭球体,建立了雨滴的近似椭球模型,与已有模型进行对比表明该模型可以较准确地反映实际雨滴的形状.在此基础上利用Monte-Carlo方法模拟射线追踪,分别计算了单个雨滴和单位体积群雨滴在近红外波段下的散射特性.结果表明,在计算单个雨滴散射特性时,将雨滴近似成球形将会有较大的误差,尤其在后向表现的明显;单位体积群雨滴散射特性与降水性质和雨强的变化关系不大,降水的不均匀性是造成群雨滴散射特性变化的主要原因.  相似文献

为精确利用雷达回波反演雪花粒子的微物理参数,建立满足指数分布的非球形雪花粒子群模型,在94GHz频率下利用XFDTD软件计算电磁波不同入射方向下粒子群的后向散射截面,并与简单相加作比较,结果表明:同一入射方向下,粒子群多次散射效应下的后向散射截面均大于简单相加的结果;不同入射方向下,粒子群的后向散射截面表现出很大的差异。因此雷达实际探测中必须考虑多次散射和入射电磁波的方向。  相似文献

Scattering of electromagnetic waves from homogeneous or coated spheres can be computed in a mathematically exact way using the Mie theory. Therefore, for many approaches in remote sensing, frozen hydrometeors are parameterized as ice spheres. However, many frozen hydrometeors have non-spherical overall shapes and lack a spherically symmetric internal structure. They exist in a huge variety of shapes and exhibit different mixtures of ice, water and air. Therefore it is desirable to accurately compute scattering from non-spherical particles in order to clearly understand the effect the shape of a hydrometeor has on its scattering pattern.In this study, single scattering parameters like scattering cross section, absorption cross section, and asymmetry factor were calculated for frozen hydrometeors using the Discrete Dipole Approximation (DDA). The particles were modeled as hexagonal plates, columns, needles and dendrites by applying known dimensional relationships. The calculations were carried out over a wide range of centimeter and millimeter-wavelengths (1 GHz to 300 GHz), since millimeter-wave radiometers are highly sensitive to scattering by frozen hydrometeors in the atmosphere.The study results show that for size parameters < 1 (a ratio between wavelength and particle size) the scattering cross section of randomly orientated ice crystals is close to that of an equal volume ice sphere. Absorption cross section and asymmetry factor of non-spherical particles however are up to twice as high as that of equal volume ice spheres. Further the influence of the assumed model for the refractive index of ice at microwave wavelengths on the scattering parameters is investigated.  相似文献

An approximate expression of the sky radiance in almucantar is confirmed in this paper. Under the conditions with molecular optical depth<0.3, aerosol (or cloud) optical depth<0.6, solar zenith angle< 75° and scattering angle<30°, the errors of the sky radiance and the aerosol phase function computed from the expression are respectively less than 8 % and 10 %, but the phase functions computed from Box-Deepak formula and single-scattering formula can be 84 % and 260 % more than the exact value, respectively. Furthermore, by use of the expression we have inferred the volume scattering functions of 1°≤θ≤30° for retrieving aerosol size distribution with the conclusion that the distribution information in the range of 0.1相似文献

Based on anomalous diffraction theory and the modified Rayleigh-Debye approximation, a physically realistic model in bridging form is described to approximate the scattering phase function of particles. When compared with the exact method, the bridging technique reported here provides a reasonable approximation to the Mie results over a broader range of angles and size parameters, and it demonstrates the advantage of being computationally economic. In addition, the new phase function model can be essentially extended to other shapes and conveniently used in more complicated scattering and emission problems related to the solutions of the radiative transfer equations.  相似文献

An accurate and rapid method for solving radiative transfer equation is presented in this paper. According to the fact that the multiple scattering component of radiance is less sensitive to the error of phase function than the single scattering component is, we calculate the multiple scattering component by using delta-Eddington approximation and the single scattering component by solving radiative transfer equation. On the ground, when multiple mattering com-ponent is small, for example, when the total optical depth τ is small, the accurate radiance can be obtained with this method. For the need of the space remote sensing, the upward radiance at the top of the atmosphere is mainly studied, and an approximate depression is presented to correct the multiple scattering component. Compared with the more precise Gauss-Seidel method, the results from this method show an accuracy of better than 10% when zenith angle θ < 50o and τ ≤ 1. The computational speed of this method is, however, much faster than that of Gauss-Seidel method.  相似文献

Measurements of the polarisation state of the atmosphere were performed at Tenerife in June–July 1997, in the framework of ACE‐2 (second Aerosol Characterization Experiment), by 2 ground‐based instruments: RefPol (a LOA prototype) which took measurements at 445, 665, 870, 1610 nm in the solar principal plane; and an automatic CIMEL (CE 318) sun/sky‐photometer which measured polarised radiation at 870 nm in the same observational geometry. Measurements acquired during the campaign, as well as AERONET (AErosol RObotic NETwork) measurements acquired at the sites of Cape Verde and M'Bour, are processed with an algorithm determining the polarised single‐scattering sky‐radiance due to aerosols, directly proportional to the aerosol polarised phase function (representing the probability to scatter polarised radiation in the direction of the scattering angle). A good correlation between the Ångström exponent α, representing the spectral dependence of the extinction measurements, and the polarised phase function is observed on each set of data. The uncertainty of retrievals at 445 nm makes the determination of the spectral dependence of polarisation inconclusive but does not prevent confirming the dependence of the aerosol polarised phase function on α, at all wavelengths. An Ångström exponent of 1 corresponds to a polarised phase function of around 0.1 (±0.04), at 870 nm and at a scattering angle of 60°. For α between 0 and 0.4, the average value of the polarised phase function is 0.05. The correlation shows that polarisation is more sensitive to small particles than to large particles. The discrepancy between retrievals and Mie calculations from an AERONET size distribution, inverted from Izaña measurements acquired during a dust event, suggests the presence of small particles, not detected by total sky‐radiance measurements.  相似文献

The data, measured by a three-wavelength Integrating Nephelometer over Lanzhou City during the winters of 2001/2002 and 2002/2003 respectively, have been analyzed for investigating the scattering properties of atmospheric aerosols and exploring their relationship and the status of air pollution. The aerosol particle volume distribution is inverted with the measured spectral scattering coefficients. The results show that the daily variation of the aerosol scattering coefficients is in a tri-peak shape. The average ratio of backscattering coefficient to total scattering coefficient at 550 nm is 0.158; there exists an excellent correlation between the scattering coefficients and the concentration of PM10. The average ratio of the concentration of PM10 to the scattering coefficients is 0.37 g m-2, which is contingent on the optical parameters of aerosol particles such as the size distribution, etc.; an algorithm is developed for inverting the volume distribution of aerosol particles by using the histogram and Monte-Carlo techniques, and the test results show that the inversion is reasonable.  相似文献

大气粒子散射相函数的参数化是大气辐射传输参数化的重要组成部分。文中全面比较了大气粒子的HenyeyGreenstein(HG)方案和双Henyey-Greenstein(DHG)方案,并在四流球谐函数展开累加法中,应用这两种相函数参数化方案计算气溶胶、云、霾粒子的反射率、透射率或吸收率。该研究结果表明:HG方案无法表现相函数的后向峰值,因而其计算的大气粒子反射率和透射率精度较差;DHG方案能较好地表征相函数的整体特征,但是该方案计算的相函数易出现后向异常峰值或为负值,并导致计算得到的气溶胶、云、霾粒子的反射率和透射率精度甚至会低于HG方案。对DHG方案进行进一步研究,提出了改进的DHG方案(MDHG)。MDHG方案计算结果稳定,并能很好表征相函数的前向和后向峰值的特征,其计算的大气粒子的反射率和透射率精度也较高。因此,MDHG方案是一种理想的相函数参数化方案。  相似文献
