Summary Analysis of ozonesonde data shows that in the lower troposphere above Hong Kong, there is a relative maximum with respect to height in all seasons except winter. In the upper troposphere, there is with respect to height a relative minimum in the seasonally averaged ozone mixing ratio in winter. Ozone mixing ratios in the upper troposphere in winter and spring can be significantly enhanced by stratospheric intrusions associated with the passage of cold fronts and upper cut-off lows.For Hong Kong, the seasonally averaged total ozone has the highest value in spring, and the lowest in winter. The seasonally averaged total tropospheric ozone also has the highest value in spring, but the lowest in summer. In a relative sense, total tropospheric ozone contributes most to the total ozone in spring and the least in summer.The phase of the total ozone anomaly above Hong Kong is influenced by the Quasi-Biennial Oscillation (QBO), with the positive anomaly associated with the easterly phase of QBO, and the negative anomaly the westerly phase.  相似文献

热带气旋对香港地区臭氧污染影响的初步研究   总被引:6,自引:2,他引:6  
利用1998—2008年所有西北太平洋海域生成的264个热带气旋资料、香港地区11个环境监测站点的地面臭氧(O3)小时浓度数据,研究热带气旋对香港地区臭氧污染的影响。分析表明当西北太平洋有热带气旋活动时,香港地区地面O3浓度均有不同程度增大,且半数以上造成香港地区O3高污染;热带气旋对香港地区O3污染的影响程度与气旋强度相关,且有显著的季节变化特征。运用SPSS软件进行轨迹聚类分析,将热带气旋分为四种类型,并对香港地区O3污染影响的进一步分析发现,西行或转向登陆型和近大陆转向不登陆型是最易引起香港地区O3高污染的两类热带气旋,二者平均影响程度大体相当;热带气旋中心位于台湾岛东北部洋面及巴士海峡附近时,香港地区O3浓度最易出现极大值。物理量场和对气团后向轨迹的条件概率场分析表明,热带气旋期间偏北到东北气流的水平输送以及下沉气流的局地积聚作用造成香港地区O3地面浓度显著增加。  相似文献

利用臭氧探空资料,分析了西太平洋地区香港(Hong Kong)、那霸(Naha)和札幌(Sapporo)三个站点2000~2010年期间大气边界层内臭氧(O3)的季节分布和年变化趋势。结果表明,三个站点O3的季节分布存在明显的差异。其中,那霸和香港大气边界层内O3季节平均呈双峰值分布,其峰值分别出现在春季和秋季;而札幌站为单峰分布,峰值出现在春季。造成季节分布差异的主要原因包括人为污染源和自然因素如气象条件。另外,三个站点大气边界层内O3均呈上升趋势。其中札幌、那霸上升最快,分别达0.80 ppb a-1和0.77 ppb a-1。(ppb表示10-9,下同)香港的年际增长较不明显,但秋季增长却非常明显,高达1.21 ppb a-1。结合GOME (Global Ozone Monitoring Experiment) 和SCIAMACHY (Scanning Imaging Absorption Spectro Meter for Atmospheric Chartography)卫星反演的NO2数据发现,过去10年中国京津唐和东北地区的对流层内NO2柱总量增加极为迅速。这些O3前体物通过远距离输送是导致札幌、那霸O3浓度增加的主要原因之一。珠江三角洲人为污染源的增加及偏北气流的影响,是导致香港地区秋季O3增加的主要原因。  相似文献

用约20年 Dobson和TOMS资料来分析北京(39.93°N,116.40°E)和昆明 (25.02°N,102.68°)两地大气臭氧总量的变化特征,结果表明:(1)在1979-2000年间北京大气臭氧长期变化趋势是-0.642 DU/年,而昆明在1980-2000年间的趋势是-0.009 DU/年;(2)北京和昆明两地大气臭氧都有很强的季节内变化(尤其冬季更强),与季节性变化强度相当;(3)在北京和昆明,由记录较短的大气臭氧资料分析得到的长期变化趋势,与较长记录得到的结果有显著差异;(4)在北京(中纬度)和昆明(低纬度)大气臭氧都有显著的准两年振荡信号;(5)两个站点大气臭氧的年际变化主要由长期趋势项和准两年振荡信号组成;(6)Dobson仪测量得到的臭氧总量与TOMS资料非常一致。  相似文献

Tropical cyclones(TCs) constitute one of the major atmospheric activities affecting the air quality of the Pearl River Delta region. In this study, the impact of TCs on air quality in Hong Kong during the TC active season(July–October) from 2000 to 2015 is investigated. It is found that 57.5% of days with concentration of particulate matter with an aerodynamic diameter 10 μm(PM_(10)) above the 90th percentile are related to TC activity. TCs in three regions, located to the east, southeast, and southwest of Hong Kong, have obvious impacts on pollutant concentration. When TCs are located east of Hong Kong near Taiwan, 65.5%/38.7% of the days have high or extremely high PM_(10)/ozone(O_3) levels, which are associated with northerly wind, sinking motion, and relatively low precipitation. When TCs are located southeast of Hong Kong, 48.1%/58.2% of the days have high pollution levels, associated mainly with continental air mass transport. When TCs are south or west of Hong Kong, only 20.8%/16.9% of the days have high PM_(10)/O_3 levels, and the air quality in Hong Kong is generally good or normal due to TC-associated precipitation, oceanic air mass transport, and an enhanced rising motion. The higher chance of high O_3 days when TCs are present between Hong Kong and Taiwan, possibly due to lower-than-normal precipitation along the east coast of China under TC circulation. The results in this study highlight the important influence of TC position and associated atmospheric circulations on the air quality in Hong Kong.  相似文献

Visibility is one of the parameters for indicating air pollution.In this study,visibility variation in Hong Kong during summer and winter is investigated.Visibility in Hong Kong has clear intraseasonal variation.Examination of different environmental parameters suggests that the intraseasonal component dominates the overall circulation anomalies in both summer and winter.Associated with the intraseasonal variation of environmental parameters,obvious variation in visibility impairment is found in both summer and winter.In summer,local visibility and air quality are found to be significantly affected by the(MJO)and the 10–30-day intraseasonal oscillation(ISO)through modulation of associated atmospheric circulations.In winter,the modulation effects appear to be weaker due to the southward shift of the associated convection.The results in this study highlight the importance of the ISO in contributing to the overall variation in visibility in Hong Kong,and provide useful implications for the development of possible mitigation strategies associated with visibility impairment and air pollution in Hong Kong.  相似文献

对我国河北香河、云南昆明、青海瓦里关及黑龙江龙凤山地基观测臭氧总量与不同时期、不同卫星反演的产品差别特点进行比较,评估地基和卫星观测臭氧总量数据的质量信息以及近30年来我国不同区域臭氧总量的变化趋势特征。结果表明:4个站点的地基与卫星观测臭氧总量的绝对和相对差别分别为-5~10 DU和-5%~4%;日平均相对差别基本上呈现随机分布特征。TOMS算法反演的卫星臭氧总量与地基差别总体上要优于与DOAS算法反演的同期产品。地基与卫星臭氧总量差别呈明显的区域特点,可能反映了卫星反演计算中所需的臭氧、温度垂直分布等初始条件的纬度分布差异对卫星产品精度的影响。在过去30年,4个站点的臭氧总量在经历1993年前的显著降低后于1995—1996年逐渐回升,而瓦里关站在2001年前后的回升更为明显。  相似文献

利用2005-2007年杭州市区大气O3连续监测资料, 分析了O3浓度变化特征, 在此基础上结合气象观测资料, 分析了大气O3与天气系统间的关系, 建立了O3与气象要素间的多元回归方程。结果表明: 2007年O3平均浓度和最大小时浓度分别为44 μg.m-3和348 μg.m-3, 比上一年增加20%左右, 超标现象也越来越严重; O3浓度有明显的季节变化, 夏季高、冬季低; 大气O3浓度超标主要出现在高压后部和高压控制等天气类型。在紫外线强度较强时O3浓度也高, 二者呈显著正相关; 对O3与各种气象因子进行多元回归分析表明: O3主要受到温度、相对湿度、日照等因素影响。  相似文献

根据卫星和地基观测, 比较了我国香河、 昆明、 瓦里关和龙凤山四个站点臭氧总量自1979年以来的变化。卫星与地基观测的臭氧总量长期趋势比较一致, 表明臭氧总量均有下降趋势, 但是卫星与地基各自观测的结果仍存在着显著的差别。为研究卫星与地基臭氧总量的差别, 以地基观测臭氧总量为参考, 检验云对历史TOMS (Total Ozone Mapping Spectrometer) 和GOME (Global Ozone Monitoring Experiment) 臭氧总量精度的影响。结果显示: 云 (云量或云顶高度) 增加了卫星臭氧总量误差, 降低数据精度。随着地面云量的增加, TOMS、 GOME臭氧总量相对误差在上述四个地点呈现明显的上升趋势 (瓦里关最为明显), 但最大变化幅度没有超过2.0%。TOMS臭氧总量相对误差随地面云量变化呈现区域性特点, 香河与龙凤山 (代表着中纬度高臭氧总量区域)、 昆明与瓦里关 (代表中、 低纬度高原低臭氧总量区域) 分别为两个变化特点接近的区域。GOME臭氧总量相对误差与云之间关系的区域特征不明显。利用卫星遥测FRESCO (Fast Retrieval Scheme for Clouds from the Oxygen A\|band) 云信息检验GOME卫星臭氧总量精度的表明, 只有当云量大于5成后GOME臭氧总量才显示出相对误差增加的现象, 但无明显趋势; 随着FRESCO云顶高度的增加, GOME臭氧相对误差在香河、 瓦里关均呈现明显的上升趋势并有3%左右幅度的变化。TOMS臭氧总量相对误差随着地面有效反射率的增加而增大, 且误差幅度超过2%; TOMS\|N7臭氧总量比TOMS\|EP约高2.0%~3.0%。分析还表明, 云内和云以下臭氧柱浓度在反演的卫星臭氧总量中的贡献很可能被高估了。  相似文献

利用中尺度大气化学模式WRF/Chem对2013年3月6日华南地区一次平流层入侵事件及其对对流层低层臭氧的影响进行模拟研究。通过加入UBC(Upper Boundary Condition)上边界处理方案,弥补WRF/Chem模式未考虑平流层臭氧化学反应的不足。结合臭氧探空廓线资料、地面O3、CO、NOx、相对湿度、温度和风速等观测资料以及再分析资料对模拟结果进行定量评估,结果表明模式能较为真实地模拟本次平流层入侵过程。模拟分析进一步揭示:(1)副热带高空急流是本次平流层入侵的主要原因。当华南地区处在副热带急流入口区左侧下沉区域时,平流层入侵将富含臭氧的干燥空气输送到对流层中低层。(2)本次平流层入侵对对流层低层臭氧收支有重要影响,导致香港地区近地层臭氧体积混合比浓度明显上升,如塔门站夜间臭氧浓度升高21.3 ppb(1 ppb=1×10-9)。地面气象场和化学物种的分析进一步确认了平流层入侵的贡献。(3)采用动力学对流层顶高度时零维箱式模型和Wei公式计算得到的平流层入侵通量相当,分别为-1.42×10-3 kg m-2 s-1和-1.59×10-3 kg m-2 s-1,这一结果与前人研究相吻合,且与采用热力学对流层顶高度计算所得到的结果具有可比性。  相似文献

利用后向轨迹模式研究TRACE-P期间香港大气污染物的来源   总被引:34,自引:1,他引:33  
利用Hysplit4.7轨迹模式和2001年3月NCEP再分析气象资料,计算2001年3月TRACE-P期间抵达香港地区的后向气流轨迹,并分析香港地区大气输送特征。对轨迹进行聚类分析后得到到达香港的6类典型气团。结合香港鹤咀测站所测量的大气污染物的浓度,进一步分析不同来源气团的化学特征。抵达香港的气流轨迹结果表明来自大陆的气团占47.5%,局地输送性气团占34.6%,海洋性气团占18.7%。鹤咀测站的污染性气体O3 、SO2、CO在大陆气团影响下的平均浓度分别为31.1、3.0、486.1 μg/m3;在海洋性气团影响下分别为20.0、1.0、319.4 μg/m3;在局地输送气团影响下分别为20.0、1.2、308.0 μg/m3。  相似文献

为了解粤港澳地区气溶胶光学厚度分布和时序变化规律, 深入认识大气气溶胶的光学特性及其气候效应, 利用2010—2019年的MODIS C61 AOD 3 km逐日产品, 分析了粤港澳地区的AOD空间分布及年、季、月变化特征。(1) MODIS AOD与AERONET CE318 AOD最优拟合系数为0.96, 与SolarSIM-D2 AOD拟合系数为0.62, 与PM < sub > 2.5 < /sub > 、PM < sub > 10 < /sub > 的最优拟合系数为0.58、0.56。(2)空间上表现为珠三角AOD值高, 粤西次之, 粤北及粤东北较低。(3)年变化特征整体上呈明显的下降趋势, 2010—2014年AOD波动上升, 至2014年达到峰值, 2015年后AOD显著减小, 于2016年达到最低值。(4)季节上表现为春季 > 夏季 > 秋季 > 冬季。(5)月变化特征表现为3月最大(AOD值: 0.73), 4月次之, 5—8月AOD维持在高值且波动平稳, 9—12月显著下降。研究显示, 粤港澳地区颗粒物污染防治应以佛山、广州等珠江三角洲城市及粤西为主, 重点控制春夏季高污染企业生产强度及颗粒物排放。   相似文献

利用卫星观测臭氧总含量TOMS(第7版)资料,在剔除季节变化后对全球60°S-60°N范围首先进行了沿纬度分布的线性趋势和周期分析。结果表明:自本世纪70年代末,各纬带上的臭氧总量都呈下降趋势,强度随纬度升高而加剧,并发现总体上北半球臭氧的下降趋势较南半球更加明显;同时证实了准两年振荡是臭氧变化中除年周期外最显著的周期。并对臭氧变化中的准两年振荡作了遥相关分析;发现准两年振荡在强度和位相上基本呈纬向分布并主要表现出赤道对称的特征。135~170°E地区臭氧总量变化所表现出的不同于其它地区的原因可能是这一地区常年频繁出现的对流活动;而臭氧总量下降趋势表现出的北半球同纬度地区均大于南半球的南北半球差异可能是由两半球人类活动的差异引起  相似文献

Over the years, the Hong Kong Observatory has carried out scientific studies to evaluate the observed climate trends and project the future climate in Hong Kong. Analysis of the meteorological observations at the observatory's headquarters in Tsim Sha Tsui since 1885 reveals that the temperature rise in Hong Kong during the past 124 years is in accord with the global rising trend. The accelerated rising trend in the mean temperature in last few decades may be attributed to the anthropogenic influences, especially urbanization. A similar increasing trend is also observed for rainfall. Other observations such as increasing cloud amount and decreasing total global solar radiation are all consistent with the global trend. Studies of past occurrences of extreme temperature and rainfall have also been carried out. The results indicate that cold episodes have become rarer while very hot days and heavy rain events are becoming more frequent. The observatory also makes use of the data from the Fourth Assessment Report (AR4) of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and employs statistical downscaling techniques to carry out projections of temperature and precipitation in the 21st century. It is found that the rise in temperature in Hong Kong will be slightly higher than the global mean in the 21st century. The annual rainfall in Hong Kong is also expected to rise by the end of the 21st century, so is its year-to-year variability.  相似文献

1999年夏季,中国首次组织北极地区科学考察.分析此次考察中楚克奇海海域上空获得的大气结构和臭氧探空资料,结合臭氧总量观测光谱仪(TOMS)臭氧总量和NCEP大气环流资料,指出:考察期间楚克奇海海域上空臭氧总量与13 km以下臭氧含量关系密切,而在20 km附近最大臭氧浓度处的臭氧变化与大气臭氧总量关系较差,表明整层臭氧总量的变化主要受低层大气臭氧变化的影响.大气臭氧总量呈高-低-高变化,对流层顶高度呈低-高-低变化,分析500hPa高度场表明:考察期间的天气系统可能是造成局地臭氧变化的主要原因.  相似文献

The Tagged Species Source Apportionment (TSSA) algorithm is applied to study contributions to pollutants PM sulfate, SO2 and elemental carbon (EC) in Hong Kong by emitting sectors as well as non-emitting sources within and beyond the Pearl River Delta (PRD) region. We look at three areas of Hong Kong: western new towns, central downtown, and eastern countryside. Pollutant transport from beyond the PRD influenced all three areas during January and October 2004 but the source sectors impacting the three areas were different. Specifically, power plant SO2 from Hong Kong and Shenzhen, and vehicle EC from Shenzhen contribute to 11?~?66?% of SO2 concentration, and 33?~?75?% of EC concentration in the western new towns, respectively. Ships in and around Hong Kong contribute 8?~?56?% to the sulfate concentration in the downtown area, while local moving vehicles take up 28?~?81?% of the EC concentration there. The study also shows that diurnal variation of planetary boundary layer (PBL) causes day-night difference in SO2 by as much as 50?%. In addition, 13?~?38?% of all SO2 emissions have been converted to PM sulfate.  相似文献

Climatologically, June is usually the wettest month in Hong Kong. With significant interannual variation of the summer monsoon, the rainfall variability in June is also large. As Hong Kong is in close proximity to the peripheries of different monsoon regions, the variability of June rainfall largely depends on the relative strength of various monsoon systems. In the present study, a new index comparing the relative condition of the western North Pacific summer monsoon and the South China Sea summer monsoon is developed based on the difference between the respective monsoon indices WNPMI (western North Pacific summer monsoon index) and UMI (unified monsoon index). It is shown that June rainfall in Hong Kong and its vicinity is better correlated with this new index than either WNPMI or UMI alone. Based on the signs of the new index in conjunction with those of WNPMI and UMI, a framework to stratify the monsoon conditions into different configurations together with a simple scheme to summarize the associated rainfall responses is formulated. This study highlights how the rainfall variability on a local or regional scale can be quantified by the broad-scale conditions of different monsoon systems.  相似文献

In this paper, a two-dimensional primitive equation model, coupling dynamical, radiative andphotochemical processes, is used to simulate the quasi-biennial oscillation (QBO) in ozone. TheQBO in total ozone has been successfully simulated when the forcing of equatorial stratosphericQBO in zonal wind is imposed. The simulated characters of QBO in ozone are in close agreementwith those observed. We further analyzed the mechanism of formation and maintenance of QBO inozone. In the different phases of QBO in equatorial stratospheric wind field, the global circulationhas so great difference that it makes the effects of advection transfer and eddy transfer present aquasi-biennial periodical variation. Chemical effect and dynamical effect are basically out-of-phase.They together form and maintain the QBO in ozone. Total variation rate is a tiny difference of thetwo large amounts. At the lower level of middle-high latitudes, however, it has a phase differenceof about 1-2 months between dynamical and negative chemical effects, where the dynamical effectis comparatively greater. QBO in ozone has no clear counter effects on atmospheric circulation. The experiment resultsshow that the effects of QBO in ozone on temperature field and wind field are very small.  相似文献

风廓线仪是新一代大气遥感测风系统。简述了风廓线仪的工作原理,介绍了其应用研究现状,采用澳门和香港风廓线仪资料分析了热带风暴“圆规”影响时的特征,表明在热带风暴的影响下,风向转变非常快,并且在其登陆前后风向发生了明显的转变。从澳门和香港风廓线仪资料的对比及香港风廓线仪资料与探空资料的对比分析可见,风廓线仪测量的数据有较好的一致性,在珠江三角洲地区应用的前景是很广阔的。  相似文献

This paper uses Dobson spectrometer total ozone data,Total Ozone Mapping Spectrometer(TOMS) data and radiosonde reports from Kunming,which is located in southwest China,from 1980 to 2008 to analyze the total ozone-climate relationship.The total ozone decadal long-term trend and abrupt change were studied using enhanced Dobson data whose missing data were amended by the TOMS data.Stepwise linear regression was used for the selection of the key factors that influence total ozone,including temperatures,geopotential heights,depressions of the dew point,wind velocities,and total solar radiation.The relationship between the selected factors and total ozone was analyzed using the methods of stepwise regression and partial least squares regression(PLSR).Results showed that although the PLSR method was slightly better and more reasonable to study the relationship than stepwise regression,while the two regression results were only slightly different.It was also suggested that local climate,especially local circulation and temperature,were important for the variations in total ozone,and the local climate could almost linearly explain 80% of the variance of total ozone.The relationship also indicated that the abrupt change of total ozone in the year 1994 may be related to abrupt local climate change.  相似文献
