海陆交互作用下的南黄海沉积环境复杂,其沉积机制一直是古海洋研究的重点和难点。本文以取自南黄海中部泥质区的Z1岩心为载体,对196个样品的粒度和整体有机质指标(TOC、TN、TOC/TN和δ13Corg)进行了详细分析,并对5个层位进行AMS14C年龄测定,分辨率高达11 a/cm。研究结果显示,6.1 ka BP以来南黄海中部沉积过程可分为3个阶段:(1) 6.1~5.2 ka BP,沉积物粒度较粗,以残留砂和陆源粗粒物质为主,有机质含量较低且主要为陆源输入,本阶段多受东亚季风强盛的影响,动荡海洋环境下有机质保存效率低,大量陆源输入冲淡作用显著;(2) 5.2~3.9 ka BP,沉积物粒度变细且波动较大,有机质呈增加趋势且以海源为主,主要受东亚冬季风减弱的影响,海源有机质含量增加,与黄海暖流影响增强有关;(3) 3.9~0 ka BP,沉积物粒度最细且相对稳定,有机质含量继续增加,直至1.9 ka BP趋于稳定,主要受现代环流系统和东亚冬季风影响。结果表明,南黄海粒度和整体有机质指标变化过程复杂,显示中全新世以来南黄海中部泥质区沉积环境演化的复杂性。本研究获得了南黄海高分辨率的沉积环境演化记录,不仅为沉积机制研究提供更多数据支撑,还可为区域古气候和古海洋演化提供关键的指示证据。  相似文献

对南海北部陆坡Site4B站位末次冰盛期晚期至全新世(30~120cm)长链脂肪醇分布及碳同位素组成进行讨论,结果表明,长链脂肪醇碳优势指数(CPI,10.49~24.56)、平均碳链长(ACL,28.91~29.99)以及平均碳同位素组成(–28.85±0.97‰~–32.92±1.38‰)均反映了陆源C3植物来源,代表了沉积物中陆源输入。Site4B站位末次冰盛期末至晚更新世末(65~102cm,19.343~11.636ka BP)普遍较低的陆源输入均响应了大规模的冰融水事件19ka-MWP、MWP-1A、MWP-1B(melt water pulse,MWP)和暖气候事件(B/A事件),不具冰期/间冰期旋回变化特征。在末次冰盛期晚期(102~120cm)和全新世(30~60cm,10.490~约7.104 ka BP)陆源输入的旋回变化均反映了加强/减弱的冬季风/夏季风旋回变化,其中在末次冰盛期晚期记录一次冬季风最强事件,在早全新世至9.940ka BP记录一次夏季风最强事件。通过Site4B站位末次冰盛期末至晚更新世末(19.343~约11.636 ka BP)千年尺度陆源输入分布特征和全球冰期/间冰期旋回气候变化的对比,发现不具明确的区域对比性,可能受到低纬地区局地环境的作用所致。  相似文献

大陆边缘盆地是大陆风化剥蚀产物的主要沉积汇,其中有机碳的埋藏通量及其控制机制的研究对于理解全球碳循环具有重要科学意义。本研究基于南海东北部台西南盆地TWS-1岩芯的AMS14C测年、总有机碳、总氮含量和稳定碳同位素组成的分析,探讨了末次盛冰期23ka BP以来南海东北部陆源有机碳的来源、历史和影响机制。与潜在物源端元对比表明,台湾是研究站位沉积物陆源有机碳的主要物源,相对海源其贡献比例约为58%,陆源物质可能主要通过海底峡谷水道和低海平面时期陆架河流输入。重建的陆源有机碳通量在末次冰消期早期(19—13kaBP)和中全新世(7—4ka BP)期间有两个峰值,分别约0.16g/(cm2·ka)和0.09g/(cm2·ka)。综合分析表明,二者分别受控于冰期低海平面时期增强的陆架风化剥蚀和全新世季风强盛期降水驱动的古台湾岛剥蚀。我们的工作表明冰期-间冰期循环中海平面和季风分别驱动的大陆边缘有机碳埋藏可能对全球碳循环和大气CO2浓度演变有重要影响。  相似文献

罗斯冰架的消融过程对全球气候和大洋环流的变化都有重要影响。通过分析罗斯海西北陆架上中国第31次南极考察所采集的ANT31-JB06岩心重建末次冰期以来罗斯冰架的消融历史。通过AMS 14 C测年,建立了该岩心的地层年代框架,其沉积物被划分为末次冰期(36.6ka)以来到全新世的沉积序列,并对该岩心进行了粗组分含量分析、粒度组成及其端元模拟的综合研究。该岩心的粒度端元分析结果显示,峰态中值为15.1和18.9μm的组分端元的变化可分别代表弱和强水动力环境,而峰态中值为63.4和234.1μm的组分端元的变化可分别代表海冰和冰山搬运等沉积动力的变化。末次冰期罗斯冰架在研究站位并未触底,在27~21ka左右增长到最大位置,可能已经到达该岩心所在的位置。罗斯冰架在21ka左右开始退离JOIDES海槽,在AIM 1暖期(17~14ka)大规模崩塌消退;而在南极冷反转ACR时期(14~12ka)罗斯冰架消退缓慢;ACR之后冰架继续崩塌直到全新世中期,在5ka左右罗斯冰架基本达到稳定状态。该处水动力在冷气候时期较强,在暖气候时期较弱,可能是气候较冷时结冰过程形成的盐度较大的水下沉到底部促进了上下水体交换,使得沉积界面的水动力相对也比较强,沉降下来的颗粒相对偏粗。  相似文献

深入理解气候变化影响下海洋动力过程变化及其多重环境效应,是了解海岸海洋系统未来演化趋势的重要途径。因此,本文在辽东半岛东岸泥质区取柱状样一根,通过沉积物粒度、TOC/TN含量、δ13C以及δ15N等指标,分析气候变化下山东半岛北岸跨锋面物质输运强度变化,及其对辽东半岛东岸泥质区沉积有机质含量和来源的影响。结果表明,高海面时期以来,山东半岛北岸跨锋面物质输运可分为两个变化阶段:6.5~2.9 cal ka BP,其强度随冬季风和黄海暖流的不断减弱而减弱;2.9 cal ka BP至今,由于冬季风较弱而黄海暖流总体强盛,其强度随黄海暖流的波动而呈现4段式的复杂变化。此外,辽东半岛东岸泥质区陆源和海源有机质含量与其强度呈正相关,相应于跨锋面物质输运强度的变化,6.5~2.9 cal ka BP期间,陆源和海源有机质含量持续减少,而2.9 cal ka BP至今则呈现复杂的4段式变化。总体上看,自6.5 cal ka BP以来,陆源有机质贡献率不断下降而海源有机质贡献率逐渐上升。  相似文献

南海东北部深海盆底流演变受多种因素控制, 但目前对末次冰盛期以来底流的敏感指标、演变过程及其控制因素还缺乏深入认识。本文选取南海东北部深水区16ZBS11岩心开展陆源碎屑粒度测试和年龄测定, 通过粒级-标准偏差法提取环境敏感因子, 并计算底流强度及搬运能力。研究结果表明, 研究区陆源碎屑主要由粉砂和粘土组成, 砂组分仅在部分层位出现。南海东北部深海沉积环境经历了3个演化阶段, 第Ⅰ阶段为22.39~16.02ka BP, 第Ⅱ阶段为16.02~9.58ka BP, 第Ⅲ阶段为9.58ka BP至今, 各阶段粘土和粉砂组分均呈反相演变过程。海平面变化是深海沉积和海洋过程的重要影响因素, 末次冰盛期以来南海东北部深海盆底流强度和搬运能力逐渐减弱并呈同步变化, 16ka BP、11.5ka BP后南海分别与印度洋、台湾海峡连通, 影响了南海北部的海洋过程。特别是9.58ka BP以来南海北部海洋混合方式和强度的改变, 深刻影响着深海陆源碎屑的输运及沉积演化。本文研究结果为深入认识南海北部底流活动演变和南海深海过程提供了新证据。  相似文献

基于有孔虫AMS~(14)C测年的年代框架,通过对南海西北陆坡ZK2岩芯沉积物粒度、常微量和稀土元素的分析,探讨了南海西北陆坡末次盛冰期以来的沉积物来源及其对古气候的响应。研究结果显示,ZK2孔沉积物可划分为2个沉积单元:Ⅰ层(0~11.6 ka BP)为全新世沉积,Ⅱ层(11.6~28 ka BP)为末次冰期沉积。通过对其物源进行判别,可得南海西北陆坡的沉积物元素主要为陆源元素组合,且以长英质物源为主,主要来自于海南岛和珠江,红河和湄公河对其贡献相对较少。根据其典型常微量元素比值同其它古气候参数的对比,发现从末次盛冰期到末次冰消期气候逐渐变得温暖,源区的化学风化作用不断增强,到全新世时气候呈现由冷干变为暖湿,其在7.3ka BP达到顶峰,然后又变为冷干的状态。东亚夏季风的强度变化同30°N夏季日照辐射量相一致,说明其主要受北半球夏季太阳辐射的驱动。  相似文献

本文通过对南海东北部STD235沉积柱状样品稀土元素(REE)分布模式及特征参数的分析,结合主量元素分析结果,探讨了STD235柱状样沉积物REE指示的物质来源及其纵向变化与环境之间的关系。研究结果表明:20 ka以来STD235站位的沉积物具有基本相同的物质来源,以陆源物质输入为主。通过与周边河流沉积物的对比分析发现,STD235柱状样沉积物REE上地壳标准化的配分模式及其特征参数分布与台湾东南部河流沉积物具有密切的亲缘关系,表明该站位陆源物质主要来源于台湾东南部河流输入,进一步的分析表明台西南河流沉积物对该站位也有所贡献,沉积物的搬运过程主要受到了北太平洋深海流及黑潮的影响。沉积物中REE和主量元素的纵向变化指示20 ka以来南海东北部下陆坡的沉积物源区在冰期时风化作用较弱,间冰期则相对增强。该变化与沉积物源区的气候环境变化有关,指示了20 ka以来台湾地区气候由相对冷干向暖湿转变,由此推测20 ka以来台湾岛和华南地区应该受相同环境因素的制约,东亚季风系统是控制该区域环境变化的主因。此外,在约16~13 ka BP的末次冰消期期间,STD235柱状样沉积物中的各项指标都发生了显著的变化,并都指示了风化作用的逐渐增强,代表了该阶段沉积物源区逐渐向暖湿的气候环境转变。  相似文献

通过综合分析东海陆架南部EA05岩心上部30 m的岩性、有孔虫丰度和一些特征的地球化学参数,探讨了该段岩心的气候地层划分。该段岩心可依次划分为末次盛冰期(30~11.85 m)、冰消期(11.85~5 m)和冰后期(5~0 m)地层。末次盛冰期时气温低,研究区水深浅,沉积物中有孔虫丰度很低,且大多数热带浮游有孔虫种属消失,此时陆源物质输入量较大,沉积物中有机质含量高,黑潮对东海陆架南部影响小。随着冰消期以来气温回升,海面上升,研究区水深增大,岩心中有孔虫丰度急剧增加;陆源物质输入量减少,沉积速率降低。大约在16 ka B.P.左右,黑潮重新开始对东海南部陆架产生影响。在EA05岩心的6~5 m,3.4~3.0 m和1.4~1.2 m处分辨出了3个冷事件,可能分别对应于YD事件、8.2 ka B.P.冷事件和3.8 ka B.P.新冰期Ⅲ,反映出该地区冰消期和冰后期气候波动较大。  相似文献

对冲绳海槽南部E017柱状沉积物进行了地球化学分析,结果表明,该柱状沉积物主要的化学组成为SiO2、Al2O3、CaO和TFe2O3(全铁),K2O、Na2O,MgO和MnO次之,具有明显的东海陆架沉积特征,但微量元素明显富集。R型因子分析可将该柱状沉积物的化学组成划分为5种组合类型:(1)SiO2,Na2O,Zr,Al2O3,K2O,TFe2O3,MgO,Co和Cr;(2)CaO和Sr;(3)SiO2,Na2O和Zr;(4)Cu,Pb,Zn和Ni;(5)MnO和Ba。根据元素在垂向上的协同变化关系,前3个元素组合分别对应于陆源碎屑沉积、生源沉积和火山沉积,后两个元素组合主要与早期成岩过程中元素的再分配和自生沉积作用有关。氧同位素和AMS^14C的测年结果表明,该柱状沉积物属于末次冰消期(约15kaBP)以来的沉积,全新世和末次冰梢期的界线在175cm左右。与全新世相比,末次冰消期沉积速率较高,沉积物的料度相对较粗,陆源碎屑组分SiO2、Al2O3、K2O等相对较高,生源组分CaO和Sr的含量相对较低。  相似文献

本文通过对南极斯科舍海东南部DC-11岩芯生物硅、有机氮、TFe2O3与有机氮同位素的年代学分析,重建了该海区3.4万年以来古生产力与环境演变历史。研究结果表明,生物硅、有机氮含量与南极温度变化基本一致,暖期高、冷期低;有机氮同位素值与南大洋海冰变化相吻合,暖期小、冷期大,冷期硝酸盐利用率大于暖期。从末次冰期、末次冰消期至全新世,研究区古生产力与环境变化显著,南极冷倒转等千年尺度的变化明显;海冰在气候、营养盐与古生产力之间起着重要的关联作用。冰期或冷期海冰的加强导致表层水层化加强,深层水及其营养盐的上涌减弱,表层海洋硝酸盐等相对匮乏,生产力降低。研究区现代与全新世铁供应充足,在风尘盛行的末次冰期和冰消期呈过剩状态,明显不同于亚南极。  相似文献

This paper presents reconstructions of ice sheet boundaries, lacustrine and marine paleobasins, as well as the connections of the Barents and Baltic seas with the North Atlantic from the Last Glacial Maximum to the Holocene. The reconstructions are based on original and published data obtained from the northern and western parts of the Barents Sea and Baltic depressions with account for the available regional schematic maps of deglaciation. The early deglaciation of the Scandinavian–Barents ice sheet culminated with the Bølling-Allerød interstadial (14.5–12.9 cal ka BP), which was characterized by a more vigorous Atlantic meridional overturning circulation (AMOC) and a corresponding increase in surface Atlantic water inflow into the Barents Sea through deep troughs. The Baltic Ice Lake (BIL) remained a dammed-up isolated basin during deglaciation from 16.0 to 11.7 cal ka BP. In the Younger Dryas (YD), the lake drained into the North Sea and was replaced by a brackish Yoldia Sea (YS) at the beginning of the Holocene (Preboreal, 11.7–10.7 cal ka BP), due to a limited connection between two basins through the Närke Strait. In the Barents Sea, the next increase in the Atlantic water influx into the deep basins corresponded to terminal YD and Preboreal events with a culmination in the Early Holocene. The Yoldia Sea became a lake again during the next stage, the Ancylus (~10.7–8.8 cal ka BP). Atlantic water inflow both into the Barents and Baltic seas varied during the Holocene, with a maximum contribution in the Early Holocene, when the Littorina Sea (LS, 8–4 cal ka BP) connection with the North Sea via the Danish Straits was formed to replace the Ancylus Lake. The recent, post-Littorina stage (PS, the last 4 cal ka) of the Baltic Sea evolution began in the Late Holocene.  相似文献

本文基于白令海北部陆坡ARC6-B11岩心的沉积物粒度、颜色反射率、有机碳/氮含量和高分辨率化学元素XRF扫描数据,结合底栖和浮游有孔虫AMS14C测年资料,重建了研究区23 ka以来至中全新世的沉积记录,重点研究了海冰的扩张变化对生产力和沉积物输入的影响。研究结果显示,末次盛冰期白令海北部陆坡受到海冰南向扩张的影响而生产力较低,沉积物中砂粒级和冰筏碎屑(IRD)含量较高。HS 1时期由于受到常年冰的覆盖,沉积物中砂粒级和IRD含量存在低值,沉积物中较高的总有机碳(TOC)含量受陆源有机质的影响较大,异常的TOC含量峰值主要受到低海平面和海冰形成过程产生的富氧水团控制下的高浓度细粒物质携带的陆源有机质的快速沉积作用的影响,难以作为反映白令海古生产力的替代指标。B/A暖期和全新世生产力较高,在B/A暖期存在Ca/Ti峰值现象,Ca/Ti峰值现象的产生与碳酸盐补偿深度增加有关,水体通风条件的改变可能起到一定的作用,也不能忽视颗石藻对其产生的潜在影响。  相似文献

通过对两根沉积柱GHE27L和GHE24L的总有机碳(TOC)、总氮(TN)、C/N比值及稳定碳同位素(δ13Corg)的分析,本文探讨了21.1 ka BP以来南海北部陆坡神狐海域沉积有机质的组成特征及可能的古气候/环境信息。沉积柱GHE27L的TOC含量、TN含量、C/N比值及δ13Corg值分别为0.53%~1.81%,0.07%~0.18%,8.2~16.0和-23.6‰~-20.3‰。沉积柱GHE24L各参数则分布为0.45%~1.65%,0.09%~0.24%,5.3~12.2和-22.6‰~-20.4‰。沉积柱总体有机质的剖面变化显示,末次盛冰期以来南海北部沉积有机质具有海洋和陆地混合来源,但以海洋有机质来源为主。冰期陆源有机质对总有机质的相对贡献比全新世高。末次盛冰期南海北部气候相对干旱,C4植被发育。全新世夏季风增强、降雨增多。自2.0 ka BP以来,人类活动对南海北部海洋初级生产力产生一定的影响。  相似文献

The Corgo do Porto is a small tributary of the Mira River, outleting 3.5 km upstream of its mouth. The valley is flat-floored due to terrigenous siltation and forms an alluvial plain reclaimed for agriculture/aquaculture. These conditions were quite distinct in the recent past because of extensive marine flooding of this area during the high-rate positive eustatism that followed the Last Glacial Maximum. The Holocene sedimentary column registers changes imposed by several forcing factors, mainly the climate-driven sea-level rise. As part of a multidisciplinary study, the sedimentological and micropalaeontological (benthic foraminifera and calcareous nannofossils) contents of a core taken from this infill were analyzed, and five different stages were distinguished within its environmental evolution: Stage A (prior to 10,000 cal yrs BP) consists of muddy, matrix-supported sand with abundant pebbles, barren of microfossils, and free of carbonates and organic matter that represents a fluvial environment contemporaneous of a low sea level. Between 10,000 and circa 4000 cal yrs BP the sediment is made of homogeneous mud, with bioclasts and organic matter. However, the assemblages of foraminifera and calcareous nannoplankton allowed the identification of several environmental stages, defining a cycle of increasing–decreasing marine influence inside the valley: brackish and brackish-marine sedimentation (Stage B), full-marine sedimentation (Stage C) and a return to brackish-marine sedimentation (Stage D). The final part of the core is barren of microfossils (Stage E) and it represents the modern sedimentation in the area with an accreting alluvial plain. This Holocene sedimentary sequence reflects an evolutionary succession that closely agrees with the palaeoenvironmental model previously presented by the authors elsewhere for the south-western Portuguese coast, where a change in the rate of sea-level rise has been recorded at around 5500 cal yrs BP when a very effective sandy barrier formed and isolated restricted brackish to fresh-water lagoonal environments from the open sea.  相似文献

Environmental changes in the surface and bottom water layers of the Ingøydjupet Basin and the history of the Atlantic Water inflow to the southwestern Barents Sea during the last 16 ka are reconstructed based on planktic and benthic foraminiferal assemblages. The multiproxy study of sediment cores PSh-5159R and PSh-5159N, including AMS 14C dating, provides a time resolution of about 200 years for the deglaciation, 100 years for the Holocene, and 25–50 years for the last 400 years. Stable polar conditions with the sea ice at the surface were typical for the Early Deglaciation period. Unstable bottom settings and the onset of ice rafting marked the Oldest Dryas. The cold Atlantic Water inflow increased notably during the Bölling-Alleröd interstadial nearby the site location and then decreased during the Younger Dryas. The initial Holocene was characterized by abrupt warming in bottom and surface water layers, especially ~9.7–7.6 ka BP. Stable conditions prevailed during the Middle Holocene. Remarkable changes in the sea-surface temperature and bottom environments occurred during the last 2.5 cal. ka BP.  相似文献

A multi-proxy study including sedimentological, mineralogical, biogeochemical and micropaleontological methods was conducted on sediment core PS69/849-2 retrieved from Burton Basin, MacRobertson Shelf, East Antarctica. The goal of this study was to depict the deglacial and Holocene environmental history of the MacRobertson Land–Prydz Bay region. A special focus was put on the timing of ice-sheet retreat and the variability of bottom-water formation due to sea ice formation through the Holocene. Results from site PS69/849-2 provide the first paleo-environmental record of Holocene variations in bottom-water production probably associated to the Cape Darnley polynya, which is the second largest polynya in the Antarctic. Methods included end-member modeling of laser-derived high-resolution grain size data to reconstruct the depositional regimes and bottom-water activity. The provenance of current-derived and ice-transported material was reconstructed using clay-mineral and heavy-mineral analysis. Conclusions on biogenic production were drawn by determination of biogenic opal and total organic carbon. It was found that the ice shelf front started to retreat from the site around 12.8 ka BP. This coincides with results from other records in Prydz Bay and suggests warming during the early Holocene optimum next to global sea level rise as the main trigger. Ice-rafted debris was then supplied to the site until 5.5 cal. ka BP, when Holocene global sea level rise stabilized and glacial isostatic rebound on MacRobertson Land commenced. Throughout the Holocene, three episodes of enhanced bottom-water activity probably due to elevated brine rejection in Cape Darnley polynya occured between 11.5 and 9 cal. ka BP, 5.6 and 4.5 cal. ka BP and since 1.5 cal. ka BP. These periods are related to shifts from warmer to cooler conditions at the end of Holocene warm periods, in particular the early Holocene optimum, the mid-Holocene warm period and at the beginning of the neoglacial. In contrast, between 7.7 and 6.7 cal. ka BP, brine rejection shut down, maybe owed to warm conditions and pronounced open-water intervals.  相似文献

Abstract. Oceanographic evidence along with the data on Euphausia superba distribution indicate that the reproductive range of this species is related to the southernmost core of the Antarctic Circumpolar Current (ACC), the Weddell Gyre, the Ross Gyre, and the systems of mesoscale eddies in the Bellingshausen Sea, in the Prydz Bay area. and the D'Urville Sea. During the Last Glaciation Maximum, at ca. 18 ka BP, both the Weddell and the Ross Gyres as well as near-coastal circulations probably lost their importance in the maintenance of Antarctic krill populations due to cooling of the water column and development of multi-year sea ice. Within the ACC at that time, some smaller-scale circulations related to islands and seamounts could have played a major role in controlling krill distribution. If, nevertheless. refugia for self-maintained krill populations remained in the near-coastal zone, particularly in the eastern Indian sector, geographical isolation might have caused divergence between the two species of the gregarine Cephaloidophora commonly infesting krill at present.  相似文献
