北吕宋海槽深海滑坡沉积及其分布特征   总被引:1,自引:1,他引:0  
通过浅地层剖面和多波束地形资料的精细解释,在北吕宋海槽中部发现了一个规模约500 km2,平均厚20多米的海底滑坡沉积。通过对该滑坡体的物源及其沉积环境分析,将整个滑坡体沉积分为末端区和前缘区两个部分。从滑坡体与周围地层的叠置关系及火山弧喷发的历史来看,初步认为该海底滑坡是地震造成的。该滑坡体的发现对深化深水滑坡体的认识具有重要作用。  相似文献

南黄海辐射沙脊群中部黄沙洋潮流通道的浅层地震剖面揭示了3处典型海底滑坡,滑坡区域西南距如东大洋口34.5km,南距西太阳沙人工岛17.1km。潮流通道中段北侧,即蒋家沙南坡的滑坡规模较大,滑坡后壁下滑错断达15m,宽度超过300m;潮流通道中段南侧,即茄儿杆子沙北坡东西两处探测到的滑坡形态相似且距离接近,应为同一滑坡体,为中型等级。黄沙洋潮流通道近几十年沉积动力环境基本稳定,滑坡体各错断上部均无沉积物覆盖,故推断1984年5月21日南黄海Ms 6.2级地震是诱发这两个海底滑坡体的主要因素。该地震震中位于NW—SE向苏北—滨海断裂带和E—W向栟茶河断裂带的交叉区,上述两个滑坡发生于这两个断裂带近震中处,且前一个断裂带(该地震的主破裂面)上诱发的滑坡体规模较大。本区海底上部普遍发育潮汐环境下形成的砂泥互层沉积,下部为古河道砂质沉积,加之潮道边坡坡度相对较大,震动触使含水砂层运动,出现"液化现象",造成边坡失稳而诱发上部地层发生错断,导致潮流通道两侧沙脊边坡出现滑坡。近年来,江苏海岸开发加速,工程建设加快,潜在滑坡以及浅层气、软基等地质灾害在辐射沙脊群海域相对密集,探明与查清滑坡体空间分布与发展趋势,对保障海岸重大工程建设安全具重要意义。  相似文献

2003年11月,黄河水下三角洲2条海底电缆断裂,推测与该区域冲蚀沟较为发育有关。通过多波束测深、浅地层剖面探测、侧扫声呐调查等物探调查方法对埕岛海区开展地质调查,以揭示黄河三角洲地区海底滑坡诱发条件。研究发现:埕岛海区海底存在多条冲蚀沟,软弱土层较为发育,冲蚀沟地层扰动较为明显;通过波浪海流对海底土体的影响分析,判断不同水深和不同土体在浪潮流作用下海底冲蚀沟的发育程度,得出海底滑坡的诱发条件,结合人类活动和海底自然坡度等因素的影响,分析研究区仍然具有发生海底滑坡的可能性。  相似文献

基于最新的高分辨率多波束全覆盖测深数据、单道地震和多道地震剖面数据,对南海北部陆坡一统峡谷群9条峡谷的地形地貌及沉积特征进行了分析:峡谷群自陆坡向深海盆方向呈聚敛型,横断面主要呈"V"型,谷壁对称发育,坡度较陡;研究区海底地层受多条断裂控制,呈典型阶梯状发育,海底断陷、重力滑塌面和小型滑坡体等海底不稳定地质灾害高度发育,说明峡谷群海底环境处于极不稳定状态。在研究区海底峡谷群地貌演化过程中,西沙海槽区域沉降等新生代构造运动控制着峡谷群地貌格局的形成;来自北部陆架的充足沉积碎屑物质的输入往往伴随着高密度浊流、海底滑坡、坍塌等海底灾害的发生,控制着峡谷群的进一步发育;相对海平面变化直接改变了研究区的沉积环境,为陆源碎屑物质的搬运提供了更加直接的通道,这也是诱发陆坡海底失稳、塑造峡谷群地貌特征的重要因素之一。  相似文献

舟山群岛海域峡道密布,峡道边坡失稳现象普遍发育,规模不一。多发的水下滑坡对海底光缆、港口码头等海岸工程设施都有较大威胁。2012年12月,使用浅地层剖面仪对六横岛周边峡道区进行探测,划分出3个主要声学反射界面以及4个地层单元,上部3个地层为全新世沉积层。发现6处水下滑坡,分布于六横岛沿岸边坡及毗邻的潮流深槽边坡。滑坡结构均为整体性滑坡,部分具多级性。从滑坡体规模看,滑坡体体积介于1.6×105~2.7×107 m3之间,其中超大型滑坡2处、大型滑坡3处、中型滑坡1处。根据界面与滑坡体的相关性,推测水下滑坡均发生在距今2.5 ka以来的全新世晚期。  相似文献

基于船载多波束测深、浅地层剖面和深水浅层高分辨多道地震剖面等数据资料,以我国第一个深水气田—荔湾3-1气田海底管道路由区深水段(200m)为研究区,划分海底地形地貌分区,识别可能危害海底管道的地质灾害类型,分析其特征与分布规律。结果表明,研究区内主要地质灾害类型为海底峡谷、海底滑坡和滑塌、古珊瑚礁、海底沙波和大波痕、海底陡坎、断崖和陡坡、碎屑流沉积和浊流沉积等。其中,海底滑坡和滑塌在上陆坡和峡谷谷壁上十分发育,海底滑坡(滑塌)、古珊瑚礁和沙波(沙丘)等影响和威胁着海底管道的铺设与安全运行。  相似文献

海底滑坡是一种由于重力失稳导致的广泛发生在外陆架-上陆坡-深海平原的沉积物搬运体,是海底沉积物重要的搬运过程,具有较强的侵蚀能力和搬运能力,可将大量陆架沉积物搬运至深海,为深海带来丰富的沉积物。再沉积后的滑坡体因其特殊的内部结构,对海洋油气成藏有重要影响。综合国内外研究,对海底滑坡空间展布特征和垂向结构特征进行总结,对滑坡体岩石物理特征进行梳理,揭示海底滑坡边界特征、内部结构以及岩石物理特征。结合海底滑坡特征,从提供物源、储层、盖层、改变海底温压等方面分析海底滑坡对海底油气藏的积极意义,从破坏盖层、改变海底土体温压环境等方面分析海底滑坡对海底油气藏的负面影响。最后结合国内外研究现状,指出未来应对海底滑坡微尺度特征识别、进一步开展海底滑坡与海底油气藏联系以及加强海洋油气开发致灾风险等方面进行深入研究。  相似文献

海底滑坡作为常见的海洋地质灾害,对海洋油气工程安全产生巨大威胁。海床土体失稳引起滑坡体滑动,会对海底管道产生拖曳作用。基于计算流体动力学方法(CFD)建立海底滑坡体对管道作用的评估模型,采用H-B模型描述块状滑坡体并与试验比较验证,分析不同海床倾斜度滑坡对管道的作用并拟合表达式;研究了海底管道在滑坡作用下的力学响应,并采用极限状态方法开展海底滑坡作用下管道结构极限安全分析,探讨了管道埋地状态时的极限安全界限,建立滑坡作用下管道结构安全分析方法。研究表明:滑坡对管道作用力与海床倾角呈现正相关,而覆土层厚度对作用力影响较小;随着不排水抗剪强度的减小,允许的滑坡宽度和速度均增加,表明土体不排水抗剪强度与引起的拖曳力呈正相关;滑坡土体宽度对极限安全速度影响较大。  相似文献

为有效地监测海岛山体滑坡,找到滑坡的诱发因素,以达到海岛地区防灾减灾的目的。本文以北长山岛为例,针对采石引起的滑坡,利用GPS、三维激光扫描、无人机遥感、位移传感器4种滑坡监测方法,联合建立了北长山岛山后村山体滑坡监测系统。通过对比分析这4种方法发现,在三维激光扫描点云数据密集的滑坡体中、下部选择三维激光扫描获取的滑坡体形态数据,在点云数据稀疏的滑坡体上部选择无人机遥测获取的滑坡体形态数据,精确获取了不同时期滑坡体的挖方量、滑移量;位移传感器获取的实时位移监测数据可得到滑坡体的实时滑移动态,发现在其监测数据突变时滑坡存在滑动的风险。研究还发现采石和降雨是引起山后村滑坡体滑移的两个最重要因素,采石导致滑坡体体积整体减小,降雨导致滑坡体上部拉张加速并引起碎石滑塌。由于监测区环境条件的限制,该系统只能进行滑坡体的表面变形监测。研究成果可为其他海岛滑坡的监测乃至预警提供借鉴和参考。  相似文献

为了解海底滑坡在陆架坡折演化过程中所起的作用并分析影响海底滑坡发育的因素,以最新采集的二维和三维地震资料为基础,综合运用了地貌分析和地震解释技术,通过对滑坡的地貌形态特征及地震响应特征进行详细刻画,在珠江口盆地陆架坡折带新近纪地层中识别出多处海底滑坡,明确了其分布范围并建立了滑坡发育的地质模式。分析认为,珠江口盆地相对海平面变化和流体活动的综合作用是导致研究区海底不稳定的主要因素。海底滑坡发源于海底峡谷的朔源侵蚀,向上陆坡扩展并终止于陆架坡折带。  相似文献

Three dimensional seismic data, offshore Brunei, provide evidence for a giant landslide with a volume of 1200 km3, an area of ∼ 5300 km2 and an average thickness of ∼ 240 m. It extends for over 120 km from the Baram Canyon in ∼ 200 m water depth to the deep basin floor of the North West Borneo Trough. The landslide is a unique example of a major submarine landslide located on a steep, tectonically active margin adjacent to a large river and canyon system. The landslide is mappable using 3D seismic data, which allow detailed imaging of internal flow structures, erosional headwall and the basal sliding surface. The landslide is a complex deposit, involving a chaotic debris flow matrix, with flow structures and blocks 500 to 1000 m wide and up to 250 m thick. Imaging of the basal sliding surface reveals large striations ∼ 30-120 km long, ∼ 100-600 m wide, and ∼ 10-30 m deep that show significant amounts of basal erosion. In the landslide source area we describe fluid escape structures, gas buildups and bottom simulating reflectors, which may provide a mechanism for weakening and triggering slope failure. We also report older landslides, buried several hundred meters beneath the basin floor that indicate giant landsliding is a recurrent process in the NW Borneo Trough.  相似文献

1990~1991年,我所对东山岛海域进行海底地形、底质调查、水文泥沙测验时发现:1)沿东山岛一古雷半岛的NNE、NE向断裂在海域呈现为落差可达20m左右“V”字型深糟;2)在东山岛东部10m等深线以东海域发育众多的水沙丘群,水深15m左右有一地形坡折线,水深20~25m海底为水下一级阶地。据底质粒度、石英电镜扫描、重矿物、地球化学指标等分析表明,水下沙丘群分布区的沉积为准残留沉积,水下一级阶地及水下沙丘为早期滨岸的准残留地貌作,又受到后期现代水动力的改造。  相似文献

Landslide processes on the western slope of the Kuril Basin were studied using bathymetry and seismic data obtained under the international KOMEX and SSGH projects. Slope areas containing landslides, landslide blocks and mass-transport deposits were distinguished. Large-scale landslides occupying an area of more than 100 km2 are located in such areas of open continental margins as the slopes of the North Hokkaido Marginal Plateau and Terpeniya Ridge. Landslide blocks up to 2 km in size and mass-transport deposits are located in submarine canyons and fans in Terpeniya Bay. The age of landslides has been estimated as Middle Pleistocene–Holocene. Landslides are most likely triggered by seismic activity and gas saturation of sediments. Subsequent slope failure seems quite probable within the study area, and landslides capable of generating tsunamis may occur.  相似文献

Analysis of geophysical data obtained during a study of the insular slope in the central Kuril?Kamchatka Trench during projects Kuriles-2005 and Kuriles-2006 promoted by the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences revealed a large submarine landslide in this area. The landslide, located at the bottom of the transverse valley confined to the Bussol l Graben, resulted from the failure of the northeastern wall of a graben composed of sedimentary material. It exceeds 35 km3 in size, representing one of the large submarine landslides discovered to date on the slope of the Kuril?Kamchatka Trench in submarine canyonfan environments.  相似文献

The upper part of the continental slope in the northern South China Sea is prone to submarine landslide disasters,especially in submarine canyons. This work studies borehole sediments, discusses geotechnical properties of sediments, and evaluates sediment stability in the study area. The results show that sediment shear strength increases with increasing depth, with good linear correlation. Variations in shear strength of sediments with burial depth have a significantly greater rate of change in the canyon head and middle part than those in the canyon bottom. For sediments at the same burial depth, shear strength gradually increased and then decreased from the head to the bottom of the canyon, and has no obvious correlation with the slope angle of the sampling site. Under static conditions, the critical equilibrium slope angle of the sediments in the middle part of the canyon is 10° to 12°, and the critical slope angle in the head and the bottom of the canyon is 7°. The results indicate that potential landslide hazard areas are mainly distributed in distinct spots or narrow strips on the canyon walls where there are high slope angles.  相似文献

The process of mass movements and their consequent turbidity currents in large submarine canyons has been widely reported, however, little attention was paid to that in small canyons. In this paper, we document mass movements in small submarine canyons in the northeast of Baiyun deepwater area, north of the South China Sea(SCS), and their strong effects on the evolution of the canyons based on geophysical data. Submarine canyons in the study area arrange closely below the shelf break zone which was at the depth of –500 m. Within submarine canyons, seabed surface was covered with amounts of failure scars resulted from past small-sized landslides. A complex process of mass transportation in the canyons is indicated by three directions of mass movements.Recent mass movement deposits in the canyons exhibit translucent reflections or parallel reflections which represent the brittle deformation and the plastic deformation, respectively. The area of most landslides in the canyons is less than 3 km2. The trigger mechanisms for mass movements in the study area are gravitational overloading, slope angle and weak properties of soil. Geophysical data indicate that the genesis of submarine canyons is the erosion of mass movements and consequent turbidity currents. The significant effects of mass movements on canyon are incision and sediment transportation at the erosion phases and fillings supply at the fill phases. This research will be helpful for the geological risk assessments and understanding the sediment transportation in the northern margin of the SCS.  相似文献

High-resolution and high-density 2-D multichannel seismic data, combined with high-precision multibeam bathymetric map, are utilized to investigate the characteristics and distribution of submarine landslides in the middle of the northern continental slope, South China Sea. In the region, a series of 19 downslope-extending submarine canyons are developed. The canyons are kilometers apart, and separated by inter-canyon sedimentary ridges. Numerous submarine landslides, bounded by headscarps and basal glide surfaces, are identified on the seismic profiles by their distorted to chaotic reflections. Listric faults and rotational blocks in head areas and compressional folds and inverse faults at the toes of the landslides are possibly developed. Three types of submarine landslides, i.e., creeps, slumps, and landslide complexes, are recognized. These landslides are mostly distributed in the head areas and on the flanks of the canyons. As the most widespread landslides in the region, creeps are usually composed of multiple laterally-coalesced creep bodies, in which the boundaries of singular component creep bodies are difficult to delineate. In addition, a total of 77 landslides are defined, including 61 singular slumps and 16 landslide complexes that consist of two or more component landslides. Statistics show that most landslides are of a small dimension (0.53–18.09 km² in area) and a short runout distance (less than 3.5 km). Regional and local slope gradients and rheological behavior of the displaced materials might play important roles in the generation and distribution of the submarine landslides. A conceptual model for the co-evolution of the canyons and the associated landslides in the study area is presented. In the model it is assumed that the canyons are initiated from gullies created by landslides on steeper sites of the continental slope. The nascent canyons would then experience successive retrogressive landsliding events to extend upslope; at the same time canyon downcutting or incision would steepen the canyon walls to induce more landslides.  相似文献

本文利用在西太平洋牛郎海山布放的两套锚系潜标获取的长时间海流观测数据,分析了深海的海洋动力环境特征,着重阐释了该海域海流的全水深垂向结构及其低频变化特征。结果表明:(1)年平均海流及其变化幅度均在上层最大、中层和深层次之、中深层最小;(2)年平均上,150 m以浅的海流为东向的副热带逆流,150 m以深和中层为西向流;山顶处的近底层海流为较稳定的弱南向流,山底处的近底层海流为西南向流;(3)在山顶和山底,各深度层次的海流在全年均表现出100 d左右的振荡周期;在2 000 m以浅,各深度层次的海流振荡的位相基本一致,振荡幅度在表层最强、随深度的增加而减小;在2 000 m以深,海流变化的位相与2 000 m以浅相反,振荡幅度在4 000 m最强。  相似文献
