沿海地区的海相地层记录了极其丰富的环境信息,研究海相层的地层特征和沉积环境,对理解古环境演变的过程、探讨沉积记录对海陆变迁的响应机制具有重要意义。QTZ1孔位于温州瓯江口北侧平原,根据岩石地层和磁性地层资料,钻孔34 m处为Q_h/Q■界线,91.5 m处为Q■/Q■界线。综合考虑刺甲藻、环纹藻的环境意义,钻孔沉积物粒度及微体化石组合的分析结果表明,温州沿海平原晚更新世以来共识别出3套海相地层单元,第二海相层和第三海相层之间发育有完整的陆相沉积层。沉积动力条件经历了低能(Q■)→中低能(Q■)→中高能(Q■)→低能(Q■)→高能(Q■)→中低能(Q■)→中低能(Q■)→低能(Q■)→低能(Q_h)的演化过程。受海平面变化影响,研究区晚更新世沉积相变化频繁,以海陆过渡相、陆相和局部的浅海相为主,全新世沉积相以浅海相为主,全新世末期逐渐转为滨海相。  相似文献

通过对埕岛海域DB9孔岩性、生物以及年代学的地层分析,将其自上而下划分成三个海相层(全新世海相和三角洲相沉积层、献县海侵海相层、浅海相层)和三个陆相层(平原河湖相层、平原河流相层、陆相层),并解释了古环境演变。对比现代黄河三角洲近海各钻孔,总结出黄骅海侵以来的滨浅海—前三角洲—滨浅海—前三角洲等四元层序,从而全面地阐明了埕岛海域晚第四纪地质演变历史。  相似文献

海面变化对沿海地区的自然环境和社会经济有着重要影响,了解过去海面变化规律可以为预测未来海面上升情景提供参考依据。以长江古河口湾湾顶附近的扬州市昌建广场建筑工地所揭示的自然沉积剖面(CJGC剖面)为研究对象,通过详细调研,在剖面下部发现了保存有海相贝壳的涌潮沉积,为研究全新世最高海面和最大海侵提供了绝佳的地质材料。通过系统的沉积相与光释光(OSL)年代学研究,重建了古河口湾中全新世以来沉积环境的变化过程。结果表明,该地点中全新世以来经历了从陆相→潮滩→河口沙坝→河漫滩的沉积环境变迁,清晰显示了由海侵到海退的变化过程。OSL测年数据表明长江河口全新世最高海面和河口湾湾顶最大海侵出现的年代约为5.6 ka,当时对应的海面高度不低于海拔1.3 m,这一时期的高海面在世界多地均有记录。  相似文献

探地雷达在确定全新世海侵线方面的应用   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
针对全新世大暖期古海岸线位置的不确定性问题,提出了一种利用探地雷达进行最大海侵位置追踪的方法,在探地雷达可获得连续沉积地层图像的理论基础上,在具有丰富研究资料的莱州湾东岸开展了实验研究。结果表明,利用Mala RAMAC100MHz天线结合相应的图像处理手段,能够识别区域10 m以内浅地层中海陆相沉积物分界面,与已有钻孔和现场探挖浅孔剖面对比,具有较好的一致性。证实了利用探地雷达追踪全新世海侵时期古地层、将海相层尖灭点处确定为最大海侵线位置,进一步恢复古环境是可行的。本文为研究古海岸线位置提供的方法,即通过探地雷达探测地层,得到高清的可视化图像,这使得古海岸线位置确定更精确、更直观。  相似文献

渤、黄、东海陆架底质的形成分布与末次盛冰期之后的海侵密切相关。末次盛冰期结束、海侵开始以来 ,潮流是渤、黄、东海陆架上的永久性主导作用应力。为从长期沉积动力演变过程的角度 ,探讨渤、黄、东海陆架底质形成分布的有关成因问题 ,利用数值模拟手段 ,再现了末次盛冰期以来 6个时期渤、黄、东海陆架潮流作用下海底的冲淤格局及底质分布。结果表明 ,扬子浅滩南侧东海外陆架的砂质沉积基本上是自 - 80 m海面以来形成的。扬子浅滩形成于 -5 2 m海面之后 ,至 - 3 0 m海面时已有一定规模 ,全新世最大海侵之后 ,逐渐形成现在规模的扬子浅滩。南黄海中部泥自 - 5 2 m海面时就已开始形成 ,- 3 0 m海面时范围很大 ,侵入北黄海 ,全新世最大海侵以来 ,逐渐调整到现在的范围。渤海中央泥、北黄海西部泥、浙闽岸外泥、辽东半岛西侧与北侧的砂质沉积、西朝鲜湾与江华湾中的砂质沉积以及苏北浅滩是自全新世最大海侵以来逐渐形成的。海州湾中砂质沉积形成的盛期在公元 8世纪之后。济洲岛西南泥、南黄海东部泥很可能分别形成于 - 3 0 m海面、- 5 2 m海面以来。全新世渤、黄、东海陆架底质分布的演变过程大致分为 2个阶段 :全新世最大海侵之前为渤、黄、东海陆架底质分布宏观格局的形成阶段 ;全新世最大海侵至今为渤  相似文献

利用南海西沙周缘地震资料,进行了地震相研究,并结合邻区地质资料,进行了南海西沙周缘新生代沉积相分析,讨论了盆地的充填演化历史。研究认为,南海西沙周缘盆地充填断陷期以陆相和海陆过渡相沉积为主;坳陷期以海陆过渡相和海相沉积为主,自下而上充填了一套冲积相-湖相(始新统)-海陆交替相(渐新统)-滨浅海台地相(中-下中新统)-浅海、半深海相(上新统-第四系)沉积序列,盆地的充填历史反映了南海西沙周缘沉积环境由陆相向海相逐渐过渡的过程。通过对油气地质条件分析,认为始新世-渐新世早期是重要的烃源岩发育期;渐新世晚期-中新世中期是储层发育期;中新世晚期后是区域该层发育时期。  相似文献

泻湖是全新世海侵以来发育的以淤积为主的海岸地貌,其沉积地层蕴含了丰富的古环境演变信息.对朝阳港泻湖SO4钻孔岩芯样品作粒度、软体动物、孢粉和14C等项目的测试分析,将该孔地层自下而上划分成陆相、滨浅海相、泻湖相、泻湖-沼泽相等四层和Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ,Ⅳ个孢粉组合带.基于对地层和孢粉组合特点的深入剖析,结果表明朝阳港泻湖自全新世海侵以来经历了海湾、沙坝-泻湖和泻湖-沼泽等3个环境演化阶段,同时存在明显的沉积环境和气候变化事件,包括8~7 ka B.P.海陆相之间的不整合沉积间断事件、7~6 ka B.P.的气候暖湿事件和5~4 ka B.P.的明显降温事件.  相似文献

根据钻孔资料分析了长江三角洲冰后期层序的构成:古河谷内由河床相,浅海相-河口湾相组成,海侵面在滞留沉积与潮坪堆积物之间,最大海侵面位于浅海相和前三角洲泥质层中,古河间地层层序包含滨海相,浅海相和潮坪相,其海侵面与层序界面重合,最大海侵面在浅海泥质层中,在古河谷和古河间的沉积相组合不同,但二者同在一个海侵海退旋回中形成,属同一层序。  相似文献

天津塘沽地区海河断裂的浅部构造特征   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
基于在海河上开展水上人工地震探测获得的高分辨率浅部声学地震剖面,结合钻孔获得的年代地层资料,对海河断裂在天津塘沽地区的浅部地层结构和断层活动特征进行了研究。研究结果表明,天津塘沽地区晚第四纪地层中的4个海相层具有层位稳定、地震相易于连续追踪的特点。在声学地震剖面上,自河底R0向下可识别出R1,R2,R3,R4,R5,R6,R7,R8和R9反射波组界面,可分别作为全新世陆相层、第Ⅰ海相层、海陆交互相地层、第Ⅱ陆相层、第Ⅱ海相层、第Ⅲ陆相层、第Ⅲ海相层、第Ⅳ陆相层、第Ⅳ海相层等地层单元之间的界限。此外,研究证实海河断裂在天津塘沽地区的上断点位于河面以下50~55 ms深处,与钻孔资料基本吻合,海河断裂的最新活动时间大约在晚更新世晚期。  相似文献

A total of 120 grab samples of the surficial sediments in the Cap-Breton submarine canyon and surrounding continental shelf were collected and analyzed by grain-size sieving. A Q-mode Factor Analysis was made on the grain-size data in order to define the most meaningful facies types. Four distinct lithological facies were found to exist: silt and clay, very fine sand, fine sand, and coarse sand. Comparison with previous work and a 14C date on the silt and clay facies showed that the facies are not contemporaneous. The sands and coarse sands on the shelf were emplaced during the pre-Würm and Würm regressions, and later probably reworked during the Holocene (Flandrian) transgression. The silty clays found in the canyon and on the shelf to the south are younger and represent sediments brought in as suspended load by the Adour and other nearby rivers during the Holocene (Flandrian) transgression.  相似文献

通过分析伶仃洋东岸sz17QZ-20-3钻孔硅藻分布特征,结合测年、岩性和粒度,重建了该地区晚更新世以来的古环境演化。依据沉积物岩性粒度变化判断,晚更新世时期在23.6~11.0 m层段发育了一套河床相-溺古湾相-岸滩相-冲积相的垂向沉积序列,在花斑黏土层中有海水种Ethmodiscus rex碎片的存在,指示晚更新世海侵海退旋回。早全新世海侵在9000 cal.aBP左右到达研究区,海水种硅藻含量开始迅速增加,发育滨海平原相沉积;在8000 cal.aBP左右达到最高海平面,海水种硅藻含量最高;随后研究区处于海平面停滞状态,并缓慢下降,发育浅海相沉积;中晚全新世4.2~0 m层段为海退时期,发育河口湾相沉积。中全新世4.4~4.2 m层位海水种含量突然增加和4.4~4.6 m层位贝壳碎屑层指示可能有风暴潮事件发生;晚全新世0.3~0 m层段表层沉积物中硅藻丰度异常偏高,受人类活动影响较大。  相似文献

The Lower Cretaceous sediments of the Fastnet Basin display similarities to the succession in Britain. The continental Wealden facies is succeeded by a series of marine and marginal marine sediments which reflect the transgression which culminated in the Cenomanian as the chalk seas of the Upper Cretaceous. Some of the changes seen within the microfaunas and microfloras through the Lower Cretaceous are a reflection of the transient facies, and are diachronous across the basin. The microfaunal and palynological associations are described, and the approximate age of each association is based on species ranges reported from onshore Europe and Britain.In some areas, there were local differences in the micropalaeontological associations, in particular in the early Aptian to the late Barremian of well 63/10-1.  相似文献

The innermost shelf off Sarasota, Florida was mapped using sidescan-sonar imagery, seismic-reflection profiles, surface sediment samples, and short cores to define the transition between an onshore siliciclastic sand province and an offshore carbonate province and to identify the processes controlling the distribution of these distinctive facies. The transition between these facies is abrupt and closely tied to the morphology of the inner shelf. A series of low-relief nearly shore-normal ridges characterize the inner shelf. Stratigraphically, the ridges are separated from the underlying Pleistocene and Tertiary carbonate strata by the Holocene ravinement surface. While surficial sediment is fine to very-fine siliciclastic sand on the southeastern sides of the ridges and shell hash covers their northwestern sides, the cores of these Holocene deposits are a mixture of both of these facies. Along the southeastern edges of the ridges the facies boundary coincides with the discontinuity that separates the ridge deposits from the underlying strata. The transition from siliciclastic to carbonate sediment on the northwestern sides of the ridges is equally abrupt, but it falls along the crests of the ridges rather than at their edges. Here the facies transition lies within the Holocene deposit, and appears to be the result of sediment reworking by modern processes. This facies distribution primarily appears to result from south-flowing currents generated during winter storms that winnow the fine siliciclastic sediment from the troughs and steeper northwestern sides of the ridges. A coarse shell lag is left armoring the steeper northwestern sides of the ridges, and the fine sediment is deposited on the gentler southeastern sides of the ridges. This pronounced partitioning of the surficial sediment appears to be the result of the siliciclastic sand being winnowed and transported by these currents while the carbonate shell hash falls below the threshold of sediment movement and is left as a lag. The resulting facies boundaries on this low-energy, sediment-starved inner continental shelf are of two origins which both are tied to the remarkably subtle ridge morphology. Along the southeastern sides of the ridges the facies boundary coincides with a stratigraphic discontinuity that separates Holocene from the older deposits while the transition along the northwestern sides of the ridges is within the Holocene deposit and is the result of sediment redistribution by modern processes.  相似文献

The vertical variations in the borehole core sound velocity (Cp) of the submarine sediments are related to the events of marine transgression and regression in the geologic history. This article establishes the vertical variation of Cp curve for the borehole sound velocity in the northern South China Sea continental shelf and the East China Sea continental shelf, thus providing evidence for revealing at least (3) sedimentary cycle events of marine transgression and regression occurring in the west Pacific marginal sea since the Pleistocene Epoch. The sound velocity of marine sediments brought in the course of marine transgression is lower (1450-1510 m/s) while that of continental sediments formed in the course of marine regression is higher (1650-1720 m/s).  相似文献

Through the palynological research of Quaternary sediments in Changjiang River Delta, 14 spores and - pollen zones might be distinguished, reflecting the vegetation succession and climate fluctuation of Quaternary, which conforms to the climate of the world.Zones 1-9 are thought of as Pleistocene and Zones 10-14 as Holocene based on the climatic fluctuation reflected by these zones and the comparison with the climatic stage at home and abroad.The marine facies sediments of Quaternary in the Changjiang River Delta contain abundant fossil spores and pollen and have obvious characters. Because the warm and humid climate reflected by the palynological assemblages of marine facies sediments often fittes with the transgression, the curve line of the climate fluctuation of Quaternary in the Delta coincides with that of sea level changes.  相似文献

Sediment vibracores and surface samples were collected from the mixed carbonate/siliciclastic inner shelf of west–central Florida in an effort to determine the three-dimensional facies architecture and Holocene geologic development of the coastal barrier-island and adjacent shallow marine environments. The unconsolidated sediment veneer is thin (generally <3 m), with a patchy distribution. Nine facies are identified representing Miocene platform deposits (limestone gravel and blue–green clay facies), Pleistocene restricted marine deposits (lime mud facies), and Holocene back-barrier (organic muddy sand, olive-gray mud, and muddy sand facies) and open marine (well-sorted quartz sand, shelly sand, and black sand facies) deposits. Holocene back-barrier facies are separated from overlying open marine facies by a ravinement surface formed during the late Holocene rise in sea level. Facies associations are naturally divided into four discrete types. The pattern of distribution and ages of facies suggest that barrier islands developed approximately 8200 yr BP and in excess of 20 km seaward of the present coastline in the north, and more recently and nearer to their present position in the south. No barrier-island development prior to approximately 8200 yr BP is indicated. Initiation of barrier-island development is most likely due to a slowing in the Holocene sea-level rise ca. 8000 yr BP, coupled with the intersection of the coast with quartz sand deposits formed during Pleistocene sea-level highstands. This study is an example of a mixed carbonate/siliciclastic shallow marine depositional system that is tightly constrained in both time and sea-level position. It provides a useful analog for the study of other, similar depositional systems in both the modern and ancient rock record.  相似文献
