珠江口盆地中部珠海组—珠江组层序结构及沉积特征   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
南海北部珠江口盆地珠海组分为SQ32、SQ25.5两个三级层序,珠江组划分为SQ23.8、SQ21、SQ17.5和SQ16.5四个三级层序,其中前3个层序分为水进域、高位域,后3个层序分为低位域、水进域和高位域。珠江组初期的白云运动使珠海组的浅水陆架环境变更为珠江组的陆架-陆坡沉积环境,造就了古地貌的更迭、层序界面的形成和沉积相的突变。层序界面在陆架主要为粗粒沉积物形成的侵蚀界面、浅水暴露界面,而陆坡为下切水道、丘状扇体底部侵蚀界面和滑塌层。层序的更迭使古珠江三角洲物源供给强度呈现强-弱-强-弱的特点,即珠海组时期的三角洲为陆架三角洲,沉积规模大;之后珠江组物源变弱,珠江组各层序低位域形成陆架边缘三角洲,水进域、高位域演化为陆架三角洲。低位期的三角洲前缘带越过坡折带沉积,并与陆架外的峡谷水道相连,三角洲进积、加积的碎屑沉积物向上陆坡内的白云凹陷内沉积,形成深水扇。因此,相对海平面变化、构造升降和沉积物供给强度控制着层序结构和沉积体展布。  相似文献

应用地震、钻井、测井、岩心、露头及分析化验资料,将塔里木盆地石炭系划分为4个地震层序和6个沉积层序,其中Csq1、Csq2、Csq5层序为工型层序,Csq3、Csq4、Csq6层序为Ⅱ型层序,与标准的工型层序比较,盆地内Ⅰ型层序低位体系域以河流沉积体系和低位扇三角洲沉积体系为特征,缺失盆底扇、斜坡进积复合体等深水沉积体系;Ⅱ型层序中陆架边缘体系域不发育,主要的沉积体系以浅水碳酸岩台地和海岸平原为特征。石炭纪早期层序形成在起伏不平的剥蚀面之上,以填平补齐的充填沉积为主,中后期层序则发育在宽阔平坦的盆地内,层序地层学格架模式可用Van的被动大陆边缘模式来描述。  相似文献

综合运用地质、测井、地震及分析化验等资料,对渤海湾盆地渤中凹陷古近系沉积体系进行了较深入的研究,研究表明渤中凹陷古近系的沉积体系主要受构造升降和湖平面变化的控制,经历了3期裂陷和湖侵,发育5套沉积体系,其中沙河街组沉积时期为裂陷期,以扇三角洲、湖底扇沉积为主,并发育特征的滩坝及浅水台地相沉积;东营组沉积时期为湖侵期,主要发育大型湖泊三角洲沉积,并逐渐向辫状河相过渡。构造及沉积体系分析认为,沙三段沉积时期物源丰富,主要来自石臼坨凸起、渤南和庙西凸起,沙一、二段沉积时期物源有限,东三沉积期物源主要来自石臼坨和沙东南凸起,东二沉积期大面积的湖侵使得本区处于浅湖-半深湖环境,凹陷周边大量古水系将石臼坨凸起、沙垒田凸起的物源带入凹陷中沉积,使得大型三角洲叠覆体广泛发育。  相似文献

利用层序地层学、沉积学原理和方法,对琼东南盆地古近系陵水组进行了层序划分和沉积体系时空配置关系的研究。建立了陵水组的层序地层格架,将其划分为Els3、ElS2和Elsl三个三级层序,其层序和体系域变化主要受控于凹陷内沉降中心的分布位置,沉积主要受控于盆地边缘的断坡带。每个三级层序低位体系域发育局限,海侵与高位体系域发育。沉积体系构成以扇三角洲、三角洲、滨海平原和浅海为主。探讨了沉积体系的演化,总结了其时空配置关系的特点。  相似文献

松辽盆地泉四段扶余油层发育浅水湖泊三角洲相和浅水湖泊相,沉积构造环境属于闭塞浅水坳陷湖盆,其层序特征类似于稳定克拉通盆地层序,也类似于缓坡被动大陆边缘型盆地层序,气候是控制陆相坳陷盆地层序形成的主要因素,三级层序内总体应表现为水进体系域-高位体系域构成1个完整的层序,而低位体系域不发育。通过岩心、录井、地震等资料研究分析,认为泉四段扶余油层是1个三级层序,发育水进体系域和顶部薄层强制水退边缘体系域;泉四段与泉三段地层分界是其层序的底界;泉四段顶界地震反射层T2也是层序边界,是泉四段三级层序的顶界。精确识别和建立地层层序格架对石油勘探开发具有重要的指导意义。  相似文献

根据歧口凹陷地震剖面的不整合特征等,将古近纪划分为3个二级层序。沙三三段—沙三二段层序:歧口凹陷强烈断陷期,湖盆扩张,气候湿润,普遍发育半深湖深湖泥岩;沙三一段—沙一中段层序:沙三一段基底抬升,地层遭受剥蚀,沙二段时断陷活动减弱,湖水减退,沉积范围减少,沙一段中、下段沉积范围有进一步扩大,该期是重要沉积期;沙一上段—东营组层序:在继承了沙一中、下段的地层沉积之后,东营组早期沉积时期较为稳定,整体沉降较弱,晚期基底整体抬升,遭受剥蚀。  相似文献

溱潼凹陷属走滑伸展型断陷,应用层序地层学原理和方法,建立了阜一段的层序地层格架,并在阜一段识别出湖泊三角洲和湖泊两大沉积体系。同时结合含砂率与地震属性研究,恢复了阜一段低位域、湖扩域和高位域的沉积体系,认为各体系域沉积体系在时空展布上具有一定的继承性和差异性。综合分析认为,研究区阜一段东部的殷庄—广山地区在低位域时发育大型三角洲沉积体系,主要以前缘河口坝及席状砂沉积为主,可作为良好储集层;西部斜坡带华港—北汉庄地区,低位域及高位域均发育三角洲沉积体系且规模较大,主要为平原河道及前缘河口坝沉积,也可作为很好的油气储层。  相似文献

应用层序地层学方法,通过钻井、测井、地震反射等标志,识别出层序界面和最大海泛面,将东海陆架盆地瓯江凹陷古近系划分为3个层序,层序界面分别为T20、T40、T42、T50,并以地层叠置样式、岩性、岩相的变化为依据在单井上将每个三级层序细分为低位、湖侵和高位3个体系域;在层序格架内利用钻井和古生物资料分析了沉积体系在瓯江凹陷的平面展布:月桂峰组主要是三角洲相和湖泊相沉积,灵峰组和明月峰组是三角洲相和滨海相沉积,瓯江组和温州组为三角洲相和滨海相沉积,其中瓯江凹陷东次凹为浅海相沉积;沉积物源主要以西向东注入和西北方向向东南注入,同时揭示了古近系两次大规模海侵分别是古新世中期灵峰组沉积时期和始新世中期瓯江组沉积时期。  相似文献

Tectonically controlled lakes developed during Miocene lateral extrusion of the Eastern Alps. Mineralogy, and the inorganic and organic geochemistry of rocks from three boreholes were investigated to reconstruct the evolution of Lake Ingering and Lake Groisenbach and to study the distribution of source rocks in pull-apart basins. Gas-prone coal and oil-prone sapropelic shale accumulated during the initial, shallow stages of Lake Ingering. Thereafter, the lake deepened rapidly. 125-m-thick prodelta shale containing a type II kerogen was deposited in the brackish, several hundred meter deep, hydrologically closed lake. Afterwards, decreasing subsidence allowed the filling of the lake by prograding deltas. During the advance of the deltaic systems, the lake became shallower, hydrologically open, and the brackish influence terminated. Source rock quality decreased significantly during the filling stage of the lake, a consequence of dilution of autochthonous organic matter and of enhanced input of land plants. Despite its considerable dimensions, formation and filling of Lake Ingering lasted only two million years. Lake Groisenbach was considerably smaller and more susceptible to high-frequency changes in lake chemistry. Although the water body was temporarily oligosaline, brackish conditions did not occur. High sulphur contents were due to anoxic events and the inflow of Ca-rich waters. Abundant dissolved silica favoured diatoms blooms.  相似文献

The Eocene Niubao Formation of the Lunpola Basin, a large Cenozoic intermontane basin in central Tibet, is an important potential hydrocarbon source and reservoir unit. It represents ∼20 Myr of lacustrine sedimentation in a half-graben with a sharply fault-bounded northern margin and a low-angle flexural southern margin, resulting in a highly asymmetric distribution of depositional facies and sediment thicknesses along the N-S axis of the basin. An integrated investigation of well-logs, seismic data, cores and outcrops revealed three third-order sequences (SQ1 to SQ3), each representing a cycle of rising and falling lake levels yielding lowstand, transgressive, and highstand systems tracts. Lowstand systems tracts (LST) include delta and fan delta facies spread widely along the gentle southern margin and concentrated narrowly along the steep northern margin of the basin, with sublacustrine fan sand bodies extending into the basin center. Highstand systems tracts (HST) include expanded areas of basin-center shale deposition, with sublacustrine fans, deltas and fan deltas locally developed along the basin margins. Sequence development may reflect episodes of tectonic uplift and base-level changes. The southern margin of the basin exhibits two different structural styles that locally influenced sequence development, i.e., a multi-step fault belt in the south-central sector and a flexure belt in the southeastern sector. The sedimentary model and sequence stratigraphic framework developed in this study demonstrate that N2 (the middle member of Niubao Formation) exhibits superior hydrocarbon potential, characterized by thicker source rocks and a wider distribution of sand-body reservoirs, although N3 (the upper member of Niubao Formation) also has good potential. Fault-controlled lithologic traps are plentiful along the basin margins, representing attractive targets for future exploratory drilling for hydrocarbons.  相似文献

The marine fill of ancient foreland basins is primarily recorded by depositional systems consisting of facies and facies associations deposited by a variety of sediment gravity flows in shallow-marine, slope and basinal settings. Tectonism and climate were apparently the main factors controlling the sediment supply, accommodation and depositional style of these systems. In marginal deltaic systems, sedimentation is dominated by flood-generated hyperpycnal flows that build up impressive accumulations of graded sandstone beds in front of relatively small high-gradient fan-deltas and river deltas. During periods of tectonically forced lowstands of sealevel, these systems may commonly shift basinward to shelfal and slope regions. Instability along the edges of these lowstand deltas and sand-laden hyperpycnal flows generate immature and coarse-grained turbidite systems commonly confined within structural depressions and generally encased in distal delta-front and prodeltaic deposits. Because of the close vertical and lateral stratigraphic relations between deltaic and turbidite-like facies, these marginal systems are herein termed ‘mixed depositional systems’. They are very common in the fill of foreland basins and represent the natural link between deltaic and basinal turbidite sedimentation.Basinal turbidite systems form in deeper water elongate highly subsiding troughs (foredeeps) that developed in front of advancing thrust systems. The impressive volumes of sheet-sandstones that form the fill of these troughs suggest that basinal turbidite systems are likely to form following periods of dramatic tectonic uplift of adjacent orogenic wedges and related high-amplitude tectonically-forced sealevel lowstands. In such deep basinal settings, sediment flux to the sea is dramatically increased by newly formed sediment in fluvial drainage basins and the subaerial and submarine erosion of falling-sealevel deltaic deposits generated during the uplift. Turbidity currents are very likely to be mainly triggered by floods, via hyperpycnal flows and related sediment failures, but can fully develop only in large-scale erosional conduits after a phase of catastrophic acceleration and ensuing bulking produced by bed erosion. This process leads to deepening and widening of the conduits and the formation of large-volume highly efficient bipartite currents whose energy dissipation is substantially reduced by the narrow and elongate basin geometry. These currents can thus carry their sediment load over considerable distances down the basin axis.  相似文献

Thin-bedded beach-bar sandstone reservoirs are common in the Eocene Shahejie Formation (Es4s) of Niuzhuang Sag, along the southern gentle slope of the Dongying Depression. Here we report on the link between sequence stratigraphy, sedimentary facies and diagenetic effects on reservoir quality. Seismic data, wireline logs, core observations and analyses are used to interpret depositional settings and sequence stratigraphic framework. Petrographic study based on microscopic observation of optical, cathodoluminescence (CL), confocal laser scanning (LSCM) and scanning electron microscope (SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) analyses were used to describe the fabric, texture, allogenic and authigenic mineralogy of these highly heterogeneous sandstone reservoirs. The Es4s interval is interpreted as third-order sequence, composed of a lowstand systems tract (LST), a transgressive systems tract (TST) and a highstand systems tract (HST). On the fourth order, twenty-nine parasequences and seven parasequence sets have been identified. Sand bodies were deposited mainly in the shoreface shallow lake beach-bar (clastic beach-bar), semi-deep lake (carbonate beach-bar) and the fluvial channels. The depositional and diagenetic heterogeneities were mainly due to the following factors: (1) fine grain size, poor sorting, and continuous thin inter-bedded mud layers with siltstone/fine-sandstone having argillaceous layers in regular intervals, (2) immature sediment composition, and (3) even with the dissolution of grains and several fractures, destruction of porosity by cementation and compaction. Secondary pores from feldspar dissolution are better developed in sandstones with increased cementation. Grain coating smectite clays preserved the primary porosity at places while dominating pore filling authigenic illite and illite/smectite clays reduced permeability with little impact on porosity. Due to the high degree of heterogeneity in the Es4s beach-bar interval, it is recognized as middle to low permeable reservoir. The aforementioned study reflects significant insight into the understanding of the properties of the beach-bar sands and valuable for the comprehensive reservoir characterization and overall reservoir bed quality.  相似文献

While clastic mudstones and shale were traditionally interpreted to have been deposited in quiet water settings, recent flume experiments and studies have shown that mud can be transported in and deposited by traction currents as migrating ripples of mud aggregates. Despite these recent advances, mud aggregates have rarely been adequately described in the rock record.These mud aggregates and the sedimentary structures they form in mudstone successions are difficult to observe in the rock record due to compaction, which often obliterates the aggregates and flattens bedforms. This paper documents unambiguously identifiable sand sized mudstone aggregates in thin sections and SEM, transported in traction, and deposited in a series of prograding clinothems. These aggregates were sufficiently indurated to locally preserve shelter porosity, significantly improving the hydrocarbon reservoir properties.Grain size analysis of the aggregates was performed on thin sections, as well as disaggregated samples measured by a laser diffraction grain size analyzer for comparison. These analyses showed that sand sized aggregates often comprise more than half of the sediment volume. While the clay-rich composition of the Carlile Formation would suggest that it is a mudstone, statistical analysis of these grain size measurements show that it could alternatively be described as a silty sandstone. These findings potentially change how we think about mudstone classification, fine-grained sedimentation, and mudstone dominated petroleum reservoirs.  相似文献

为阐明珠三坳陷西北部珠江组一段上亚段浅海陆架砂体成因机制,综合地质与地球物理数据,首先搭建了五级层序地层格架,并以此为约束,开展浅海陆架砂体识别与定量描述,剖析其时空演化规律,进而讨论其成因机制。结果表明:(1)研究区珠江组一段上亚段可划分为4个五级层序,自下向上编号为FS4、FS3、FS2与FS1;(2)研究区发育潮流沙脊与滨外沙坝两种类型陆架砂体,两者整体呈NW-SE向展布,潮流沙脊主要分布于研究区西部,滨外沙坝则集中于东部;(3)FS4、FS3与FS2 3个五级层序中,潮流沙脊与滨外沙坝均呈现较大规模与较多数量,最上部FS1五级层序中,规模与数量达到最小;(4)沉积基准面(水动力)、同沉积地貌、沉积物碎屑供给等因素共同影响了潮流沙脊与滨外沙坝的发育规模、展布特征与时空演化规律等,综合构成了珠三坳陷西北部浅海陆架砂体的成因机制。  相似文献
